CHAPTER 2

Found in Pantala

Meliodas and his friends were left unconscious on the vast Pantalan savannas. Sleeping in between Cicada Hive and Hornet Hive, that was. Clay and Peril could not believe they were away from their families. But little did everyone know that there were Pantalan dragons watching in the distance.

"Blue…what's going on?" asked the female HiveWing Cricket to her SilkWing partner Blue.

"I don't know…" said Blue. "What exactly do you see?"

"...Reading monkeys." answered Cricket.

"Should we go see if they are alright?" asked the SilkWing Blue.

Cricket did nothing but walk forward. The, she flew over to the group.

"Wait for me!" Blue shouted.

Meliodas and his friends could not believe Arthur was taken away just because he killed Queen Scarlet. Then, Cricket and Blue appeared before them.

"Are you guys alright?" asked Cricket. "Are you looking for someone?"

Meliodas and Ban turned around, only to see another HIveWing. Ban grew angry, as the dragons who took Arthur Pendragon were HIveWings.

"You…don't trust u HiveWings?" asked Cricket. "I'm sorry, I'm not one of Wasp's soldiers. My name is Cricket, student at the Terrarrium Academy. Might I ask who you are?"

"We call ourselves the Seven Deadly Sins of Britannia." said Meliodas. "My name is Meliodas, the Dragon's Sin of Wrath."

"Oh, I have heard about you." said Cricket.

"So you've heard of us?" asked Ban, the Fox's Sin of Greed.

"How have you heard of us?" asked Meliodas.

Cricket responded, saying that she had heard about the war with Pyrrhia.

"You have read about the war of Britannia and Pyrrhia?" asked Meliodas. "Because Scarlet's death at the hands of one of our allies apparently left him kidnapped by a dragon of your kind. A HiveWing, I think it was called."

"...Oh, yeah, Wasp kidnapped the king of Camelot after hearing that he killed the SkyWing Queen Scarlet because she led a blitz into Britannia's lands." said Cricket.

"Well, we were brought here by her sisters." said Ban.

"...Wasp's sisters, I am assuming?" asked Cricket.

Ban nodded yes.

"Cricket, what's going on?" asked Blue.

"Ah, Blue, step forth." said Cricket. "These are the Seven Deadly Sins."

"If there's Seven Deadly Sins…why is there only two of them?" asked Blue.

"We don't know where that one HiveWing dropped the others off at." said Melidoas.

"Meliodas!" yelled Clay the MudWing. "Over here!"

Meliodas, Ban, Blue, and Cricket ran over to Clay. There, Escanor, Diane, Gowther, Merlin, King, Elizabeth, Tristan, and Hawk the pig were all assisted by Peril the SkyWing.

"Are you humans okay?" asked Cricket.

"We're fine." said Elizabeth.

"This HiveWing claims she is not on Wasp's side." said Meliodas.

"Tis but true Cricket is against Wasp." said Blue. "By the way, my name is Blue. SilkWing dragon."

"I've never seen a dragon with butterfly wings before." said Elizabeth.

"We are gentle as butterflies, young one." said Blue. "So what brought you here to Pantala?"

"They claim that their ally named Arthur Pendragon was kidnapped by Wasp." said Cricket. "From what I now know, he was the one who murdered SkyWing Queen Scarlet."

"Sounds like something cruel if you ask me." said Blue.

"Will you help us rescue Arthur?" asked Meliodas. "He's one of our allies."

"Of course we'll help." said Cricket. "But if this rescue includes fighting off Wasp, we'll need to find more dragons willing to help."

"Cicada Hive is probably our best bet." said Blue. "Luna, my sister, resides there."

"Let's see if they are willing to help us." said Meliodas.

"Meliodas!" yelled Ban. "Are you insane?! Look at how big the Hives of this land are!"

"...Seriously, Ban?" asked Gowther.

"Come on, guys." said Cricket. "Hop on the backs of me and Blue, and we'll take you up to Cicada Hive."

All the humans did just that.

"What about me?!" asked Hawk the Pig.

"Well, come on!" yelled Meliodas.

Cricket and Blue took flight to Cicada Hive with the Britannian humans and Hawk the pig on their backs. Wonders of Pantala were waiting, and so was Arthur Pendragon's rescue.
