In the most secret place in heaven, an orb of light glowed while two blonde haired angels stood next to it, one of them a man and the other a woman. "It's grown so large I wonder when he will return?!" The female one said to the other with a voice so soft it could only belong to an angel. "Soon Gabriel I can feel it" he said happily yet regretful
Flashback
After one of the many battles in the great war they sat at a table in heaven "Michael he can't be dead!" Gabriel sobbed "I was there… I'm sorry but it's true" he replied, placing a hand on her shoulder. Suddenly a white butterfly made of light flew around and past them emitting an energy that was unmistakable to them. "God!?" Gabriel said shocked looking at the butterfly of light following it 'Lord!? You had a plan after all' Michael thought to himself following his sister Gabriel
They chased the light to the most hidden part of Heaven and watched as the butterfly stopped moving and started glowing more turning into a small sphere of light the size of a marble
"He'll return Michael! God's not dead!" Gabriel said overjoyed that the god of the Bible didn't perish in the war
End of flashback
A flash of light blinded the seraphs and they gasped when they saw what appeared where the orb of light resided for a thousand years. It was a baby boy with green eyes floating sleeping peacefully "What?!" Gabriel shouted, clearly shocked at the result of the reincarnation "that's definitely his energy…" Michael said reaching for the baby
After a long discussion the seraphs decided that they would send the baby to earth to be raised as that's what they believed God would have wanted.
Kuoh Japan
A black haired woman screamed, crying hysterically looking at her baby that didn't cry "I'll see what we can do" the doctor offered reaching for the baby, not yet giving up on the newborn's life. Out of nowhere the baby boy sneezed and started "Issei!" His father shouted, turning away from comforting his wife to hold their newborn son.
That day the Hyoudous unknowingly went home with one of the most powerful beings in existence
3 years later
Issei, now a little three year old boy with brown hair and eyes that matched, ran around his backyard laughing with a black Labrador named 'kuro'. Kuro jumped over the fence and ran down the sidewalk looking back at Issei, he climbed the fence eventually making it over "Wait Kuro!" Issei shouted, running after his pup. Kuro reached the end of the sidewalk and continued running across the street until out of nowhere he was struck by a car "AAARF" Kuro barked in distress. Issei watched in horror tears welling up in his eyes "NOOOOOO" Issei screamed causing all nearby windows to shatter and the passengers in the car to pass out.
A glowing circle formed on the ground between Issei and the accident and an Angel appeared; Gabriel with her 12 pure white angelic wings out. She quickly casted a barrier around the area, magically all the broken glass shards lit up and started moving back into place as if they had never been shattered. "What!?" Issei said, looking at the angel shocked at what seemed to be unreal "Excuse me miss" he said politely "Yes my dear" she answered with the most comforting smile imaginable "Can you fix Kuro too?" Issei asked with tears in his eyes. Gabriel froze, unable to reply after a second she looked at Kuro and answered "I'm sorry but Kuro is coming with me" The tears fell from Issei's eyes "..no" he said "it's okay Issei he'll be in a better place" Gabriel said trying not to cry. She reached out to him, wiped his tears then touched his forehead. "This is for your own good until you're ready" she whispered under her breath as a circle appeared on his forehead and he passed out where he stood. They appeared in his room and he fell into his bed, Gabriel looking down at him as she started ascending, Kuro by her side with a bright halo over his head. Issei's eyes opened slightly as she left.
When Issei awoke neither Kuro nor the angel he met were anywhere to be found.
Fourteen years later
Issei was now seventeen years old, a second year in high school and not very popular. He had two friends Matsuda and Motohama but they didn't get along perfectly because Matsuda and Motohama only liked talking about perverted things.
As his friends ran from a group of girls with kendo sticks, Issei watched while sitting by a tree until he saw her looking out the old school building window. One of the two great ladies of Kuoh Rias Gremory, she had long crimson hair that blew in the wind and baby blue eyes that matched the sky. Issei made eye contact with her until she closed the window and walked away.
On his way out of school now a cute girl with black hair approached him "Excuse me" she said in a cute-sounding high pitched voice, "Yes?" Issei answered, confused as girls didn't talk to him often because he didn't have much of a presence. The girl blushed and said, "I'm Yuma Amano, would you please go out with me Issei?" Issei flushed hearing her words, Yuma liked him?! Maybe his bad luck with ladies had finally come to an end. "Umm S-sure!" He stammered out embarrassed "Okay here's my contact info see you soon!" She said cheerily leaving Issei shocked standing there.
A few yards away a girl with white hair watched and said to herself "I've got to report this to buchou."
