(Leah - POV)

To say I was nervous was an understatement. The plane landed smoothly. It was around 1 o'clock in the morning when we landed. Luckily since Seattle was a larger city there was a nearby car rental center that was 24/7. The Cullen siblings left to go to their home. Marcus rented a car for himself, Bella, and Felix. I advised Demetri that he would need to rent a truck since La Push wasn't too friendly for cars. The terrain was terrible on the cars, it was better for trucks. Thankfully he took my advice and rented a really nice truck.

He smiled at me as he helped me get in the truck. He blurred to his side and got in to drive. He started it up and drove in the direction I told him to. It took roughly 4 hours to get home. It was 5 o'clock in the morning when we pulled into the drive of the old house that I grew up in. I could see the chimney smoking. I could smell bacon cooking and coffee was brewing. Mom was making breakfast. My stomach suddenly growled loudly. Demetri chuckled beside me with an arm around my shoulders. I opened the door. I led the way to the kitchen. I could hear mom moving around in the kitchen.

"Mom?" I said as I came into the outdated kitchen.

"Leah, oh, you're home." my mother said and rushed to me, enveloping me into a tight hug.

She pulled away from me and looked me over. Typical mom stuff of checking that her child was physically ok. Then her eyes darted over to Demetri. Her cinnamon brown eyes widened as she looked at him then they looked at me in alarm.

"Mom, this is my imprint, Demetri." I told her.

"It is a pleasure to meet the mother of my piccola, Leah." Demetri's smooth voice came through my senses.

"Oh! Pleased to meet you." my mother said to him and then looked to me.

"I know what you're thinking. I never would have dreamed that a protector and a vampire would be imprints." I said to her as I got a cup of coffee.

"Piccola, why is it unheard of?" Demetri asked me.

"Mom, you want to take this one?" I asked her as I sipped the bitter brew.

She looked to me and then sighed, "Demetri, our tribes protectors hunt vampires. You and Leah are natural born enemies. The other protectors are not going to be happy about you. Sam especially will not."

"Piccola, you are a vampire hunter? Who is this, Sam?" he said as he moved to me.

"Not exactly. It's a bit more than that. Sam is my ex-boyfriend." I told him and sat my mug down, "Come along. I have to show you what I am."

I led him out the back door and into the back yard, the little chickens ran to me hoping for their breakfast. I tossed a few handfuls out for them from the bag on the back porch. I continued over to the woods. I got to a small clearing by our house, and I took my clothes off. He looked so confused.

"Hold these." I told him, handing him my clothes.

"Piccola?" he said and held my clothes.

The heat sizzled through my veins as I felt the change overcome me. I burst forth into my sleek gray wolf. The moment I changed the pack minds assaulted me. I ignored them and pushed them out and closed the door in my mind. Closing them out as I shared this with my imprint.

"Piccola, this is amazing." He said in awe as he came up to me with my clothes folded over his arm, "My, my, la lupa piccola."

He ran his gloved hand over my thick gray fur. Then he ran his hand under my muzzle and leaned his forehead against my own. He whispered Italian to me as he ran his hands over my face. Then he spoke English.

"Change back piccola. As much as I like your la lupa I need la mia dea back." Demetri said and took a few steps back from me.

I yipped at him then put forth the thought to change back. I felt the change. The bones and muscles shift and morph back into my human form. I opened my eyes up to Demetri really close to me. His eyes travelling down my naked form. I suddenly felt self-conscious and moved my hands to grab ahold of my clothes. He placed a hand on top of mine. He picked it up and kissed the back of it gently. Then pulled me up to him, his other arm went around my waist and pulled me up to him.

"Bella lupa." he whispered to me as he swooped down and claimed my lips with his.

Oh, he had this charm, this desirable charisma that just oozed from him. I heard my clothes fall to the forest floor and his other arm came up around me. I was pulled up his taller frame. My legs around his waist as his hands held me up under my ass. I felt the bark of a tree bite into my back. Demetri pulled away from my lips. My head fell back as his lips travelled down my neck. His lips and tongue toyed with my pulse.

"You're addictive, piccola." he whispered in my ear.

His accent sent chills down my spine. I shivered as his cold lips came in contact with my neck again. This was so different. I had never felt like this even with Sam. I guess imprints were just special. He was like an ice cube running along a sunburn. I bit into my bottom lip as a small moan made its way into my throat. Then he suddenly stopped.

"We have company." he said as he sat me back on my feet and gave me my clothes.

I quickly pulled my clothes back on as the pack run into the clearing. I put myself in front of Demetri. They were more likely to attack before asking any questions. Sam's black wolf was at the forefront. He shifted into his human form and slid his shorts on. He turned back to me. Eyes glaring over my shoulder to my vampire.

"Sam." I said and leaned back onto Demetri, whose arms came around me.

"Piccola, who is this?" Demetri asked of me.

"This is Sam. He is the Alpha. This is my pack." I answered him.

"You are the only female. Piccola you are very special." He said to me as he dipped his head down to my neck again.

The pack all growled. Sam put his hand out to keep them from charging forward. I felt Demetri smirk against my neck. He was messing with them. I could see that Sam was tense.

"What can I do for you Sam? I just got back. Bella Swan is safe and sound. I am hungry and tired. I wouldn't say no to a hot shower either." I stated simply.

"Leah... why is that here?" he all but spit out while pointing to Demetri.

Demetri lifted his dark head, "She called me her imprint. She is my mate."

"Seth didn't say he was a vampire." Sam hissed out.

"Seth didn't know. I didn't clarify. I only said I was bringing back my imprint and that he was Greek." I clarified for him.

"This is bullshit!" Paul's voice cut through as he phased back and pulled his shorts on.

"Remember Sam; this is our most absolute sacred law. Imprints are off limits. He now has the protection of the pack just as Emily, Kim, Rachel, and Claire do. He is pack. He is my imprint." I said calmly to Sam, ignoring Paul and his anger.

A look of intense frustration passed over Sam's features. He said nothing. He nodded. He wasn't happy but his happiness wasn't in my hands anymore. That was Emily's job now. I found what I needed. And damn me that happiness was in the 6'3" frame of a blood sucking, human eating vampire called my imprint.
