Chapter 23

A month would pass.

In that timeframe, they managed to do the movie without incident. They added great details to Zelda's interaction with the king and queen of the past. But Ganondorf truly got to shine this time around.

The Link actor came by here and there, almost curious to see how far they have gotten without him. Sukuna had told the director that every day, she needs to pressure him to be ready for the set since time is against them. She didn't understand why at first, until a week into it, she understood.

Whenever this actor is told what to do, he will do everything possible to get out of it! She realized that to keep him away from the set, she demanded he be on it… that was when the excuses came rolling in and he was no where to be found when told to be ready.

As such, they continued to film. It was a rather interesting ambition, Sukuna never thought he would have fun with this, but it became far more entertaining when he was able to use curse energy!

The equipment sent by Muta had film cameras that can pick up on curse energy, he already broke down the one Trigun was using back in the day and replicated it. When he used it the first time on set, Sukuna paused as the director was rendered silent to it. She saw it for the first time, when they were shooting the scene where Ganondorf gains a secret stone.

The red energy that turns his body demonic… it… was perfect.

When the scene ended, she had to approach him. He saw that look on her face. Fear and yet… utter curiosity.

"What… was that?" she asked nervously. "Was that… something… abnormal?"

He smirked to this. "Do you really wish to know? If you don't, they are merely… special effects, nod if you agree" he asked bluntly.

Amazingly, she nodded to it!

"I… can plead ignorance." She said gently. "But… you can do your own effects… this will save us millions!" she decreed. "Needless to say what will be added to your cheque."

This is rather lucrative…

Before long, everything was wrapped up… but one final part.

Ryoto was bouncing all over the place when he learned the final scene needs to be shot, everyone from the cast would be there to see it, since after all. The actor for Link is finally motivated to work.

"I think it's about time I sunk my teeth into this. So, we need to do the opening scene right? Where we confront that mummy Ganondorf right?"

The set had been set up, but unbeknown to the Link actor…

"Whoa, that's one big ass animatronic!" He was hovering over the table where Ryoto's father laid perfectly still. Ryoto knows his father used his power to make him look like a corpse but it made the scene perfect. He was on pins and needles waiting for this to be shot.

"What the hell is this thing made out of? It almost looks real!" he said as he began to poke father in an annoying way. Shockingly enough, he didn't flinch, not once.

'Uncle Gojo is good for something at least… He must have trained him for this' Ryoto thought to himself. He recalled his uncle would purposely poke his father to get his attention and annoy him.

"PLACES!" the director called.

They set everything up, and yet, before they started, the actor for Link paused. "Is this… the whole cast? They came out to support me?! How wonderful!" he cheered.

Yes… support him…

Ryoto hid himself as he smiled away the notion, if he saw his grin, the actor would know something more was happening. So he settled himself and got a front row seat.

The scene played out.

Just like the start of his game, the mummy on the alter woke. "Is that the sword that seals the darkness?!" he did a perfect contortion up and off the table part way, but it was just like the game, very creepy.

'Father is so cool…' Ryoto thought.

The scene went perfect. His father appeared dominating, fearful and a menace to the world!

"CUT!"

Then at the flick of a switch, he went limp.

The Link actor was pale, but he recovered and caught his breath. "Whew… that was intense, for a puppet… it was okay" he said offhandedly and walked by his father. He was pale, shaking and was nervous to be around the table. Yet he was trying to look brave or tough. He was quick to move away from it to brag to the masses. "I mean, if that were real, sure that would be scary…"

All the while as he spoke, he didn't see Ryoto's father slowly sit himself up. He didn't tell anyone either but he also hid a camera to record all this. In fact, Ryoto has a blooper reel to fall back on later!

Anyways, he was smiling as the actor went on and on. "It could have been better, I mean, the Ganondorf puppet isn't all that great, you could see how fake it is a mile away…"

Ryoto could barely contain his laughter. His father was stretching himself out, scratched himself before peering at the Link actor. He then glared down and made his move.

Tap, tap, Tap.

The actor turned, and saw the so called 'puppet' wasn't on the table.

"How could I have made it more realistic?" Father questioned. "Please… enlighten me!"

DROP!

He fainted…

The actor who is to play the fearless swordsman Link… fainted.

"WE'RE GOING TO NEED WARDROB HERE… AND A MOP!" Ryoto called, since after all… a very pungent smell began to flood the set…
