We can't let any villain get away with the Tablet. We need to find Agent Carter and set things right!

Ozpin's Office, Beacon Academy. New Vale City. (1 Day Since The Convergence)

Professor Ozpin is relaxing in his office reading a Daily Bugle article for the first time in his immortal life. It talks about Spider-Man and how he's to blame for the Convergence, a lie that the old warrior easily sees through from knowing of Jameson's seething bias for the webslinger. Nonetheless he finds it an amusing read to drink hot cocoa with, passing time until the maskless Wolverine enters his room for a mysterious appointment. "What do you want, Oz? I'm busy." The rude X-Man announced his presence.

"Ah, Logan. Glad you could make it. I see you got my message from Qrow?" Ozpin greeted, putting down his cup and paper as the mutant stands before his desk.

"Yeah. You think I know something that can kill Salem. Have a clue what he was babbling about?" Wolverine snarked.

"This." Ozpin turns on his Scroll, asking, "I assume you have heard of this weapon? Rumor says it is entangled with your legend.", whilst handing him the device that shows him a picture of an enigmatic blade that is colored a mystical red.

BGM-Tekken 5 OST-Neonatal

Wolverine's stern glare at the image was enough to confirm the professor's suspicions. That this X-Man is totally familiar with this immortal legend. "The Muramasa Blade. The Immortal Ending." Logan recognizes the legendary sword, "'Course I heard of it. Damn thing was forged from a piece of my soul."

"A mystical weapon that can cut through almost anything. Reduce the efficiency of a superhumanly fast healing rate. The only blade in any world that can kill even you." Ozpin described what he knows of the Muramasa Blade.

"And you want me to give it to you to murder your ex?" Logan snarked, casually tossing the Scroll back to the headmaster.

"It would be poetic." Ozpin said, catching the Scroll effortlessly before reminiscing his tragic past, "My death as Ozma is what spun her into madness and be cursed by the Gods. 'So long as this world turns, you shall walk its face'. That was the curse cast upon her. My immortal mission was to reunite humanity and use the Relics to summon the gods back so they could restore our magic. Make my world whole again. But if Salem can divide humanity beyond repair, and bring all four Relics together, she believes that maybe her curse will be broken. The Gods will rule against us and destroy Remnant, once and for all."

"But the Convergence already destroyed Remnant. Either that did the trick or proved her theory was shit." Logan commented.

"The Convergence has definitely weakened the Gods' influence. Though still plentiful, the Grimm are not as abundant as they were on Remnant. I suspect Salem is suffering the same effects, making her far more susceptible to the Muramasa Blade's abilities." Ozpin claimed.

"There's no guarantee it'll work. Even if I wanted to give it to ya, I can't. The Convergence broke it into fragments." Wolverine said, stating the Muramasa Blade has shattered.

"Then all hope is lost." Ozpin frowned.

"Stop being dramatic. I know its scent better than anyone. I'll find them and put 'em back together for you in no time." Wolverine snarked, deciding to help Ozpin's secret plan in ending his immortal ex-wife.

Grateful for his assistance, Ozpin smiles, "Thank you, Logan. I am forever in your debt."

"Whatever." But while Logan heads for the elevator, he has one last warning to tell the headmaster. "But ya miss one tidbit. The Muramasa Blade can drive you batshit nuts. The longer one wields it, the greater its murderous influence becomes over the host. Sure you wanna take up that curse against your ex?" He asked him with a stern over-the-shoulder stare.

"If it comes to that, do what you do best." Ozpin responded with no hesitation. Just a serious look of his own that requested his own death by Wolverine if he becomes corrupted by the Muramasa Blade.

Acknowledging his request by putting on his mask, Wolverine grunts, "Fine.", before exiting his office.

Mistripoor.

Hightown is the neighboring district to Lowtown. Like the exact opposite of that neighborhood, Hightown is a wealthy and glamorous and indulgent metropolis with a lavish and active nightlife. Not a bad place for anyone that wants to visit. Nu-13 doesn't look like she cares. She just stares at humans having fun on the streets with an emotionless face from atop her rooftop, minding her own business as she monologues about her next action.

"Energy levels optimal. All systems have adapted to dimensional convergence. Now resuming primary objective: Terminate the Dimensional Avengers and the Masters of Evil. Then I can fuse with him." Nu proclaimed cryptically, having a personal reason for targeting the heroes and villains of this world. Her sensors then pick up something in the neighboring district, "Targets detected in Lowtown. Approaching unknown development."

BGM-Marvel Future Fight OST-Hydra Infiltration

The commotion that Nu detected is a SHIELD Agent fleeing from several Iron Hydra Agents. She sports a white bodysuit and speed to evade the numerous bullets fired at her direction. She finds cover for a brief moment to kill her pursuers with her pistol before resuming her retreat from the shurikens of an Iron Ninja. Acrobatically, the blonde SHIELD Agent wall jumps to a rooftop where she is forced to defend herself against a horde of her enemies. She takes out one with a sliding spinning kick and takes out another with a seamless backflip attack, then whips out dual pistols for spinning cover fire from lunging ninjas before focusing her firepower on an armored Hydra footsolider until they collapse. She resumes her retreat, from rooftop to rooftop, until she is stopped again. Surrounded by four Hydra helicopters that have their searchlights targeting her.

"Nowhere left to run!" A Hydra Pilot taunted her.

Determined to remain defiant, the blonde agent points her gun at him. Death does not scare her. It's failing her mission that expresses an ounce of worry. Lucky for her, reinforcements arrive starring a certain Webhead quipping, "Lemme show ya where you can park that.", and webbing the rotor of a helicopter and forcing it to crash. A Buster shot from a Maverick Hunter and an ice blast from a Schnee Huntress take out two more helicopters, leaving the last one that fires a missile at blondie to be blocked by the unbreakable shield of Captain America, who proceeds to throw and have it slash off its blades and force the screaming Hydra Pilot to crash his ride. Rogers catches his shield, just as Iron Fist, Heihachi, and the Dimensional Avengers regroup with him to greet the famous SHIELD Agent they just saved.

"Steve!" She happily smiles at him.

"You okay, Sharon?" Steve smiles back, recognizing her to be Sharon Carter, also known as Agent 13. Legendary niece of Peggy Carter and Captain America's girlfriend.

"You know it'll take more than a few Hydra flunkies to stop me. You still suck for showing up late." Sharon joked, sharing a passionate hug with her lover.

"Sorry. We just had trouble pinpointing your location." Steve chuckled.

"How did you all find me?" Sharon asked the united heroes.

"With a combination of my all-seeing eye, his Spider-Senses, and Heihachi being a surprisingly effective interrogator." Palutena quipped, gesturing at both Spider-Man and Heihachi.

"This is my kind of town. Didn't take long for those Hydra punks to spill the beans." Heihachi grinned.

"Right." Sharon snarked, not taking her answer too seriously. "I assume Woo sent you to extract me? I appreciate the assist, but I'm too busy to leave now." She told them.

"Does this involve the Lifeline Tablet? We heard it was sold off to The Hand." Ruby said.

"Yeah. I learned that the Hand has taken it to their tower here in Lowtown. Over there. See it?" Sharon points everyone to Hand Tower not far from their position. A massive and foreboding pagoda-like hideout that is illuminated by several paper lamps and has many Buddhist statues standing near it.

"Yeah. So that's their base of operations." X spotted the Hand's hideout.

"Not very inconspicuous for a ninja hideout." Amy joked.

"What exactly does the Hand plan to do with the Tablet?" Lucina asked the SHIELD Agent.

"Same thing as Hydra if they get their hands on it: Take over the world by destroying the competition. Gorgon's a killer with eyes that can turn you into stone and a sword that can slay gods. Imagine all of that amplified with an army that can strike from the shadows. We'll be in serious trouble." Sharon explained the Hand's master plan with the tablet.

"Lady Palutena mostly. This guy sounds like he wants to become the next Medusa." Pit remarked in concern for his goddess.

"I'll be fine, Pit. As long as we prevent them from unlocking its power." Palutena assured him.

"How can they? Last I checked, you need a scientist to understand the biochemical formula inscripted on the thing." Spider-Man commented.

"Probably planning to use their mystics to do the job." Iron Fist believed.

"One of them being Walter Naugus. Didn't think he'd become a ninja after escaping prison. He's too goofy for that." Sonic quipped.

"We gotta move! Heard Hydra is planning to raid their base before I blew my cover! Neither of them is allowed to get away with the tablet!" Sharon rallied her new team.

Just then, Blake's cat ears perk up upon hearing the ominous sound of something from the distance. The sound is getting louder and louder. The sound of loud stabbing stomps as it approaches their general location, prompting the other heroes to take startling notice as well. "What was that?" Tails exclaimed, startled into taking flight.

"Something big and mechanical! And it's heading straight for the tower!" Blake responded, focusing her senses in trying to deduce what is coming.

Heihachi is the first to find the source of the noise, and the first to express shock when he points his allies at it, "Over there! Look!"

"Ah nertz…" Spidey joked, feeling outsized and intimidated by what they are all staring at.

BGM-Marvel Future Fight OST-The Hand

It is a Hydra-Bot. An enormous tentacled vehicle with a skull-shaped head that is marching straight for Hand Tower. Countless civilians run screaming to the hills to get out of the way of the massive war that's about to begin. The Hydra-Bot comes equipped with multiple guns, including an extremely large one from the top of its head that fires a massive energy beam that damages the tower. It also comes equipped with Hydra Dreadnoughts. The creepy humanoid androids are deployed by the dozen to support the imposing ground forces of the Iron Hydra Empire, all led by the terrifying trio of Madame Hydra, Crossbones, and Iron Queen.

"We have come for what is rightfully ours! Surrender it to us or fall with your tower!" Iron Queen shouted with a threatening smile, commanding the Hydra-Bot to hit the tower with another blast.

That last attack was felt by the Hand warriors stationed at the rooftop garden. One of them being Walter Naugus holding the Lifeline Tablet before he tripped and fell in humorous fashion. "Tell them to stop that! I can't start the ritual with all this racket!" Naugus complains at his two superiors standing on the edge of the roof.

Elektra ignores the troll with a scoff, staring down at the Iron Hydra Army with a fearless look like her mutant master. Gorgon, the blindfold-wearing Scarlet Samurai that refuses to surrender neither the Tablet nor Mistripoor to his rivals. "I will deal with the nuisances shortly. Begin the ritual. Elektra. Stay here and prevent any more interruptions." Gorgon ordered both his wizard and assassin with a frighteningly calming demeanor.

"Yes." Elektra acknowledged.

With a silent yet commanding gesture, Gorgon orders his massive Hand horde to jump from the shadows of the rooftop to land in the light before their hideout. The Hand Master is the last to join his forces in confronting the Iron Hydra Empire. Gorgon unsheathes his Godkiller blade, right before Iron Queen smirks whilst pointing her staff at him. It is The Hand versus the Iron Hydra Empire, with the ultimate prize being the immortal power for complete global domination. Triumph or die, the Battle for Mistripoor has begun.

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order OST-Planet in Peril

Civilians panic and flee past the United Heroes that are running toward the massive war. They are stopped by fires growing out of control and the sight of the massive Hydra-Bot blasting Hand Forces. "I can't believe they brought in a giant freakin' robot! I'm not the only one seeing a giant freakin' robot?" Naoto exclaimed, freaking out from this bizarre battle.

"It's a Hydra-Bot. They're taking this too seriously. They're going to destroy Mistripoor just for the Tablet." Sharon scowled.

"I'll go hold it off. You guys figure out the rest." Sonic volunteered, speeding off alone to do battle with the Hydra-Bot.

"Sonic! What is he thinking?!" Naoto shouted at the reckless hedgehog.

"You'll get used to it." Amy quipped.

"We need to create a perimeter! Can't let this war spill out of this area!" X ordered the team.

"We'll split up into two teams! I'll lead one to nab the tablet! Cap, you take care of everything else out here!" Spider-Man suggested.

"Good thinking! Let's make this quick! Avengers Assemble!" Cap shouted.

"So we can disassemble." Yang snarked while they continue racing toward the battlefield.

Unbeknownst to the heroes, Nu arrived on a nearby rooftop to spy on her targets. "Found them." She proclaimed with the same emotionless tone as always. That changes for just a brief moment, expressing genuine shock upon catching a glance of Naoto. "This feeling…I feel Ragna amongst them." She claimed, before deciding to follow this weird feeling.

BGM-Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 OST-Hand Hideout (Medley)

Bullets fly and swords swing as the turf war between the Hand and Iron Hydra escalate into deadly proportions. A Hydra Soldier fires his blaster at a Hand Ninja that threw a smoke bomb to counter the blasts with a sneaky killing slash. Shurikens from Iron Ninjas are deflected by shurikens from Hand Ninjas. Try as they might, the Hand's archers fail to harm the Dreadnoughts that are pummeling their forces with laser eyes. Neither faction has an upper hand in this war. A good opportunity for STRIKE to jump in and challenge them for the victory.

A single Spin Dash from Sonic topples the Hydra-Bot enough to distract Hydra forces from being rammed through by the fierce martial art prowess of Iron Fist and Yang fighting side-by-side. "Go, go!" X shouted at Spidey's team, covering their entry into Hand Tower with a Special Weapon Rush consisting of Sonic Slicers and Boomerang Cutters. A Shield Slash from Captain America disarms many from both enemy camps of their weapons, all while the roaring Knuckles lifts and hurls a Dreadnought to crush a startled Hand horde.

"STRIKE is here!" Madame Hydra noticed in annoyance, while in the midst of battling Gorgon.

"Good. You can all bear witness to my ascension that will remake this godforsaken world." Gorgon retorts as he continues his duel with Viper.

The mutant samurai launches a dashing sword slash that Viper narrowly backflips away from. In midair, she throws toxic darts that her opponent parries at speeds so fast he leaves afterimages during movement. The two were evenly-matched when some heroes decided to interrupt, starring Agent 13 kicking Madame Hydra back when she wasn't looking. Gorgon senses a strategy targeting him, using telepathy to find Pit flying and ready to attack with his Aurum Orbitars. He leaps at the angel and destroys his weapons before they can be used, then roundhouse kicks the shocked hero into a building. Blake fights him next, tricking him to attack her clones in order to reveal an opening for a counterattack. But despite being blindfolded, the Hand Leader can still see through her tricks with the same telepathic senses and immediately catches the real faunus and overpowers her with a brutal sword face smash.

Meanwhile, Jin and Captain America were working together keeping this fight away from civilians that need time to evacuate the area. Someone throws a bomb at Steve's shield, who throws it in the air so the bomb could detonate safely away from people. But that was just to distract him from Crossbones striking him in the back and causing him to smash through several tables. "Captain!" Jin shouted in concern, quickly engaging and losing to the mercenary that smacks him near his ally.

"Time for our rematch, Kazama! I've been waiting for this!" Crossbones taunted, recalling their last fight at New Vale.

As Jin gets back onto his feet, Crossbones strikes him down again before trying to stomp Rogers to the ground. The Avenger evades it and the two brawl with martial arts that is pushing Rumlow to the losing end. "Come on!" Rumlow throws multiple punches that is evening the odds. He fails to land a final crippling blow against the captain, prompting a headbutt that stuns Rogers and a powerful punch that sends him flying backwards. Crossbones refuses to stop and continues swinging hard punches against his enemy, which Cap struggles to block. Taking full advantage of the situation, Crossbones pins his rival against a wall, taunting him with, "You're not making this any fun. Such a shame.", before unveiling a hidden blade in his gauntlet. However, Cap avoids the blade that was going to impale him in the face and leave it stuck into the wall, trapping Rumlow's arm. Jin returns to grab him with a Pivoting Hip Throw that knocks him to the ground to be axe-kicked by Steve then kicked away by the fearsome Kazama in seamless succession.

"Go home broke, Rumlow! Money will be useless once we take down your employer." Rogers taunted the mercenary.

"I got paid in advance. Wanna see?" Crossbones then does something unexpected. Suddenly his face is engulfed in flames as he expels energy from his mouth with destructive force that sends both his enemies flying until they crash onto Hand ninjas.

"A Cross Art." Jin realized with an irritated frown that the Hydra Mercenary unlocked his own crossover power. The simple power of energy blasts.

"You goody two-shoes ain't the only ones that can get this. I don't need guns anymore. I AM a gun!" Crossbones retorted, spewing out another energy blast.

"You always were. But I still have a shield." Cap snarked, deflecting the blast before and Jin continue duking it out with the laser-spewing terrorist.

Nearby, Sonic is still in the midst of battling the giant Hydra-Bot. Its tentacles are big enough for the little hedgehog to run up at supersonic speeds and dodge its numerous defenses, until he is struck and halted by the surprise lightning beam from a flying Iron Queen. "What do you think you are doing?" Iron Queen scolds him for interrupting her plans again.

"Destroying your giant toy." Sonic quipped, returning to his run.

"Never." Iron Queen uses her Magitek to summon several missiles from the Hydra-Bot's hidden compartment. "This is a token of friendship that I accepted from Hydra's leader when he proposed an alliance between our two empires. You will not wreck it with your juvenile heroics." She proclaimed, commanding the missiles to attack her nemesis.

"He? Thought Madame Hydra was the leader." Sonic noted whilst evading her missiles.

"Just a second-in-command. This man is quite a charmer." Iron Queen smirked, hinting of the Iron Hydra Empire's true leader.

"You are not loyal to Iron King at all." Sonic quipped, reflecting one missile to strike the startled queen before damaging the Hydra-Bot further with another powerful Spin Dash.

Inside Hand Tower…

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order OST-The Grip of The Hand

A giant web fist blows away the Hand ninjas guarding the lobby as they are replaced by reinforcements. Spider-Man leads a group consisting of himself, Tails, Amy, Ruby, Weiss, Lucina, Palutena, Naoto, and Heihachi in storming the tower to reclaim the Lifeline Tablet before its power is unlocked for evil purposes. "We must hurry. I sense a mystical ritual has begun on the tower rooftop. If completed, well, let's make sure that doesn't happen." Palutena informed the party.

"Get into tag teams. Heihachi, back up whoever needs it. Nothing's stopping us from reaching that roof!" Spider-Man ordered his team.

"With me here you won't even have to lift a finger!" Heihachi claimed arrogantly.

Shurikens are thrown at Heihachi with all of them missing except for one that is caught by his impressive teeth. "Fall to hell!" The Iron Fist King then dashes at two Hand Sentries to appear inbetween them with his electrifying somersault, knocking them high and having them fall into their own Lightning Hammer before suffering a Dragon Uppercut together that ends with being smashed to the ground by a laughing Lightning Hammer.

Hand Tower is tall. About 50-stories infested with countless Hand warriors that would gladly give up their lives if it'll stall time for the mystical ritual to be completed. The heroes climb the building either by stairs, elevators, or blowing holes through the ceilings. At Floor 23, deadly Hand Archers from vantage points unleash a storm of arrows that Lucina evades with an impressive series of flips that distracts them from Ruby blasting them down with her sniper rifle, so her princess partner can come crashing down from her flips with an electrifyingly powerful overhead sword slash that rids the archers. Female Hand Assassins are quick attackers skilled in ninjutsu, with one of them being faster than Weiss as she struggles to conjure a glyph. Her speed is countered by Tails's trickery with his Big Hand invention, erupting a large gloved hand from underground that flicks the assassin aback to be taken down by Weiss.

The fighting didn't get intense again until Floor 35. Spidey arrives as suddenly as him dodging a sword slash from a Hand Blademaster perfectly, ensnaring him and several fellow ninjas with webbing for Naoto to beat on with ease. The Webslinger continues to impress by disarming another blademaster of his weapon and proceeding to assault an entire horde of ninjas with powerful high-speed blows to their body's weakpoints.

"Impressive fighting style. What do you call it?" Heihachi asked, impressed by Peter's fighting prowess.

"Spider-Fu. I'll give ya a taste if you betray us." Spidey snarked, easily knocking down two goons from opposite sides with a double elbow strike to their faces.

"Ha, I might to test your skills against Mishima Style. Looks to me you're pulling your punches." Heihachi chuckled.

"I don't want to kill anyone." Spidey retorted, defeating another ninja with a fast spider-like three-hit combo.

"Can't defend the world if you hold back." Heihachi argued, pummeling a ninja of his own with his signature Flash Punch Combo.

"Stop being the worst grandpa in history and I might consider it." Spidey snarked.

Nearby are a couple of Hand Sorceresses showing off their mysticism against the Amy and Palutena combo. Palutena blocks a chi-powered punch from one Sorceress with her mirror shield swiftly before Amy hammers the ninja away. Another unveils her prowess in Blood Magic by casting a ball composed of her own blood at her enemies, forcing them to evade. "They know Blood Magic? That's sinister! Amy, keep your distance!" Palutena commented with a shocked scowl.

The Light Goddess follows her own advice by flying around and attacking sorceresses from afar using Autoreticle and Explosive Flames but it's not enough. A hidden Hand Archer surprises her with an arrow that knocks her down from the sky and into the thralls of seven Sorceresses that combine their Blood Magic to slowly drain her health away. "My body…They're controlling me…draining…" She grunted, collapsing onto a knee whilst struggling to save herself.

"Palutena!" Amy shouted in concern but can't help her after being struck down by another Sorceress's chi. That punch caused her to also drop her tarot cards, making her shout, "My Fortune Cards!", before she recollects them. One card she picks up depicts a ninja about to strike. Which is coming true, triggering a dimensional-powered reaction between the startled Amy and her now-glowing cards. The hedgehog jumps away from the ninja's attack and more. To her surprise, Amy finds herself floating thanks to her Fortune Cards spinning around her, "Did not see this coming."

"Amy, your cards…!" Tails expresses his shock at her new power.

"How am I doing this?" The confused Amy wondered.

"You must've discovered your Cross Art. It has unlocked your potential to infuse objects with magic." Lucina realized.

Quickly taking advantage of this new, Heart Charge, Cross Art, Amy crushes the ninja that attacked her with a Card Stomp. She goes on the offensive against the Sorceresses draining Palutena dry, throwing her cards like mystic darts that knocks each of them out cold and frees the goddess from their blood magic. "Now THIS is a good fortune!" Amy smiles in gratitude at her dimensional power.

"Thanks for the save." Palutena smiles as well as sharing a high-five with the pink hedgehog. "Their defenses are dwindling. Should be easier to make it to the roof." She informs her friends as they continue their upward battle to the Roof Garden.

Eventually, the party made it to Floor 49. Just one more floor to go before they reach the roof with the Lifeline Tablet. Fortunately yet ominously, no one seems to be guarding this floor. It's just smooth sailing between the heroes running toward the elevator. "Gettin' tired of all these stairs! Are we there yet?" Naoto panted, grown exhausted from this lengthy climb up the tower.

"Almost. Can sense they're just above us." Spider-Man assured him.

But then, a powerful presence triggers his Spider-Sense as Peter gestures everyone to stop while telling them, "Hold on! Can sense something else is coming this way."

A devastating force then blows apart a massive hole in the wall from outside Hand Tower that startles the united heroes. That force was caused by none other than Nu-13 as she enters the room with a creepy smile directed at her old enemies. "I finally found it…Ragna's presence." She said with vague confusion that strikes the heroes.

"It's that girl I followed to Mistripoor. What's she doing here?" Heihachi recalled.

"Nu-13. I believe that is her name. She was an ally of A.I.M. when they dragged her from her home dimension as part of their experiments. We haven't seen her since the breakout." Tails briefs the likes of Heihachi and Naoto on what they know of Nu so far.

"Good timing. We get to kill two birds with one stone." Weiss frowns with determination to recapture the otherworldly fugitive.

"I don't know. Something is different about her. She feels more…human than before." Palutena sensed.

"This way, Ragna." Nu said, now directing her smile solely at Naoto.

The confused Naoto looks around for this Ragna but doesn't find anyone that might fit that name. He points at himself all innocently, asking the stranger, "Hm? Are you talking to me?"

BGM-BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle OST-Awakening the Chaos (Nu-13's Theme)

In a blink of an eye, Nu's expression changed. From looking happy to looking disappointed with a hidden rage that is creeping to its boiling point. "…Who?" She simply asked with a frown.

"Kiiro?" Naoto takes a step forward upon mistaking her for someone he knows from his world, "No, you look just like her but…you're not. Are you from around here?"

"…Who are you?" Nu asked him again while a scowl starts to form on her face.

Remaining polite, Naoto responds with, "Well, I'm helping to stop some ninjas from taking over the world, but you're kinda blocking the way…So can you please excuse us? And what's this about a Ragn-?"

The highschooler is then furiously interrupted by her calling down a giant sword from a portal. The startled heroes were quick to scatter in time, followed up with Spidey retorting, "What the hell!?"

"What was that for!?" Naoto shouted at the crazy girl.

"Who are you…!? Tell me!" Nu screamed, now that her rage has reached its boiling point.

"She didn't act like this before! Naoto, do you know what's going on?" The surprised Ruby asked him.

"Huh…?" Naoto responds by taking a good look of Nu, specifically of the armor she's wearing. "Wait…is that the Murakumo Unit? Then does that mean you're…!?" He comments with interest, seemingly recognizing her power source.

"Don't you say another word!" Nu shouted, furiously firing a sword that Naoto dodges in time.

"She seems to have mistaken Naoto for someone and is taking her anger out on us. Just wonderful." Heihachi snarked.

"Spidey, lead the others to the roof! Naoto and I will hold her off!" Ruby ordered him.

"You nuts?! She'll skewer you!" Spidey retorted, seeing Nu is more powerful than the last time they fought her.

"The Tablet is more dangerous! We can't let the Hand control its power or it's over for everyone! We'll just survive 'til you're done!" Ruby refuted with an argument that he struggles to counter.

"She knows what she's doing! Let's go!" Weiss said to him, supporting her partner's plan.

Left with no choice, Spidey responds, "Okay, Petals. Don't do anything I wouldn't do.", before leading the others to the rooftop.

"Sure! I'll make up better jokes to distract her!" Ruby quipped, now alone with Naoto to battle the crazed Murakumo Unit.

Nu dashes at Naoto at frightening speeds whilst firing a barrage of swords at him. "Dammit!" Naoto quickly creates a blood sword to block the sword barrage and then Nu herself, who doesn't stick around for Ruby's scythe slash as she leaps away from it. Their epic clash escalates to a high-speed brawl across the large room after all three lunge at each other with roaring fury. The intensity slows down after the heroes' combined slash is blocked by the cyborg's bladed shield. Sadistically, Nu smiles and unveils more swords floating above her. "Son of a…" Naoto exclaims at them in shocked annoyance.

Quickly, Ruby spots some swords rocketing toward their backs with killing intent. "Watch out!" She shouted, using her Cross Art to teleport herself and Naoto away from danger, much to Nu's frustration.

"Don't get in my way!" Nu scowls while sending a spinning scythe along the ground to separate both heroes. This way the crazed cyborg can be alone grabbing Ruby by the throat in midair and telling her, "Target confirmed: Ruby Rose. Must be terminated. All Dimensional Avengers and Masters of Evil must be exterminated!"

"What?" Ruby expresses shock at her mission statement. But it pales in comparison to the pain she feels after being crushed to the ground by her knees. Naoto punches the cyborg away and keeps her busy while the huntress regains her strength. Nu assaults with another sword barrage that Naoto parries perfectly this time with his blood sword. More keep coming that prompts Naoto to unleash his Divine Reaper, launching a blood wave in the form of a demonic head that eats through all the blades except for those shielding the annoyed Nu.

"Why do you want to kill me and the Dimensional Avengers? Did these AIM people send you?" Naoto asked his enemy.

"AIM was never my master! Just a means to an end! The fulfillment of my wish, Faker!" Nu claims with a crazed tone, summoning more swords from portals to attack Naoto with.

"Faker? And what wish would that be?" Naoto asked, jumping over the swords.

"The end of the world!" Nu answered furiously, launching herself at her foe only to be deflected back down by the recovered Ruby.

"Sorry, but that wish will never come true! Naoto, combine your Drive with my Semblance!" Ruby declared with a plan to defeat Nu. The huntress disassembles herself into rose petals just as the highschooler transforms himself into a bloodstream. Both students literally combine their respective soul powers to form one large makeshift drill of scarlet energy that proves too challenging for even Nu's defenses to endure. The pressure increases into devastating levels that finally overcome the Murakumo Unit and smashes her into the ground with tremendous force.

BGM-BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger OST-Mirage

Smoke shrouds the entire room until dissipating and revealing the defeated Nu pinned down by the throat by Naoto and Ruby threatening to shoot her point-blank if she acts up. All three warriors both look and sound exhausted from that intense battle caused by the out-of-control Murakumo Unit, but finally it seems she has calmed down a bit. "Finally…you've calmed down. That took longer than I thought…" Naoto panted, "…So, that IS the Murakumo Unit, isn't it? Then does that mean you're…A Prime Field Device?"

"Nu is…Nu is Boundary Interface Prime Field Device No. 13. Nu was promised our reunion if I destroy the Dimensional Avengers and the Masters of Evil. That is why I tricked AIM into bringing me to their world." The calmed Nu clarified on some things.

"Who promised that? If not AIM, then who are you working for?" Ruby interrogated her.

"Doesn't matter. If what you're carrying is the Murakumo Unit…I need to destroy you." Naoto proclaimed somberly.

Unfortunately, it is too soon for her destruction. Nu is able to conjure a surprise teleportation portal underneath herself that aids her in retreating to parts unknown, no doubt to undergo repairs. "She's gone. But, I'm sure we'll run into her again." Naoto frowned, knowing Nu will return for another fight with STRIKE.

Rooftop Garden, Hand Tower.

During the same time Nu-13 was being fought against, another great battle is about to take place on the rooftop garden. The mystical ritual to unlock the infinite power of the Lifeline Tablet is all but complete. Conducted by Walter Naugus and his band of Hand Sorcerers. They surround the tablet sealed within a floating sphere cackling with astonishing energy that should not be disrupted. Too bad for the Hand, a heroic party has arrived to do exactly that and put an end to their evil scheme.

"That looks to be exhausting. You guys should go take a break before you wear yourselves out. Don't worry. Knuckles sandwiches are on me." The quippy Spider-Man reveals himself and his group consisting of Tails, Amy, Weiss, Lucina, Palutena, and Heihachi.

The annoyed Walter grunts, "They're here, and we're so close. Oh well." The sorcerers pause their ritual and instead draw power from the tablet. Their bodies radiate a mystical yellow aura that grants them limited access to life itself. Enough to make Naugus look sinisterly confident in this confrontation with the intruders, "We'll make this quick. Give you a taste of what awaits the rest of the world."

To make matters worse, a sudden shuriken is thrown at Spidey and forces him to move away from it sticking to a wall. It still cut his cheek, prompting the heroes to strike fighting stances and glare at who tried to ambush them. It was Elektra, standing atop an upper balcony and threatening the heroes with this, "Your fate is sealed! Prepare yourselves!"

BGM-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan OST-Karai

Elektra frontflips from her position to land beside Naugus and in front of their Hand Sorcerers. The Crimson Assassin brandishes her twin sai and the Troll Wizard energies his clawed hand, both of them rocking threatening glares that fail to make the heroes think twice of who they're dealing with. Spidey goes to hold his own against Elektra while Tails takes on Naugus. Everyone else is forced to fight the Hand Sorcerers if they want to reclaim the Tablet. One Sorcerer fires an energy blast that Amy evades before she is launched by Weiss's glyph to land a hard hammer swing. Unusually, that attack did so little damage that the Sorcerer was seamless in blocking a strike the heiress with a chi punch. Palutena takes to the sky in bombarding her enemies with energy blasts that also acts as cover for both Lucina and Heihachi to swerve through. The Iron Fist King knocks down a sorcerer with a flying kick while the Princess Exalt thrusts her blade to impale another. Surprisingly, impalement also didn't stun the mook for long. It hurt, but he survived by removing the blade and regenerating his wounds to continue battling the heroes.

"Could never figure you out, Elektra. One minute you're a good guy, next minute you're a bad guy, the other minute you're dating Daredevil. Make up your mind, woman." Spidey joked, dodging multiple sai strikes to counter with a devastating blow that knocks her back.

"I do what I desire. And my desire now is to eliminate you." Elektra retorted, letting fly two deadly shurikens that strike the Avenger with blinding speed and precision.

"How about you, Naugus? Why are you helping the Hand?" Tails asked, flying away from the troll's energy bolts.

"To destroy you Freedom Fighters and Eggman, duh! I still haven't forgiven that fat buffoon for betraying me when we conquered the Kingdom of Acorn. His worthless technology will fall before the limitless magic of this Tablet! Once we unlock its full power of course!" Naugus revealed his reason for joining the Hand.

Heihachi is the first of the heroes to reach the Tablet and try to pull it out from its barrier. But its magic is too strong for even his iron fists to handle and he is violently repelled. "They have it shielded! I can't touch it!" He scowled.

"We have to stop the ritual! I will work on dispelling the magic! Cover me!" Palutena announced, casting her own spell that will take time in neutralizing the Hand's magic.

"Destroy her! Do not let her succeed!" Elektra ordered her sorcerers.

"Time I bust out my own magic!" Weiss defends the goddess by recalling her training with Doctor Strange. Her mastery over magic grows with every adventure, with this incantation being among her favorites. "By the Icy Tendrils of Ikthalon!" She creates an interdimensional portal that calls upon the powers of an icy demon to unleash a horrific attack on several ninjas with his icy appendages.

While everyone else fights Naugus and his sorcerers, Lucina decided to take a shot in dueling Elektra. Her Falchion is doing wonders in parrying her sais from the front. Even as the assassin tries to attack from behind, Lucina was quick to take a defensive pose and counter with a fast outward strike that blows Elektra away. The acrobatic killer manages to bounce off a wall as her recovery point and throw her spinning sai that were quick to be deflected, but Lucina was barely fast enough to block a slash from Elektra's hidden katana. They clash for a bit until Elektra seamlessly regains her signature weapon and overwhelms the princess with a flurry of blows, striking with her sai and katana in a graceful and powerful combo that ends with Lucina being kicked to the ground. The Crimson Assassin looks to have the edge as she attempts a slamming harsh strike from above, only for Lucina to just roll out of the way to deliver a sweepkick into a Dolphin Slash that sends the ninja back to an even match with her.

"Is it me, or can these ninjas take a beating?" Amy notices her card attacks are ineffective against the nigh-immortal sorcerers.

"Feels wrong to use so much strength on goons." Heihachi grunted, barely defeating one sorcerer with his Lightning Hammer.

"It's the Tablet." Spidey states while striking a sorcerer with a haymaker punch. "Just a portion of its power is enhancing their durability and regenerative abilities." He says while putting down another with a mule-like kick. "Try and knock down as many as you can for Weiss and I to pin down! Keep 'em busy 'til Palutena can stop the ritual!" The Webslinger then backflips over Weiss's large ice sword that slashes down several sorcerers for her ice blasts and his web balls to immobilize. "That should hold them." He claimed.

Suddenly, the Arachnid Avenger finds himself immobilized by Naugus's crystalmancy. "And that should hold you!" Naugus snarked with a smug grin.

"Spidey!" The angered Weiss attacks the troll in retaliation, using her glyphs to give herself the speed advantage that nearly overwhelms Naugus. Her tactic crumbles when it looks like her last attack is about to hit Tails. She stops in shock, allowing the fox to grin demonically before crystalizing her and shapeshifting back to his original Naugus form.

"Almost done! Just another few seconds!" Palutena announced, nearly done deactivating the tablet.

"No! That power is MINE!" Naugus retorted, firing another crystal blast that the goddess easily avoids and annoys him into continuing the ritual himself. Their intense magics collide and Naugus is struggling with all his might to stop her and obtain the full powers of an immortal deity. But it's not going to happen. Not against the actual god. And not against Tails that calls him by the one thing he hates the most.

"Hey Wally, you losing?" Tails mocked.

"Don't call me that!" Wally snapped.

The distraction broke his concentration and Palutena's magic overcome his own. Her light neutralizes the Tablet's power, rendering all those linked to it powerless. The Hand Sorcerers are left weak and unable to stop Heihachi from freeing Spidey and Weiss from their crystalized state while Tails decimate the ninjas with a well-thrown Dummy Ring Bomb. "Idiot troll!" Elektra expresses annoyed disappointment in the midst of her clash with Lucina. A clash that ends with the princess knocking her out with a powerful electrified slash.

As for Naugus, he notices the tablet lying alone on the ground and crawls over to reclaim it like the cowardly warlock that he is. His scheme fails the moment Amy puts her foot on the relic and eyes him with an intimidating look while her Cross Art energizes her hammer for the embarrassing finisher. "F-Finders keepers…?" He said with a terrified smile. With a mighty yell, Amy swings and slams her magic-powered hammer onto his ugly face. Packing so much terrifying force that it smashes him off the rooftop in a blink of an eye. Sending him flying from the top of Hand Tower into the eye of the Hydra-Bot where further punishment awaits momentarily.

"Home run! Team Dimensional Avengers won the game! Our prize: The Tablet of Life and Time!" Spidey celebrates their victory over the Hand, while Amy picks up the tablet from the ground.

"How can a thing of such power be so small is something I'll never understand." Palutena commented, staring at the relic with intrigue.

"You did it!" smiled Ruby, just as she and Naoto regroup with their friends on the rooftop garden.

"Same to you. Guessin' Nu got away. Let's get Elektra into her Orb and rejoin the others." Spidey replied, acknowledged by Ruby's adorable nod.

Outside Hand Tower…

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Competitive Battle

The three-way battle is reaching its conclusion as Sonic charges in for a final assault on the Hydra-Bot. The machine is severely damaged from his attacks as well as The Hand's and Iron Queen is growing frustrated with their insolence. Her magitek commands the machine to launch all its weapons that clears the field of Hand Ninjas but not Sonic closing in. "Eat this!" Iron Queen shouted, commanding the Bot to fire its biggest gun straight at the hedgehog running on its tentacle. A direct hit it looks like as nothing but smoke is left. That is, until a familiar Blue Blur spindashes out of the smoke to smash the surprised sorceress straight through the head of the Hydra-Bot. The giant robot finally explodes, and a wounded and furious Iron Queen is seen floating amongst the falling debris screaming, "You'll PAAAAY for this! My subjects, we are leaving! This battle is a lost cause!"

Iron Hydra Forces begin retreating by the dozen. Madame Hydra jumps away from Sharon Carter's kick that ends their battle in a draw. Crossbones also had his fun with Captain America and Jin, chuckling, "Til next time, heroes!", before spewing one last energy blast with his Cross Art to better cover their escape with an explosion.

"Master." A Hand Ninja appears beside Gorgon to inform him of what happened inside Hand Tower, "Elektra and Naugus have failed. The Tablet has been liberated."

However, Gorgon remains calm and confident as he replies, "No matter. I suspect it won't stay in their possession for long. Retreat. We will attack again soon.", before gesturing for a smoke bomb to cover The Hand's own retreat from the battlefield.

BGM End

The Iron Hydra Empire and The Hand have both retreated from the battlefield. The turf war is over and STRIKE has saved Mistripoor from further corruption. "They're gone. For now." Captain America stated ominously, knowing they'll fight them again.

Exhausted from all the mayhem, Walter Naugus manages to pull himself out of the wreckage of the Hydra-Bot and slumps next to a smiling Sonic. "Oh. Hey, Wally. Where'd you fall from?" Sonic casually greeted his defeated nemesis.

"Shut up…" Naugus weakly retorted, exclaiming a simple, "Ow!", after being hit by an Interdimensional Orb that imprisons him for Carter to pick up.

BGM-Project X Zone 2 OST-Because It's The Right Path

"SONIC!" Amy screams in joy while running out of Hand Tower to reunite with her love interest.

"AH! Amy!" Sonic shouted in a fright before he is tackle-hugged by his not-girlfriend.

"Should've seen me! I unlocked my Cross Art! I can do magic now!" Amy happily tells him of her new power.

"Huh? Really? That's cool." Sonic smiled, genuinely proud of her achievement.

The rest of Spider-Man's group is seen walking out of the tower with Elektra's Orb and the Lifeline Tablet in their possession. "Got back the Tablet. Good job." Sharon Carter complimented the party.

"We were lucky we stopped their ritual in time. Wasn't in the mood to fight immortal godlike ninjas. Though that would've been cool to see." Spider-Man quipped.

"We also ran into Nu-13 again but she got away." Tails informed everyone.

"Her again? What was she doing here?" X asked.

"To kill the Dimensional Avengers and the Masters of Evil." Ruby answered sternly.

"An assassin. Even targeting the Masters of Evil? Why?" The curious Jin responded.

"Not sure. She was promised a wish that'll destroy the world if she does it. She was also confusing me for someone, but I think she was just being crazy." Naoto replied, unfamiliar with this Ragna person.

"Well I heard there's someone beside Iron Queen leading the Iron Hydra Empire. Some dude who's the true leader of the Hydra half. Have a clue who?" Sonic asked Carter, recalling what Iron Queen hinted at during their last fight.

"Been hearing it's The Mandarin but wasn't able to confirm in time." Sharon answered, claiming the Ten Ring Wielder is the leader of the Iron Hydra empire.

"Thought he's working for the Masters of Evil. Did he quit?" Spidey wondered.

"Assuming he quit." Lucina commented sternly.

"We'll look into that later. It's possible Nu is connected to the Convergence and/or our mystery enemy. Capturing her for questioning has become one of our top priorities. I'll send word to Gamma Team immediately and help with cleanup here. Dimensional Avengers, return to the Tricarrier. I know Hill will be happy to take the tablet off your hands." Captain America said, elaborating on their next course of action.

"Sure thing, Cap!" Amy smiled, holding the ancient artifact.

"I'll tag along. Just to make sure it gets locked up safe." Heihachi claimed, easily sounding suspicious to everyone present.

"Can't fool me. I know you just want the tablet for yourself." Jin snarls at his evil, power-hungry grandfather.

"Gotta be at the top of my game if I wanna protect these kids from that robo-assassin." Heihachi snarks with a mischievous grin.

"We appreciate the concern, Old Timer, but we can take care of ourselves." Sonic sassed.

"If you wanna keep yourself busy, you can spar with Hulk." Yang suggested.

"Is he strong?" Heihachi asked, sounding intrigued.

"Strongest one there is." Yang smiled slyly.

"Heh, for now. I have some time to kill." Heihachi grinned, interested in fighting the Gamma Avenger.

"Your grandpa's crazy if he thinks he can beat the Hulk." Sharon jokes around with the devil mutant.

"Tempted to watch him get torn apart limb from limb." Jin quipped dryly.

"And I thought my sister was twisted." Naoto sighs, seeing both Mishimas as crazy.

Tails took out his Miles Electric to call for the Aven-Jet to pick them up. It arrived and opens its hatch for entry from Jin, Naoto, and the Dimensional Avengers. "See ya!" Blake smiles, waving goodbye to Cap's party.

"Take care!" Iron Fist responded, with everyone but Heihachi waving goodbye as the Aven-Jet flies out of Mistripoor airspace at supersonic speeds.

S.T.R.I.K.E. Tricarrier, New Vale City.

It took a while but the Lifeline Tablet is back in safe hands. All that is left is to hand it over to Maria Hill for safekeeping and the Dimensional Avengers can consider their first mission with S.T.R.I.K.E. a success. As the Aven-Jet readies itself for landing at the flight deck, Tails notices something disturbingly peculiar out the window, "Oh, I don't believe this."

"Is it a surprise party? I love surprise parties." Spider-Man joked, getting excited at the thought.

"Not exactly." Tails responded.

BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Fisk Industries

The whole team looks outside their windows to find a worrisome sight: The Kingpin. Standing alongside what looks to be his female lawyer as well as Maria Hill and several STRIKE Agents. They all have been waiting for the heroes' return and watch as they exit their jet and Sonic scowling at Fisk, "What are YOU doing here?"

"This is a cease-and-desist order along with proof of Wilson Fisk's ownership of the tablet. That tablet belongs to my client. Now if, and ONLY if, it's returned to his possession immediately, my client will not press charges." The Lawyer explained, handing the letter over for Spidey and Palutena to read.

"Say what now?" Knuckles snarls, wanting to punch Fisk as much as Yang if X didn't halt them with a stern gesture.

"Fisk's slimeball attorney is right. Hand it back." Maria Hill commented with reluctance in her voice.

"After the hell we went through to get this thing back? It's too dangerous!" Naoto argued angrily.

"NOW, kid." Hill retorted sternly.

"Hill? You can't be serious." Lucina responded in disbelief. Unable to accept the only choice of handing over one of the most powerful relics of their worlds to the Kingpin of Crime.

"You hand it over or we will sue you people SO HARD, we'll own this ship, your sword, and the cute little tiara on your overgrown hair." The Lawyer threatened to shut down the Dimensional Avengers. All of STRIKE if they don't hand over the tablet. All with a smug look that would've goaded the angered Lucina into attacking if Jin didn't stop her by the shoulder.

Amy is the one holding the tablet. And with great reluctance and a depressed frown, she allows Hill to pry it off her hands while Ruby watches this in shock. "No, no! We can't do this." Ruby protested.

"We have to." Hill responded somberly.

Hill hands the tablet to the lawyer, securing her client's most prized and most powerful possession in her hand. None of the heroes are happy about this at all. They lost an important battle without anyone throwing hands. Though they saved Mistripoor, it is clearer than ever that this gang war is not over. Evident by Spider-Man confronting the crimeboss and glaring at him threatening words, "We'll be watching you."

"Hehehahahaha!" Kingpin just laughs off his threat before walking away with his lawyer and STRIKE escorts, ignoring Peter's shaky fist of anger.

"How could you let that happen?" Blake scolded Hill.

"My hands are tied, gentlemen. I'm not Nick Fury, I have to obey the law." Hill retorted.

"What do we do now?" Sonic asked her.

"You need to find someone who knows the ins and outs of Wilson Fisk and his empire. See if they can find a way to shut him down." Hill tasked them.

Thinking quick, Spidey snaps his fingers with an amazing idea that gets all his friends interested. "You know what? I know EXACTLY who we need." He claimed confidently.

Later, at the Daily Bugle…

The door to the rooftop is slammed open by reporter Ben Urich after being called up here for a meeting with an old friend. That friend being Spider-Man, with his amazing friends in the Dimensional Avengers. "The Kingpin, right?" Urich deduced correctly.

"You're good, Urich." Spider-Man quipped.

Ben takes off his glasses and cleans them. Readying himself to tell the united heroes what they need to do if they want to defeat the Kingpin once and for all, "OK. Here's what you have to do."

KFX Here: This was a long one. Hope none of you was left lost or confused. The next chapter should be shorter and easier to follow before wrapping up this Gang War with a climactic fight with Kingpin. We'll reunite with the Iron Hydra Empire later and Nu-13 will be a reoccurring enemy every few chapters or so.

Nathan Ramos: The Infinity War in this series is based on the plot of the Marvel Super Heroes video game (and by extension the classic Infinity Gauntlet storyline from the comics). Spider-Man did die but during the fight with Thanos, not because he was dusted.
