I'm having trouble writing a chapter. In my side story, I write about character ending their life and it is so hard to write. Since it base on a true story it is just hard to write without getting emotional. I don't want to write it. But to fill a plot hole in my story, I'll need to write it.
Fujimoto Kaori's apartment door clicked shut behind them, the sound muffled by the weight of their shopping bags. She sighed, a hint of relief mingling with exhaustion, as she kicked off her shoes and headed straight for her bedroom to change. The day had been long, and the comfort of home beckoned irresistibly.
Emerging a few minutes later, Kaori had swapped her office attire for something far more comfortable: a simple white camisole paired with black flared lounge shorts and fluffy white knee-high socks. The outfit was her small rebellion against the restrictive nature of her work clothes, offering a freedom that felt blissfully tangible against her skin.
Hikigaya Hachiman, who had ended up helping her with the shopping after a chance meeting at the market, placed the bags on her kitchen counter. "Do you always buy this much every week?" he asked, his eyes briefly flicking over her changed appearance with a blend of curiosity and respect.
"It's easier to get it all done in one go," Kaori replied, beginning to unload the groceries. "Thanks for helping me carry these. You're a lifesaver, Hikigaya-kun."
Hikigaya shrugged, a wry smile playing on his lips. "It's nothing. Just part of my daily life-saving routine," he joked dryly.

I chuckled, my usual cheerful demeanor resurfacing now that I was comfortably ensconced in my personal space, away from the pressures of my workplace. "I still can't believe I thought you were a coworker at the office. But I'm glad I was wrong."
I grimaced slightly. "Maybe because I wanted to believe there was someone else in the same boat. The office can feel like a battleground sometimes." My voice held a hint of bitterness when I spoke about my work, a stark contrast to the lively energy I exhibited outside.
Noticing the shift in my tone, Hikigaya leaned against the counter, his eyes thoughtful. "Sounds tough. If you ever need to talk about it, I'm here. Not like I have office experience, but I can give a unique outsider's perspective."
"Thanks, Hikigaya-kun. It's... complicated. The higher-ups don't exactly play fair. They push their work on me, and there's this constant undertone of harassment..." My words trailed off, and I shook my head as if to clear it. "But let's not dwell on that now. I'm supposed to be escaping from all that here."
Seeing my distress, Hikigaya changed the subject. "So, what's on the menu today? You mentioned teaching me a recipe?"
Brightening up, I spread out the ingredients. "Yes! We're making karaage. It's simple, delicious, and a great way to unwind. You ready to get your hands dirty?"
"Sure, lead the way, Chef Fujimoto," Hikigaya replied his tone light, playing along with my more upbeat mood.
As we began to prepare the meal, I guided him through the steps, explaining the importance of marinating the chicken and the type of flour mix for the best texture. Cooking together, our earlier conversation about my work woes seemed to dissolve, replaced by the simpler, immediate task of making dinner.
I found myself explaining not just the cooking process but also little anecdotes from my less stressful days, my laughter mingling with the sizzle of chicken hitting hot oil. Hikigaya listened, occasionally interjecting with his deadpan humor, which made me laugh even more.
As we sat down to eat, I felt a warmth that wasn't just from the food. Here was someone who saw me not as a harassed office worker but as a person with my own stories and laughter.
"Thanks, Hikigaya-kun," I said as we started eating. "Today turned out to be a lot better than I expected."
Hikigaya nodded, a small smile on his face as he tasted the karaage. "Yeah, me too. Let's do it again sometime. I mean the cooking, not the grocery misadventure."
I smiled, feeling a sense of camaraderie that had been missing from my life lately. "It's a deal."

After our meal, with the remnants of our cooking adventure scattered across the kitchen counter, we found ourselves in the living room, basking in the contentment that followed a satisfying dinner. I settled onto my bed, using a pile of pillows as a makeshift backrest, while Hikigaya sat cross-legged on the floor, engrossed in his phone.
Curiosity tugged at me, and I glanced over at Hikigaya's screen. "What game are you playing?" I asked, a playful grin tugging at the corners of my lips.
Hikigaya looked up from his phone, his expression momentarily distracted before he replied, "Fate/Grand Order."
"Fate/Grand Order?" I repeated, raising an eyebrow. "Isn't that the game with all the historical and mythological figures fighting each other? I've heard about it, but I've never played."
Hikigaya's eyes lit up with enthusiasm, a spark of excitement igniting in his gaze. "Oh, it's so much more than that," he began, his voice carrying an almost reverent tone. "The game is set in a world where mages summon heroic spirits from throughout history and legend to fight in a battle for the future of humanity. The storylines are incredibly intricate, weaving together elements of history, mythology, and fantasy in a way that keeps you hooked for hours."
I listened, captivated by his passionate explanation. As Hikigaya delved into the lore of the game, recounting epic battles and legendary heroes, I found myself drawn in, a newfound curiosity blossoming within me.
"It sounds... fascinating," I murmured, my gaze lingering on his animated expression. "Maybe I should give it a try sometime."
Hikigaya's eyes widened in surprise, a grin spreading across his face. "Really? You won't regret it, I promise. I can even help you get started, show you the ropes."
I chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Alright, you've convinced me. Consider me a recruit to the Fate/Grand Order fan club."
After Hikigaya's enthusiastic recommendation, I decided to download Fate/Grand Order and embark on a new adventure. With a sense of excitement tingling in my veins, I tapped the download button and watched as the progress bar slowly filled.

Once the game was installed, I launched it and found myself immersed in a world of magic, heroes, and epic battles. As I navigated through the tutorial, Hikigaya's words echoed in my mind, his passionate descriptions of the game's lore fueling my curiosity.
With my phone in hand, I eagerly recounted my first experiences in Fate/Grand Order, my excitement palpable as I described summoning my first servant.
Hikigaya listened with a grin, his enthusiasm reignited by my newfound interest in the game. "That's great to hear! Welcome to the world of Fate," he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "So, who did you summon?"
My face lit up as I recalled the moment. "I got Siegfried! He seems pretty cool, but I'm still getting the hang of everything."
Hikigaya nodded approvingly. "Not a bad start. Siegfried is a solid saber servant. But let me tell you about some of my favorites."
Leaning forward, he launched into detailed descriptions of his beloved servants, each one accompanied by fervent praise and admiration.
"First, there's Saber Alter," he began, his voice filled with reverence. "She's like the dark counterpart to King Arthur, with a fierce determination and a powerful presence on the battlefield. You'll want her on your team."
As Hikigaya spoke, I found myself captivated by his passion, my excitement growing with each new servant he introduced.
"Then, there's Jeanne d'Arc Alter," he continued, his eyes alight with excitement. "She's a powerful avenger with a tragic backstory, but her strength and resolve make her an unstoppable force in battle."
Next, he spoke of Meltryllis, the enigmatic and alluring alter ego of Medusa, and her lancer counterpart, whose grace and agility on the battlefield were unmatched.
As Hikigaya concluded his descriptions, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the depth and complexity of the game's characters. With each new servant he introduced, my determination to become a skilled master and lead my team of heroic spirits only grew stronger.
"Wow, they all sound amazing," I exclaimed, my eyes shining with excitement. "I can't wait to summon them and experience their stories for myself."
With a shared smile, we settled back, our minds already racing with plans for future battles and adventures in the world of Fate/Grand Order.
