Following the First and Second Tiberium Wars, along with the Spread of Tiberium across the entire World, Japan became a regional superpower and the seat of the entire Assembly, along with being a hub for advanced technological developments. The Population of Japan has blossomed, as refugees from Tiberium-infested Nations fled to Blue zones in Japan, Korea and Oceania, eventually being one of the founding members of the Assembly.
Republic of Korea
As Tiberium spreaded, United following the Second Korean War, the Republic scrambled to install prototype Sonic Barriers in the Korean-Chinese Border, along with accepting tens of millions of refugees into what used to be Northern North Korea, building several new cities including Fok Chang Jiang. Founding the Assembly, the ROK is a major part of the assembly, being a hub for technological development and a Military hub.
Republic of China
Relations between the ROC and PRC never returned to normal before the collapse of the People's Republic in the Second Chinese Civil War. An agreement with the Republic of Hong Kong, Sinic-Russo Republic, and the Confederation of the Himalayas granted recognition of each as independent states. Now, the ROC is highly militarized, yet is still a Centre of innovation and development, with a massively boosted population.
The Commonwealth of Australia
Although a significant portion of Australia is covered with yellow zones, along with a sizable amount of red zones, the AULR ( Auler ) Program has significantly increased the size of Australia's blue zones. Holding a massive population, Australia is one of the three Powerhouses of the assembly, holding almost a quarter of the population. New Zealand
New Zealand is home to a rapidly growing economy and similarly rapidly growing cities, as more and more refugees, namely from Southeast Asia arrived. Now, New Zealand is a crucial part of the Assembly, holding massive farmlands along with arcologes holding tens of millions.
Republic of Hong Kong
Gaining Independence following the Hong Kong Independence Referendum of 1991 from the British Empire to the dismay of the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong rapidly became a local economic and technological hub, while hosting both British Commonwealth and NATO, and even EU Troops.. Eventually, Hong Kong joined the GDI, then eventually founded the Assembly. Holding not only the three primary districts of Hong Kong, The ROHK Also controls a sizable portion of Shenzhen, holding the Shenzhen Tiberium Barrier.
The Kingdom of Hawai'i
Gaining eventual De-facto Independence from the United States of America during the second Tiberium War, the Treaty of Honolulu secured the Kingdom a place in the growing GDI just before the Third Tiberium War. Hawai'i eventually joined the Pacific Assembly as a Member State following the Third war. Being the core of multiple conflicts against NOD, Hawai'i is a Major military hub.
Republic of Singapore Emergency Government in Oceania
As Tiberium spreaded through Malaysia, Singapore acted, trying to delay Tiberium spread. Following the Treaty of the Pacific, joining the assembly, it is clear that Singapore will be eventually overrun with Tiberium, thus the city of New Singapore was established off the Eastern coast of Australia, being a sizable economic powerhouse despite its small size.
Pacific Assembly Antarctic Authority
Controlled jointly between the GDI and the Assembly, the Assembly's Antarctic Regions consists of the combined Australian and New Zealand Antarctic claims. The only city in the Assembly's Antarctic Regions, Retreat, has a population of just over 1.5 Million.
Filipino Governmental Authority ( Oceania)
As the Philippines started to shift into a red zone, the government decided to emigrate the entire population. With the cooperation of the Assembly, five massive, floating cities were established, each holding three million people. Meanwhile, a massive migration of Filipinos to Oceania was underway, with almost a third of the population of the Philipines having been moved to Oceania by the time of the transfer.
Military
Prior to the First Tiberium War, all nations still had their own respective armed forces. However, as the war went on, those militaries began to integrate into the rapidly expanding Global Defense Initiative..
At the end of the war, most nations in the East, including in Asia and Oceania, with the exception of the PRC, had integrated their militaries into the GDI. This in return effectively leaves said countries without any means to defend themselves other than relying on GDI garrisons. Not only that, due to the unique, warm climate of Asia and Oceania, the spread of Tiberium went much quicker than even the worst predictions, until only few blue zones in coastal areas remained, which in turn, caused a refugee crisis in a scale never before seen, requiring massive arcologies to be able to house the dwindling population.
Following the devastation of the Second Tiberium War, the remaining governments of Asia and Oceania had decided to form the United Pacific Federal Assembly (UPFA), this was done due to the increasing Nod presence in the Malay peninsula and mainland Asia.
Following the Third Tiberium War and the Fourth Tiberium War, the Assembly continued to grow, and following the third war, established the Pacific Assembly Armed Forces, under GDI Authority.
Following the events of 17'th July, 2077, the " Transferration", GDI Forces have been referred to the control of the PAAF / AAF commands of the GDI.

21st Infantry Brigade "Ashigaru" (Yokohama,JPN)
The 21st Infantry Brigade, named " Ashigaru" after a historic type of Infantry employed by the feudal realms of ancient Feudal Japan, are a light, rapid-assault Brigade, famous for their actions during the evacuation of New Taipei in the Second Tiberium War. There, they stood unyielding against the forces of the invading Brotherhood of Nod, suffering a casualty rate of 89.5%, but succeeding in their operation of defending a civillan retreat and delaying NOD Forces until reinforcements arrived.
34th Infantry Battalion "Hwarang." (Seoul,ROK)
The 34th Infantry Battalion, named " Hwarang", named after ancient Korea " Flowering knights", made their name well known, and marked in history, being one of the first GDI Troops which achieved one of the first victories by the GDI against the alien race only known as the Scrin during the Third battle of Seoul, bringing devastating losses to the invaders. Nicknamed " Suckerpunch" by other GDI forces due to their sheer combat effectiveness, the battalion is highly expierenced in combat, against human or otherwise. 10th Marine Brigade "Kowloon Lancers" (Chek Lap Kok, ROHK)
The Tenth Marine Brigade, originating from their namesake, the Republic of Hong Kong District of Kowloon Bay. The Kowloon Lancers, along with the Blue Dragoons, gained infamy during the Second Battle of Shenzhen River, holding off a NOD force over five times their number with little to no losses until reinforcements arrived, before leading a sucessful counterattack against NOD Forces. The current commanding officer of the 10th Marine brigade is Lieutenant Colonel Cyrus Wong.
30th Airborne Division "Blue Dragoons" (New Taipei,ROC}
The 30th Airborne Division, nicknamed the Blue Dragoons, are a division-sized Airborne Assault force based in Taiwan, and more specifically the city of New Taipei. Gaining fame by engaging in the Second Battle of Shenzhen River, cutting through NOD Forces despite being highly outnumbered. Equipped with advanced VTOL Aircraft, the 30th Airborne Division are one of the most respected forces in the GDI. The current commanding officer of the 30th Airborne Division is Major General Oscar Daniels.
224th Fighter Squadron " Ghosts of the Pacific "
The 224th Fighter Squadron, called "Ghosts of the Pacific", are a infamous fighter squadron operating top-of-the-tine GDI { fill in } Fighters. The Squadron gained infamy as every single member of the squadron have 10+ Aerial Victories, all classed as " Double Aces". The Squadron are the best of the best of the GDI Air Force. The current CO of the 224th Fighter squadron is Lieutenant Colonel Oliver Swannel.
1st Pacific Commando Regiment ( Randwich, New South Wales, AUS)
The First Commando Regiment evolved from the Australian First commando Regiment. Highly classified, these personnel are the best of the best the GDI Has to offer, expertising in all kinds of elite operations. The commanding officer of the First Commando Regiment is Colonel Wong Hoi Yan.
GDI Third Exoatmospheric Fleet
Being founded during the late stages of the Incursion War, the GDI Third Exoatmospheric Fleet was under the command of the GDI Eastern Forces Command. Gaining fame in one of the few exoatmospheric battles against a NOD Exoatmospheric Fleet, the GDI Third Exoatmospheric consists of 21
Ships, with the flagship being the GDES Fuji under command of COL. Andrew Lee.
GDI Seventh Fleet
The GDI Seventh Fleet, inherited from the various Asian navies including the Japanese and Korean Navies, along with the United States Seventh Fleet. Holding over one hundred vessels, the flagship of the fleet is the GDIS Asiana (CVN-217), based in Okinawa, Japan. The fleet consists of three Carrier strike groups ( Asiana Strike Group- CVN-217, Pacifica Strike Group- CVN-204), Oceania Strike Group- CVN-218 and a Battleship squadron ( 7th Battleship Squadron, Everest BB(G)-52, Vanguard BB(G)-41, Yamato BB(G)-37, Musashi BB(G)-38 along with multiple escort flotillas. The GDI Seventh Fleet is the second largest GDI Fleet, just behind the GDI First Fleet. The active CO of the Seventh fleet is Vice Admiral Leonardo Chambers.
224'th Special Operations Squadron " Icicle"
Operating under the GDI Armed Forces, the 224th Special Operations Squadron, nicknamed " Icicle", is an elite special forces unit operating multiple of the most advanced GDI AIrcraft. They are famed for parcipitating in the Alice Spring Blitz, being one of the first units to respond to the NOD Raid. Colonel Julia Bradford is the CO of the Squadron.
SOCOM SPECOPS Orbital Insertion Team 77-2, 227th Special Operations Regiment, Second Operations Brigade
Operating under the GDI Special Operations Command and later, PAMS Sydney, Special Operations Team 77-2-227 consists of twenty-five Expert GDI Special Forces Personnel. Easily superior to even Commandos and the famed SEAL Teams, they are the best of the best of GDI Military personnel, operating directly under the Assembly Minister of Defence. Team 77-2's commanding officer is Colonel [ CLASSIFIED], a Special Operations Veteran.
