Triassic Triumph

The Cyberspace was busy, but Hayley was all smiles as she finally had Trent back at work.

Conner, Ethan, and Kira walked in the doors and Ethan noticed Hayley's happy mood, "Someone looks pretty happy today."

Hayley replied, "Oh, hey. It's so good to have Trent back."

Conner quipped, "Yeah. And with the new attitude adjustment, he's almost likeable."

Trent was walking to the counter, "I heard that" and smacked Conner's shoulder. He did have an order to put in and told Hayley, "Two more Cyber Berry Blasts, please."

Hayley happily nodded and went to fill the order, giving the rangers a chance to talk.

Conner asked, "So, how's it going?"

Trent said in relief, "Fantastic… I feel like a new man."

Kira replied, "We're just glad the old man is back."

Ethan nodded in relief as Kira told Trent, "You're one of us now. No more secrets."

Trent agreed, "You're right." He grabbed the order he needed, but then sadly thought about the one promise he made to his father, "No more secrets."

At Mesogog's fortress, Zeltrax played a demonstration of his evil White Ranger Clone easily battling and defeating three monsters.

Zeltrax proudly declared, "You see, my lord, a completely evil White Ranger, devoid of pathetic human traits."

Mesogog was pleased, "Zeltrax, you have done well."

Elsa begrudgingly agreed, "Ooh, I hate to admit it, but even I'm impressed,"

Mesogog asked Zeltrax, "So, tell me, what is your plan?"

Zeltrax proudly replied, "Allow me to demonstrate" He went over to where he had the clone strapped down and connected to the Geno Randomizer, "Using a sample of the White Ranger's cloned energy will allow me to create a being of unparalleled terror! I give you… the White Terrorsaurus"

A raggedly looking, but tough Pterodactyl-like monster emerged from the machine.

Mesogog was impressed with the new monster, "Ahh… excellent. Trent Mercer may have promised not to betray his father, but he is, after all… human. And no human can be trusted. I must strike before his sense of right and wrong outweighs his sense of loyalty."

The rangers were still at the Cyberspace working on their schoolwork. Trent picked up the empty drink glasses when Ethan told Trent, "Let's go. That report ain't gonna write itself."

Trent had to finish his work shift, "I'll catch up with you at the library." Ethan nodded as they bumped fists in agreement to meet up later.

Conner got up when he noticed a new student getting up and walking away from a group of girls from school. He was curious as the new guy happened to be holding a soccer ball while gathering up his gear, "What's his deal?"

The new guy was heading for the exit when he was stopped by Cassidy, who was in full reporter mode, "Alexi Poporoff—exchange student, soccer genius. So, what do you think of the soccer scene here at Reefside, and do you think we have a shot at the Super Bowl?"

Alexi looked uncomfortable as Devin corrected, "Uh, Cass, they don't have a Super Bowl. It's called a World Cup."

Cassidy replied to Devin, "Cup, Bowl, whatever." She then returned her attention to Alexi, "So, what do you think of the team?"

Alexi responded, "No, I'm sorry. I can't speak with you now." He quickly headed for the exit.

Cassidy wasn't pleased with losing her interview and asked Devin, "Okay, what's with that?"

Conner shook his head as he told his friends, "She's never cared about soccer before. At least she's never wanted to interview me."

Ethan quipped, "Someone's looking a little more green than red."

Kira laughed as Conner denied, "I'm not jealous. It's just, if he's that good, he should be on a club team. I'm gonna go see if he's joined up with anyone."

Conner headed for the exit as Ethan rolled his eyes, "Jealous."

Kira chuckled and agreed, "So jealous"

Conner managed to catch up with Alexi outside, "Hey, Alexi, right? I'm Conner McKnight. I heard you're a pretty good soccer player. I was just wondering if you're thinking about—"

Alexi quickly hopped on his bike, "Sorry, I must go."

Conner scoffed as Alexi rode off, "Okay, whatever, dude." He found Alexi a little standoffish and rude.

Afterwards, the rangers were walking in town. Conner was telling his friends about his interaction with Alexi, "Don't you think it was rude? I mean, he doesn't even think about it, he just walks away."

Kira replied, "I'm sure he's got a good reason. Why don't you just ask him again?"

Ethan still had to head to the library, "Look, I'd love to stay and hash this out with you guys, but if I don't get to the library soon, I'm totally going to fail this project."

Ethan prepared to leave, but then Zeltrax appeared on the scene.

Zeltrax heard the last part, "Then prepare to fail, Blue Ranger."

Ethan quickly rejoined his friends as they got into defensive poses, "I knew I should've gone straight there."

Zeltrax snapped his fingers, and the rangers were quickly attacked by the White Ranger Clone and the White Terrorsaurus.

The rangers groaned as they fell to the ground. Zeltrax laughed as he was joined by his creations, "Good work."

White Ranger Clone cooly wiped his brow, "Didn't even break a sweat."

All the rangers were shocked as they saw the clone and thought Trent had turned again.

Kira cried, "Trent?"

Ethan was in disbelief, "This can't be real."

Zeltrax replied, "Oh, it's real."

Conner managed to get up and demanded, "What are you doing, Trent?"

White Ranger Clone answered, "I don't know a Trent. I just know you'll soon be… destroyed."

Conner growled, "I'm so not in the mood for this." He summoned his morpher, "Ready?"

Ethan and Kira cried, "Ready!" The team got into their morphing stances and hollered, "Dino Thunder, Power Up!" and quickly transformed into their ranger suits.

Zeltrax summoned his shield and held his creations back, "Wait! Allow me!" He then charged at the rangers.

White Ranger Clone told White Terrorsaurus, "Let's get a better view."

White Terrorsaurus, "Right!" And both jumped up onto a nearby stairwell balcony.

Conner summoned his blaster, "Fire!" and aimed at Zeltrax.

Zeltrax simply brought up his shield and blocked Conner's blasts. He then brought up his gloves and fired a powerful blast at Conner, hitting the red ranger right in the stomach.

Conner fell and rolled onto his stomach. Ethan and Kira quickly rushed to their friend's side and planted themselves in a protective stance in front of Conner.

Zeltrax charged forward but Ethan and Kira summoned their blasters and fired, "Lasers!"

Zeltrax blocked the blasts with his shield. He summoned his sword and leaped at the rangers.

The cyborg engaged the blue and yellow rangers in close combat, managing to land several strikes on them with his sword.

Zeltrax spun around and began to fight with Conner. He then landed a blow to Conner's chest. Conner grabbed his blaster again, but Zeltrax pulled his arm down and locked him in a hold. The cyborg then used his shield to shove Conner backwards.

Conner quipped, "Touchy!" as the two began to fight again. Zeltrax gripped Conner's shoulder and sent the red ranger flying.

Conner used the training he learned from Kimberly… he arched his shoulders like he was going into a backflip and was able to roll himself back up.

Ethan and Kira quickly joined him, "Conner!" "You okay?!"

Conner was already on his feet, "Yup!" But then Zeltrax fired his energy blasts, hitting all three rangers.

The rangers groaned as they fell to the ground. Conner lost his grip on his blaster, and it landed just out of his reach.

Zeltrax pulled out his sword, "Now you're mine!" and charged.

Ethan and Kira tossed their blasters to Conner, "Conner!" "Catch!"

Conner crouched up, "Got it!" and caught the blasters. He leaped up at the cyborg, "Double trouble!" and fired both blasters at Zeltrax.

Zeltrax groaned as the blasts hit him and crashed to the ground. The cyborg struggled to get up, so White Ranger Clone and White Terrorsaurus jumped down to check out the situation.

White Ranger Clone turned towards the rangers, "So you stopped Zeltrax. Try to stop my Terrorsaurus!"

White Terrorsaurus stalked forward, "Let me show you the extent of my powers. You will be defeated!"

Suddenly Trent arrived on the scene. He fired the lasers from his ATV at the villains, "Not on my watch!"

Trent spun his cycle around and parked it in front of his friends. He hopped off, pleased his lasers had thrown the bad guys off their game, "Yeah! Hey guys, thought I'd join the fun!" and quickly got into a defensive pose.

Ethan looked at Trent and the White Ranger Clone in confusion, "Wait, who's who?"

Trent cocked his head to his friends and verified, "Guys, it's me."

White Ranger Clone gripped his chest and warned Trent, "Enjoy your reunion while you can. Nothing you do can stop us now!"

Zeltrax summoned a portal and he and his creations disappeared from the scene.

Trent crossed his arms and ordered, "Okay, Power Down!" and revealed himself to his friends.

The other rangers powered down and looked at Trent in bewilderment.

Trent asked, "You guys okay?"

Conner was immediately distrustful of Trent, "Great… you got a twin brother you never told us about?"

Trent was just as confused as his friends and lowered his head, hurt that the clone had damaged the trust he had just gotten back from his friends.

The rangers quickly returned to the Dino Lab and told Tommy about the situation.

Kira said, "Okay, so we barely get one White Ranger under control, then another one shows up." She turned towards Trent, "Any idea who it could be?"

Trent raised his arms in frustration, "I have no clue" He did not like that he had an evil duplicate of himself out there.

Tommy had finished his analysis and revealed, "My sensors show some kind of cloned energy force. It's probably not even a living being at all."

Conner growled, "Yeah, he may not be alive, but his kick sure felt real."

Tommy reiterated, "I never said he wasn't real. He's a threat, all right."

Ethan replied, "Well, now that that's settled, what's with that Terrorsaurus? Man, he was raggedy."

Tommy revealed, "He's giving off some of the same readings as the other White Ranger. It's almost like they were one and the same."

Conner growled at Trent, "I knew it. You should have never been here in the first place." He stepped towards Trent in anger.

Tommy stopped the hot-headed red ranger, "Not now, Conner! We're gonna need backup, big time."

Kimberly warned, "Conner, cool it. Tommy's right… we are going to need Trent."

Tommy walked towards Trent, "Trent, come with me. Let's go!"

Conner questioned, "Why not me or one of the others?"

Tommy replied, "You'll have your role to play in this, Conner. Trust me, right now, I need Trent. Keep an eye on the city and call us if that thing returns. Come on…" He and Trent then headed to the exit.

Kimberly turned to the rangers, "I know you guys are frustrated, but Tommy has good reasons behind his orders. Trust him… now I have to return to the school and Hayley's still stuck at the Cyberspace. I trust that at least one of you can watch the monitors until I can get back."

Ethan volunteered to stay, so the rest of the group went on their way.

Later, on the soccer field, Alexi joined in playing with Conner's friends. Alexi had skills, and even managed to score a goal.

Alexi had kicked the ball, and Conner managed to catch the ball in mid-air. He was impressed by Alexi's skills, "Hey, nice kick. Can you—"

But Alexi just quickly grabbed the ball back to rejoin the game. Conner quirked his eyebrows at Alexi's behavior.

One of Conner's soccer pals approached him, "McKnight! Get in here!"

Conner continued to stare at Alexi, "Maybe later."

His pal commented on Alexi, "He's good. Better be careful, or you might find yourself replaced."

Conner quipped, "We'll see about that." He began to open his soccer bag when his bracelet alarm went off. He growled in frustration as he grabbed his gear and left the field.

Conner returned to the Dino Lab and found Ethan and Kira at the monitors, "What's up?"

Kira answered, "Our problem just got a lot bigger." As the White Terrorsaurus appeared in giant form on the monitors.

Ethan used the computer to track the monster's whereabouts, "He's in the woods outside of town."

Conner asked, "So, what are we waiting for?"

Kira replied, "Our orders, remember? Dr. O said to call him and Trent if that guy showed up again."

Conner grew impatient, "Yeah, but why? I mean it's obvious they've got something important to do. We can handle this. Come on."

Ethan quirked his eyebrows at Conner's insistence.

Kira reluctantly agreed, "Okay, but the minute things get ugly, we call for backup."

Conner nodded, "Sure"

Ethan replied, "Let's do it. We'll call the Zords from here."

The trio jumped down to the main floor and got into their morphing stances, "Dino Thunder, Power Up!" and quickly morphed.

The rangers formed the Megazord and headed to the woods in search of the White Terrorsaurus.

Ethan asked as the clouds turned dark and stormy, "Where is he?"

Conner realized, "Something's wrong." As the lightning struck the ground.

Cephlazord and Dimetrozord appeared and were making their way towards the rangers as they were finally free from Trent's evil influence.

Conner cried, "Look, our zords!"

Suddenly huge spheres engulfed the two zords.

Kira realized, "A trap!"

White Terrorsaurus revealed its chameleon powers and appeared as he captured the zords and trapped them inside his chest spike, "And you fell for it!"

The monster then used Trent's/White Ranger super-speed attack on the Megazord. The blasts shocked the Megazord and it broke apart… sending the rangers crashing to the ground.

The main Dino Zords cried out as they fell and landed on the ground. White Terrorsaurus declared, "Now you're mine!" and launched his energy spheres at the zords.

The main Dino Zords groaned and were helpless as they were captured and trapped into White Terrorsaurus's chest spike.

The rangers were shocked at the loss, "Our zords!" "Unbelievable!" "No!"

Meanwhile, Trent and Tommy were making their way through the woods.

Trent said in appreciation, "Thanks, Dr. O, for trusting me. It means a lot."

Tommy answered, "I do trust you, Trent. But I meant what I said in the lab. This mission had to be yours."

Trent asked, "Why?"

Tommy revealed, "There's an ancient artifact that was hidden out here centuries ago. I've known its whereabouts for a while. But only one power can retrieve it."

Trent realized, "Mine?"

Tommy replied, "Yes. Using your chameleon power, you should be able to retrieve the artifact from its hiding place. But I'm warning you, it won't be easy."

Trent nodded, "I'm ready."

Tommy nodded as well, "Good… let's go." He then led the way to a nearby waterfall.

Trent asked on arrival, "Is this the place?"

Tommy replied, "Yep. It's there- in the water. Okay, raise your arms like this." He raised the arm that held his morpher up towards his face.

Trent copied the motion. Tommy then instructed, "Now concentrate! Use the Dino Gem power."

Trent nodded… he closed his eyes in concentration. Tommy concentrated as well, as a golden beam came from his morpher and a white beam came from Trent's bracelet. Both beams went into the water… the water bubbled, and a shield rose from the water. The shield rose high into the air, only gripped by Trent and Tommy's powers.

Tommy replied, "There it is!"

Trent let out a sigh of relief, "It's working!"

Tommy instructed, "Don't break the concentration. Stay focused." At that moment, the shield pulsed and sent out a wave of energy.

The moment the shield pulsed, Conner groaned and gripped his helmet, "I'm getting a weird feeling. Something's calling me."

Conner then got a vision of a ranger holding the shield. The vision ended with the shield glowing, "Whoa, gnarly."

Kira asked in concern, "Conner, you okay?"

Conner replied, "I think so." He gasped as the White Terrorsaurus shrank down and reappeared in front of them.

White Terrorsarus taunted, "Your head too big for your helmet?"

Conner demanded, "What have you done with our zords?"

White Terrorsarus replied, "You should be more worried about what I will do to you. Your zords belong to me now."

Indeed, the poor zords were trapped inside a fiery dimension inside the monster's chest spike.

White Terrorsaurus extended his wings and cried, "Prepare for your demise."

The monster then flew straight at the rangers… the rangers gasped at that, but quickly got into defensive positions.

Conner defiantly said, "In your dreams!" as he and his team grabbed their blasters, "Fire!"

But the blasters did not slow White Terrorsaurus down. Conner warned, "Look out!" as the monster flew by and struck the rangers.

Ethan cried, "Heads up!" as the White Terrorsarusus grabbed him.

Ethan hollered in mid-air, "Let me go!"

White Terrorsaurus quipped, "Have it your way!" and dropped Ethan from the sky.

Ethan groaned as he landed in a muddy puddle of water.

Kira and Conner quickly rushed to Ethan's side and helped him up, "Ethan!" "Nasty" … Ethan's suit was soaked and dirty from the fall.

Conner groaned, "What is up with this guy?!"

White Terrorsaurus landed on the ground and laughed, "You are powerless against me!"

Conner quickly thought, "Let's try our sabers!"

Kira and Ethan agreed, "Yeah!"

The rangers summoned, "Thundermax Saber, Power up!"

White Terrorsaurus replied, "Fools!" as the rangers charged at him. The monster quipped, "Show me what you got!"

The rangers went to strike, but White Terrorsaurus quickly leapt out of the way. Leading the rangers to strike each other with their own sabers.

Back at the waterfall, Trent was beginning to get drained and started to falter in his concentration.

Trent groaned as it was getting painful for him, "Oh, man!"

Tommy encouraged, "Keep going, Trent. We've almost got it."

Trent groaned out, "I'm trying. I'm just losing control."

The rangers groaned from the impact and viciously landed on the ground.

Conner managed to say, "Maybe we should've waited for Dr. O."

Ethan quipped, "Ya think?"

Kira agreed, "Slightly"

White Terrorsaurus stalked forward as the rangers struggled to get up, "Prepare to be destroyed!"

The monster cried, "Fire!" and shot lasers from his eyes towards the rangers.

The rangers groaned as the explosions hit them and blasted them off the hillside. They fell into the river below.

White Terrorsaurus looked down at the river, "You're all washed up. Time to destroy your city." He flew away, thinking he had destroyed the Power Rangers.

Kira sarcastically quipped as she and the boys made their way out of the river, "That was a great idea, Conner!"

Ethan agreed, "Yeah. Got any more brilliant—"

Conner interrupted, "Wait. It's happening again!" He got another vision of the ranger holding the shield. The shield began to glow as the ranger used it… the vision ended with the shield surrounded by golden light.

Conner held his head and realized, "Something… something isn't right."

Kira asked, "What do you mean?"

Conner replied, "I can't explain it. I just know Trent and Dr. O need me." He ran off to find Trent and Tommy.

Conner's vision was right… Trent was getting weaker, "I- I can't hold it much longer!"

Tommy replied, "Don't let go. If we lose it now, it's gone forever!"

Tommy and Trent were struggling more to keep their hold on the shield. Tommy cried, "Gotta stay focused!"

Tommy noticed Trent was starting to collapse, "Trent!"

The shield began to shake… Trent groaned as he weakened, "It's slipping! I can't!"

At that moment, Conner arrived. He leaped in the air and grabbed the shield just as it was about to fall.

Conner landed in a crouch in front of Tommy and Trent, the shield safely in his hands, "How's that for timing!"

Trent sighed in relief as Tommy helped him up, "Never better… thanks."

Tommy was pleased seeing Conner, "You got the shield's telepathic message. It proves I was right. It proves you're ready."

Conner questioned, "Ready for what?"

Tommy explained the shield's importance, "The Shield of Triumph… only a ranger in complete sync with the universal Dino energy can handle its power."

Conner was surprised, "But when you took Trent, I thought—"

Tommy answered, "For the shield to assume full power, all rangers must contribute a part of themselves. Trent has completed his part… now it's up to the rest of us."

Conner replied, "Tell me what I have to do. Cause the Terrorsaurus is back, and we could use all the help we can get."

Trent groaned and collapsed to his knees in exhaustion. Conner quickly grabbed his friend, "Trent!"

Conner and Tommy helped Trent up. Tommy said, "I have to get Trent back to the lab. I'll make my contribution to the shield and get it to you as soon as I can."

Conner handed the shield back as Tommy asked, "You think you can hold off the monster a little longer?"

Conner raised his fist in determination, "I won't let you down." He rushed to meet back up with Ethan and Kira.

Back in Reefside, White Terrorsaurus was on top of one of the city's highest buildings and had the captive zords floating above the city skyline, "The plan is working perfectly!"

The rangers arrived on the rooftop, "Hey!" and got in defensive positions. The monster turned towards them, as the rangers pulled out their sabers, "Charge!"

White Terrorsaurus immediately went into the White Ranger Super Speed attack. The rangers groaned from the impact.

Ethan fell to the ground, but Conner and Kira quickly joined him. Conner cried, "Guys! Pull it together!"

White Terrorsaurus raised his arms and ordered, "Terrorsaurus laser!" and quickly blasted the rangers.

The rangers groaned as they were hit, and the explosions knocked them off the rooftop into the city plaza below.

White Terrorsaurus leaped off the rooftop and landed in front of the rangers, "Here I come!"

Conner summoned his weapon, "Tyranno Staff!" and leaped at the monster. He struck several blows on the monster, but it didn't even faze White Terrorsaurus.

Conner tried another attack, but White Terrorsaurus blocked the blow by just grabbing the staff. He then swiped at Conner with his powerful claws. Conner flew backwards and ended up hitting the nearby decorative plaza posts.

Ethan leaped with his Tricera Shield in hand, "Tricera-!" but was quickly swiped at by the monster. Ethan flew and hit one of the plaza trees.

White Terrorsaurus cried, "Finished?"

Kira rolled up into a crouch, "Whoa! Not even close!" She fired her blaster at the monster.

But the blasts didn't even faze White Terrorsaurus, "That tickles!" and continued to stalk towards Kira.

Kira gasped as the monster kicked at her. She managed to get up and tried to strike at the monster with her hands. White Terrorsaurus easily blocked Kira's attempts and landed a heavy blow on her back.

Kira went flying and landed in a heap in front of the nearby plaza steps. The guys quickly joined her, still struggling from the attack.

Conner asked, "You all right?"

Kira reassured as she managed to get up, "Yeah"

White Terrorsaurus raised his hands again, "How about an encore!" and blasted at the rangers again. The rangers groaned from the hit and collapsed to the ground.

White Terrorsaurus declared, "First I took your zords… now I will destroy you!"

The rangers struggled to get back up. Ethan cried, "Come on Conner! Pull it together!"

Conner growled as he pulled himself up, "I'm not going to take it!"

Ethan and Kira also managed to get up. Conner went into a defensive pose, "Attack!" and charged first.

Conner kicked at the monster, but White Terrorsaurus quickly shoved him away. Ethan and Kira joined in, but the monster quickly struck them and batted them away.

Conner rejoined the fight. He grabbed at the monster's chest spike, but White Terrorsaurus quickly broke his hold and sent him flying to the ground.

Conner groaned but rolled back up, "All right. I think it's time for Super Dino Mode!"

The rangers tapped into the power and were rejuvenated.

White Terrorsaurus declared, "It won't matter." He wasn't fazed by the rangers' power boost.

Conner cried, "Don't bet on it!"

The rangers hollered, "Charge!" and ran at the monster.

The rangers leaped at White Terrorsaurus, but the monster simply activated the lasers from his eyes, "Fire!" and hit the rangers while they were mid-air.

The rangers groaned as they fell. Conner was even more frustrated and growled, "What's his deal?"

White Terrorsaurus began to stalk forward, "Power Rangers! Let me be the first to tell you… you're doomed!"

Conner defiantly said as he got to his feet, "We're not done yet!"

White Terrorsaurus was surprised that, "Oh no?"

Back at the Dino Lab, Tommy was making his contribution to the shield. Tommy groaned in pain as the shield drained him.

Kimberly was walking in and ran to Tommy's side in concern, "Tommy!" She touched his shoulder when a pink light emitted from her. She groaned as the shield drained her too.

Tommy managed to break the connection. He grabbed at his mid-section to support himself… he then saw Kimberly was hunched over in pain.

Trent ran in and quickly went to his mentors, "Dr O! Coach H!"

Tommy reassured Trent, "I'm fine… just a little drained. I'm more worried about Kimberly right now."

Kimberly managed to catch her breath, "What happened? I think that thing drained me as well."

Trent knowingly replied, "Believe me, I know how you both feel."

Tommy revealed, "It'll be worse for Ethan and Kira. I hope they're up for it."

Kimberly asked, "Why was I drained? I have no active ranger powers… I don't even have a Dino Gem."

Brachio then spoke to Tommy, She was chosen because she is connected to you. I sensed she was a former Power Ranger, and even though she doesn't have her powers, she still has a connection to the morphing grid.

Tommy looked at Kimberly in shock, "Kim, I think you still have some connection to the morphing grid. You were the Pterodactyl, and I think you're still connected to me through our old Crane and Falcon Ninja Powers. Your strong connection and love for me had to be why the Shield chose you as a contributor, despite not having active powers."

Kimberly was surprised, "You sure this isn't a sign that I'm supposed to be a ranger again?"

Tommy chuckled, "As far as I know, there isn't another gem out there. But its nice to know that you do love me."

Kimberly playfully swatted at Tommy, "Shut up handsome." She looked at the monitors and saw the other rangers struggling, "You better get that shield to Conner. They're really struggling against that monster and need your help."

Tommy nodded, "Trent, stay with Kimberly and keep an eye on her. I know she's just as drained as I am."

Trent asked, "Are you sure you should be going in your condition? I know I'm still feeling the effects of the shield and in no shape to fight right now."

Tommy said, "I'll be fine… once the shield is in Conner's hands, it should even up the odds against the White Terrorsaurus." With the shield in his hands, Tommy headed off to join the other rangers.

At the city plaza, White Terrorsaurus sent out a shocking energy beam that quickly wrapped around Conner's waist like a lasso.

Conner groaned as he was shocked and pulled toward the monster.

White Terrorsaurus cried, "I have you now, Red Ranger!" He quickly struck Conner and ended up tossing the red ranger high into the air.

Conner groaned as he hit the nearby building and fell to the ground.

Ethan and Kira rushed to Conner's side in concern, "Conner!" "Are you all right?"

White Terrorsaurus stalked forward, "You will learn respect, my little pets." The monster was suddenly stopped by a strong gust of wind.

It was Tommy arriving on the scene, "Not so fast, vile reptile!" He quickly joined the rangers, with the shield in his hands, and planted himself in front of them.

White Terrorsaurus raised his hands, "Lasers!" and sent a strong beam at the rangers.

Tommy cried, "Not this time!" He quickly raised the shield… the laser beams struck the shield, and Tommy was able to deflect the beams back towards the monster.

The laser beams exploded as they hit White Terrorsaurus. Tommy was still weak from the shield's power drain and collapsed to his knees.

The rangers quickly ran to Tommy's side in concern… Kira cried, "Dr. O!"

While still weak, Tommy handed the shield to Conner, "Conner, you know what to do."

Conner grabbed the shield, "Okay!" He quickly got up and explained to his friends, "Kira, Ethan… I need your total trust. I need your Dino powers. Do you trust me?"

While surprised at the request, Kira replied, "I do."

Ethan always had faith in Conner and trusted his friend's abilities, "I always did."

Conner said in relief, "You won't be sorry. Triassic Power, Engage!"

Both Kira and Ethan tapped into their Dino Gems, sending a blue and yellow energy wave to the shield… making their contributions to the shield.

With Kira and Ethan's powers, the shield transformed from white and was colored in red, gold, silver, and black.

Conner's helmet now had golden wing-like tips, with a gold and black diamond in the center. He received golden epaulets on his shoulders, and the white spikes on his suit turned blue and gold with a black outline. The Dino Thunder Logo changed and looked similar to the Shield.

Kira gasped at the transformation, "Wow!"

Tommy was proud, "He did it!"

But the drain had been too much for Ethan and Kira. The two collapsed to their knees and transformed back to their civilian clothes. Even though they were still weak, they managed to get back up.

Armed with the new shield and power boost, Conner stalked towards the monster, "You're in deep trouble now."

White Terrorsaurus cried, "Bring it!"

Conner replied, "Don't say I didn't warn you! Shield of Triumph, Activate!"

Red and Gold sparks flew and transported the two away.

White Terrorsaurus gasped, "What's going on?" as he and Conner entered another dimension. "Where am I?"

Conner entered and cried, "Welcome to my world!" The two were now inside the Triassic Dimension.

White Terrorsaurus growled and sent a powerful blast at the new Triassic Ranger. Conner easily used the shield to deflect the blast.

Conner then pulled out his upgraded blaster, "Fire!" This time, Conner's blaster left a mark on the monster.

White Terrorsaurus groaned from the impact.

Conner replied, "Feel the shield!" He ordered as a powerful blade extended from the shield, "Sword of Triumph… activate!"

Conner then used the shield's new sword and struck several powerful blows onto the monster.

White Terrorsaurus groaned as he fell through a grid-like maze area of the Triassic Dimension and was shocked as he landed on a platform.

Conner easily flew through his dimension and landed on the platform as well. He continued his attack and easily landed his powerful strikes.

Conner used the Shield to land a powerful punch that sent the monster flying off the platform.

White Terrorsaurus groaned as he landed into a huge web.

Conner quipped, "Oh, what a tangled web we weave!" as the monster was effectively trapped in the web.

Conner ordered, "Full Power!" He landed two powerful strikes on White Terrorsaurus and returned them back to Reefside.

Conner replied, "Game over!"

White Terrorsaurus groaned out, "No!" and exploded into pieces, while the Triassic Ranger stood in triumph.

It had been a difficult fight, but Conner's new and powerful shield had saved the day.

The trio returned to the Dino Lab after the battle. Ethan replied, "That shield rocks!"

Kira agreed, "No doubt!"

Conner said in appreciation, "Thanks for trusting me with your powers, guys."

Ethan quipped, "It's only a loan, don't forget that." He then grinned, "And, anything to help get our zords back."

Conner said, "I just wish you could've felt what it was like. The power is amazing."

Tommy replied, "The Triassic Power was always meant for you, Conner. All you had to do was trust in yourself. Then it was easy for others to trust in you, too."

Ethan agreed, "See? All that jealousy and look how great everything worked out."

Conner felt bad on how he acted and knew he had some apologies to make, "Almost everything"

Trent walked in, "Hey guys. I'm glad that you were able to defeat that ugly monster. I saw the fight on the monitors with Coach H. By the way you should thank her as well for helping to power up the shield."

Conner was surprised, "How? I mean- how is that possible since Coach H isn't an active ranger?"

Tommy said, "I'll explain later. Is she still here?"

Trent nodded, "Yeah, the shield drained her pretty bad, so she said she was going upstairs to rest. I believe she's resting in your room."

Tommy replied, "I better go check on her." He quickly headed to the stairs leading into the main house.

Kira said in concern, "I hope Coach H is okay… I know the power drain affected me, but I know our powers helped us to recover."

Trent replied, "Coach H is a strong woman… from what I could understand from Dr. O, she still has a strong connection to the grid. But since she doesn't have active powers, I'm sure the drain was much stronger on her and she wasn't able to bounce back as fast as we did."

Conner felt bad, "Poor Coach H… I feel awful now. It's not fair she got drained while I got that power boost."

Ethan asked, "Should we go with Dr. O and help him out?"

Kira chuckled, "I think this is more of a private matter between him and his girlfriend. We better go… beside don't you still need to head to the library?

Ethan agreed, "Oh, yeah. Trent, you coming?"

Conner asked, "Actually, Trent, do you mind if I talk with you real quick?"

Trent nodded, "Sure… I'll meet you at the library in a bit, Ethan."

Ethan and Trent quickly bumped fists, as he and Kira headed for the exit.

Trent asked, "So, what's on your mind, bro?"

Conner sighed and apologized, "I'm sorry I got into your face and said you should have never been here. Seeing that clone just made me furious, and I really thought you had betrayed us."

Trent sighed as well, "Conner, I understand. But it hurt that you didn't trust me. I'm really trying to make up for all the awful things that I did while I was evil. But if I'm going to stay on the team, we need to trust each other."

Conner replied, "You're right. I know you're trying, and I'm sorry I didn't see that."

Trent held out his hand, "Hey, I forgive you. Still friends?"

Conner smiled and shook Trent's hand, "Friends." The two former rivals headed for the exit together, feeling better that they talked and patched up their friendship.

Conner headed back to the soccer field. Alexi had kicked the soccer ball towards Conner, but he quickly stopped it and tossed it back to Alexi, "Here"

Alexi replied, "Thank you"

Conner was nicer in his tone as he asked, "So, how are ya?"

Alexi didn't run away and spoke in a friendly tone, "Good. Uh, you are Conner, right?"

Conner nodded, "Yeah. Look, I just wanted to say—" as Alexi also spoke, "Conner, I just wanted to say-"

The two chuckled at that. Conner said, "You first."

Alexi insisted, "No, you."

Conner apologized, "Look, I just want to say I'm sorry about getting all up in your face back at the Cybercafe. I mean, my friends are always telling me to shut up—"

Alexi interrupted, "Please, stop."

Conner chuckled, "Yeah. Just like that."

Alexi explained, "Uh, no. It's me. Uh, my English—it's not very good. And I-I just don't think that you will understand me."

Conner realized, "So that's why you didn't want to talk before?"

Alexi nodded, "I am, uh, how you say—nervous about my English."

Conner scoffed and kindly reassured, "Dude, your English is great. Look, let's forget the whole thing and start again. Deal?"

Alexi smiled at that, "Deal"

Conner and Alexi rejoined the game, "Let's do it!" "Yeah!"

Conner and Alexi played well together. Conner made a pass to Alexi. Alexi got the ball and set up Conner to get the ball. Conner easily caught Alexi's pass and was able to use Alexi's setup to make the goal.

Conner and Alexi cheered with their friends as they won the game. Moving past his jealousy, Conner had gained a new friend and a great addition to his soccer team.

Conner learned that his hot-headed temper and jealous tendencies were better off controlled. It did not help him and caused his teammates to doubt his leadership. He had to lead the Power Rangers with confidence and trust in himself… once that happened, he became a better leader and friend. Conner still had a lot to learn, but he was maturing and beginning to learn from his mistakes.
