As the afternoon sun shone brightly down on the earth, Kakashi's lecture on teamworks seemed to continue with no end in sight. Then out of no where, team 7's attention broke when Naruto suddenly sprung up from his seat on the ground. "Hang on a moment Kakashi sensei. I got to take a leak." As Kakashi sighed and noded, Naruto began walking to a bush nearby.

"Where do you think your going idiot!" Sakura yelled out. "To pee." Naruto answered without turning back. "In the bushes!?" Sakura exclaimed, "There is a toilet the other way."

Naruto turned his gaze to the pink haired genin. Why does she have to poke around in all others' bussiness. Silently Naruto grit his teeth but put a smile on his face all the same. "But thats all the way to the edge of the feild. I can't wait for that long. Besides we're shinobi, we have to learn to relieve ourselves in any situation as called for. You can't expect to have a toilet everywhere you go on a mission."

"Actually Naruto, I agree with Sakura on this." Kakashi charmed in, "You should use to toilet at least when you are in the village."

Sakura smirked and added, "Plus how can you be a good shinobi if you can't even hold it in while you reach the toilet."

Naruto didn't anwer. He turned around before they could see his scowl. And just for the trouble, he took extra long to return. When he was back Kakashi was laying on the ground with his book on his face. When he heard naruto aproach, the jounin lifted the book and gave the orange wearing genin a long stare. Naruto held the eye contact as long as Kakashi did. Then suddenly the jounin jumped up in a quick smooth motion. "Your all dismissed for today. Bye-bye." Then he threw a smoke bomb and vanshied in its cover before the genin can even say something. Naruto blinked, usually they were given leave after sunset. But he wasn't going to complain about getting off three hours early. Now he can use this time to do training, real training.

-Later in a distant training groud-

As the last few rays of sun dimmed with each passing moment, Naruto took deep breathes to recover from the fatigue. Out of the three clones he had made, two were displed. The third was remaining. The original Naruto wiped off the sweat from his brows and summon his chakra a final time, hoping to sense to location of his doppleganger. It was then that he noticed the two chakra signatures in his vicinity. And one of them was running straight towards him, from his back no less.

In the wink of an eye, Naruto spun back, withdrawing a kunai simultaneously from his back pouch. The clone jumped straight on him with its own kunai. Sparks scattered when the two kunai met. Naruto let himself slide back by the force the clone had struck him with. The clone did not stop his attack. It dove viciously onto its creator and launched a fury of kunai slashes and thrusts. Naruto either deflected or dodged the barrage, looking for an opening, which came not too late. As the clone bend its torso in front and slashed with its kunai in its right hand from the right side to the left horizontally, Naruto blocked the blow with his left arm and then twisted it around the clone's right arm before it could pull back. Then he drove his own kunai in the clone's chest and twisted it so that the clone broke apart into a cloud of smoke. A second later the clone's memories flooded into his head. Naruto fell on his butt. His chest ached a bit from the blow he had given to himself.

After he recovered his breath, Naruto made his way to a tree hidden in shadows of other taller trees around it. He looked up to an unsuspecting branch and then down to the tree's base. He opened his pant's zip and let loose a stream he had been holding back.

The tree branch shimmered for a moment then burst into a cloud of smoke. Kakashi jumped from into the air and landed behind Naruto who was still doing his business. Though once his zip was closed back up, Kakashi dropped a chop on the blond's head. Naruto turned back with a grin on his face.

"Is that the way you respect your elders?" Kakashi asked.

"Oh, I didn't even notice you were there."

Naruto's reply with a straight face made Kakashi's eyebrow twitch. The jounin sighed and said," Anyway, you done training? "

"Yeah." replied Naruto.

"Then lets have a walk." Kakashi proposed and started to walk away. Naruto followed the man to the street in silence. The sky had turned orange and street lights would soon be turned on.

Kakashi glanced over to Naruto who was walking with his eyes glued straight. He sighed. He had hoped that Naruto would speak something, but it didn't seem to occur any time soon. Now in order to talk to the boy, Kakashi had to start the conversation, something he was not too good at. "So... how do you like your team mates?" Ths jounin asked.

"Why does she call you an idiot? You didn't go to the academy as far as I know... do you know her from before?" Kakashi asked.

"Oh no, I only met the two just on the day we formed the team. But one day; I think it was the second day from the first meeting, Sasuke asked me to train with him. I declined because I had stuff to do. Sakura said I was an idiot to refuse Sasuke. Since then she calls me an idiot everytime she gets a chance." Naruto finished and looked to Kakashi. The jounin was watching him from the corner of his eye.

"Does it offend you?" he asked. Naruto shook his head. "No. But more importantly how did you know I did not attend the acedemy?" Naruto asked.

"I have my sources." Kakashi said with a smile hidden behind his mask.

"Then are you going to ask me where I got my training from?" Naruto asked.

"If I were to ask, would you tell?" Kakashi replied.

Naruto felt his tongue twitch. The root seal made it feel like a mild shock had passed through it. He rubbed his tongue on the top of his mouth to try and get rid of the feeling.

Naruto's silence was all the confirmation Kakashi needed to prove his theory. The jounin stoped walking. When Naruto turned to look back at him, Kakashi held out his hand with a thousand yen note sticking in it. "I was planning to have ramen with you but I remembered a business. But you ahead and treat yourself. Consider it a gift for your hardwork."

Naruto accepted the note but only after courteously denying it first. Kakashi waved him then shunshined away to a nearby rooftop. The hokage office was a minute away by running.
