Chapter 136 Darkness and Despair/Blade's Truth.
On Earth everyone in Royal Woods are watching the destruction of the Team Maelstrom estate as they don't seem too be concerned about me or how I'm feeling
Sophia: There's the end of the Maelstrom saga.
Alexa: What do you wish to do now?
Sophia: I'll go around and tell the truth to everything Blade lied too you all about.
Kotori: You are?
Sophia: Yes. Every lie he has told was to make him seem like he was a god when he was only a fool amongst us.
Sophia looks at what used to be the Maelstrom estate as she knows that even though I have failed twice she knew more of my secrets which I could do nothing about as she calls Omni and the katana flies into her hands
Sophia: What did Blade say when he said the truth?
Lincoln: That Grace, Annahbelle, Lily, Beck, Johnny and Austin all betrayed him when they created the first universe.
Lola: Then we heard more versions of the story.
Lana: We don't even know which one to believe in.
Alexa: Tell us what he said?
They recite the words I said to them word for word to them as Sophia looks confused
Sophia: What he said was half true. About the first time he told the truth but creating the first universe with them is definitely a lie.
???: Sorry too interrupt but I overheard a conversation concerning truth about matters that involve my brother so I made haste and came as soon as I could.
Alexa: You're brother? What do you mean by that?
???: Oh Lexi you grew too be so perfect.
Alexa: Lexi? Wait...Leah?
Leah: You caught on quick sister.
This caused Alexa's eyes to widen and everyone else to look shocked because they heard that our sister died
Lincoln: So your Leah Zero?
Leah: Yes I am. And you must be Lincoln one of the many children my brother adopted.
Lincoln: One of many?
Leah: Yes in fact there's many things that he doesn't tell too anyone no matter the cause.
Nonon: Like what?
Leah: Well Blade was betrayed yes but not how you would think.
Lynn Sr: Wait what's that supposed to mean?
Leah: It means that...(sighs) let me take you back many many many years ago back too where Blade first was a Dragon God for the planet that's been flooded.
Narrator: 50 zillion years ago.
We see me wearing torn armor as I talk to the planet's leader
Me: You want my help with what?
Max: To help stop our planets flood.
Me: But your the...Pri..me King of this planet.
Max: I know that but there's only so much I can do to stop this.
Me: Why...me?
Max: Because we heard praise from your late sister on how awesome you'd be.
Me: You have?
Max: Yes I have and she sounded so happy to speak about you. I'm sorry for your loss.
Me: ...I'll do it.
Max: Huh?
Me: I'll be this planets god. I'll stop the flood on Planet Rukka.
Max: Thank you so very much!
Max takes me as he shows me around Rukka and its people that lives here before taking me to a castle and then a bedroom fit for a god or goddess
Max: Good night my lord.
Me: Night.
Max closes the door leaving me all alone and I look out the window too see Rukka's beautiful buildings as I smile and my expression immediately changes to one of nervous
Me: (in my head) Why did I take this? I already have a promise made with "father". When will he take his plan into action? It must've been many of years since our last talk and I don't know when he'll strike or when he'll be able too stop it. So eternal...how much longer must I hold this up?
I look back out the window and in my head I see the water levels rising higher and higher as I shake my head and get some sleep before I wake up with a jolt 2 hours later and I see that I'm in a pitch black realm as I leave the bed and walk around before seeing a memory of Leah's "death" and I saw that it was Grace who had done it as I grab my head and instead of an angered look I gain a scared look as I try to remember what Grace said to me and it was a stray blast that killed her and I'm met with another memory of my past as I see me getting kicked off Planet Bahamut and I look and see that everyone besides Leah was celebrating as she flies after me and Alexa does not follow her and the same for Kaila as I try to remember my more positive times yet I'm only met with a more darker memory as I'm met with me getting verbally abused by Beck and Austin before a sword falls on top of me which causes me too wake up and I look around scared before I start to cry as I try not to let my progress fail
Me: (crying) I w-w-wil-will not lo-se my progress on (sniffle) keeping everything and everyone alive.
I look outside the window as I see that the sky of Rukka has changed from its dark blue night sky to a red sky as I look to the ground and see some kind of beasts destroying everything as people get eaten and ripped apart by these beasts as I see that I'm paralyzed from my fear as I see the water levels rise before I wake up and look out the window and see that everything is normal as I shake my head and leave the castle that I'm in and go for a walk as I see that the water levels are fine and everything around me is not destroyed
Me: What's happening with me? Why can't I just be normal for once?
I walk for 30 more minutes before going back to the castle and sitting back in my bed watching the night sky as it changes to morning and I hear screaming as I hurriedly look out the window to see that the water levels has risen and I saw 4 people be dissolved by it as I don't know what to do as I look down to avoid watching if the water goes higher
???: Oh this...is surprising.
Me: "Father?"
"Father": Re..member I gave you some of my pow-er so people will not jud..ge you on being a god.
Me: Oh yes I forgot.
"Father": Try to use it in the future.
Me: Thank you.
I don't hear "father's" voice anymore meaning he left
Me: Try to use his powers. Got it.
I try too reverse the water and it's effects on the people as I only make it worse as it dissolves 50 more people
Me: No!!
I wait till everything dies down and I go out in public and see that everyone is looking sad by what had happened on Rukka and I try too think of a solution on what to do only to get interrupted by a citizen
Random Citizen: People let's meet our new Dragon God that'll help stop the prophecy of our planets flood.
Everyone goes to the Court House awaiting my arrival
Narrator: Present time.
We see my former team and Sophia and Leah all sitting at picnic table's as Leah sighs
Alexa: Is something wrong?
Leah: I just...(sighs) I just feel something's wrong with Blade. Wherever he is.
With me
As I float around I feel my power slowly becoming stiff as I also sense a huge beast swimming towards me as I don't do anything about it
On Earth
Leah: I hope your ok brother.
Lily Itsuka: Can you finish the rest of dads past?
Leah: Of course I can.
Narrator: To Planet Rukka's time.
We see me standing in front of all of the people in the Court House as I start to wonder what to say and what to expect from the people as I clear my throat and look up
Me: (in my head) What do I say to the people? How does a god even sound like? (Out loud) Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the Court House on Planet Rukka. Now this may be my first time ruling a planet as a god but I'll say that being able to ascend into godhood like this is an honor. But I'll do my best and together we can stop the prophecy. So if you have any ideas or questions please don't hesitate you can come up to me or reach out to me at anytime and thank you all again. (In my head) There that should do it right?
Confused Audience Member: This is our new god? He doesn't even know anything!
Angered Audience Member: Aren't you supposed too be assertive and authoritative?
Annoyed Audience Member: Wanting our help? Why would he even ask that?
Me: (In my head) Was that not what a god says? Maybe I could try this next. (Out loud) People! (Laughs for some time) you think that I Blade Zero you're Dragon God of Everything would even act like that? I had to see if you all wouldn't be fooled into thinking that anyone could be your god. But I will stop this prophecy and will bring peace to Rukka for eternity! Do I have to go on? (Laughs)
Excited Audience Member: Ah there's our god!
Everyone claps for me as I smile and look at them all
Me: (In my head) So that's how I have to be? I see now. (Out loud) People put your applause on hold as you can see I'm not finished just yet (everyone stops clapping and listen to me again) I'm here to be your leader and that's what I'll do. I'll lead everyone and I'll make sure that I'll bring joy to your life and by joy I mean not only stopping the prophecy but also destroying your boredom with shows within this Court House! Planet Rukka you'll be struck by lightning by my magnificence as I bring a smile to my peoples faces! Now for our first show let me create the name. Hmm...yes that'll do. For our first ever play let me introduce the name of it. "Blade and the end of the Dark Ages!" (Giggles)
Everyone claps while giving me praise as I smile
Me: (in my head) There that's what I want to do. Let's see how long I can keep this up.
Through the entirety of the next week I'm looking over my planet and now I'm currently talking with one of my people as I'm laughing
Confused Person: Huh? Wait what's funny?
Me: Your problem! You didn't need too waste my time if your problem was as simple as creating a deal with your neighbor.
Confused Person: But how would I? If our problem involves someone that's in charge?
Me: Well your problem is a fence. Isn't it half an inch into your yard?
Angered Person: Yes yes it is! That's why I'm here talking with you!
Me: Well since it's half an inch does it really matter? It's not gonna intrude any of your yard activities right?
Person: Oh you're right.
Me: That's why I'm your Dragon God. Now you won't get a punishment from me, your neighbor or anyone else. Besides yourself.
Confused Person: You mean a penance!?
Me: Yes now begone. Shoo shoo.
The person leaves the room as I'm left alone
Me: Ugh! This is so boring! There's nothing entertaining! When's that show I gave the title too, gonna come out? Has it even started preparations?
I go towards my desk and see the massive amounts of paperwork on them as I nervously chuckle and pick them all up and bring them to Max's office
Me: Monsieur Max there's more paperwork for you to do!!
I start to head back towards my room as I tell everyone that all my paperwork goes straight to Max and not me and once I reach my room I go straight to my desk and pull out a piece of paper and start drawing on it and once I'm finished I pick up the paper and hang it on one of my walls with all my other terrible drawings
Me: I'm an amazing drawer! (Giggles) Now to see what's happening on this planet. Let's start off with the Court of Palais.
I walk out of my castle and walk towards the Court of Palais and I get stares filled with happiness and I even get praised as once I reach the Court of Palais I see that there are auditions to "Blade and the end of the Dark Ages!"
Me: Ahem! (Everyone looks at me) Now I know that auditions tend to take some time but not this long!! So what's happening?
Play Manager: Well uhm Lord Blade we want too tell you that we kinda maybe probably sorta started auditions 30 minutes ago.
Me: So while I was waiting patiently for news you started 30 minutes ago!?
Play Manager: Well we just wanted to write a script to it.
Me: A whole week for a script? Is it even finished?
Play Manager: No.
Me: What?
Play Manager: It takes time to write a script. As we're doing auditions our script writers are working hard.
Me: Ok I'll wait patiently until the release but when I get bored you better finish in a week you got it?
Play Manager: Yes I do.
Me: Good! Very good. Now since there's nothing left for me to do I'm going to watch court trials at the Court House to see if there's anything fun over there. Bye bye!
I run towards the Court House and once I make it inside I go to the very top floor and go to my throne that's above everyone else including the Chief Justice and only Justice of the Court House and I take my seat as Max the Chief Justice runs many many trials as I zone out until I hear him speak of another trial
Max: Now will the defendant of trial 40,361 take to her spot and the prosecutor take his?
I see the defendant and prosecutor each take their respective stands
Me: (in my head) This is going to be another theft or needing someone to move their pitchfork to their lawn. Boring!
Max: The trial of The Great Murders Cases may now commence.
Me: (in my head) The Great Murders Case? The case with several murders this is interesting now!
Max: Mrs. Thorn you say that you have no correlation towards this case right?
Mrs. Thorn: Yes. How would I someone who stays inside all the time and barely leaves their home be convicted of such a heinous crime?
The audience starts to murmur about this and how the prosecution can refute her statement
Max: Mr. Smith do you wish to refute her statement?
Mr. Smith: Of course why else am I here not knowing if Mrs. Thorn was the one behind the constant murders?
Max: The floor is yours Mr. Smith.
Mr. Smith: Ladies, Gentlemen, Chief Justice and Lord Blade one week ago 30 men were killed by a random female as you all know but what you don't know is that Mrs. Thorn was the one behind it all. Here's something that I noticed the night the first murder took place. Someone in all black wearing the same clothing as the killer was wearing left her house now before you start thinking on how it could be a coincidence but even if it is and she's not the killer she still has connections to the culprit.
Everyone besides Max, me and Mrs. Thorn start to whisper to each other
Max: Order!
Everyone shuts their mouths and look back up at Mr. Smith
Mr. Smith: Now where was I? Oh yeah Mrs. Thorn is related too the murders because why else would she have her own records in her house?
Mrs. Thorn: Now how the hell do you know that!?
Max: Mrs. Thorn language.
Mrs. Thorn: Sorry your honor but how would you know I even have my own records in my house Mr. Smith?
Mr. Smith: Remember when you invited me over for a cup of tea? I saw something interesting and decided to look at it and judging from what I saw you also have many crimes on your criminal record as well.
Mrs. Thorn: Sure I may have committed multiple crimes but they were minuscule, small, tiny whatever word you want to describe insignificant crimes. So what do you wish to do with this knowledge you picked up on me?
Mr. Smith: Well I may have somehow stumbled across something that really caught my eye. To be honest it took me some time too actually realize. (Smiles) Ladies and gentlemen we all miss our church deaconess/priestess so very much.
Audience: Yes we all do. Rest in Peace Mother Jones.
Mr. Smith: What is I tell you that Mother Jones is still alive and is the very one to commit these horrific atrocities?
Confused Audience Member: Huh?
Confused Audience Member 2: Wait what?
Max: Now hold on for one second. What are you implying right now Mr. Smith? Are you saying that Mrs. Thorn is Mother Jones?
Mr. Smith: No no Monsieur Max. What I'm saying is Mother Jones never really had died.
Max: Now I'm confused how could she not have died? We all saw her get pushed down.
Mr. Smith: That we did. But we never caught who pushed her and where she landed did we?
Max: Yes you're right we never did see a body or the culprit who pushed her.
Mr. Smith: Exactly my point proven. Mrs. Thorn said to herself once in the church that she would gain vengeance on the world and she would avenge what she has lost.
Satsuki: Now hold on.
Back in the present time
Satsuki: Aren't you going off topic here?
Leah: Oh yeah. Sorry I was just retelling everything that I saw.
Sanageyama: So did you see anything else? And how did no one see you?
Leah: Yes I saw more. No one saw me because I blended in with the people. Now if you wish too know about what happened to Planet Rukka well my memory is a little fuzzy about it but this is what I can tell you.
Narrator: One year after Mrs. Thorn was locked up for being involved with The Great Murders Case.
We see me running away from people after I was insulted and I continue to run until I see a small house and I take a quick glance and then I go inside
Me: This is a small storage unit. Hmm guess this was gonna be used soon but I just need to wait here till they all calm down.
I lay down and take a nap for 30 minutes and I get woken up by people talking
Me: Huh?
I sit up and see I'm in the defendant stand of the Court House
Me: What the? Am I in the Court House?
Max: The trial of Blade being a real god is now underway.
Me: What!?
I stand up and go to the edge and immediately look up at Max
Me: Max I can't believe what you said!
Max: Am I supposed to take that as you plead guilty?
Me: I plead not guilty. But do you really believe them?
Max: Yes I do. And I believe in my own judgement as well now stay there as your trial is going.
I gasp as I see that Mr. Smith is the one in the prosecutor stand
Mr. Smith: Still shocked Blade? Well how bout you realize that this is real and not a dream.
Me: Why?
Mr. Smith: Because you've done nothing to stop the prophecy. It's only grown to be a bigger problem! The people with the lower homes, the homeless all are dead! Because you don't want too stop it...is the reason you became our god is because you wish to see our suffering while you're unharmed by it?
Me: No no no!
Mr. Smith: Then do something about it!! Do something about this prophecy!
Me: What do you expect me too do?! I don't know we don't know what kind of water that's dissolving everyone!!
Mr. Smith: You should've figured it out by now if you cared!
Me: I do care! That's why I'm investigating on which water it is.
Mr. Smith: Why didn't you say something?
Me: (in my head) Why didn't I say something? Oh yes! (Out loud) I didn't say anything because of you common folk! If you found out what I'm doing then you all would flock to me for answers when I had none yet. Besides it's not like I need to tell everyone about my personal life do I?
Mr. Smith: Well we just want to be protected. We don't wish to pry into your personal life but you're decisions are questionable to us we may not be of any rank of divine beings but we have divine protection from you don't we?
Me: Yes you do.
Mr. Smith: Then act on the matter tell us everything you know. This is very serious and you're playing it off as something that's not even remotely serious at this point. We wish for the people's safety that's all.
Me: Up until last month everyone could trust me but you decided to rebel against me and you started s rebellion that's caught onto end my reign on this planet. And you expect me too find whatever water is causing this but I'm still trying to get answers. Besides I don't even know how this whole prophecy situation started and you expect me too solve it? Why don't you tell us how this prophecy started?
Mr. Smith: I..I...don't even know myself we weren't told anything only that a prophecy will cause the end of our planet not even the royal family knew what the causes is.
Me: See? We don't know the history behind it yet you want me too just solve it with no knowledge of it make it make sense Mr. Smith.
Max: I perhaps can bring some light into this since I am part of the royal family.
Max snaps his fingers as multiple guards bring in one stone with multiple pictures on it in a horizontal order with the first picture being someone with a staff creating the people and the second being the people looking up into the sky at a floating island on their knees the third one looks very worn out as the only thing that could be seen is someone sitting on what looks like to be a throne and the fourth and final one is very very worn out but I'm able to make out that it's someone jumping into space
Max: This huge stone represents the prophecy. And as you can see the last two pictures are worn out and it's very hard to depict them. This is all that the royal family knows.
Mr. Smith: (whispers) This stone...I've seen this somewhere before...wait! (Out loud) Your honor there's something I need to address with you right now in front of everyone?
Max: Oh? Prey tell what are you talking about?
Mr. Smith: You've had this kept hidden ever since the prophecy first was heard right?
Max: Well according to my ancestors yes we have.
Mr. Smith: And now you finally reveal it? At a trial that has total value on how our whole planet will end up...you, your ancestors and everyone else who knew about this must've wanted our planet too be destroyed right?
Max's eyes widen as I look between both Max and Mr. Smith
Max: That person that created us was someone of your ancestors and must've been the same person who created that island that oh so fell once we overturned his judgement as a god and he died in front of us then many years later as his royal family was extending he was waiting for a god to take control so you could step down from the almighty throne and focus on the court trials as you build up the power that he once possessed and you didn't tell anything of this to Lord Blade who decided to put a front on us all and wanted us to remain calm and blissful as he was trying to find a way to stop something he couldn't control. Maybe just maybe you-
Max: That's enough.
Mr. Smith looks at Max as his hair covers his eyes and he looks down
Max: I had no intention of wanting Planet Rukka to be destroyed. I had no intention of giving my first generation ancestor his power back. I had no-
Me: Shut. It.
Everyone looks at me as I look down at my feet hiding the tears that are in my eyes and I ball both of my fists
Me: You decided not to tell me any of this? You could've helped me get rid of this prophecy! You could've told me and I would've had a much better time with this! Yet you didn't tell me anything you only made me feel like I was failing this beautiful planet!! Is this your game? Grabbing people who wants too help you only for you too turn your back on them? Is it? HUH!?
I look up at Max as there's tears flowing down my face and Max looks down before looking back to me and when he opens his mouth there's a sudden rumble as we all take a look around as a guard runs in
Guard: Lord Blade! The water it's rising!!
Me: What!?
Before I can say anything else the floor beneath the lower levels of the Court House starts to get filled with water as everyone down there runs around in a panic as the water increases as everyone moves to the second floor and through the front door the water bursts open as it flows throughout the entranceway and up the stairs dissolving many people and the water rises to where it takes the first floor and second floor before rising up again dissolving Mr. Smith and not me as I'm underwater and the water rises till it reaches Max as he's dissolved as well and I teleport above the Court House and see that the whole planet is covered in water as a throne appears and I sit down on it and I start to cry
Me: (in my head) Why me? Why was it I who had ti suffer? Don't I suffer enough?
I stand up off my throne and I jump down into the water as I see a robot dog sitting alone as I swim towards it and I hug it and after a while I jump into space leaving the planet as the robot dog dies
Narrator: In present time.
Leah: And that's what happened.
Everyone looks down as they can only imagine the pain that I had to go through trying to keep Planet Rukka only to fail and my last companion to be a robot dog and before anyone can say anything they all feel a rumble as a portal appears as it makes the sky crack and a huge narwhal flies out with its skin being changing between light blue to dark blue and pink and the armor on its face and horn is a dark sliver color and several stars all over its body as it goes towards Royal Woods as Leah jumps up and lands at the border and she creates several fire orbs and fires them at the narwhal as it flies up before going back down and goes to eat the entirety of Royal Woods but through the portal the narwhal came out of someone runs up and jumps out of the portal as their surrounded by black and purple full body armor with the claws being purple and the eyes are shining dark purple as the person looks around and sees the narwhal before launching themselves at it and kicks the narwhal in its mouth as the narwhal flies up and Leah fires more fire orbs as it sticks to its body and the person lands right next to her before jumping back at the narwhal and landing on top of it and slicing its skin as the fire orbs explode at the same time before the person jumps up connecting a rope to its tail and the last fire orb explodes and the person throws the narwhal back through the portal as it slowly closes and the person flies above the portal and fires constant blasts at it before they shake their head and look towards Leah and putting a thumbs up before changing it to a thumbs down and falls through the portal as the portal is near fully closed
Leah: Was that?
Leah jumps after the narwhal and the person as she's able to make it before the portal closes leaving everyone surprised
Alexa: You guys saw that?
Lori: I literally couldn't see what happened besides a portal opening and closing.
Rita: That's all I could see as well.
Sophia: Well I'm pretty sure some narwhal appeared and went to eat Royal Woods and I saw Leah jump to defend it but she couldn't then this person appeared...that's all I saw.
Alexa: I saw that exact same person attack the narwhal as Leah helped and then the person threw the narwhal back into the portal and the person fell and Leah went after them?
Sophia: Say umm.. you don't think that-
Sophia is interrupted by Grace, Annahbelle's and Lily's appearances
Lily: We sensed something huge here.
Annahbelle: Was it some kind of narwhal?
Grace: Tell us what you saw?
Sophia and Alexa tell them what they saw as Secret remembers something
Secret: That narwhal if I was able to get a second look at it I could confirm it.
Grace: Do you think it could've been?
Secret: Yes it was.
Secret and Grace: The Cosmic Devouring Narwhal.
Qrow: What's that supposed to be?
Grace: Well it was Leah's pet that lost control once she "died".
Sophia: Wait how did she even survive though?
Grace: Well after Blade and everyone else disappeared I made sure that I did not hit Leah in any of her vitals and I healed her a little bit before leaving. Now back to what happened.
A portal appears above them as Leah jumps down with the person in her left hand and a cosmic orb in her right hand
Leah: Found him...and killed the narwhal.
She places the person down and the armor around the chest and stomach disappears revealing that this person is indeed a guy and his chest and abs are all very veiny and very defined with him having a 200 pack
Leah: If I'm right then he is.
The armor fully disappears revealing me who's knocked out and I'm only wearing ripped cargo pants with my boots
Leah: Blade must've been fighting the narwhal for a long time and was on the brink of his own death. I killed the narwhal by stabbing it in both of its eyes then I fired a water blast through its head and it turned into this orb.
Goody walks up to me and examines my body and my pulsing scars and wounds
Goody: His body. He was not fighting by Earth years.
Lincoln: What's that supposed to mean?
Goody turns around to look at him
Goody: That he was fighting this narwhal for what seems to be 2,000,000 eons.
Alexa: Oh my.
Lily Itsuka: Isn't an eon one billion years.
Annahbelle: yes it is now...I...I just can't believe he's been fighting this narwhal for that long and I'm guessing without any breaks and no help.
Lily: If he fought any longer would he be able to withstand it...but why did he even fight that narwhal in the first place?
Leah: Well it's my brother and he must've realized how power it was and wanted a good fight and to take its power but he wasn't expecting it to put up a good fight...yeah it could have a human form so that's one of the reasons but he was able to hold his own anyway. Can't believe I had too kill my pet.
As everyone starts to talk to each other I start to open my eyes and I see that my eye sight is damaged but I'm able to see short to medium range but I see long and farther but it's only a blur and my hearing is not at its best but I'm able to hear voices in a 5 feet radius and whispers
Me: What...happened?
Everyone looks at me and sees that I'm trying to sit up as Goody and Tohka helps me
Me: Thank you. What even happened to me?
I look around as everyone doesn't know where to start and before they could say anything I immediately pass out
