Ch 31 What Lies in the Amazon

Hogwarts,

Dumbledore closed his eyes, word had yet to come from Sirius and Remus assuming they went off the rails. He hasn't heard from them since. On the other hand, Professor Tonelico has already sent at least ten Students out of her Class, mostly Purebloods, and Students with their expectations it'll be an easy Class.

Among the various reports from his Staff, one of them reported that Percy Weasley was thrown out of the DADA for questioning the Fairy Queen's lessons and how they apply to the N.E.W.T.S and O.W.L.S, among a choice of words regarding her credentials.

Without a warning, Morgan told him to leave and come back the following year, as she quotes. 'I will not tolerate insubordination nor questioning my credentials from a Student. I have come to correct the way of things here in Hogwarts; come back the following year where you might learn to respect your Instructors, Mr. Weasley.'

Since then, many Students have fallen into line and followed whatever Morgan was teaching them in her Class. The topics were things he never had heard about, the Age of Gods, Faries, and the downfall of Magic pending the Modern Era.

Dumbledore has to admit to himself that Magic has become more scarce with new Muggle Technology being invented. Like how little flying Machines can deliver larger packages than Owls could carry, or how information can be accessed more quickly than reading and searching for a book, or quicker response with Muggle portable Phones.

Since when did Phones become portable? Dumbledore shook his head, standing from his desk. "I must speak with Professor Tonelico about how she knows about this stuff. The Stature prevents any Wizard or Witch from even stepping near a Muggle-"

Just when Dumbledore was about to step out of his Office, Charlie Weasley barged in. Based on his appearance, something happened at his internship. "Mr. Weasley, how nice of you to drop by. How is your Internship with the Dragon Keeper-"

"Headmaster, the Dragon Keepers; they're being captured by Muggles!" Charlie informed the Headmaster of what happened during their expedition in the Dragon Nest (The area the Wizard called it).

"Captured by Muggles?" Dumbledore was surprised to hear what Charlie said. "But that should be impossible, the Dragon Nests are far away from any Muggle settlements." The old Wizard said, finding this curious why Muggles are wandering into the Dragon Nests. "Is possible that these Muggles so happen to wander into the Dragon Nests by accident?

Charlie shook his head, "N-No Sir, they were speaking like they knew of the place and they also used a different kind of Magic to fight us." The Wizard continued to inform the Leader of the Order of the Phoenix. "We tried to fend them off, but they can reflect our Spells. They use Magical Items like Swords and one of them can call forth a Dragon I've never seen before!"

Dumbledore was shocked to hear the information the Weasley Child was telling him. His eyes twinkled, peering inside Charlie's mind to see what he just described. What he saw was a blur, most likely that Charlie was in a bad position that their faces were obscured.

"I know one of the Dragon Keepers said something that most of us could hear." Dumbledore's eyes returned to their normal shade of baby blue once Charlie spoke again.

"What did the Dragon Keeper say, Charlie?" Dumbledore asked in a Grandfatherly tone.

The red-haired Wizard looked at Dumbledore with seriousness, not doubting what his captured Keeper said. "H-He said that Harry Potter was there with the Muggles."

"…What?" Dumbledore's eyes widen, hearing the name of the Child of his two best Students. "Are you sure, Charlie? It isn't a mishap or something else?"

Charlie nodded, not doubting it. "Of course, Professor."

Unbeknownst to them, every word the two Wizard spoke has been monitored and heard by a certain Lostbelt Queen.

Morgan sat in her Throne room, a product of her Territory Creation. A small Office space that she transformed into living quarters for the time her Stepson and others were of Age to come to the wretched School.

Of course, being Morgan Le Fay, she added herself a Throne on the edge of a living area where she can monitor Hogwarts without going outside unless it's required to.

She did a little snooping around the DADA Classroom where she could easily detect the Curse lingering around the Office. Once she understood the Curse, which was to Curse any misfortune on anyone who took the DADA position would meet misfortune which leads to new replacements every year.

Morgan used it to her advantage where any Student, Staff, the Headmaster, or anyone outside Chaldea's jurisdiction could only stay away from the Office, prompting them to speak in the Classroom if needed.

"Tch," Morgan clicked her teeth, observing what transpired in the Headmaster's Office. "So the Wizards have knowledge of where my Stepson is. I expected his whereabouts would be known when he reached the Age of Eleven, but I guess some mistakes happen." She spoke to herself, pulling out a Magecraft-powered Communicator (Knowing that Owls are checked in and out of Hogwarts) to contact Lucius about the new development.

Void Space

It's been only a few hours since they departed from Russia, the Trip from Russia to the Americas will take a Day unlike a few hours from France to Russia.

Things within the Shadow Border were normal, the Staff working ensuring their existence was kept. The Servants accompanying them were out and about within the Halls.

Ritsuka, Mashu, Koyanskaya, Da Vinci, and Holmes were discussing what to do upon arrival to South America and the Crystal Valley.

As for Harry, the obvious is clearly seen. He was in a separate room with Zhou Yu, Fou, and Oberon while Moriarty was giving his lecture to Harry.

Harry sat at a desk, looking up at a monitor with Professor M standing in front of it. "Harry, it's time that you learn the Truth about the World we lived in and what secrets we of Chaldea have uncovered." The Ruler stated.

"Professor, is this Lesson about where we're going, South America?" Harry asked, knowing they were going to the American Branch to check on something in the Region.

"Indeed, South America or Central America is very important in the World's History and Mythology. Mainly the Mayans and the Aztec Pantheons." Morarity explains to the young master,

Harry tilts his head, "How so, Professor?" He asked,

The former Apostle of the Alien World smiles, "Sixty-five Million Years ago, an Asteroid has crashed into the Earth in the Yucatan Peninsula-"

"The Asteroid's impact killed the Dinosaurs in the Cretaceous Period. Everyone knows about the Asteroid and the Dinosaurs, Professor." The young Heir said, looking at the Ruler Servant.

"Yes, but did you know that Asteroid was carrying an Alien Species?" Moriarty asked in a curious tone.

Now Harry was intrigued, "An Alien Species?" He asked with curiosity, he knew that the Universe was vast and believed there were other Life Forms outside of Earth.

Morarity nodded, "Indeed, or rather an Alien Bacteria." He corrected himself, showing the Human interpretation of the Mesoamerican Deities on the screen. "Right after the Extinction of the Dinosaurs and when Humans were beginning to emerge, the Alien Bacteria began to possess Plants and Animals before possessing certain Humans which led to the creation of the Mayan Pantheon then later the Aztec Pantheon." The Ruler explains to the young master.

"W-Wait, Professor M, are you saying that Alien Bacteria created the Mesoamerican Pantheons?" Harry asked, his eyes widening with something he didn't know. "B-But, the book says something different. I'm confused now,"

"Understandable, this History isn't for everyone. That's why we Chaldeans must keep this a Secret," Moriarty explains to the young Heir. "We allow what the World has written in books to exist, never publishing the Truth because it reveals Mystery to People."

"And we can't let that happen," Harry responded, knowing what Chaldea does from his Adventure in France and Russia. He then began to ponder after thinking about the Aztec and Mayan Pantheons now that Aliens are involved. "Professor, since the Aztec and Mayan Gods are Humans possessed by Alien Bacteria, what do they look like?"

Moriarty smiles, "They look like us, most Mesoamerican Deities gain their Animalistic features from the Animal they possessed in the Past, but mostly they have a Human appearance." He explains. "Some make it to the Modern Era, but kept to a low profile, hiding as a Human."

Harry nodded, jotting down mental notes about the Aztec and Mayan Gods. "Now, since you already know most of the Servant Classes, I'll tell you one that Dantes has deliberately left out."

"What Class is that, Professor?" Harry asked, curious about what other Classes were there.

"The Class I speak of is known as the Foreigner Class. This Class is filled with Servants who are Beings or infused with Entities outside our known Galaxy and Mind." Moriarty explains what Foreigners are to Harry, "Tell me, have you heard of H.P. Lovecraft, young master?"

Harry nodded, hearing about it like everyone in some Media. "Yeah, the Outer God Cthulhu. I only know him, I know there's a lot but that's the one which is famous."

Moriarty nodded, "Excellent, it seems I don't need to go in-depth so far." He said, looking to the side. "You know, there's a lot of Foreigners in the Wandering Sea…I'll just save those for the time we go there."

"The only thing you need to know is this. This involves on to why we're going to South America, Harry." Moriarty looks at Harry with a serious expression, indicating the seriousness of what he is about to say.

Harry nodded, taking note of the seriousness of this topic.

"Before the Common Era, another Visitor from the Sea of Stars crashed into Earth in the South American Continent," Moriarty explains to Harry, "This being is currently resting in the Country of Brazil, deep within the Amazon Rainforest near a secluded Village. We call this Region, the Crystal Valley."

Harry heard about the place from others back in the Russian Outpost. "I know that place, the Staff and Mommy and Daddy were talking about it."

The Ruler nodded, happy Harry was listening. "Yes, we of Chaldea must monitor the Valley and ensure nobody gets into it. The Being sleeping there is one of the most powerful on the Planet," Moriarty stated, "We call this Being goes by many names, The Giant Spider, the Fifth Dead Apostle Ancestors, the Ultimate One, better known as ORT."

"ORT…what do you mean by the Ultimate One?" Harry asked, gulping at the name and title.

"As I said, it's the strongest Beings on Earth. Not even we Servants could stand against it when it awakens, even when we have an Ultimate One in Chaldea; the only thing she could do is to tell it to go back to sleep." Moriarty further explains to the young master, "An Expedition of Mages from the Clocktower was sent to South America, encountering ORT; only to have one of the Mage from the Twelve Lords of the time come back saying."

"The Creature must still not be touched. No Life on the Planet is up to the task of now. Wait for the next Geologic Period; we entrust Hope to the new Evolved Life that will come after our Extinction." Moriarty informed Harry of what exactly lies in South America and what others have encountered. "That was the Lord's last words before turning into Living Crystal before the onlookers.

Harry's eyes widen with fear of what lies in South America after hearing that. "After that incident, the director of the Clocktower named the Being, ORT, and stated 'Only the Planet's screams will awaken ORT. It's hibernating nice and cozy in South America's underground. So you keep your hands off it, the Planet will lose its anthroposphere if that thing starts moving. In better terms, Humans will go Extinct if it awakens."

Zhou Yu could tell that his master was tensed upon hearing the mere mention of ORT. "Professor, you're scaring my master." The Tactician informed the Crime Lord.

Moriarty looks at Harry, seeing the scared expression he is giving. "I do apologize, young master. But this is what type of World we live in." The Ruler apologizes, not meaning to scare the young master.

"Fou…" Fou approaches Harry, feeling his frightened emotions. Just when Fou was about to touch Harry, he stood up.

"Then why are we going there if that thing is there!?" Harry shouted, terrified by what he heard. "If we go there then we'll die like those Mages!" He said, his fear was speaking.

Oberon stood up, seeing the scared Boy. "Harry, wait, you-"

"N-No, I have to stop our trip to South America! I have to tell Daddy!" Harry turns to the door, bolting out of the room.

The Pretender morphs back into his regular form, turning to Moriarty. "No look at what you've done, Moriarty. He's scared out of his mind," Oberon said before flinching. "Oh…now I see…you intentionally scare him, as a test."

"A test? Of courage?" Zhou Yu frowns, knowing that at his master's Age, anything could scare him. "Ruler, my master is still a Child. Be wary of his feelings towards the information Chaldea has."

Moriarty smiles, shrugging his shoulders. "I know what I'm doing, Zhou Yu, Oberon; I'm preparing him for whatever might scare him in the Future." The Ruler said, "I don't want Harry to stand in the middle of a Battlefield, frightened out of his mind where he could be an easy target."

Fou shook his head, absolutely knowing this was a test for the young Heir but agreed with his notion. "Fou, Fou…" The two Servants knew that this was much, but still, the Ruler did have a point.

Harry ran down the metal Halls of the Shadow Border, after hearing about what is in South America.

Within the Halls, Kingu walked down the Hallway heading to his room to rest. The Lancer's ears suddenly picked up some small footsteps running down the Hall. "Hmm?"

Kingu saw his Nephew running down the Hall, "Oi, watch where you're-" Harry didn't acknowledge him, clearly having something in his mind. "Tch, not even acknowledging me." The Lancer clicked his teeth, continuing his way.

In the Command room, Ritsuka was finishing with their plans for their arrival to South America. "Alright, so Samuel has developed some Drones that allow us to observe the Crystal Valley without disturbing ORT." The Magus said,

"That's good, then we don't need to-" Mashu was soon interrupted by the sudden opening of the door.

"Daddy, Mommy! We can't go to South America!" Harry exclaims in a panicked,

Everyone, including the Pilots of the Shadow Border, turns to face Harry. They all saw he was clearly frightened by the expression on his face.

"Harry-kun, what have you so scared?" Mashu asked, approaching Harry, kneeling to his level.

Harry looks at both his Mother and Father, telling them what he'd learned. "We can't go to South America! I know we have to go because of work, but we can't!" The young Wizard said, gripping his fist in fear. "Not with that thing sleeping there in the Crystal Valley!"

Mashu turns to her Husband who turns to Holmes, Da Vinci, and Koyanskaya. "So, the Professor has told young Harry what is in the South American Continent. I assumed that we're going to tell him when we get there." Holmes said, seeing his deduction was off the mark.

"Great, we have a scared Kid now. You know if we follow what Harry said, we'll be behind schedule and I don't think leaving him at the Border would do any good while stationed in the Forest." Koyanskaya sighs, a bit frustrated that this came to their current situation.

Da Vinci sighs, turning to Ritsuka knowing he, Mashu, and Harry have a strong Bond. "Fujimaru-kun, can you-"

"We've got this, Da Vinci." Ritsuka waved his hand at the Tech Advisor, walking over to his Son and Wife.

Harry looks up at his Father, hoping he sees the reason why they shouldn't go. "D-Daddy, we can't go to South America. I-I don't want ORT to get-'

"Harry," Ritsuka said his name calmly, placing his hand on Harry's shoulders. "We have to, despite the dangers of going; we have to check up on the Crystal Valley."

Mashu nodded, agreeing with her Husband on this. "It's what we must do as Chaldeans, Harry-kun. Our Job is to ensure nobody gets near ORT and disturbs its rest." The former Demi-Servant said,

Harry gulps, fidgeting his fingers together. "B-But those Mages, they were turned to C-Crystal after going and seeing ORT." He said, scared of the thought of being turned into Crystal and then dying. "I-I don't want that to happen to us."

The director of Chaldea sighs, understanding where his Son's fear is coming from. "Hars, we're not venturing into the Crystal Valley," Ritsuka explains to the black-haired Boy. "I'm fully aware that ORT is no match for us. Especially now that we're in Proper Human History."

"H-Huh?" Harry gave his Parents a questionable expression,

"Harry-kun, we've faced ORT before in the South American Lostbelt," Mashu explains, telling their Son that they faced the Ultimate One before. "We know the risk, and we manage to defeat it by the skin of our teeth."

Ritsuka nodded, "That's right, we're not fools that would go into a dangerous place unprepared." The director of Chaldea added, ensuring Harry that there's nothing to be scared of. "Truth be told, I'm scared too. ORT is something I haven't faced before, nor have I wished to again."

"Harry, it's alright to be scared; but we must do what is best to protect Humanity," Ritsuka said, advising Harry on what it means to be the master of Humanity. "There are times in our lives that we don't like, but we have to do it for the betterment of what's good."

Harry listens to his Father as he continues to speak about his role in the Future. "I promise you, Harry. ORT will not hurt you, we won't let that happen or you experience what we've experienced." Ritsuka said,

"Your Father's right, remember Harry-kun; you're not the only Person there near the Crystal Valley." Mashu reminded her Son that there were others waiting for their arrival. "The director of the American Branch, Chaldean Staff, and some Servants are there, doing their best to ensure ORT is not disturbed."

Harry was feeling reinsured, but the fear of ORT waking and causing Humanity's Extinction still lingers in his mind.

Ritsuka and Mashu could see that Harry still had some doubts about this Expedition. Ritsuka smiles, having an idea that might cheer him up. "Say, Hars; if you're still scared, how about I introduce to you some Servants that might like you."

Harry did like meeting Servants, he liked the idea of meeting Historical and Mythological Figures. He nodded, accepting the offer. "O-Okay, Daddy." He said, feeling a bit better.

Soon the Shadow Border emerges from Void Space, now entering the thick Forest of the Amazon Rainforest.
