Chapter 68: Prof. Ivy and Team Snagem
Hello everyone, this week's chapter will mainly cover the gang meeting Prof. Ivy and encountering a new evil team. This chapter is long, and I hope you all enjoy it.
The chapter begins 1 week after the last chapter ended. During this time the gang got to spend more time with their new fossil Pokémon. Brock's Arctozolt is very happy go lucky it loves to relax, sometimes helps Brock make Ice Cream and has a great relationship with all of the groups Pokémon. Brock's Shieldon after meeting Arctozolt and seeing the group's new fossil Pokémon has gotten more motivation to train as it wants to grow stronger making Brock happy. Leaf's shiny Arctozolt is pretty similar to Brock's, it loves to play and has a rivalry with not just Leaf's other fossil Pokémon but also Ash's Dracovish. Misty's Arctovish is mainly a chill Pokémon and just loves to relax. It tends to sleep a lot and allows the groups smaller Pokémon to play on it. Misty's Tortuga has also been receiving some training from Arctovish. Ash's Dracovish is a very fun Pokémon bringing smiles to everyone. Dracovish has a great relationship with Ash's Water and Dragon type Pokémon. Dracovish whenever it's at Oak's lab receives training from Ash's Gyarados, Tyrantrum, Krookodile, Gabite, Crocalor, and Croconaw they help it teach Dracovish new moves and increase its biting strength. Dracovish has also been trying to learn a new biting move but none of the group knows what it's trying to do. Also, during this time, the Johto, Sinnoh, and Unova leagues happened.
The group learned that Ritchie's friend Tyson won the Johto league by beating a trainer named Cross in the finals. Tyson challenged the Elite 4 he managed to beat the first 3 but was unable to beat Koga who recently became a member of the Johto Elite 4. In the Sinnoh region Diamond won the Sinnoh league and defeated a trainer named Jimmy in the finals. Diamond also challenged the Elite 4 he defeated all of them and made it to Cynthia. Diamond and Cynthia had an intense battle, but Diamond lost in the end as his Infernape lost to Cynthia's Garchomp. In the Unova league there was no winner as a group called Team Plasma interrupted the league. There was a big battle involving the gym leaders, Elite 4, and champion. The battle was long, but the good side won with Hilbert and Hilda awakening a dragon Pokémon called Zekrom that helped defeat Team Plasma. After that the dragon disappeared. While some of the members were taken into custody the boss along with some of the other members managed to escape. The champion of the Unova league named Alder then announced that there won't be another league tournament for the next 5 years because of the damage the stadium received. Iris and Cilan called the gang, letting them know that they were safe, making the group happy.
Ash's Meltan during the week has been receiving training too. Like Rowlet it tends to be lazy but is strong in battles. Meltan was able to easily defeat a trainers' Poliwhirl easily with Flash Cannon and Thundershock. Meltan also accidentally ate Brock's favorite frying pan making him sad but Ash was able to buy Brock a new one. Leaf has also been a great traveling companion for the group she helps Brock with cooking (with Misty learning), plays with the Pokémon, talks about girly things with Misty and has training battles with Ash. We now see the group a on a ferry boat heading for Valencia Island. On the deck we see Misty relaxing in a lounge chair, she's in a red swimsuit and wearing sunglasses. Next to her in separate chairs we see Togepi, Sobble, Psyduck, Golisopod, Arctovish, and Finizen (Quaxly isn't here because Misty's sisters wanted to use it in a water ballet show). They're relaxing too while also wearing sunglasses as Misty speaks.
"This is nice" Misty says with her Pokémon agreeing. Next, we see Brock along with his Pokémon consisting of Onix, Kangaskan, Nacli, Shieldon, Lycanroc and Croagunk. They're currently working in a food stand handing out food to many of the guests. The reason as to why Brock is doing this is because he wanted to try to earn some extra money for the group to buy more supplies and help the staff. He also wanted to see if he could meet some girls but every time, he tries Croagunk manages to keep him in check. Ash and Leaf are on the deck too and are playing tag with their Pokémon. Leaf's Pokémon consists of Venusaur, Boltund, Obstagoon, Talonflame, Mudsdale, and Arctozolt. Ash's Pokémon consist of Pikachu, Rowlet, Riolu, Froakie, Meltan, and Dracovish. They all continue to play until they hear a voice.
"We are now reaching Valencia Island!" The voice on the speaker says causing the group to stop what they're doing as they all go to the edge of the deck Brock then speaks.
"Look there it is!" Brock says as the group can see the island, they all have smiles on their faces as Misty speaks.
"We've finally made it" Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"Mysterious Pokeball here we come!" Leaf cheers along with her Pokémon. Ash along with his Pokémon continue to look towards the island in silence. Misty looks at Ash and speaks.
"Something bothering you, Ash?" Misty asks as Ash looks at her and speaks.
"Nope I'm just looking forward to seeing that mysterious Pokeball and who knows we might get to see some new Pokémon too" Ash responds with Misty nodding. 10 minutes later the ferry boat docked on the island. The group returned their Pokémon except for Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, Togepi, and Sobble. When they touch the ground, they all stretch their bodies as Leaf speaks.
"You know traveling by ship is fun, but it can definitely leave you feeling stiff" Leaf says with the group nodding as Misty speaks.
"So, which way to Prof. Ivy's lab?" Misty asks as Brock pulls out his guidebook, he begins looking through it then speaks.
"In the guidebook it says that if we keep walking along this beach, we should be able to reach the lab in 30 minutes" Brock says with the group nodding as Ash speaks.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Ash says as he begins to run forward with Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, and Leaf right behind him as Brock and Misty speak.
"Wait for us!" The 2 trainers yell as they begin to run after them. Once the group is gone, we see 4 bald men wearing black pants and a red vest they watch the group leave as one of the men speaks.
"Did you hear that Agrev sir it sounded like they were heading to Prof. Ivy's lab" The man says as Agrev speaks.
"Let's follow them, but we'll have to stay hidden so that trainers Riolu doesn't spot us" Agrev says with the other 3 nodding as they begin to follow the group.
30 minutes later we see the group walking alongside a road as they continue to walk Leaf speaks.
"Hey look there it is!" Leaf says while pointing to a white building. The group continue to walk until they make it to the building and walk inside. Once they're inside they see that there's nothing in the building making them confused as Misty speaks.
"Is this the right place?" Misty asks as Brock speaks.
"That's what it says on the guidebook" Brock responds as the group keep looking Pikachu, Riolu, and Froakie notice a floor tile that looks slightly opened and walk to it. When they make it to the tile it's then pushed upward and slaps the 3-mons a few feet away surprising the group as Ash speaks.
"Are you 3, okay?" Ash asks with the 3-mons nodding. Everyone then looks at the floor tile open more as 3 girls with glasses and brown hair appear. They all look at each other as one of the girls speaks.
"Are you visitors?" One of the girls asks as Brock speaks.
"Umm yes that's right we're here to see Prof. Ivy" Brock says as Ash speaks.
"We're currently running an errand for Prof. Oak" Ash says as one of the girls speaks.
"Oh, you must be the trainers that the Professor was talking about" The girl says as another one speaks.
"We'll take you to the Professor she's currently at the cove examining water Pokémon" The girl says with the group nodding. The group then follow the girls down to the cove. When they make it, they feel the light breeze making them smile. They then look at the water and see it moving for a bit. They continue to look until a Gyarados appears letting out a mighty roar surprising the group as Leaf speaks.
"A Gyarados?!" Leaf exclaims the group continue to look until someone speaks.
"Alright good job" The voice says everyone then see a woman with short brown hair in a blue swimsuit next to the sea serpent. She gives it a pat on the head making the mon happy as a Cloyster along with a Goldeen appear. The woman looks at them then speaks.
"Yes, you're all looking great and have no health problems at all" The woman says making the Pokémon smile as one of the girls speaks.
"Professor the trainers that Prof. Oak sent are here!" The girl says catching Ivy's attention as she looks at the beach then gets on Gyarados's head as the sea serpent begins to swim towards them. Once Gyarados gets close enough Ivy jumps off of Gyarados's head one of the girls throws a lab coat at Ivy allowing her to catch it. Ivy then lands on the beach she looks at the group and speaks.
"Hello there, my name's Prof. Ivy it's nice to meet you" The woman says the group have surprised looks on their faces but then recompose themselves as Ash speaks.
"Hello, my name's Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and these are my Pokemon Pikachu, Riolu, and Froakie" Ash says the 3 mons say hello as Misty speaks.
"My name's Misty from Cerulean City and these are Sobble and Togepi" Misty says as the 2 mons say hello Leaf then speaks.
"My name's Leaf Green and I'm also from Pallet Town" Leaf says. Professor Ivy nods saying hello to the 3 trainers and their Pokémon. Ivy then looks at Brock whose face is bright red then speaks.
"And who might you be?" Ivy asks while looking at Brock as he speaks.
"My… Name is Brock… and It's a pleasure to meet you mam." Brock says while stuttering and blushing profusely. Ivy greets him as well as Ash speaks.
"So, will you show us that mysterious Pokeball?" Ash asks as Ivy speaks.
"Why yes I will come to my lab I'll show you" Ivy says with the group nodding as they all begin heading back to Ivy's lab. As they're walking Riolu feels something she's about to investigate as Ash speaks.
"Riolu come on we don't want to leave you behind!" Ash says with the aura puppy nodding as she quickly runs over to Ash. Meanwhile hidden behind a wall we see the same bald men from earlier as one of them speaks.
"That was close" One of the men says as another one speaks.
"When should we strike Agrev sir?" Another man asks as Agrev speaks.
"We strike at night" Agrev responds with the other 3 nodding. Back with the group they're now inside Ivy's lab we see the woman walk over to a machine then presses a button that reveals a Pokeball. The group looks at it as Ash speaks.
"So, this is the mysterious Pokeball?" Ash says as Brock speaks.
"I've never seen a Pokeball like this before" Brock says as Misty speaks.
"It's also colored in gold/silver" Misty says as Ivy speaks.
"Yes, we call it the GS Ball" Ivy says as Ash speaks.
"The GS Ball?" Ash says Leaf then takes a closer look at the ball she sees two letters and speaks.
"Oh, I get it, it's because it has alphabet letters that look like G and S" Leaf says as Ivy speaks.
"Yes, that's right" Ivy says as Brock speaks.
"How'd you come across this Pokeball?" Brock asks as Ivy speaks.
"Well one day when I was doing my examinations on the water Pokémon, I noticed something shiny on the beach. I swam over and found this ball" Ivy responds with the group nodding as Misty speaks.
"So can you really not transfer/open it?" Misty asks as Ivy looks at one of her assistant's turn on the transfer machine. When the machine turns on the ball doesn't disappear as Ivy speaks.
"As you can see, we can't transfer it. We've also tried many ways to open it too but nothing seems to work" Ivy says with the group nodding. Ivy then picks up the ball, walks over to Ash and speaks.
"That's why I'm giving it to Prof. Oak since he has a great knowledge in Pokémon, I'm hoping he along with his granddaughter Daisy are able to unlock the secrets of this ball. Can I leave this in your hands to deliver it to him Ash?" Ivy asks while looking at Ash. Ash smiles then speaks.
"Yeah, you can count on me" Ash responds while having a determined look on his face with his Pokémon having the same look making Ivy along with her assistant's smile. Ivy then hands Ash the ball, Ash goes to the nearest phone and begins to dial Prof. Oak's number. The phone rings 3 times until Prof. Oak appears on the screen then speaks.
"Hello this is Prof. Oak spe- Oh Ash" Oak says having an excited look on his face as Ash speaks.
"Hi Prof. Oak, we've safely arrived on Valencia Island and we've the GS Ball" Ash says while showing the ball to Oak. Oak looks at the ball then speaks.
"So, that's the mysterious Pokeball and did you just call it the GS Ball?" Oak asks as Prof. Ivy then comes to the monitor and speaks.
"Yes, that's the name I gave it" Ivy says as Oak speaks.
"Ah Prof. Ivy it's been a while I read your book on regional variants and enjoyed it very much. Also, I forgot that you called that Pokeball the GS Ball in your email." Oak says making Ivy smile as she speaks.
"Thank you Professor I did a lot of research on how it's possible for Pokémon to change depending on the environment and food" Ivy says she then begins to talk more about her research until Ash manages to remind her on the GS Ball. Ivy says sorry then looks at Oak and speaks.
"Anyway Prof. Oak I hope you along with Daisy are able to figure out the secrets of the GS Ball" Ivy says with Oak nodding as he speaks.
"Thank you and we'll try our best" Oak says with Ash and Ivy nodding. After that the phone call ends with Oak telling Ash to take care and for him along with Misty, Brock, and Leaf to come home safely. We're now back in Prof. Ivy's lab; the group are standing inside as Leaf speaks.
"Now that we've the GS Ball looks like we can go back home" Leaf says as Misty speaks.
"When's the next boat to Pallet Town Brock?" Misty asks as Brock speaks.
"From my guidebook it says that the next boat leaves tomorrow" Brock says as Ash speaks.
"So, what should we do in the meantime?" Ash asks as Ivy speaks.
"If you all want you can stay here for the night and leave for the boat tomorrow" Ivy suggests surprising the group as they speak.
"Thank you!" The 4 trainers say with Ivy nodding. After that Ivy takes the group out to her garden. As they're walking, they see just how beautiful the trees are, leaving the group in awe as Brock speaks.
"So, this whole area's the garden?" Brock asks as Ivy speaks.
"Yes, it helps us observe how the Pokémon live" Ivy responds with Brock nodding. They continue to walk until Misty notices orange flowers with black swirls on top. She runs over to take a closer look then speaks.
"So, these are the flowers of the Southern islands they're gigantic" Misty says with Togepi and Sobble nodding. When Misty begins to smell the flowers, they suddenly move as a Vileplume appears. The group have surprised looks on their faces as Brock speaks.
"Is that a Vileplume?" Brock asks with Ivy nodding as Leaf speaks.
"But this looks a little different from a Kanto Vileplume is it like a regional form?" Leaf asks as Ivy speaks.
"No regional forms of Pokémon have not only physical/color appearances they also have different typing's. With this Vileplume the only difference is its color." Ivy says with Leaf nodding as Ash speaks.
"So, would it be a shiny instead?" Ash asks as Ivy speaks.
"While that's a possibility it's actually not a shiny as with shiny Pokémon they're born naturally without the environment changing them and are very rare. This Vileplume's color along with some of the other Pokémon here changed because of the Tropical setting and they're very common on this island." Ivy responds with Ash nodding and Leaf taking notes. After that the group see more Kanto Pokémon appear with slightly different colors. The group also see some regional Pokémon including Alolan Geodude, Alolan Rattata, Galarian Zigzagoon and a Palden Tauros (Combat Breed). The group is in awe by the variety as Ivy's assistants then appear having a bunch of Pokemon food with them and begin to feed the Pokemon as Brock speaks.
"Pokémon food huh" Brock says as Ivy speaks.
"Yes, we've made sure to develop different kinds of food for specific Pokémon" Ivy says with Brock nodding as Ivy's assistants continue to hand out the food bowls a Pokémon that looks like a Typhlosion appears the group look at it as Ash speaks.
"Is that a Typhlosion?" Ash asks as Ivy speaks.
"Yes, that's a Hisuian Typhlosion" Ivy says surprising the group Ash and Leaf take out their Pokedex's and begin to scan the mon.
"Typhlosion Hisuian form a Fire/Ghost type said to purify lost, forsaken souls with its flames and guide them to the afterlife. It's believed that its form has been influenced by the energy of the sacred mountain towering at Hisui's center" The Pokedex says the group still have surprised looks on their faces as Leaf speaks.
"How's a Hisuian Typhlosion here?" Leaf asks as Ivy speaks.
"A couple months ago when I was doing some research on Mount Coronet, I found Typhlosion very weak/hungry. I tried to heal it, but Typhlosion denied me from healing it but after a few minutes of convincing Typhlosion allowed me to heal it. After it was healed, I gave it some Pokémon food and when I was about to leave Typhlosion started to follow me wanting to stay by my side. After that I captured it with a Pokeball and we've been together ever since." Ivy responds with the group nodding as they see Typhlosion get handed a bowl of Pokémon food and begins to eat it. Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, Sobble, and Togepi then walk over to Typhlosion saying hi to it. The Ghost Flame Pokémon looks at them and says hi back making the 5-mons happy. Brock then looks at Ivy and speaks.
"Say Prof. Ivy did you raise all of these Pokémon?" Brock asks as Ivy speaks.
"Yes, my assistants and I have raised all of the Pokémon here and I love all of them" Ivy responds while giving her Hisuian Typhlosion a hug making the mon smile. Brock looks at Ivy and is amazed by her as Ash speaks.
"Hey Prof. Ivy, is it okay if we let out our Pokémon?" Ash asks as Ivy speaks.
"That's fine with me" Ivy responds with Ash nodding as he along with Misty, Brock, and Leaf throw their Pokeball's high in the air sending out the Pokémon they've with them currently. All of the groups Pokémon have smiles on their faces as Ivy speaks.
"Oh, wow you all have a great variety of Pokémon and have some that I've never seen before" Ivy says while looking at Meltan, Dracovish, Arctovish, and the 2 Arctozolts. She along with her assistants walk over to them to get a closer look as they're looking Leaf speaks.
"Yep, those are our newly discovered fossil Pokémon and Ash's Meltan" Leaf says as Ivy looks at Meltan then speaks.
"So, this is Meltan I've read a book about it before, but I've never seen one in person" Ivy says while looking at the little Hexagon who smiles at her with Ivy smiling back. Ivy's assistants are amazed by the groups Pokémon they say hi to Misty's Arctovish and the 2 Arctozolts. When they say hi to Dracovish, Dracovish begins to gently nibble on their heads causing the 3 girls to laugh. As the Pokémon are interacting with each other out of the corner of Ash's eye he sees Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, Rowlet, Sobble, and Togepi starting to eat some of the Pokémon food then speaks.
"Hey Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, and Rowlet that food is not yours!" Ash says as Misty speaks.
"The same goes for you too Sobble and Togepi!" Misty exclaims making the 5 mons look at Ash and Misty. Ivy lets out a small chuckle then speaks.
"It's okay we've enough food for everyone here" Ivy says with Ash and Misty nodding making the 5-mons happy as they continue to eat the food. The groups other Pokémon begin to eat too enjoying themselves. As the group continue to watch the Pokémon eat one of Prof. Ivy's assistants walks over to her and speaks.
"Professor Butterfree's not eating again" The girl says with Ivy nodding as she along with the group head over. When they make it, they see a Butterfree with different patterns on its wings laying on a tree Prof. Ivy looks at her assistants and speaks.
"Did we put the nutrients in the food?" Ivy asks with her assistants nodding as they hand her a chart and a bowl of Pokémon food. Ivy looks at the chart and is confused as to why Butterfree's not eating if the nutrients are in the food. Brock then walks over he takes a piece of the food and eats it. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as they watch Brock chew until he swallows. Brock thinks for a couple seconds, smiles, and begins to run away as he speaks.
"I'll be right back!" Brock says as everyone watches him leave. A couple minutes later Brock's back he's currently sitting down while griding in a medicine bowl. Everyone looks at him as Ivy speaks.
"What are you doing?" Ivy asks as Brock speaks.
"Well, when I ate the food, I noticed that something was lacking, and it was flavor" Brock responds as Ivy speaks.
"Flavor?" Ivy questions as Brock speaks.
"Yeah, just like humans Pokémon also like their food to have some flavor in it. Because if it doesn't it'll just taste bitter" Brock says as he then grinds up a berry and sprinkles it on Butterfree's food. When that happens Butterfree flies over it looks at the food and begins to happily eat it. Ivy along with her assistants have surprised looks on their faces as Ivy speaks.
"Amazing after all of the nutrients I thought Butterfree would like it didn't eat it. But after adding some flavor to the food it began to happily eat, I must say it was foolish of me as a professor to forget an important detail like that. Thank you, Brock," Ivy says with Brock saying welcome as Ash speaks.
"Brock's goal is to become the best Pokémon Breeder in the world, so he knows a lot about Pokémon" Ash says with Misty and Leaf nodding in agreement as Ivy speaks.
"A Pokémon Breeder? Yes, I can definitely see that" Ivy says while having a smile on her face. Brock looks at her and blushes a little bit. One of Prof. Ivy's assistants walks over to Brock then speaks.
"Hey Brock since your great at caring for Pokemon how are you with taking care of humans?" The girl says making Brock confused. After that the gang return their Pokemon to their Pokeballs except for Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, Sobble, and Togepi. They head back inside the building and go to Prof. Ivy and her assistant's room. When they reach it, the group have surprised looks on their faces seeing how dirty it is as Misty speaks.
"It's filthy" Misty says with Ash and Leaf nodding as Ivy speaks.
"You see since we're so busy with taking care of the Pokémon we tend to forget to clean" Ivy says with her assistants nodding as Brock speaks.
"Well in that case it's time for me to clean!" Brock exclaims while wearing a pink apron and begins to clean the room. Ivy along with her assistants are surprised by how well and fast Brock's cleaning as Ash speaks.
"You see Brock has a ton of younger siblings, so he's used to cleaning after them" Ash says as Misty speaks.
"He's also a great cook too" Misty says with Leaf agreeing Ivy along with her assistants nod then look back at Brock who's finished cleaning and has now begun cooking. 20 minutes later everyone looks at the table and sees a big spread of food on it. They all have excited looks on their faces as Brock speaks.
"Okay dig in everyone" Brock says with everyone nodding. Ash, Misty, and Leaf are happily eating the food they then see Ivy along with her assistants completely chowing down on the food at a fast rate as one of Ivy's assistants speaks.
"This food's amazing Brock!" The girl says with her sisters and Ivy agreeing they continue to eat the food as Brock speaks.
"Thank you and make sure to save more for seconds" Brock says with the 4 of them nodding as they continue to happily eat Ash then looks at Misty and Leaf then speaks.
"Our Pokémon eat quieter than them" Ash says with the two girls nodding as we see Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, Sobble, and Togepi eating some Pokémon food. Brock continues to watch Ivy and her assistants eat as he smiles and speaks.
"Just like my family" Brock says while remembering his family. After that it's now nighttime we see Ash, Misty, and Leaf along with their Pokémon currently sleeping. Outside in the garden we see Ivy along with her assistants currently looking at a group of Vileplume. As they continue to look, they hear something approaching them from behind and quickly turn around. When they do they see Brock as Ivy speaks.
"So, you're staying up too" Ivy says with Brock nodding as he speaks.
"Yeah, it's cold out here so I thought that you guys would need a blanket and maybe a snack" Brock says making Ivy and her assistant's smile. They then go back to observe the Vileplume Brock sits next to Ivy and speaks.
"Are you observing the Vileplume?" Brock asks with Ivy nodding as she speaks.
"Yes, we're observing their behavior at night as you're probably already aware that Pokémon sometimes act differently at nighttime" Ivy says with Brock nodding. As they continue to observe the Vileplume suddenly a large net appears which traps the Vileplume and begins to burn them making them cry out in pain. Brock, Ivy, and Ivy's assistant's all get shocked looks on their faces as Brock speaks.
"What's this?!" Brock says as Ivy speaks.
"I'm not sure but quick we need to help the Vileplume!" Ivy says with Brock and her assistants nodding. As they begin running, they hear a voice.
"Flamethrower!" The voice says as 3 Flamethrowers head for the 5 humans. Brock notices he quickly grabs a Pokeball and speaks.
"Go! Onix!" Brock says he throws the ball forward as his Onix appears the giant rock snake swings its tail and easily destroys the flames. When that happens, another voice speaks.
"Hydro Pump!" The voice says as a large stream of water blindsides Onix sending it crashing into a few trees then laying on the ground groaning in pain as Brock speaks.
"Onix!" Brock says as he along with Ivy and her assistants have surprised looks on their faces they then turn around and see 4 bald men wearing red vest. 3 of the men have Houndooms while the man in the middle has a Swampert. The 4 men look at the 5 humans as Brock speaks.
"Who're you?!" Brock asks as the man in the middle speaks.
"My name is Agrev and we're part of Team Snagem" Agrev says as Brock speaks.
"Team Snagem?" Brock says as Ivy speaks.
"They're a group of thieves that used to be in the Orrie region but have recently been starting trouble in the Orange Islands by stealing/hurting Pokémon" Ivy says with Brock nodding as Agrev speaks.
"That's right when our boss learned of the different variety of Pokémon you've here, he ordered us to steal them and so far, we've succeeded" Agrev says as behind him, and his men are most of the Pokémon from the garden in cages including Ivy's Hisuian Typhlosion and her Gyarados. Brock, Ivy, and her assistants have shocked looks on their faces as Agrev speaks.
"And now we'll be taking the rest of your Pokémon" Agrev says as Brock speaks.
"I won't let you!" Brock says as he grabs 5 Pokeballs and throws them in the air sending out the rest of his Pokémon who all get into battle stances with Onix joining them. Agrev along with his men look at Brock's Pokémon they're surprised by the variety of Pokémon he has as Agrev speaks.
"You've interesting Pokémon too, not only will we be taking the Pokémon from the garden but yours as well" Agrev says as Brock speaks.
"We'll see about that let's go everyone!" Brock says with his Pokémon roaring in agreement as they all charge forward and begin to battle Agrev's Swampert and the 3 Houndooms. Meanwhile off to the side Ivy along with her assistants manage to get the net off the Vileplumes allowing them to run away. Ivy then looks at her assistants and speaks.
"Quick get back to the house and wake Ash, Misty, and Leaf up Brock won't be able to do this alone" Ivy says with her assistants nodding as the 3 of them begin to quickly run to the house. Meanwhile in the house Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, Sobble, and Togepi wake up from hearing the explosions. Riolu can feel that Brock's in battle and tells the others that they need to wake Ash, Misty, and Leaf up. The other 4 nod Pikachu begins to try shaking Ash awake but the boy is in a deep sleep telling Pikachu 5 more minutes making the yellow mouse annoyed. Pikachu sparks its cheeks and fires a Thunderbolt which shocks the 3 sleeping trainers instantly waking them up and causing them to scream. When Pikachu stops the 3 trainers look at the yellow mouse as Ash speaks.
"What was that for Pikachu?!" Ash asks as he along with Misty and Leaf glare at the yellow mouse. Pikachu along with Riolu, Froakie, Sobble, and Togepi begin to explain, making the 3 humans confused until they hear an explosion. They look out the window and see explosions as Leaf speaks.
"What's going on?" Leaf questions with Ash and Misty wondering the same. Suddenly the door to their room bursts open and they see Ivy's 3 assistants panting heavily. Once they catch their breaths the 3 girls look at them and speak.
"BROCK, PROF. IVY, AND THE POKEMON ARE IN TROUBLE!" The 3 girls exclaim shocking the 3 kids. Ash, Misty, and Leaf quickly put on their clothes, grab their Pokeballs and quickly run outside. Ivy's assistants explained the situation to them, and they hurry to where Brock and Prof. Ivy are as they're running Misty speaks.
"I hope we can make it in time" Misty says with Ash and Leaf nodding as they continue to run. We now come back to where Brock and Prof. Ivy are with Brock battling team Snagem as he calls for a command.
"Lycanroc use Accelrock!" Brock calls his Lycanroc shoots forward going to hit one of the Houndooms as one of the men speaks.
"Use Protect!" The man says as his Houndoom summons a protective barrier blocking Lycanrocs attack and making it bounce away. Once it lands it sees 2 more Houndooms heat up their mouths as the other 2 men speak.
"Use Fire Blast!" The 2 men call their Houndooms fire a big blast of fire that heads for Lycanroc as Brock speaks.
"Shieldon, Nacli use Protect!" Brock calls the 2 mons quickly jump in front of Lycanroc they summon a protective barrier blocking the 2 blasts of fire creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Brock's Croagunk and Kangaskan they head for the 2 Houndooms as Brock speaks.
"Croagunk use Brick Break and Kangaskan use Power Up Punch!" Brock calls Croagunks and Kangaskans fists glow white and orange respectively they go to hit the 2 Houndooms as Agrev speaks.
"Swampert use Hydro Pump!" "Arctozolt use Thunderbolt!" Both trainers call Agrev's Swampert fires the large stream of water while Brock's Arctozolt fires the bolt of electricity. The 2 moves collide creating an explosion and a cloud of dust. Out of the dust appears Brock's Croagunk and Kangaskan they charge forward and hit the 2 Houndooms causing damage and knocking them back to their trainers making them crash below their feet knocked out surprising them as the other man speaks.
"Houndoom use Fire Blast on those 2!" The man says as his Houndoom fires the big blast of fire it goes to hit Croagunk and Kangaskan as Brock speaks.
"Onix use Stone Edge then Iron Head!" Brock calls Onix roars as it fires a large sharp stone that cuts through the Fire Blast and hits the Houndoom causing super effective damage. Onix covers its head in steel energy charges forward and hits the Houndoom sending it flying until it crashes below its trainers' feet knocked out Brock then speaks.
"Yeah! great job everyone let's keep this up!" Brock says with his Pokémon nodding. Meanwhile, Prof. Ivy looks at Brock and is impressed with him. Agrev has an annoyed look on his face he looks at his men then speaks.
"What're you fools doing?! Hurry up and bring out your other Pokemon!" Agrev yells with his men nodding. They return their Houndooms then they each throw 3 Pokeballs in the air sending out 3 Weezings, 3 Honchkrows, and 3 Ariados's. The 9-mons glare at Brocks Pokémon with Brocks Pokémon glaring at them as Brock speaks.
"This may be trouble" Brock says to himself as the 3 men command their Pokemon to attack the 9-mons roar as they all fire a Dark Pulse that combine into one. As the big beam is about to hit Brocks Pokémon everyone hears voices.
"Pikachu Thunderbolt!" "Golisopod Scald!" "Venusaur Razor Leaf!" The voices say as everyone sees the 3 moves collide with the big Dark Pulse creating an explosion along with a strong wind. When the explosion clears Brock along with his Pokémon and Ivy turn around and smile when they see Ash, Misty, and Leaf along with their Pokémon as Ash speaks.
"We're here to help!" Ash says with Misty, and Leaf nodding as Brock speaks.
"Thanks guys" Brock says while smiling. Agrev's getting more annoyed he looks at his men then speaks.
"Deal with those 3 I'll take care of this one myself" Agrev says with the 3 men nodding as they along with their Pokémon go over to their respective opponent. Man 3 goes to Leaf; Man 2 goes to Misty, and Man 1 goes to Ash. Man 3 looks at Leaf and speaks.
"Get ready to have your Pokémon taken little girl" Man 3 says as Leaf speaks.
"We'll see about that let's go guys!" Leaf says with her Pokémon roaring in agreement. We then go over to Man 2 and Misty they look at each other as Misty speaks.
"You'll pay for not only hurting the Pokémon but also ruining my beauty sleep!" Misty says with her Pokémon nodding as Man 2 speaks.
"Well after I'm done with you, you'll sleep permanently" Man 2 says as his Pokémon and Misty's Pokémon (other than Togepi) begin to battle. We now go over to Ash and Man 1 they look at each other as Man 1 speaks.
"Now that I take a closer look at you aren't you that kid that made it to the top 4 in the Indigo League?" Man 1 asks as Ash speaks.
"Yep, that's me" Ash responds as Man 1 smiles then speaks.
"Well, isn't this a great opportunity if I remember correctly your Riolu used Aura Sphere and you also have some interesting Pokémon. Once I beat you, I'll be taking your Pokémon" Man 1 says while smiling as Ash speaks.
"You can try but you'll lose Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Ash calls Pikachu quickly fires the electric bolt as Man 1 speaks.
"Honchkrow use Protect! And Ariados, Weezing use Sludge Bomb!" Man 1 calls the boss bird quickly summons a protective barrier blocking the attack. Weezing and Ariados then fire multiple bombs of poisonous sludge as Ash speaks.
"Riolu Aura Sphere, Froakie Water Pulse, and Meltan use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls the 3-mons fire their moves easily getting rid of all the Sludge Bombs and almost hit Weezing and Ariados but they manage to dodge. Rowlet along with Dracovish begin running/flying forward heading for Weezing and Ariados as Ash speaks.
"Rowlet use Aerial Ace on Ariados and Dracovish use Crunch on Weezing!" Ash calls Rowlet speeds up while Dracovish covers its teeth in dark energy, Man 1 then speaks.
"Honchkrow counter with your Aerial Ace and Weezing use Thunder!" Man 1 calls his Honchkrow shoots forward and collides with Rowlet. The two flying types begin trying to push their opponent back but then back away from each other. Weezing fires a large bolt of electricity that hits Dracovish causing it to cry out in pain. But Dracovish roars it destroys the Thunder and successfully bites Weezing. Man 1 has a surprised look on his face as Ash speaks.
"Great job Dracovish!" Ash cheers along with his Pokémon as Man 1 speaks.
"Weezing use Gyro Ball!" Man 1 calls Weezing glows in steel energy and begins to spin making Dracovish spin too. Dracovish tries to keep its grip on Weezing but eventually let's go allowing for Weezing to fly back in the air and Dracovish sliding back as Man 1 speaks.
"Ariados, Honchkrow, and Weezing use Dark Pulse on Dracovish!" Man 1 calls the 3-mons fire the stream of dark energy that combine into one. The big Dark Pulse heads for Dracovish as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu Thunderbolt, Riolu Aura Sphere, and Froakie use Water Pulse!" Ash calls as the 3 mons quickly fire their moves that also combine and collide with the big Dark Pulse. The 2 big beams fight back and forth for a little bit until they explode creating a dust cloud. Once the dust clears Ash along with his Pokémon glare at Man 1 and his Pokemon as Ash speaks.
"Man, I wasn't expecting him to be so tough, but we're not done yet let's go guys!" Ash says with his Pokémon roaring in agreement as they continue their battle with Man 1's Pokémon. We now come back to Brock, Ivy, and Agrev. The 3 humans along with their Pokémon are staring at each other as Agrev pulls out 2 more Pokeballs and speaks.
"Come out!" Agrev says he throws the balls up in the air sending out a Shiftry and a Machamp. The 2 mons stand next to Swampert and glare at Brocks Pokémon with Brocks Pokémon glaring back as Ivy speaks.
"I'm sorry that I'm not able to help you Brock" Ivy says as Brock speaks.
"It's fine I'm confident that I can beat him. Also, while I'm distracting him it should give you a chance to save the Pokémon" Brock says with Ivy nodding she begins to run away as Agrev speaks.
"You're not going anywhere Swampert use Hydro Pump!" Agrev calls Swampert fires the stream of water it heads for Ivy as Brock speaks.
"Arctozolt use Thunder!" Brock calls Arctozolt quickly fires the large bolt of electricity which destroys the Hydro Pump and allows Ivy to escape. Agrev then looks over at Brock as the teen speaks.
"Your fight's with me not her!" Brock states as Agrev speaks.
"Fine then I'll gladly take care of you first. Shiftry use Leaf Storm!" Agrev calls Shiftry roars it fires a big storm of leaves towards Brocks Pokémon as Brock speaks.
"Arctozolt counter with Blizzard!" Brock calls Arctozolt roars as it fires a big Blizzard that easily destroys the Leaf Storm and hits Shiftry causing super effective damage. Machamp then appears in front of Arctozolt it has its fists ready as Agrev speaks.
"Use Close Combat!" "Kangaskan intercept it!" Both trainers call when Machamp goes to hit Arctozolt Kangaskan appears in front of it and catches Machamps top two fists. Machamps two lower fist then go to hit Kangaskan as Brock speaks.
"Croagunk use Brick Break then Poison Jab!" Brock calls Croagunk, appears, covers both of its hands in white energy and manages to knock away Machamps fists. Croagunk then covers its left hand in poison and jabs Machamp hard in the stomach making it cough in pain as Brock calls for his next command.
"Now Kangaskan use Hydro Pump!" Brock calls Kangaskan fires a point-blank Hydro Pump at Machamp consuming it and making it go crash into a nearby tree knocked out. Agrev's a little annoyed and calls for his next command.
"Swampert use Hammer Arm!" Agrev calls both of Swamperts arms glow white it jumps forward going to hit Kangaskan and Croagunk as Brock speaks.
"Lycanroc use Accelrock and Onix use Iron Tail!" Brock calls Lycanroc shoots forward at blinding speed and hits Swamperts right side knocking it away. Onix then covers its tail in steel energy and hits Swamperts head making it crash hard on the ground creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears Swampert's knocked out, this makes Agrev angry as he calls for his next command.
"Shiftry use Leaf Storm!" Agrev calls Shiftry roars it fires the storm of leaves towards Onix and Lycanroc as Brock speaks.
"Shieldon, Nacli use Protect! and Arctozolt use Ice Beam!" Brock calls Shieldon and Nacli quickly jump forward summoning their protective barriers blocking the attack. Arctozolt then fires the icy beam that hits Shiftry causing super effective damage. Shiftry cries out in pain until it falls down laying on its stomach in defeat. Brock smiles then speaks.
"We did it!" Brock cheers with his Pokemon cheering too. Agrev has a surprised look on his face he then looks at his men and sees that they're having difficulty with their opponents too as Leaf speaks.
"Arctozolt use Ice Beam on Honchkrow!" "Dodge!" Both trainers call Arctozolt fires the icy beam, but the boss bird dodges by flying in the air. Honchkrow then sees Leaf's Talonflame heading for it as Leaf speaks.
"Talonflame use Flame Charge and Boltund use Wild Charge!" Leaf calls Talonflame heats up its body and hits Honchkrow knocking it towards the ground. Boltund then runs forward, it covers its body in electricity and hits Honchkrow. The boss bird's sent flying until it crashes into a tree then falls on the ground knocked out. Man 3 is surprised but quickly calls for his next command.
"Weezing and Ariados use Sludge Bomb!" Man 3 calls the 2-mons fire multiple bombs of sludge as Leaf speaks.
"Obstagoon use Obstruct!" Leaf calls Obstagoon lets out a mighty roar that easily blows the bombs of sludge away making them hit Weezing and Ariados instead Leaf then calls for her next commands.
"Now Venusaur use Power Whip to slam Weezing on Ariados and Mudsdale use High Horsepower!" Leaf calls Venusaur quickly shoots out multiple green vines that wrap around Weezing. Weezing tries to break free but can't as it's then sent crashing down on Ariados making both mons groan in pain. Leaf's Mudsdale roars, it glows in an orange aura and quickly charges forward. Mudsdale hits both Weezing and Ariados causing super effective damage and making them crash next to Honchkrow making them unconscious. Man 3 has a surprised look on his face as Leaf speaks.
"We did it!" Leaf cheers alongside her Pokemon. We now go to Misty's battle with Man 2 as he speaks.
"Ariados use Dark Pulse!" Man 2 calls Ariados fires the dark stream of energy towards Misty's Psyduck as Misty speaks.
"Golisopod Liquidation!" Misty calls Golisopod appears in front of Psyduck brings out 2 water blades and easily cuts the Dark Pulse in half. Misty calls for her next command.
"Okay Psyduck try Confusion!" Misty calls Psyduck begins to concentrate it builds up psychic energy and fires it at Ariados. The poison spider couldn't dodge in time as the Confusion hits it causing super effective damage and knocking it out. Misty looks at Psyduck and speaks.
"Great job Psyduck you did it!" Misty says happily with Psyduck nodding but it then begins to pant heavily as Misty speaks.
"I guess that was too much for you here take a rest in your Pokeball" Misty says with the duck nodding it goes back in its ball as Man 2 speaks.
"I'm not done yet! Weezing use Take Down and Honchkrow use Sky Attack!" Man 2 calls the 2-mons charge forward as Misty speaks.
"Arctovish use Waterfall!" Misty calls Arctovish covers its body in water then shoots forward colliding with the 2-mons. Weezing and Honchkrow try their best to push Arctovish away, but the mon is too strong as it easily knocks them away making them spin out of control as Misty speaks.
"Now Finizen use Aqua Jet and Liquidation!" "Dodge!" Both trainers call Finizen covers its body in water and shoots forward. Honchkrow manages to readjust itself and dodge in time, but Weezing was unlucky as Finizen hits Weezing with Aqua Jet. Finizens fins then become water blades as it slams them down on Weezing making it crash on the ground becoming unconscious. Meanwhile, high in the air Honchkrow feels something on its back it looks but doesn't see anything as Man 2 speaks.
"Honchkrow use Sky Attack on Finizen!" Man 2 calls when Honchkrow's about to use the move Misty speaks.
"Sobble Hydro Pump!" Misty calls Sobble reveals itself on Honchkrows back it takes a deep breath and fires a large stream of water that sends the boss bird crashing down on the battlefield creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears Honchkrow's laying on its stomach unconscious, Sobble falls from the air but manages to safely land on Golisopods head Misty then speaks.
"Great job guys!" Misty says happily making her Pokemon smile while Man 2 is surprised that he's been defeated. We now go over to Ash's battle with Man 3 the 2 trainers and their Pokemon look at each other as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu, Riolu, and Froakie run forward! Meltan get on Rowlet's back and Rowlet fly in the air! And Dracovish use Water Gun!" Ash calls Pikachu, Riolu, and Froakie begin running forward. Meltan gets on Rowlet as the green owl flies high in the air. Dracovish fires the stream of water as Man 2 speaks.
"Weezing use Thunder on the Water Gun, Ariados use Sludge bomb on the 3 running, and Honchkrow use Aerial Ace on Rowlet!" Man 3 calls Weezing fires the large electric bolt that easily destroys the Water Gun and heads for Dracovish. Ariados begins firing multiple large bombs of poison at Pikachu, Riolu, and Froakie. Up in the air Honchkrow heads for Rowlet and Meltan Ash then speaks.
"Dracovish use Crunch on the Thunder then head for Weezing! Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie dodge the Sludge Bombs and when you get close use Iron Tail, Power Up Punch, and Cut! Rowlet counter with your Aerial Ace!" Ash calls Dracovish covers its teeth in dark energy and bites down on the Thunder easily destroying it. Dracovish then begins running towards Weezing, we then see Pikachu, Riolu, and Froakie easily dodging the Sludge Bombs. The 3 mons keep running/dodging until the Sludge Bombs are gone then jump towards Ariados. Pikachu covers his tail in steel energy, Riolu covers her right fist in orange energy, and Froakie summons a long white blade. The 3-mons make it to Ariados and hit the poison spider hard on the head causing major damage and easily knocking it out.
Up in the air Rowlet begins heading for Honchkrow it speeds up and collides with the bird. The 2-mons begin to try pushing each other back and forth. They keep doing that until Meltan begins to spark its body as Ash speaks.
"Meltan use Thundershock!" "Honchkrow dodge then use Sky Attack!" Both trainers call when Meltan fires the wave of electricity Honchkrow manages to fly back evading the move. The boss bird then glows in a gold aura it heads for Rowlet as Ash speaks.
"Rowlet dodge and Meltan get on Honchkrows back then use Thundershock!" Ash calls Meltan jumps in the air while Rowlet ducks avoiding Honchkrows attack. Meltan lands on Honchkrows back and fires the Thundershock shocking the boss bird causing super effective damage. Rowlet starts flying towards Honchkrow as Ash speaks.
"Rowlet use Aerial Ace and Meltan jump!" Ash calls Rowlet speeds up heading for Honchkrow while Meltan jumps in the air. Before Honchkrow can dodge Rowlet hits Honchkrow hard in the stomach causing the boss bird to cough in pain as it's sent crashing back down on the battlefield knocked out. Meltan then safely lands on Rowlets back the 2-mons have smiles on their faces with Ash smiling too as Man 3 speaks.
"Grrr! Weezing keep using Thunder on Dracovish until you hit it!" "Dracovish dodge then when you get close to Weezing use Crunch!" Both trainers call Weezing sparks up its body and fires another Thunder, but Dracovish manages to dodge. Weezing keeps firing Thunder after Thunder, but Dracovish continues to dodge until it gets close to Weezing covers its teeth in dark energy and bites down on the mon. Weezing groans in pain as Man 3 speaks.
"You already tried this trick, and the same thing will happen Weezing Gyro Ball!" Man 3 calls Weezing glows in steel energy and begins to spin making Dracovish spin too as Ash speaks.
"Hold on Dracovish I know you can do it!" Ash cheers along with Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, Rowlet, and Meltan. Dracovish hears their cheers, it can feel that it's losing its grip on Weezing but Dracovish doesn't want to let go as it begins to bite down harder on Weezing. Weezing and Dracovish continue to spin Weezing tries its best to make Dracovish let go but the fossil hangs on. Dracovish keeps biting down harder and harder it keeps biting down until Weezing stops spinning making Dracovish stop too. Man 3 is surprised while Ash smiles and speaks.
"Great job Dracovish!" Ash cheers along with his other Pokemon as Man 3 speaks.
"Fine if spinning won't work then I'll do this Weezing use Self-destruct!" Man 3 calls Weezing begins to glow as Ash speaks.
"Dracovish quick let go!" Ash calls but Dracovish doesn't it keeps biting down on Weezing trying to make it stop but Weezing continues to glow. Dracovish keeps biting but it's not working as Weezing's about to explode Dracovish roars.
"UNNN! LAAAA!" Dracovish roars as its lower jaw starts to glow in blue energy. Ash notices as Dracovish bites down on Weezing one more time until there's a big explosion creating a strong wind as Ash speaks.
"DRACOVISH!" Ash yells in worry a few seconds later the wind goes away and the smoke clears. Everyone can see Man 3's Weezing laying on the ground knocked out while Dracovish is still standing but panting heavily as Ash speaks.
"You did it Dracovish!" Ash cheers happily along with his other Pokémon, Dracovish looks at Ash and smiles. The fossilized fish quickly runs over to Ash, tackles him to the ground and begins to affectionately nimble on Ash's head making the boy chuckle as he speaks.
"Hahahaha Dracovish stop that tickles" Ash says with Dracovish nodding as it gets off Ash letting him stand up. Ash looks at Dracovish and speaks.
"Great job Dracovish and what was that move you used?" Ash asks but Dracovish doesn't know. Ash then takes out his Pokedex and looks up on the move.
"Fishious Rend a water type move. The user rends the target with its hard gills. If the user attacks before the target, the power of this move is doubled." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"Fishious Rend? I've never heard of this move before, but this must've been the move you've been trying to learn, and it managed to knock out Weezing congrats Dracovish!" Ash says happily while petting Dracovish on the head making the mon smile. Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, Rowlet, and Meltan go over to Dracovish and congratulate it too making the mon happy. Meanwhile Man 3 has a surprised look on his face as he speaks.
"I lost" Man 3 says in disappointment. Meanwhile with Brock and Agrev. Agrev's annoyed that his men lost as Brock speaks.
"It's over for you guys you've lost now release the Pokemon you captured and turn yourselves in!" Brock says while looking at Agrev as he speaks.
"Lost? You think that just because you defeated my 3 Pokémon and defeated my henchmen that I lost? Heh" Agrev says while smirking making Brock confused as Agrev pulls out another Pokeball then speaks.
"I HAVEN'T LOST YET AND THIS POKEMON SHALL BRING ME VICTORY!" Agrev yells, he throws the ball forward as an Ursaring appears. When the mon appears, it's covered in a shadowy aura and has its eyes closed. Once Ursaring opens its eyes the mon lets out a mighty roar creating a big shockwave that shakes the area that everyone's in. When Ursaring's done roaring it looks at Brock's along with Ash's, Misty's, and Leaf's Pokémon then gets into a battle stance with the groups Pokémon doing the same. The gang look at the mon as Misty speaks.
"That's an Ursaring? It looks bigger than a normal Ursaring" Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"Yeah, and what's with that shadowy aura?" Leaf questions but the others don't know as Agrev speaks.
"Oh? You've never heard of this before? This Ursaring is a shadow Pokémon" Agrev says as Brock speaks.
"Shadow Pokémon?" Brock questions as Agrev speaks.
"Shadow Pokémon are Pokémon that have no emotions and makes them more aggressive making them perfect for battle. A scientist back in the Orrie region created this phenomenon so that no one can stand in our way" Agrev says surprising the group as Ash speaks.
"So, that explains why I get the feeling that it's in pain" Ash says as Misty speaks.
"Just how horrible are you?!" Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"Yeah! You just made Ursaring into a machine that only battles!" Leaf says as Agrev speaks.
"Heh well of course you brats wouldn't understand but that's fine as you won't live long anyway. Ursaring get ready!" Agrev says with the bear nodding as it gets in a battle stance Brock speaks.
"Here it comes guys" Brock says with Ash, Misty, and Leaf nodding as their Pokémon get ready (Misty puts Togepi in her backpack) as Agrev speaks.
"Charge Ursaring!" Agrev yells Ursaring lets out a mighty roar it begins running forward as Leaf speaks.
"Mudsdale use High Horsepower!" Leaf calls Mudsdale roars an orange outline appears on its body it then runs forward going to collide with Ursaring as Agrev speaks.
"Slap it away!" Agrev calls when Ursaring and Mudsdale are about to collide Ursaring back hands Mudsdale across the face with its left arm. Mudsdale feels the wind knocked out of it as it's sent flying until it crashes into a tree. Mudsdale falls on the ground and is knocked out. The group have surprised looks on their faces while Agrev smiles and speaks.
"Ursaring use Hyper Beam!" Agrev calls Ursaring creates a big ball of orange energy and fires the big beam at the groups Pokémon as they speak.
"Pikachu use Thunder, Riolu Aura Sphere, Froakie Water Pulse, Rowlet Razor Leaf, Meltan Flash Cannon, and Dracovish Water Gun!" "Golisopod Scald, and Sobble, Arctovish use Hydro Pump!" "Croagunk Sludge Bomb, Arctozolt Ice Beam, Kangaskan, Hydro Pump and Lycanroc, Onix use Stone Edge!" "Venusaur Leaf Storm, Talonflame Fire Blast and Boltund, Arctozolt use Thunder!" Ash, Misty, Brock, and Leaf call. Their Pokémon fire their moves that combine into one big blast and collide with the Hyper Beam. The 2 big beams begin pushing each other back and forth seeing which is stronger. They keep doing that for a few more seconds until there's a big explosion causing the area to shake and creating a big smoke screen. A couple seconds later Ursaring bursts out of the smoke it heads for the group as Ash, Misty, and Brock speak.
"Arctovish use Waterfall!" "Dracovish use Dragon Rush!" "Onix use Iron Head!" The 3 trainers call their Pokémon roar as they cover their bodies in water, dragon, and steel energy respectively then head for Ursaring as Agrev speaks.
"Use Shadow Rush!" Agrev calls Ursaring roars it covers its body in shadow energy and collides with the 3-mons. Arctovish, Dracovish, and Onix try their best to push Ursaring away, but the bear lets out a loud roar and easily knocks the 3 mons away making them go pass their trainers and crashing into a few trees until they fall on the ground groaning in pain. Ash, Misty, and Brock have surprised looks on their faces while Ursaring takes some recoil damage but roars it continues to run forward as Ash and Leaf speak.
"Use Air Slash!" Ash and Leaf call Rowlet and Talonflame flap their wings fast firing multiple slashes of wind at the Bear as Agrev speaks.
"Dodge then use Hammer Arm!" Agrev calls Ursaring easily dodges the slashes of wind then jumps high in the air reaching Rowlet and Talonflame. Both of Ursarings arms glow white as it goes to hit the 2 birds Ash, Misty, and Brock quickly call for their commands.
"Pikachu use Extreme Speed!" "Golisopod, Sobble, and Finizen use Aqua Jet!" "Lycanroc use Accelrock!" The 3 trainers call the 5-mons quickly shoot high in the air and hit Ursaring causing damage to the bear. Ursaring groans in pain but looks at the 5-mons and roars and hits all of them with Hammer Arm sending them crashing down on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Are you guys, okay?!" Ash asks when the dust clears Pikachu, Golisopod, Sobble, Finizen, and Lycanroc are groaning in pain but can still battle as Misty speaks.
"Above you!" Misty exclaims the 5-mons look up and see Ursaring falling towards them having its claws ready as Agrev speaks.
"Now Slash!" "Dodge!" The 3 trainers call before Ursaring can land its attack the 5 mons quickly jump back letting Ursaring slash the ground instead causing it to shake. Ursaring then looks over to its right it sees Riolu, Froakie, and Meltan charging up their attacks as Ash speaks.
"Riolu Aura Sphere, Froakie Water Pulse and Meltan Flash Cannon!" Ash calls the 3-mons fire their moves that combine becoming a big beam it heads for Ursaring as Agrev speaks.
"Knock it away then use Slash!" Agrev calls Ursaring easily knocks the blast away then jumps forward going to attack the 3-mons as Brock speaks.
"Shieldon, Nacli use Protect!" Brock calls Shieldon and Nacli appear in front of Riolu, Froakie, and Meltan. They quickly summon a protective barrier that blocks Ursarings attack. Ursarings claws begin to make the barrier crack making it harder for Shieldon and Nacli to hold the barrier up. Seeing their struggle Brock, Leaf, and Misty quickly call out commands.
"Kangaskan use Power Up Punch and Croagunk use Poison Jab!" "Obstagoon use Night Slash!" "Golisopod use Poison Jab!" The 3 trainers call the 4-mons appear in front of Ursaring they go to hit it as Agrev speaks.
"Block!" Agrev calls Ursaring quickly brings up its arms and blocks the attacks. Ursaring is sent sliding back a few feet but stops itself. Ursaring then sees Pikachu, Boltund, and the 2 Arctozolts running towards it while sparking their bodies as the 3 trainers speak.
"Use Wild Charge!" The 3 trainers call the 4 mons cover their bodies in electricity and continue heading for Ursaring as Agrev speaks.
"Blow them away with Shadow Rush!" Agrev calls Ursaring roars it covers its body in shadow energy runs forward and collides with the 4 mons. They all begin pushing each other back and forth Pikachu, Boltund, and the 2 Arctozolts try their best to knock Ursaring away, but the bear is too strong as Ash, Brock, and Leaf speak.
"Move out of the way!" The 3 trainers call the 4 mons quickly move to the side making Ursaring stumble forward a little bit. Ursaring manages to stop itself, the bear then looks forward and sees Leaf's Venusaur charging up a Solarbeam as Leaf speaks.
"FIRE!" Leaf yells her Venusaur lets out a mighty "SAUR!" as it fires the grassy beam that hits Ursaring and begins pushing it back as Agrev speaks.
"Stand your ground Ursaring and push through that Solarbeam!" Agrev calls Ursaring groans in pain but manages to stop itself and begins walking forward heading for Venusaur as Leaf speaks.
"Man, it's tough Venusaur keep using Solarbeam and Talonflame use Fire Blast!" Leaf calls Venusaur roars it increases the power of its Solarbeam but the bear continues to walk. Talonflame then fires the big blast of fire that consumes Ursaring making it groan in pain, but it continues to walk forward as Ash, Misty, and Brock speak.
"We'll help you Leaf Pikachu use Thunder times 4!" "Sobble use Hydro Pump!" "Lycanroc use Stone Edge!" The 3 trainers call Pikachu fires 4 Thunders, Sobble fires a big stream of water and Lycanroc fires multiple sharp stones. The moves mix together with the Solarbeam and Fire Blast making it harder for Ursaring to hold on. Ursaring tries its best to push the moves back but they're too strong the attacks then consume Ursaring making it roar in pain and creating a big explosion. When the explosion clears the group see Ursaring it's groaning in pain and wobbling back and forth as Misty speaks.
"Did it work?" Misty wonders with Ash, Brock, and Leaf wondering the same. They keep looking at the bear, it stops wobbling then begins to fall forward until it stops itself surprising the group as Agrev speaks.
"Hyper Beam!" Agrev calls Ursaring lets out a mighty roar it fires a giant Hyper Beam at the group and their Pokémon as Brock yells.
"LOOK OUUUUUTTTTTTTTT!" Brock yells as he along with Ash, Misty, Leaf, and their Pokémon jump out of the way dodging the attack. The Hyper Beam keeps going until it hits Prof. Ivy's building, destroying half of it. Ivy's Assistants are still inside the building, they're currently hiding under a table and are screaming out in fear. Ivy looks at the building she has a worried look on her face she wants to go check on her assistants but needs to go save the Pokémon. Ivy turns away and continues heading for the Pokémon. Meanwhile on the battlefield the gang along with their Pokémon cough as Brock speaks.
"Is everyone okay?" Brock asks with everyone nodding as Agrev speaks.
"I must say that was an impressive strategy you made that tactic would've worked on a regular Pokémon but not on a Shadow Pokémon" Agrev says with Ursaring roaring in agreement as Leaf speaks.
"Man, it just won't go down" Leaf says as Misty speaks.
"What more can we do?" Misty asks as Brock speaks.
"I'm not sure but I feel as though the longer we continue to fight Ursaring the more pain it'll feel" Brock says as Ash speaks.
"That's why we gotta somehow make it stop and the only way to do it is to defeat it" Ash says with Brock, Leaf, and Misty nodding. They along with their Pokémon stand back up they look at Ursaring as Agrev speaks.
"So, you still want to continue after witnessing Ursarings power? You should give up there's nothing more you can do" Agrev says as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, we're still going to battle, defeat you, and save the Pokemon!" Ash states as his along with Misty's, Brock's, and Leaf's Pokémon roar in agreement. Agrev smiles then speaks.
"We'll see about that, now! Ursaring use Hyper Beam!" Agrev calls Ursaring fires the beam as Ash and Leaf speak.
"Pikachu use Thunder and Meltan use Flash Cannon!" "Arctozolt use Thunder and Talonflame use Fire Blast!" Both trainers call the 4-mons fire their moves as the 4 attacks combine and collide with the Hyper Beam creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Dracovish, Kangaskan, Golisopod, and Obstagoon they head for Ursaring as their trainers speak.
"Dracovish use Dragon Rush!" "Kangaskan use Power Up Punch!" "Golisopod Liquidation!" "Obstagoon use Night Slash!" The 4 trainers call their Pokémon roar and continue to head for Ursaring as Agrev speaks.
"Dodge Ursaring!" Agrev calls Dracovish goes to hit Ursaring first but the bear dodges to the left. Kangaskan then goes to punch Ursaring but the bear dodges by backing away. Ursaring then sees Golisopod falling towards it, going to hit it with water swords but Ursaring backs away again making the bug samurai slam its blades on the ground instead. Obstagoon goes to slash Ursaring but the bear dodges, Obstagoon keeps trying to hit Ursaring but the bear continues to dodge. Ursaring then gets its right fist ready as Agrev speaks.
"Now Hammer Arm!" "Golisopod block the hit!" Both trainers call when Ursaring goes to hit Obstagoon Golisopod appears it brings up its arms and blocks the attack. Golisopod and Obstagoon are then knocked away crashing into a nearby tree. Ursaring then sees Dracovish on its right side while Kangaskan's on its left side they head for the bear as Ash and Brock speak.
"Dracovish use Fishious Rend!" "Kangaskhan use Strength!" Both trainers call Dracovishs lower jaw glows blue while Kangaskhan bulks up its body and raises its right fist. As both mons are about to hit Ursaring Agrev speaks.
"Jump in the air then use Hammer Arm!" Agrev calls Ursaring quickly jumps in the air narrowly avoiding the two attacks. Both of Ursarings arms then glow white as it falls down and slams both of its arms on Dracovish and Kangaskhans heads making them crash face first on the ground creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears everyone can see that Dracovish and Kangaskhan are knocked out Ursaring roars in victory as Misty and Brock speak.
"Finizen use Aqua Jet!" "Lycanroc use Accelrock!" Both trainers call the two mons shoot forward at blinding speed and hit Ursarings chest making the bear cough in pain as Agrev speaks.
"Smash them with Hammer Arm!" Agrev calls Ursaring roars it brings up its arms going to hit the 2 mons. But unbeknownst to Ursaring Croagunk's behind it and has its hand ready as Brock speaks.
"Croagunk use Poison Jab!" Brock calls Croagunk covers its right hand in poison and jabs Ursarings left leg the bear groans in pain as Agrev speaks.
"Ursaring Seismic Toss!" Agrev calls Ursaring grabs Finizen and Lycanroc spins around knocks them into Croagunk and sends them flying a few feet away making them crash on the ground as they're knocked out. When that happens Riolu and Froakie begin running towards Ursaring the bear sees them as Agrev speaks.
"Use Shadow Rush!" "Riolu, Froakie use Double Team!" Both trainers call Ursaring covers its body in shadow energy and runs toward the 2 mons. When Ursaring goes to hit them Riolu and Froakie create multiple clones of themselves dodging the attack. Ursaring then looks around it sees multiple Froakies and Riolus surrounding it as Ash speaks.
"Now jump in the air and use Vacuum Wave/Bubblebeam!" Ash calls Riolu and Froakie along with their clones jump high in the air. Froakie along with its clones' fire multiple bubbles while Riolu along with its clones' fire multiple Vacuum Waves. The attacks go to hit Ursaring as Agrev speaks.
"Blow them away with Hyper Beam!" Agrev calls Ursaring roars as it fires a big Hyper Beam that destroys the attacks along with Riolu and Froakies clones but the real one's dodge and safely land back on the ground. Ursaring's now in a cloud of smoke it looks around as Leaf speaks.
"Brave Bird!" Leaf calls her Talonflame appears in the smoke its glowing a shiny blue and goes to hit Ursaring as Agrev speaks.
"Counter with Ice Punch!" Agrev calls Ursaring covers its right fist in ice and collides with Talonflame. When the 2 mons collide, they clear out the smoke and begin pushing each other back and forth. Ursaring then gets its left claw ready as Agrev speaks.
"Now Night Slash!" "Dodge Talonflame!" Both trainers call Ursaring covers its left claws in dark energy and goes to hit Talonflame. Talonflame narrowly dodges the attack flying high in the air making Ursaring miss. Ursaring then sees Pikachu, Boltund, and the 2 Arctozolts heading for it as Ash, Leaf, and Brock speak.
"Wild Charge!" The 4 trainers call the 4 mons roar they cover their bodies in electricity and hit Ursaring making it cough in pain as it's sent flying back. Ursaring flies towards Obstagoon and Golisopod who've their claws ready as Leaf and Misty speak.
"Obstagoon Night Slash!" "Golisopod Poison Jab!" Both trainers call Obstagoon covers its left claws in dark energy while Golisopod covers its right claws in poison. The 2-mons roar as they hit Ursarings back sending it towards the sky. Ursaring looks at the sky it sees Rowlet with Meltan and Sobble riding on its back heading for the bear as Ash and Misty speak.
"Rowlet use Razor Leaf and Meltan use Flash Cannon!" "Sobble use Hydro Pump!" Both trainers call the 3-mons fire their moves that hit Ursaring sending it crashing back down on the battlefield. Ursaring groans in pain when it stands back up Ash speaks.
"Riolu Power Up Punch and Froakie use Aerial Ace!" Ash calls Riolu and Froakie appear Riolu covers its right fist in orange energy while Froakie covers its left fist in flying energy. The two mons jump upward and uppercut Ursaring causing damage to the bear. Ursaring groans in pain while Riolu and Froakie smile Agrev then speaks.
"Hammer Arm!" Agrev calls Ursaring covers its right arm in white energy and backhands the 2-mons sending them flying. When Riolu and Froakie are about to hit a tree Golisopod manages to safely catch them. When that happens Ursaring looks forward and sees Arctovish taking a deep breath as Misty speaks.
"Now Blizzard!" Misty calls Arctovish roars as it fires a massive blizzard that consumes Ursaring. The bear groans in pain with its body starting to freeze as Agrev speaks.
"Use Hyper Beam!" "Dodge Arctovish!" Both trainers call Ursaring fires the beam it heads for Arctovish but the mon dodges. When the blizzard's gone Ursaring looks up and sees Onix's tail heading for it as Brock speaks.
"NOW IRON TAIL!" Brock yells Onix roars it covers its tail in steel energy and slams it hard on Ursarings head making the bear crash face first on the ground causing the whole area to shake. When the shaking stops the group looks forward as Leaf speaks.
"Did that work?" Leaf questions with Ash, Misty, and Brock wondering the same. Meanwhile Agrev smiles and speaks.
"Ursaring use Bulk Up!" Agrev calls under Onix's tail everyone can hear Ursaring roar and begins to lift up Onix's tail. Onix presses down harder to keep Ursaring down, but the bear manages to stand back up and pushes Onix's tail away. The gang along with their Pokémon have shocked looks on their faces as Agrev speaks.
"Now Ursaring grab Onix's tail and spin around!" Agrev calls Ursaring grabs Onix's tail and begins to spin the rock snake around. As Ursaring's spinning Onix the giant rock snake accidently hits its allies (Even Talonflame and Rowlet) knocking them away. Ursaring keeps spinning Onix until it lets go of it and lets it crash into a few trees 10 feet away. Ash, Misty, Brock, and Leaf look around they see that all of their Pokémon are down groaning in pain, Ursaring roars in victory while Agrev smiles and speaks.
"It's like I told you brats you can't defeat me" Agrev says while having an evil smile on his face as the gang look at him with anger in their eyes. Off to the side Agrev's men happily cheer for him but while that's happening Prof. Ivy has made it to the Pokémon, she looks at them and speaks.
"Don't worry I promise that I'll get you out" Ivy says with the Pokémon nodding. As Ivy begins to rip the net Man 1 looks behind, he sees Ivy beginning to release the Pokémon as he speaks.
"Agrev sir this woman's trying to release the Pokémon!" Man 1 says as Agrev looks at Ivy he smiles and speaks.
"Well in that case I'll get rid of her Ursaring use Night Slash!" Agrev calls Ursaring roars it covers its claws in dark energy and jumps towards Ivy. The group have shocked looks on their faces as Ash speaks.
"We've to help her!" Ash says as Misty speaks.
"But all of our Pokémon are down" Misty says as Brock speaks.
"Not all of them" Brock says as he points over to where Shieldon and Nacli are. The 2-mons asks Onix if it's able to send them over to where Ursaring is. Onix groans in pain but nods, the 2-mons get on Onix's tail as the rock snake launches them towards Ursaring. As the bear's about to hit Ivy Brock speaks.
"Shieldon, Nacli use Iron Head!" Brock calls the 2-mons cover their heads in steel energy as the hit Ursarings left side. The bear coughs in pain as it's sent flying a few feet away and lands on the ground groaning in pain. Shieldon and Nacli then stand protectively over Prof. Ivy as she speaks.
"Thank you" The woman says with the 2-mons nodding as Leaf speaks.
"Looks like they managed to knock Ursaring away" Leaf says as Brock speaks.
"Yeah, but the battle's not done yet" Brock says as a few seconds later Ursaring stands up it lets out a mighty roar then looks at Shieldon and Nacli who look back at the bear as Agrev speaks.
"Ursaring use Night Slash!" "Shieldon, Nacli use Protect!" Both trainers call Ursaring roars it covers its claws in dark energy and jumps forward. Shieldon and Nacli quickly summon the protective barrier as Ursaring collides with it. Ursaring begins to continuously slash at the barrier with each slash stronger than the last. The barrier cracks a little bit, but Shieldon and Nacli stay strong as Agrev speaks.
"Fine then let's see you block this Ursaring Hyper Beam!" Agrev calls Ursaring roars as it fires a big Hyper Beam that connects with the barrier. The barrier begins to crack more making it harder for Shieldon and Nacli to hold on as Agrev speaks.
"Yes, Ursaring just a little bit more!" Agrev says the bear roars putting more power into the blast it's about to destroy the barrier as Brock speaks.
"NACLI, SHIELDON YOU CAN DO IT I BELIEVE IN YOU!" Brock yells the 2-mons hear Brock's cry and even though the force of the Hyper Beam is strong they won't give up and will protect Prof. Ivy they then roar.
"SHIEL!" "NACLI!" The 2-mons yell as they're then enveloped in a bright white surprising everyone as Agrev speaks.
"No, it can't be!" Agrev says as Brock speaks.
"They're evolving" Brock says as everyone sees the 2-mons change. Shieldon grows 3 inches taller and the shield on its face becomes bigger. Nacli grows a foot taller and gains 4 legs that don't connect to its body. When the evolutions stop what were once Shieldon and Nacli are no more as they're now Bastiodon and Naclstack. The 2-mons roar as they reform their protective barrier and manage to push Ursaring back a few feet away. Everyone has shocked looks on their faces as Ash and Leaf take out their Pokedex's.
"Bastiodon, the Shield Pokémon a Rock/Steel type and the evolved form of Shieldon. Its massively powerful shield-like face can deflect even the strongest of attacks." "Naclstack the Rock Salt Pokemon and the evolved form of Nacli. This Pokémon compresses rock salt inside its body and shoots out hardened salt pellets with enough force to perforate an iron sheet." The Pokedex says as Misty speaks.
"Whoa! that's amazing they evolved" Misty says happily with Leaf smiling too as Ash speaks.
"Yeah! Brock your voice reached them" Ash says Brock looks at his 3 friends he smiles then speaks.
"Yeah, you're right" Brock says he then looks over at Bastiodon and Naclstack and speaks.
"Congratulations on evolving you too!" Brock says as the 2-mons look at him and smile. Meanwhile, Agrev's getting annoyed and speaks.
"Just because they've evolved doesn't mean anything Ursaring use Shadow Rush!" Agrev calls Ursaring roars it covers its body in shadow energy then runs forward as Brock speaks.
"Bastiodon use Iron Defense!" Brock calls Bastiodon's body glows in steel energy as Ursaring connects with it. Ursaring tries to push Bastiodon back, but the shield Pokemon doesn't move an inch. Agrev has a surprised look on his face as Brock speaks.
"Bastiodon are known for their very high defenses, so your Ursaring won't be able to move it!" Brock says in confidence. Ash, Misty, and Leaf begin to cheer on Bastiodon as Agrev speaks.
"Fine if physical moves won't work then I'll do this Ursaring Hyper Beam!" Agrev calls when Ursaring goes to fire the beam Brock speaks.
"I won't let you Naclstack use Iron Head!" Brock calls the rock salt Pokemon shoots forward and hits Ursarings head making it stop before it could fire the Hyper Beam. Ursaring stumbles back a little groaning in pain it then looks forward and sees Bastiodon having its mouth opened as Brock speaks.
"Bastiodon we're ending this use Metal Burst!" Brock calls Bastiodon roars as it fires a big beam of steel energy that heads for Ursaring as Agrev speaks.
"Knock it away Ursaring!" Agrev calls Ursaring connects with the beam it tries to push it away but is unable to as the beam is too strong, and the bear is exhausted Brock then speaks.
"END IT BASTIODON!" Brock yells as Bastiodon lets out a mighty roar increasing the power of the beam. The Metal Burst then consumes Ursaring the bear cries out in pain as it's sent flying crashing through multiple trees until it hits a big rock. Ursaring then falls on the ground it tries to stand up but ultimately stays down. Agrev has a shocked look on his face as Brock speaks.
"WE DID IT!" Brock cheers along with Ash, Misty, Leaf, and their Pokémon. Ivy looks at the group then speaks.
"They were able to do it" Ivy thinks to herself then smiles. She then goes back to trying to free the Pokémon. Meanwhile, Agrev along with his men have shocked looks on their faces as Man 2 speaks.
"I can't believe Mr. Agrev lost while using a Shadow Pokémon" Man 2 says with the other 2 nodding. Agrev then looks at Ursaring and speaks.
"You stupid bear stand up right now this is an order!" Agrev yells but Ursaring can't move anymore as it's too tired. Agrev has an annoyed look on his face as everyone then hear police sirens Prof. Ivy's assistants run over as one of them speaks.
"We called Officer Jenny and they're also bringing Nurse Joy!" The girl says making the group happy Brock then looks over at Team Snagem and speaks.
"Looks like it's over for you guys" Brock says while looking at the 4 men as Agrev speaks.
"Heh no it's not we're getting out of here" Agrev says as he along with his men pull out smoke bombs and throw them on the ground creating a cloud of smoke. Everyone coughs as when the smoke clears everyone can see that Team Snagem is gone Ash then speaks.
"Darn they got away" Ash says in anger as Brock speaks.
"I know how you feel Ash but come on let's help Prof. Ivy free the Pokémon" Brock says with Ash nodding. The gang run over to Ivy and manage to free the Pokémon. When that happens Officer Jenny along with a few policemen and Nurse Joy appear. Ivy tells the police what happen as they then leave to try and find the 4 men. After that Nurse Joy begins to heal not only the Pokémon from the garden but also the groups Pokémon. Brock also helps Nurse Joy with the Pokémon too with Ivy being more impressed by him.
2 hours later all of the Pokémon are healed. Nurse Joy looks at the group and speaks.
"There everyone should all be healed now they just need a good rest" Nurse Joy says with the group nodding. After that Nurse Joy leaves heading back to the Pokémon Center. When she's gone the gang let out a yawn as Ash speaks.
"Man, I'm tired" Ash says as Misty speaks.
"Yeah, we were in the middle of sleeping before Team Snagem attacked" Misty says with everyone nodding when Ash, Misty, Leaf, along with Ivy's assistants go to bed Ivy looks at Brock then speaks.
"Are you not going to bed along with the others?" Ivy asks as Brock speaks.
"Not yet I just want to make sure that everyone's Pokémon are okay" Brock says as he looks at Bastiodon and Naclstack. Ivy looks at Brock and speaks.
"You really do act like a Pokémon Breeder" Ivy says as Brock speaks.
"Thank you also Prof. Ivy can I ask you something?" Brock asks as Ivy speaks.
"Sure, go ahead" Ivy says with the teen nodding as he begins to talk. Once Brock's done Ivy has a surprised look on her face as she speaks.
"Are you sure? What about your friends?" Ivy asks as Brock speaks.
"I'll make sure to let them know in the morning" Brock responds with Ivy nodding as she speaks.
"I see. Well in that case I'm going to bed have a goodnight, and don't stay up too late" Ivy says with Brock nodding as she leaves, and Brock continues to look at the Pokémon.
It's now the next morning it's currently 9:30am we see Ash, Misty, and Leaf wake up all groaning as Misty speaks.
"Uh I'm so sore" Misty says with Ash and Leaf agreeing as Leaf speaks.
"Yeah, last night was crazy" Leaf says as Ash speaks.
"Well at least we're heading back home today come on let's meet up with Brock and say goodbye to Prof. Ivy and her assistants" Ash says with the 2 girls nodding. When they leave the room, they head downstairs and see Brock's Alolan Golem, Kangaskan, Sandslash, Bastiodon and Naclstack all carrying some wood. The 3 trainers have surprised looks on their faces as Leaf speaks.
"What's going on and why are Brock's Golem and Sandslash here?" Leaf questions but neither Ash nor Misty know. They then see the door to the building open as Brock's Onix, Croagunk, Golbat, Lycanroc, Klawf, and Vulpix all come through carrying wood too with Brock running alongside them and wearing a pink apron. The 3 trainers look at Brock as Misty speaks.
"Um Brock what are you doing?" Misty asks as Brock speaks.
"Hmmm? Oh, my Pokémon and I are fixing the building" Brock says as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, we can see that, but you know that we're going to be leaving soon are you and your Pokémon going to be able to finish on time?" Ash asks as Brock speaks.
"Nope because I'm staying" Brock responds surprising the 3 trainers along with Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, Sobble, and Togepi as Misty speaks.
"What do you mean you're staying?" Misty asks as Brock speaks.
"Like I said I'm staying" Brock says as Leaf speaks.
"But why?" Leaf asks as Brock speaks.
"After what happened last night and during our time here, I feel as though that I can continue learning more about Pokémon here" Brock responds as Ash speaks.
"Was Prof. Ivy okay with this?" Ash asks as Ivy speaks.
"Yes, it's fine" The woman says while appearing in front of the group as she continues to speak.
"I was also surprised when Brock told me last night that he was going to be staying here. He said that he'll teach us how to take better care of ourselves and feels that he'll learn more about Pokémon which will help with his Pokémon Breeder goal" Ivy says with the group nodding as they see Brock getting along with the Pokémon that live in Ivy's Garden. Brock then walks over to his friends as Ash speaks.
"So, you're really staying here huh?" Ash asks as Brock speaks.
"Yeah, unfortunately this means that I won't be traveling with you guys for a while" Brock says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"I see….." Ash says while having a sad look on his face with the others sad too, but the boy then smiles and speaks.
"Well Brock if you believe that this'll help with your goal then I'm happy for you" Ash says having a smile on his face making everyone else smile too as Brock speaks.
"Thanks Ash and good luck on the rest of your journey" Brock says while holding out his hand as Ash grabs it and speaks.
"Yeah, same to you" Ash says before they let go Misty and Leaf walk over, they put their hands on top of Ash's and Brock's then speak.
"Good luck Brock" The two girls say with Brock nodding. After that they let go of each other's hands. Ash, Misty, and Leaf then say goodbye to Brock, his Pokémon, Prof. Ivy, and her assistants. They all keep waving at each other until they can't see each other anymore. We now see Ash, Misty, and Leaf walking down the road as Leaf speaks.
"Man, it sucks that Brock isn't going to be traveling with us" Leaf says as Misty speaks.
"I agree but he made his choice, and he believes that it's the right one" Misty says as Ash speaks.
"Besides we'll see him again one day and when that day comes, we'll show him just how much we've grown" Ash says with the 2 girls nodding as Ash speaks.
"Also, what time does the boat to Pallet Town leave again?" Ash asks as Leaf speaks.
"Hmmm. Let's see according to the guide it leaves in… 10 minutes!" Leaf says in surprise shocking Ash and Misty as Ash speaks.
"Let's hurry!" Ash exclaims as the 3 trainers begin running at full speed trying to catch the boat. Meanwhile somewhere in the Orange Islands we come to an island where we see Agrev along with his 3 henchmen walking into the building. When they enter, we see more bald men with red vest and there are also some muscular men and women their too. The 4 men keep walking until they reach a room and enter it. When they enter, they see a big muscular man, with a distinctively twisted mustache and has some scars on his body. The man looks at Agrev and the 3 other men then speaks.
"Agrev your back did you succeed?" The man asks as Agrev speaks.
"No, Gonzap sir we failed" Agrev says surprising Gonzap as he speaks.
"Failed? How could you fail your mission was simple steal the Pokémon from Prof. Ivy's Garden and you had a Shadow Pokémon under your control how could you possibly fail?" Gonzap says having a serious expression on his face as Agrev speaks.
"The reason we failed was because of 4 trainers sir named Ash, Misty, Leaf, and Brock" Agrev says as Gonzap speaks.
"Those names Ash and Leaf sound familiar weren't they the brats that recently competed in the Kanto League?" Gonzap asks as Agrev speaks.
"The same one's sir" Agrev says with Gonzap nodding.
"I see that explains it" Gonzap says with Agrev nodding as he speaks.
"What should we do now sir? If you want, we can try to steal Prof. Ivy's Pokémon again" Agrev asks as Gonzap speaks.
"No, there's no need to, now that you've made yourselves known to them security will be tighter than before" Gonzap responds with Agrev nodding as Gonzap continues to speak.
"Besides some of the other members have already gathered enough Pokemon so we don't need any more for now. You 4 can take a break and I'll contact you for your next mission" Gonzap says with the 4 men nodding they walk out of the room leaving Gonzap alone. As Gonzap sits in his chair he smiles then speaks.
"Ash, Misty, Leaf, and Brock if those brats get in our way again, I'll crush them" Gonzap thinks to himself as he goes back to what he was doing before.
Meanwhile in the far Sinnoh region we head into international police headquarters we see Looker in his office reading a document until he hears a knock on the door then speaks.
"You may come in" Looker says as when the door opens, we see Jessie, James, Meowth, and Wobbuffet. Jessie and James aren't in their Team Rocket uniforms, they're now wearing the same outfit as Looker (Meowth and Wobbuffet are also wearing the clothes too), the 4 look at Looker as Jessie, James and Meowth speak.
"You called for us sir?" The 3 ask as Looker speaks.
"Yes, I've something I want to ask you but before that how do you like working here so far?" Looker asks as James speaks.
"It's great everyone here is friendly" James says as Meowth speaks.
"The food is also amazing" Meowth says with Jessie and Wobbuffet agreeing. Looker looks at them smiles then speaks.
"That's great to hear" Looker says as Jessie speaks.
"All of that aside do you have a mission for us?" Jessie asks as Looker speaks.
"Why yes I do seeing as you've been here for almost 2 months, I believe it's time you receive your first mission" Looker says with the 4 nodding as James speaks.
"So, what is it?" James asks as Looker speaks.
"Tell me have you ever heard of an organization called Team Snagem?" Looker asks as Jessie speaks.
"I remember hearing about them once a long time ago, but didn't they disband?" Jessie asks as Looker speaks.
"Yes, a few years ago one of our agents named Wes and his partner Rui managed to get rid of the organization but recently there have been sightings of them in the Orange Islands and using Shadow Pokémon" Looker says as James speaks.
"Shadow Pokémon?" James asks as Looker speaks.
"Shadow Pokémon are Pokémon that have no free will of their own and are only used as battle machines" Looker says with the 4 nodding as Meowth speaks.
"That's horrible" Meowth says as Jessie speaks.
"So, do you want us to infiltrate their base?" Jessie asks as Looker speaks.
"Yes, but we're not only going to infiltrate their base but also another organizations base too" Looker says making the 4 confused as Jessie speaks.
"And what organization is that?" Jessie asks as Looker speaks.
"There's been a rumor going around that the organization named Cipher is the one responsible for creating Shadow Pokémon and supplying Team Snagem with the Pokémon. So, your mission is to find out if that's true or not" Looker says with the 4 nodding as Looker continues to speak.
"Also since this is your first mission in the International Police, I'll be joining you too as it could get dangerous if you're found out" Looker says with the 4 nodding as Jessie speaks.
"We understand sir so when should we head out?" Jessie asks as Looker speaks.
"We head out early tomorrow morning and go to Valencia Island as there was a recent sighting of Team Snagem last night" Looker says with the 4 nodding they give a salute and head out of the office going to prepare for their trip. When they're gone Looker begins to think.
"Just what're you planning Team Snagem and Cipher?" Looker says to himself as the chapter comes to an end.
Thank you for reading if you've made it this far. A lot happened in this chapter, we got introduced to Prof. Ivy, Team Snagem, Brocks Shieldon and Nacli evolved and Jessie, James, and Meowth have returned. Just like the anime Brock's not going to join the gang on their adventures through the orange islands but I feel as though I gave him a good goodbye to the group.
You guys are probably wondering why I've included Team Snagem. I did it because it gives the group another enemy to look out for and allows the international police to get involved. And there's also the mention of Cipher.
Next chapter will come out next week It'll focus on the gang meeting a Lapras and a Pokémon Watcher
