Hi guys! I'm back with another chapter. And here, the drama for "For Good" has started! In the original story, Lily and Donnie weren't involved until this very moment, but this time, there's much more involvement with these characters. Enjoy!

DISCLAIMER: I do not own anything related to "Meet the Robinsons" nor "TMNT." I only own Karena, Lilianna, Ryan, Venus, and Athena

January 19, 2041 – Todayland, North Montana, USA

KARENA'S POV

So much has happened throughout the first three weeks of 2041. Wilbur and I announced our engagement to the family and we picked out the perfect wedding date: we are to be wed Sunday May 11, 2042, right on the day Wilbur and I had started dating in 2038. This gives us plenty of time to plan for the wedding. To my pleasant surprise, Wilbur had revealed, after I recovered from being drunk from Donnie's cherry wine, that everything was already planned out.

Tallulah, my maid of honor, had already designed my dress. And now that I am engaged, she has already started making it! My matron of honor April O'Neil Hamato had agreed to design the stationery with her artistry skills. Next in the wedding party was my best friend Lindsey who wholeheartedly agreed to help me find all of the small things that I had not thought of. Then there's Lily, Donnie and April's daughter, who had been supportive of me and Wilbur from almost the very beginning. Athena, her cousin, was to be my junior bridesmaid. Their cousin Ryan was to be Wilbur's junior groomsman. James and Randy would be joining him as groomsmen, and then Laszlo and Carl would stand as his best men. After talking to Wilbur's aunt Billie about the possibility of being a flower girl alongside Renet, Athena's mother, Billie had preferred to be what she called the 'bearer of rings.' Renet was to be the sole flower girl, and she was so ecstatic to play the role again after twenty years.

The rest of the Hamato and Robinson families had jobs in the wedding also. On the Robinson side, Wilbur's grandma Lucille was to make the cake. His grandpa Bud and uncle Fritz were two of our four ushers. Uncle Joe would simply help decorate for the wedding ceremony. Uncles Gaston and Art would make the dinner for the reception. Lastly, there's Wilbur's parents. Franny and her frogs would provide the music at the ceremony while Cornelius would play the host, as we had already decided the wedding would be held at the house and the reception at Robinson Industries.

From the Hamato side, Leo and Karai would be officiating the ceremony together. Raph and Mona Lisa were the other two ushers. Mikey would be our DJ for the reception, providing the music. Venus was to provide the flowers from her greenhouse. To the surprise of all of us, April was able to convince Casey Jones and Shinigami to join us as the artist and photographer respectively. And I saved the best for last. Donnie, who has become a second father to me, had agreed to walk me down the aisle and give me away.

For Wilbur, the start to his winter semester was smooth, as did the beginning of rehearsals for "Beauty and the Beast." I was assisting Mrs. White with the music, so I do have opportunities to help Wilbur with his songs when we are both free. He is amazing, acting as Lumiere, and I do not believe he will need much more help in acting his part out. Wilbur is also polishing his color guard skills, considering that he is the captain of the guard, so that he can freely help the freshman improve their skills. I have always known Wilbur to be an exceptional captain, whether it is in time travel or in high school. I have a lot of confidence that Wilbur will pass the trials of senior year with flying colors.

Lily and Athena also starred in the musical as Mrs. Potts and Belle respectively. So far, Athena was soaring as Belle. Her singing was absolutely perfect for the role, as she never had to belt out her notes and just sing sweetly. Athena may have her father's optimism and freckles, but she was truly her mother's daughter, also carrying around some sass. Athena had convinced her cousin Lily to accept her role as Mrs. Potts, and she was also doing very well. I had learned a whole new side to Lily as she rehearsed her lines, and this part of her revealed just why she was Donatello's daughter. I was a firm believer that she would become an amazing mother one day, for she tapped into Mrs. Potts' lines perfectly. If she needed to be sweet, she would be sweet. If she needed to be stern, then she was stern. Neither Mrs. White nor I needed to correct her on her delivery. For Lily's solo, we had to try two different versions of the song, and it was very clear she favored the 2017 version. I had every ounce of confidence this would be the best musical Todayland High School would ever produce.

For me, I was still working at Denny's in the morning, and I went to school for musical practice right afterwards, so I was always showing up in my Denny's uniform, which I do not believe anyone minded seeing. If I was not doing either of these things, I went to the Robinsons' house and asked Franny for advice on being a wife, as she has been married for almost 23 years. We also spoke some about the wedding and whether we should provide alcohol. We both were firmly against it, as Wilbur would only be days away from turning nineteen and would not be able to drink. Instead, Franny had suggested giving out mocktails to our guests desires during the toasts.

Suddenly, my phone rang. I quickly closed my journal and took a look at the caller ID. It was Wilbur… calling me at one in the morning.

"Hello?"

"Oh, thank goodness you're alive!" my fiancé clearly panicked on the other line.

"Is everything alright?" I asked in alarm.

"It is now. I am so happy you didn't commit suicide."

My head hung. Wilbur had dreamed of my killing myself. I let out a sigh before saying another word.

"Do you need me to come over?" I asked.

"Yes, please. I need to ask you something."

"I'll be right over."

I hung up and immediately went into my car and drove to Wilbur's house. I had parked in the garage. When I got out of the car, I immediately saw Wilbur running towards me and holding me in his arms.

"Oh!" I exclaimed. "The dream was that bad, huh?"

"Tell me about it," Wilbur said with a sniff; he had been crying.

"Let's go to your room and talk about it, okay? It's too cold out here."

I followed Wilbur up in the travel tube, and then we sat together on the orange cushions in his bedroom.

"So what happened in your dream?" I asked.

"You had broken up with me, told me you never wanted to see me again," Wilbur explained. "Then Donatello calls me and tells me he found a suicide note in your apartment. The three of us: Donatello, Lily, and me, had taken a portal to your apartment in Los Angeles… only to find your body. You had carried through with it."

Wilbur started to cry again, and I held him in my arms. I looked ahead to find a glass of water on his trophy case.

"Wilbur, please drink that water on the trophy case," I softly told him. "It'll help."

My fiancé nodded, got up, and walked to the trophy case to drink his water. Suddenly, we heard knocking on the door.

"Who is it?" Wilbur asked with a sniff.

"It's Mom. May I come in?"

"Sure, Mom!" Wilbur yelled.

The door opened to reveal Franny, wearing a red nightgown with her black hair in a braid.

"Are you okay, honey?" Franny asked her son.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I had a bad dream about Karena, but she's here now. I just needed to make sure she was alive."

Franny carried a perplexed look on her face, but then she brushed it off and hugged her son. I joined in the hug, both of us assuring him everything was going to be okay.

I had only gotten a few hours of sleep before my morning shift at Denny's. Just after I got off my shift at three in the afternoon, I heard my phone ringing. I got into my flying car and then answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Karena, it's Franny."

"Hi Franny! How's Wilbur? Any better today?"

"Wilbur's better. It was just a case of nightmares. We made him his favorite breakfast and his favorite lunch before he left for New York. He had training with Leo. I think he's still over there now. I'm thinking about getting him some ice cream when he comes back. Every time Wilbur comes home from training, he always complains about how sore he is."

I laughed.

"Ninjutsu is not easy. It sounds like Wilbur found his challenge. I think he'd love the idea of going out for ice cream. But why are we treating him like he's ten?"

"Hey, when you are down in the dumps, sometimes a visit back to your childhood is exactly what you need. Speaking of which, what is your go-to place to get over a bad dream?"

"Sleep," I bluntly answered.

"Besides sleeping, Karena. Is there a happy place you go to?"

"It's the conservatory. Ever since Wilbur surprised me with his promposal, I've been itching to go back."

"Well, if you ever need assistance, me and the girls will have your back."

There was a pause.

"There is actually a reason why I called. Frankie came up to me during music practice and told me the mini bowler hat that he had locked in his trunk went missing. Do you know anything about that?"

Now I was confused.

"Didn't Cornelius tell that hat he was never going to invent her?" I asked. "If so, that mini-hat should have disappeared too. It's been almost four years now."

"Frankie never opened his trunk after all this time. The hat broke out."

"I'll keep an eye out for it," I replied. "I should get home. I just got off work."

"I'll leave you to it then. If you find this hat, could you call Cornelius please? He'd know what to do?"

"I will, Franny. See you later."

I hung up and drove myself home. But when I got there, I let out a gasp. My window was broken. I quickly went inside the apartment building, took out my key, and unlocked my apartment. My apartment had been broken into, and it was a mess!

"Lizzy?" I called out. "Lizzy!"

I went into my bedroom to change out of my Denny's uniform. But I screamed when I got into the closet. My robot buddy was destroyed. I immediately got my phone out and took pictures. Then I called the first person that came to mind.

"Donatello."

"Donnie, it's Karena. Could you and Lily come to Todayland as soon as you can? Something's happened at my apartment."

"We'll be there as soon as we can."

"Thanks, Donnie."

I hung up, and then I called Cornelius, but this call went to voicemail.

"Hey, Cornelius, it's Karena. So I have an emergency in my apartment because one of my windows is broken, the place is a mess, and my robot is dead. Can you come o—"

I groaned in pain as I felt something hard landing on my head. I ended up dropping my phone. Suddenly, I knew what I needed to do.

LILIANNA'S POV

Shortly after Karena's call, my dad and I went through the portal into Karena's apartment. I let out a loud gasp at the sight. It was a mess!

"Who could have done this?" I asked.

"I don't know," Dad answered. "But we're here to investigate. If we need Uncle Raph, we'll call him. Right now, let's try to find anything out of the ordinary."

I noticed a broken window, which meant that Karena's apartment was broken into. I examined the kitchen and living room while my dad went into the bedroom. From everything I saw in here, there was no evidence on who would have broken in.

"Lily! Come here!"

I followed my dad's voice to the bedroom, which was not as messy as the living room and kitchen. But the closet door was open. The robot Karena kept in her apartment was destroyed.

"Lizzy clearly got dismantled," I said with a sick feeling in my stomach. "Like, took her heart out or something. Someone clearly has a grudge against Karena."

"Look!"

My dad pointed to the floor where we found… Karena's cell phone, now with cracks on the screen. We glanced at each other before hearing the front door opening and closing.

"Karena, is that you?" Dad asked.

"Who's there?!" Wilbur asked angrily. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

"Wilbur, it's us!" Dad yelled pleadingly. "Donnie and Lily!"

"Oh, Donatello!" Cornelius exclaimed.

Dad and I ran back into the living room, carrying Karena's phone with us.

"What are you doing with Karena's phone?" Wilbur asked with bewilderment.

"We just found it on the floor," I answered.

"That's not like her to just leave important things on the floor," he replied, scratching his head.

"Is Karena anywhere in the apartment?" Cornelius asked.

"No, we couldn't find her," Dad answered. "Karena gave us a call because someone had broken in, but we never saw her when we came."

I decided to use Karena's phone to my advantage. It was unlocked. I looked through her call list. Her last two calls were to my dad and Cornelius."

"I figured something was wrong when I received the longest voicemail message I ever had," Cornelius explained. "It's like someone cut her off."

"So it's possible Karena's been kidnapped," Dad replied.

I also glanced through Karena's text messages, and her last texts were from Wilbur. Lastly, I looked through her photos. The last photos she had taken were of a dismantled Lizzy!

"Dad, show Wilbur and Cornelius her robot," I told them. "I'm gonna try to get into her mind to find out what she saw."

"This way," Dad told the father-son duo.

I sat on the couch and meditated, trying to get into Karena's mind. First, I heard Karena screaming as I got into her mind, but I heard another type of screaming too, a female voice.

"Karena, what happened to you?" I asked in my meditation.

Thankfully, I was still able to enter Karena's mind without hurting her, and I started looking at things from her eyes. I saw her entering her apartment after returning home from her job. I saw the mess from her eyes, and I saw her walking into the bedroom, and opening the closet to find Lizzy's heart missing. I watched her calling my father, and then she called Cornelius. Just as she tried to leave him a voice message, I screamed, feeling lots of pain in my head.

"I must find Cornelius Robinson," Karena had said. "He killed my mother, so now I will kill him!"

Then Karena left the apartment the same way she came in and made her way to Robinson Industries.

WILBUR'S POV

My dad, Don, and I examined Lizzy closely, and I found similar markings on her. I felt anger coming to me.

"The Bowler Hat Guy," I said out loud.

"The who?" my dad asked with a perplexed expression.

"Lizzy was killed by a bowler hat," I explained. "Just like the bowler hat that tried to ruin your life, Dad."

"But how did you know that?"

"I watched Carl getting killed when we tried to help Lewis back in 2037 before I became nonexistent. Trust me, the markings are the same."

"But, Carl's alive," Dad replied in confusion.

"Obviously, something went wrong in the timestream," Donatello chimed in. "Shouldn't this robot have gone extinct because you said you weren't going to invent the helping hat?"

"Yes, it should have," Dad answered.

"Now, wait a minute," Don said, waving his hands around. "Say this helping hat was to be passed by the board of inventors. What would it have done?"

"In a past life before Wilbur and Goob intervened in time travel, I had tried inventing a helping hat. This hat, while it would be stylish, would help a person brush their teeth, fix their ties, clean their ears, and so on. But something went wrong. The hat had tried to control this person instead, and my tester had tried to attack our coworkers! I thought shutting it down would work, but Doris survived it and served with Goob to destroy my past."

"Come to think of it, Mom was asking me if I had seen a bowler hat before I left for New York," I chimed in. "I wonder if these two situations are related?"

"But that's impossible," Dad replied. "This hat should have vanished when my past self told Doris I was never going to invent her."

"I'm sorry to say that it's totally possible," Lily suddenly said from the doorway with a panicked look on her face.

We all turned to face her.

"What do you mean, Lilianna?" Dad asked her.

"I just saw what happened through Karena's eyes," Lily explained. "Something is controlling her. I not only heard Karena screaming at first, but there was someone else screaming with her. And I remember the last words Karena said before she left: I must find Cornelius Robinson. He killed my mother, so now I will kill him."

"Dad, you're the target!" I said with fear in my voice. "And that must have been that mini-hat Mom was talking about."

"Karena was heading for Robinson Industries," Lily continued. "She must think you're there."

"I left immediately and called Wilbur over," Dad replied. "So, if Karena discovers that I'm not there…"

"Then she's probably heading for…"

I paused, gulping at the realization.

"Home."

"We need to find a way to get your dad away from home, Wilbur," Lily sternly told me. "I can confront Karena at the house."

An idea sparked in my head.

"Dad, why don't I show you my job? You've always wanted to see me work."

"That is true, and I did promise your boss you'd be there. Let's go."

"Dad, I'll need some backup," Lily told him.

"Lily, let me try to help Karena first," Don assured her. "She'll listen to me."

"I don't know, Dad. What if she doesn't recognize you?"

"We have to try. Now let's go."

DONATELLO'S POV

I waited outside in the driveway for Karena to venture to the house while Wilbur distracted his dad. Lily was in the garage in case I needed her help. It did not take too long for me to spot a familiar white flying car heading my way. Karena parked in front of me, and then she jumped out. She wore a yellow dress that she would normally wear to her job at Denny's, but I also noticed she wore a strange-looking bowler hat on her head, worn to the point where her green eyes were not to be seen. The eye on the hat was red. I immediately recognized the hat as Cornelius's failed helping hat project.

"Where is Cornelius Robinson?" Karena yelled angrily at me.

"Karena, listen, it's me, Donnie," I tried telling her. "You don't want to hurt me."

"If you don't tell me where Cornelius is, then I will hurt you!" Karena yelled again.

"I do not know where he is, but please don't do this Karena. I love you."

"Liar!"

Karena gave me a hard roundhouse kick to the stomach, and I groaned in pain, feeling myself stagger back and then falling to the ground.

"You have learned," I told her. "I can tell. But you will not defeat me."

Karena walked up to me and put both her hands on my shoulders.

"Where. Is. Cornelius?"

"I am telling you the truth," I replied, not revealing his location. "I do not know."

I put my left hand on my T-Phone, feeling ready to let Lily know I needed her. Karena pulled her right hand back, ready to punch me. I hit the button on my phone, and then I dodged out of the way of Karena's punch, feeling very thankful I had rested enough. I watched Karena walking up to me again. I drew my bo staff, preparing myself to fight her.

"Don't do this, Karena," I warned her.

Karena yelled and charged at me.

"Hey!" I heard Lily yelling from the garage door. "Leave my father alone!"

Karena turned towards her and then screamed.

"You are the one who tried to get into my mind!" Karena screamed.

"Yeah, I am," Lily replied bluntly, holding one of her fingers up with sternness in her voice. "You will not harm anybody."

"Well, I want to hurt you," Karena replied.

"You can't hurt me, Doris," Lily shot back. "Not only can I read minds, but I can read Karena's moves too. So give me your best shot!"

I watched Karena charging at my daughter, and to my amazement, Lily had dodged every single move Karena could throw at her. While Lily was dodging Karena's moves, I noticed her hands moving also, as if she was trying to take off the hat. After she dodged another move, Lily gave Karena a roundhouse kick and sent the latter flying. Karena landed right in front of me, so I tried removing the hat. Unfortunately, Karena noticed and did a headstand kick, her feet landing right underneath my chin. I felt myself flying in the air, and then I landed hard on the ground. I looked around to see Lily was no longer in my sight, and I felt myself passing out.

LILIANNA'S POV

When Karena kicked me back towards the garage, I knew she was too strong for both my dad and me. I decided to head on over to Wilbur's room to try to use his chargeball glove to knock the hat off of her. I also used this to my advantage to call Wilbur's mother.

"Hello?"

"Franny, it's Lily. Is there anyway you can check on my dad outside the garage? We found Karena with the bowler hat fighting him. I tried fighting her, but she's too strong."

"Where are you at now?"

"Wilbur's room. I want to see if his chargeball glove will work in removing the hat."

"Don't try that! If you use the glove to take the hat off, it could fry Karena's brain! I'll meet you over there."

"HI-YA!"

I screamed as Karena threw a punch behind me. Thankful for my instincts, I dodged out of the way only for Karena to throw a punch so hard it damaged the wall. Thankfully, it did not take long for Franny to show up and join us in our fight.

"Karena!" Franny yelled. "Snap out of it! It's me, Franny!"

Franny had no chance against Karena in her state. Just like that, she threw her future mother-in-law a punch in the shoulder, and Franny was on the floor.

"Franny!"

I rushed over to her side to help her, but she shook her head.

"No, Lily, I'll be fine," Franny assured me. "Hold Karena down. You've got the muscle for it. I'll try to take the hat off her."

"But your shoulder may be dislocated."

"I don't need my shoulder to do what I'm doing. Now go!"

I stood up and looked towards Karena, who was unsure of where anybody was.

"Karena, over here!" I yelled.

I used my ninjutsu skills to my advantage as Karena ran towards me. I ran on the damaged wall and did a spinning kick, hitting her on the hat. We both screamed. Karena landed on her knees. I landed on my feet, but almost fell because of the pain on my left foot. I had screamed in agony, but nonetheless, I was able to hold Karena down.

"Use your powers, Lily!" Franny encouraged me, also holding Karena down.

I placed my hands on the hat and tried my hardest to pull it off. Karena, Doris, and I all screamed as I tried my hardest to pry the hat off. I eventually pulled the hat off with all my strength, and the hat scurried away like the Kraang have in those videos Uncle Mikey would show me. I then heard a whoosh! sound, and I saw my dad emerging from the travel tube with a weary stance.

"Are you ladies alright?" Dad asked.

"Dad, you're hurt!" I exclaimed.

I tried to get up. But when I tried landing on my left foot, I screamed in pain.

"I may be hurt, Lily, but I'm a doctor," Dad told me sternly. "Let me help you."

"Donnie, I'll need you to look at my shoulder too," Franny said. "I can't move it."

"Well, I think my shell was knocked loose when I fought Karena," Dad replied.

"Please let me help you with that before you look at us, Dad," I offered. "Please, turn around."

My dad slowly turned around, and I put my hands around his waist. I closed my eyes, concentrated, and then said a chant.

"Rin. Pyo. Toh. Sha. Kai. Jin. Retsu. Zai. Zen. Rin. Pyo. Toh. Sha. Kai. Jin. Retsu. Zai. Zen."

I continued to meditate and chant until my dad's shell was back in place. When that happened, he had felt stronger than he had in quite a while.

"Ah, that feels great," Dad said with a voice of content. "Thank you, Lily."

"Dōitashimashite," I replied.

"Now, I heard you crying in pain when you tried to walk, correct?"

"Yeah, I kicked the hat, but I had no idea it was that hard."

"And Karena punched me in the right shoulder," Franny chimed in.

"I may be able to help you with your shoulder," Dad replied. "But I might need some help."

"I'll help," I offered. "I just can't walk."

"Come on over by the cushions," Dad suggested.

I crawled myself up onto one of the orange cushions. Franny then sat right in front of me, and I held her around the waist.

"Alright, Franny, I'm going to bring my left foot and place it underneath your armpit. I'm then going to pull to see if I can place the shoulder back in its place. It is going to hurt. Do you need me to lend you my mask?"

"No, I'll be fine," Franny answered. "I've been in worse pain than this, trust me."

"Alright, here we go."

Franny screamed as my dad pulled on her arm. Thanks to Franny's back being against me, I felt the shoulder being place itself back into its socket.

"Okay, now I'm going to need to put your arm in a sling," Dad explained to her.

"I can have Carl grab something," Franny replied. "Let me page him really quick."

Franny took out a portable microphone and spoke into it.

"Carl, could you come to Wilbur's room with a sling of some kind, please? Thank you."

"Now, Lily, let's take a look at your foot," Dad said.

Franny stood up and moved out of the way, holding her right arm in place. I stayed in the cushion while my dad crawled up to me.

"Okay, I'm going to massage your foot," Dad told me. "Let me know if it hurts."

Upon the first rub, I yelled in pain. Dad had a strange look on his face.

"Lily, I'm going to hate saying this, but your foot is definitely broken. We need to get you to a hospital."

"Wait, what about Karena?" I asked.

"We'll need to take her there, too. She's unconscious. Let me call Wilbur and Cornelius back. I think it's safe enough for them to come back."

WILBUR'S POV

My dad and I received a call from Donatello saying that Lily and Karena were both being taken to the hospital. When I got off work, we both rushed right on over. While waiting for the reports on both girls, my mom had told me about her dislocated shoulder, which was now in a sling thanks to Don's quick thinking. Donatello's shell was knocked loose and Lily's healing mantras put it back in place.

Now, my parents and I were waiting with Donatello to hear from the doctor or nurse regarding Lily and Karena. Karena was unconscious due to her being under Doris' control. My dad had learned that Michael Yagoobian was not responsible for Doris this time. Lily, on the other hand, suffered a broken left foot, which worried me more, considering her roles in the musical and on the cheerleading squad.

My thoughts were interrupted when the nurse came out of Lily's room.

"How is she?" Donatello asked.

"Lily is going to be fine," the nurse answered. "We just finished up her surgery. As you are aware, Dr. Hamato, broken bones usually take a few months to heal."

"With all due respect, ma'am, Lily's the captain of the cheerleading squad," I replied. "And she has a part in the musical."

The nurse let out a sigh.

"I'm sorry, Dr. Hamato, but your daughter won't be able to cheer for the rest of the school year. Doctor's orders. As for the musical, is her part important?"

"Mrs. Potts," Don answered. "The musical's in mid-March."

"We are requiring Lily to be on crutches for at least a month," the nurse explained. "We will require her to return to this hospital so that the doctor can take a look at her foot. If the healing is going well then she will be cast in a boot. If all goes well, she may be healed by that weekend."

"So there's hope?" Wilbur asked.

"Yes, for the musical."

"I guess that means Lily will be guiding her team on the sidelines," Don replied sadly. "Poor Lily."

"I know," I replied. "She loves cheering, and she's the best cheerleader on the squad. I can't imagine how she must be feeling right now. May we see her?"

"Yes, she is awake. But only two of you, please."

"We'll go," Don replied.

Don and I walked into the room to see Lily and her left leg lifted up in a sling hanging from the ceiling. She turned towards us with a smile on her face.

"Hey, Dad," she said softly. "Hey, Wilbur. How's Karena?"

"We don't know yet," I answered. "But how are you doing?"

Lily suddenly started to cry.

"I just needed to look at my leg to realize my cheer career is over."

"Lily Mae, sweetie, shh, listen to me," Donatello tried to soothe her. "It's not over. It's just put on hold. You'll heal up in no time, and you'll have the rest you need for next fall."

"And what about my part as Mrs Potts?" Lily asked, still with tears in her eyes.

"The doctor thinks you'll be healed just in time," I answered. "I think right now, you should take the time to memorize your lines."

"Excuse me, Wilbur?"

We all turned towards the door to see the nurse.

"Karena's awake."

"Wilbur, go," Lily encouraged me through her tears. "Dad can stay here with me."

I left Lily's room and went next door to Karena. She was awake, but she looked rather confused.

"Karr? Are you okay?"

Karena turned to look at me, looking more confused as ever.

"Who are you?"

"What do you mean?" I asked with shock in my voice. "I'm Wilbur Robinson, your fiancé!"

"I'm sorry, Wilbur, but I don't remember you."

"Nurse!" I yelled.

"I don't even remember my own name," Karena continued with a sad voice.

"Is everything alright in here?" the nurse asked as she came in the room.

"Karena has amnesia," I replied sadly. "She doesn't remember me."

"Miss Edwards, do you remember who you are?" the nurse asked.

"Apparently, my name is Karena Edwards," Karena answered with sass before pointing to me. "And his name is Wilbur Robinson."

"Of course, the one time I need Lily's help, she's incapable," I grunted angrily. "Can you get me Dr. Hamato from next door, please?"

DONATELLO'S POV

"We'll discuss all of this with Uncle Leo, okay?" I assured my bedridden daughter. "It will be alright."

"Dr. Hamato?"

I turned around to see the nurse at the door again.

"Wilbur would like to see you."

I gave my red-haired daughter a kiss on her forehead.

"Try to rest now, okay?" I told her, and she nodded. "I'll be right back."

I walked out of Lily's hospital room and entered Karena's.

"Is everything alright, Wilbur?" I asked the teenage boy.

"Karena has amnesia," he answered while on the verge of tears.

With worry, I cautiously approached the bed.

"Karena, it's me, Donnie. I want to help you remember."

The young brunette woman turned to look at me... and she screamed!

"It's a monster!" Karena screamed.

"Karena!" I yelled sternly. "It is okay! It's me, Donatello Hamato! I am your friend!"

"Karr, it's okay!" Wilbur yelled with me. "He's a doctor who has a psychic daughter. They both can help you."

"Wait, I have evidence that we're friends!" I yelled again. "Hold on!"

I grabbed my T-Phone and frantically searched for a picture of me and Karena. When I finally found one, I did not hesitate to show it to her.

"Karena, look. Do you recognize yourself in this picture?"

"Hey, yeah!" Karena yelled in reply. "That's me. Is that you, Donatello?"

"Yes, it is," I answered with a smile, not as loudly as before. "From what it sounds like, your memories are trapped in your cerebral cortex. The good news is, it's not impossible for you to gain all of your memories back."

"Dr. Hamato is right, Karena," the nurse assured her. "You are in good hands. Doctor, may I speak to you?"

I followed the nurse out of the room, where we also met up with Cornelius and Franny.

"How is she?" Franny asked.

"Karena has amnesia," the nurse explained. "She can't remember anything. However, she recognized herself in a picture Dr. Hamato showed her. So there is hope."

"I'd like to visit Karena often to check on her if that's alright with you both," I chimed in.

"Do you think Lily can help?" Franny asked.

"Yes, I think Lily would be the most qualified to help her. But she is also recovering from injuries. She has a broken foot, which means she can't cheer at all for the rest of the season."

"Poor Lily," Franny replied solemnly. "Will she be alright?"

"She's distraught right now, but she's usually in high spirits," I answered with a grin. "I'll betcha she'll be back to her normal self soon."

LEONARDO'S POV

I meditated as hard as I could in the dojo to try to help Karena, wherever she was at. I must have meditated for hours, because I had woken up to find the lair quiet. I walked out of the dojo and found my family watching cartoons on the television. I looked to my left to see the lab door opening, and I watched my brother Donnie emerging. I walked over to him with a smile on my face, which disappeared once I saw his frown.

"Is everything alright?" I asked. "Where's Lily?"

"May I speak to you alone first?" Donnie asked in return.

"Sure."

Donnie followed me back into the dojo and we sat on the rugs.

"Lily discovered that Karena was under the control of a Doris helping hat," he explained. "Lily, Franny, and I were injured trying to fight her and take the hat off her. I had my shell knocked loose because Karena was too strong. Lily healed that with her healing mantras. Franny dislocated her shoulder, so I was able to place it back. Karena now has amnesia."

"What about Lily?" I asked.

"Lily broke her foot and is spending the night in the hospital. We've already told her she couldn't cheer for the rest of the season."

"Which means Lily can't go on patrols," I finished his thought, shaking my head. "This is very grave news. Let's have a family meeting."

Donnie and I gathered everyone, minus Lily, into the dojo.

"Thank you all for meeting with me," I told my family. "Uncle Donnie had returned with some news that you all should know about, and this will change how we train. Lily now has a broken foot, which means she is not able to train with us nor go on patrol with you."

"And Lily is the leader, too," Ryan replied. "Could I be the leader?"

"Why should you be the leader?" Venus asked. "I'm stronger than all of us combined. It should be me!"

"Venus de Milo, remember that pride comes before a fall," Raph reminded her.

"I'm with Lily all the time," Athena pointed out. "It should be me!"

"It doesn't matter who the leader is," I pointed out. "What matters is that your patrols are a success. I may even have Wilbur join you to take Lily's place."

I began to wander around the dojo.

"Leo, what are you thinking?" Donnie asked.

"April, will you be my guide?" I asked my sister-in-law.

"Sure!"

"Aunt April will go with you on patrol tonight. Ryan, you are the leader. Venus will lead tomorrow, and then Athena after that. If we are to help Karena and Lily, we need to work together."

"Wait, Karena?" Venus asked. "What's going on with her?"

"Karena has amnesia," Donnie explained. "It's going to sound crazy, but she was under the control of a hat, and the damage she obtained while fighting me, Lily, and Franny was enough o damage her brain."

"Would meditating help Karena out?" Ryan asked.

"Maybe," I replied with uncertainty. "It's certainly something we can try. But, if there's anyone that can help her the most, it's Lily."

LILIANNA'S POV

I was discharged from the hospital this morning and I was given a pair of crutches to help me move. Karena, although all she could remember were her own name, Wilbur's name, and my dad's name, was also discharged. Wilbur was going to pick both of us up at the hospital, and then my dad would meet us at Wilbur's house.

Karena and I emerged from our rooms at the same time. But Karena started walking ahead.

"Karena, wait!" I yelled.

Frustrated that I couldn't run, I hobbled over to her as fast as I could on my crutches.

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" Karena asked me with bewilderment. "And why do you only have three fingers on your hands?"

"I'm your friend, Lily Hamato. I'm Donnie's daughter."

"Who's Donnie?"

I smacked my head. This was already going to be a long day.

"My father. Donnie is short for Donatello."

I let out a sigh before I continued talking.

"Okay, we're going to take things slow. Would you like some help navigating around the hospital? Wilbur's waiting for both of us."

"I guess I could use the help," Karena replied with a smile.

"Do you remember anything at all?" I asked.

"I wish I did," she answered with sadness. "And I'm scared."

"Hey, I'm scared too," I replied. "I never thought I'd be on crutches after all this time, and here I am on them. I have a broken foot."

"What happened?" Karena asked as I pushed the button for the elevator.

"Well, it's probably a good thing you don't remember what happened. I injured my foot fighting you."

"Fighting me? What do you mean? I don't think I'm that capable of breaking someone's foot on purpose."

"Oh, don't worry!" I replied in a panic. "My foot wasn't broken on purpose! It was an accident. It happens."

We got out of the elevator and found Wilbur waiting in the lobby with a smile on his face.

"How are my two favorite girls doing?" he asked us.

"Wilbur, right?" Karena asked.

"Very good! Now do you know who the girl standing next to you is?"

"Lily Hamato, Donatello's daughter. I only know that because she told me. Just like how you told me your name."

"That's actually fair," I chimed in. "After all, a relationship starts with an introduction, and this starting new memories. But the fact that you have retained that knowledge is a good sign. Maybe my dad was right to have hope."

"Speaking of your dad, he's at the house waiting for you."

"Let's go then!"

"Operation: Karena's Memories is a go!" Wilbur yelled as we walked out of the hospital and into his blue flying car.
