Michael Westen used to be a spy until, well you know that part of the story. Here’s the part where Michael is a father of sorts, a husband to Fiona, and reuinted with Sam and Jesse, up to their old rescue missions.

Some of the most interesting stuff never made it on the screen. Here's my take on what happened during some big chunks of off-screen time. The relevant episode number is in the chapter title. Each chapter stands alone; you can read them in any order.

Something has gone very wrong in Michael and Fiona's happily ever after. Please note that I'm changing the story rating to T out of an abundance of caution. Note: This will be a multi-chapter fic. I'll update as often as I can.

Set right after Season 7 Episode 10 "Things Unseen," after Michael is forced to kill his old friend, Roger Steele. Sam is increasingly concerned for Michael's state of mind, and decides to do something about it.

After a lifetime of avoiding relationships, Michael reaches a decision regarding his future with Fiona, with a little help from Sam. Missing moment during the episode "Bloodlines."

Set during Forget Me Not, Michael tries to deal with the left turns his life has taken since his deal with the CIA.

"Without us looking after you, do you have any idea of the hell that will rain down on you?" When Management threatened Michael that hell would rain down upon him without an umbrella, what he hadn't taken into account was that Michael had been dodging raindrops all his life.

From the Episode Double Booked: Michael: "I joined the military when I was 17. My dad signed a form. He couldn't wait to get me out of the house." Madeline: "I signed the form. I forged his name. He would never let you go into the military, Michael" Michael "Why?" Madeline: "Because I knew if you didn't leave, you'd end up in jail. Or worse."

In between the events of the Season 6 finale and "New Deal," Michael builds a cover in the Dominican Republic and loses himself in the process.
