Chapter 77: The Dog and Cat Pokémon Competition

Hello everyone, this chapter will focus on Ash and Leaf competing in a competition for Dog and Cat Pokémon. They'll also reunite with Nemona and Cameron, I hope you all enjoy.

The chapter begins the next day after the last one ended. We see the ship that the gang are riding on continuing to sail through the sea. As the boat continues Officer Jenny speaks.

"Golden Island's in view!" Jenny says making the 4 kids curious as they look out the window and see the island. They have excited looks on their faces as Leaf speaks.

"So that's golden Island I can't wait!" Leaf says with the group nodding as Jenny speaks.

"We'll reach the shore in a couple minutes" Jenny says with the 4 kids nodding as the boat continues to sail forward. A couple minutes later they make it to shore and the group get off the ship. Once they're off they look at Jenny as Ash speaks.

"Thanks for the ride, Officer Jenny!" Ash says with the others saying the same thing. Jenny looks at them smiles and speaks.

"You're welcome and take care!" Jenny says as she then sails away. The group wave her goodbye until they can't see her anymore. Once that's done, they stop waving as Ash speaks.

"Alright so where's this Dog and Cat competition?" Ash asks as Tracey speaks.

"Hmmm… Let's see in my guidebook it says that it's west of here and we'll also see 2 statues of a Kanto Meowth and Growlithe." Tracey says with the group nodding as Leaf speaks.

"Alright last one there is a rotten Poke egg!" Leaf says as she dashes forward Ash speaks.

"Hey! You're not getting ahead of me!" Ash says as he begins to dash after her leaving both Misty and Tracey behind as Tracey speaks.

"Um did they seriously just leave us behind?" Tracey asks as Misty speaks.

"They do that a lot don't worry you'll get used to it" Misty says with Tracey nodding as they begin running after Ash and Leaf.

5 minutes later the group made it to their destination. Misty along with Tracey pant heavily as Ash speaks.

"Wow look at those statues!" "They're huge!" Ash and Leaf say while looking at the giant Meowth and Growlithe statues as Misty speaks.

"They must really love Growlithe and Meowth" Misty says as Tracey speaks.

"I read that a long time ago the people of this island used to worship only Meowth because of its move Payday being able to bring fortune to the islanders. Then one day a Growlithe appeared who not only drove away pirates but also found oil/rare items making the people of the island even richer than before. Then after that they decided to hold Dog and Cat Pokémon competitions where visitors to the island can also find rare items and train up their Pokémon." Tracey says with the group nodding. As they continue to look at the statues, they then hear a voice.

"Hey!" The voice echoes causing the group to look at where it came from as it sounded familiar. Once they do they see someone running towards them, as the person's coming into view, they see that it's Nemona as they speak.

"Nemona?!" The group say in surprise as a couple seconds later Nemona makes it to them. Nemona pants a little bit then looks at them and speaks.

"Hey long time no see" Nemona says as Ash speaks.

"Hey Nemona, are you here to compete in the Dog and Cat Pokemon competition too?" Ash asks as Nemona speaks.

"Yep, that's right" Nemona says as Misty speaks.

"Hey where're Rika, Larry, and Hassel?" Misty asks as Nemona speaks.

"Oh, they're currently relaxing in a nearby hotel. I didn't want to stay inside so I came here to compete" Nemona says with the group nodding as she continues.

"So, are you guys competing too?" Nemona asks as Leaf speaks.

"Only me and Ash are competing" Leaf says making Nemona happy as she speaks.

"That's amazing! That means that we're competing against each other!" Nemona says happily with the 2 kids nodding as Nemona looks at Ash and speaks.

"By the way Ash how was your Mikan Gym Challenge?" Nemona asks as Ash speaks.

"It was pretty tough, but I managed to get my first Orange league badge see" Ash says as he shows Nemona the badge making her happy as she speaks.

"Nice! I knew you could do it" Nemona says as Ash speaks.

"What about you did you get your badge from Navel Island?" Ash asks as Nemona speaks.

"Yep, I did see" Nemona responds as she showcases the badge that looks like a giant clam shell with a gemstone inside it and speaks.

"This is called the Sea Ruby Badge" Nemona says the group look at the badge in awe as Misty and Leaf speak.

"It's so pretty!" The 2 girls say as Tracey speaks.

"Wow that's a pretty big achievement I've heard that the Navel Rock gym leader is tough" Tracey says as Nemona speaks.

"Yeah, you're right about that the challenges for the most part were pretty easy except for the last one which was a triple battle" Nemona says as Ash speaks.

"A triple battle?" Ash asks with Nemona nodding as she speaks.

"Yeah, have you heard of them before?" Nemona asks as Ash speaks.

"Yep, me and Leaf had a triple battle before, but we didn't get a chance to finish it" Ash says with Leaf nodding as Nemona speaks.

"We'll I'll say this Ash you should really train up on triple battles because the gym leader was really skilled at it and I almost lost" Nemona says surprising the group as Ash speaks.

"Wow the gym leader almost beat you? Did you Terastallize one of your Pokémon?" Ash asks as Nemona speaks.

"Nope I didn't use Terastallization. The battle would've been easier if I did but I'm currently trying not to relay on it right now" Nemona says with Ash nodding as Misty looks at Ash and speaks.

"Looks like you'll need to really train up on triple battles Ash" Misty says with Ash nodding as Nemona smiles and speaks.

"In that case before the competition starts how about you and me have a triple battle Ash to help you train for the gym battle" Nemona says as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Alright you're on!" Ash says excitedly with Pikachu sparking its cheeks. Nemona smiles and speaks.

"Great let's-" Before Nemona can finish everyone hears a voice.

"WAIT!" The voice echoes causing everyone to stop as they look to see where the voice came from. When they do they see that it was Cameron who's running alongside his Lucario the group have surprised looks on their faces as they speak.

"It's Cameron and Lucario?!" Ash, Misty, Leaf, and Tracey say in surprised while Nemona's confused. After that Cameron along with Lucario make it to the group, once they make it, they pant a little bit as Cameron speaks.

"If anyone's going to battle Ash it'll be us right Lucario?!" Cameron says with the aura mon nodding as Nemona speaks.

"Um who's this?" Nemona asks as Leaf speaks.

"This is Cameron he's also competing in the Orange League, and he also battled Ash a few days ago and won" Leaf answers with Nemona nodding as Ash looks at Cameron and speaks.

"Hey Cameron, how're you?" Ash asks as Cameron looks at him and speaks.

"Oh, I'm doing great and look a couple days ago I got the Mikan Island badge" Cameron says as he shows the badge to the group who're impressed as Ash speaks.

"Nice and are you here competing too?" Ash asks as Cameron speaks.

"Yep, that's right" Cameron responds as Nemona speaks.

"Cool then were rivals" Nemona says as Cameron looks at her and speaks.

"Um who're you?" Cameron asks as Nemona speaks.

"Oh, my name's Nemona I'm from Cabo Poco in the Paldea region and I'm also competing in the Orange League" Nemona says as Cameron speaks.

"Nice to meet you my name's Cameron and this is Lucario" Cameron says as Lucario says hello with Nemona greeting it. Nemona then looks at Ash and speaks.

"Alright, Ash come on let's battle" Nemona says as Cameron speaks.

"Wait a minute if anyone's battling Ash it's me!" Cameron says as Nemona speaks.

"What no way! I was here first so I'm battling him" Nemona responds as Cameron speaks.

"Well, I arrived second and since 2 is a higher number than 1 I get to battle Ash first!" Cameron says making Nemona confused as she speaks.

"That doesn't make any sense!" Nemona says as Cameron speaks.

"Yes, it does!" Cameron responds. After that the 2 of them begin to argue about who gets to battle Ash while the group along with Cameron's Lucario look at them and let out a sigh. As they continue to look at Nemona and Cameron argue Tracey looks at the time and speaks.

"Ash, Leaf you better hurry and register soon because the time to do it is almost up" Tracey says with the 2 kids nodding as Misty speaks.

"What should we do about them?" Misty asks while pointing at the still arguing Nemona and Cameron as Ash speaks.

"I'll go talk to them" Ash says as he walks a couple feet forward and speaks.

"Hey, the time to register is almost up can you guys stop arguing?" Ash asks as the 2 kids look at him and nod as they stop Ash continues to speak.

"I read that after passing the first test there'll be a second one where the contestants get to battle each other meaning that you both might get a chance to battle me" Ash says with the 2 kids nodding as Cameron speaks.

"Yeah, that's right I remember reading that on the poster too" Cameron says with Nemona agreeing as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Good now come on let's register before time runs out" Ash says with Nemona and Cameron nodding. After that Ash, Leaf, Nemona, and Cameron walk over to the reception desk and sign up for the competition. When they do, they're now on a field with other trainers (Misty, Tracey and Pikachu are sitting in the stands) as a man appears and speaks.

"Hello, my name's David and I'll be hosting this year's Dog and Cat Pokémon competition!" David says with the trainers nodding as David continues to speak.

"Now as you all know we hold this competition once a year for trainers to find rare items and allow your Pokémon to gain battle experience. This year will be the same and I'll now explain the rules." David says with everyone nodding as he continues to speak.

"Now the first test will have you all use your dog Pokémon to look for 4 rare items in 30 minutes. Then once that's done the 4 trainers who've found the rarest items will move onto the next test being a 4v4 double battle with the 4 trainers using their cat Pokémon. They'll battle it out to see who's stronger and win the grand prize which is a 1-year supply of Dog and Cat Pokémon food along with a Gold Nugget which if you sell it, you'll get a lot of money from it!" David says making the trainers nod as Ash speaks.

"My mom would love to have that stuff for my Pokémon and if I win that Gold Nugget and sell it, I'll be able to buy stuff for my family, friends, and Pokémon." Ash says with Leaf having the same thoughts as David speaks.

"Now then the first test will begin in 10 minutes. Please get your dog Pokémon ready and we'll begin" David says with the trainers nodding as they all go to prepare. Ash and Leaf head over to a video phone calling Oak and Daisy to switch out their Pokémon. Once that's done, they along with the rest of the trainers' head back to the area where David is as he speaks.

"Now that all trainers are ready let the dog competition begin!" David says as a 30-minute timer appears and begins to count down. Multiple trainers along with Nemona and Cameron start bringing out their dog Pokémon and begin their search for rare items as Leaf speaks.

"Looks like everyone else is starting" Leaf says as Ash speaks.

"Well, I'm not letting them get ahead of me everyone come out!" Ash says as he throws 4 Pokeball's in the air sending out Alolan Ninetales, Hisuian Arcanine, Dusk Lycanroc, and Riolu. The 4 mons look at their trainer as Ash speaks.

Okay guys let's go!" Ash says with the 4-mons nodding as they run forward to begin their search Leaf speaks.

"Heh well you're not getting ahead of me everyone come out!" Leaf says also throwing 4 Pokeball's in the air sending out Boltund, Greavard, Dachsbun, and a Kanto Arcanine. The 4 mons look at their trainer as Leaf speaks.

"We're going too!" Leaf says as she along with her Pokémon run forward and begin their search for rare items too as David speaks.

"And there they go!" David says the crowd watches curiously and begins to cheer as Misty speaks.

"I hope Ash and Leaf do well" Misty says with Tracey and Pikachu nodding as they continue to watch and cheer Ash and Leaf on. Back on the field we see Ash along with his Pokémon at a spot then speaks.

"This looks like a good spot okay guys I'm counting on you" Ash says with the 4-mons nodding as they all begin to sniff the ground looking for rare items. As they're doing that everyone hears a voice.

"I found something!" The voice says catching everyone's attention as they look over at Nemona Leaf speaks.

"She found something already?" Leaf says in surprise as Ash looks at Nemona's Pokémon and speaks.

"And her Pokémon are pretty interesting I recognize Dachsbun but who're the other 3?" Ash questions as he along with Leaf pull out their Pokedex's to scan the 3 mons.

"Maschiff the Rascal Pokémon and a pure dark type. Its well-developed jaw and fangs are strong enough to crunch through boulders, and its thick fat makes for an excellent defense." "Mabosstiff the Boss Pokémon a pure dark type and the evolved form of Machiff. This Pokémon can store energy in its large dewlap. Mabosstiff unleashes this energy all at once to blow away enemies." "Houndstone the Ghost Dog Pokémon, a pure ghost type and the fully evolved form of Greavard. Houndstone spends most of its time sleeping in graveyards. Among all the dog Pokémon, this one is most loyal to its master." The Pokedex's say as Ash speaks.

"So those are the other dog type Pokémon from Paldea they look cool!" Ash says as Leaf speaks.

"So, that's Greavard's fully evolved form what do you think Greavard?" Leaf asks as the dog looks at its evolved form and is amazed by it. David then walks over to Nemona and speaks.

"You already found an item? Mind if I see it?" David asks as Nemona nods and hands him the item David looks at it and speaks.

"My word you really did find an item and it's a Full Restore!" David says the other trainers are surprised as Nemona speaks.

"Cool I found a Full Restore great job Houndstone!" Nemona says as she pets the ghost dog on the head making it happy as Cameron speaks.

"Wow she's pretty good but we're better Lucario use your aura to find some items!" Cameron says with the aura dog nodding. Lucario closes its eyes and begins to concentrate by sending out an aura wave. Once Lucario's done it begins to run with Cameron along with his Stoutland, Growlithe, and Houndoom following him. Once they reach the area Lucario along with the 3 other mons begin digging once they're done digging Lucario pulls out something that looks like candy and gives it to Cameron. Cameron looks at it and speaks.

"We found a Rare Candy!" Cameron cheers surprising the other trainers as Leaf speaks.

"Wow Nemona and Cameron have already found their items if we don't hurry, we'll be left in the dust" Leaf says as Ash speaks.

"You're right about that Leaf. Okay Riolu use your aura to find an item" Ash says with Riolu nodding as she closes her eyes and begins to concentrate too. A few seconds later Riolu finds something and begins running towards it with Ash along with his other Pokémon running with him. When they make it Riolu, Ninetales, Arcanine, and Lycanroc begin to dig. Once they're done digging Riolu picks up the item and hands it to Ash. Ash looks at the item smiles and speaks.

"We just found a Big Nugget!" Ash says happily, surprising the other trainers. Ash then tells the 4-mons good job making them happy as Leaf speaks.

"Oh man looks like we're in last place come on guys let's find an item too!" Leaf says with her Pokémon nodding as they begin sniffing the ground. As they continue to sniff Leaf's Boltund finds something and speaks.

"Bolt, Bolt!" The dog barks alerting Leaf and its teammates as they run forward. Once they reach Boltund it along with Dachsbun, Greavard, and Arcanine begin to dig. Once they're done digging Boltund picks up the item and hands it to Leaf who takes it and speaks.

"I just found a Catching Charm!" Leaf says happily a lot of the other trainers are surprised as David speaks.

"Oh, my now that's really rare!" David says making Leaf happy as she pets the 4 dogs telling them thank you/good job as they happily bark. Off to the side Ash, Nemona, and Cameron are surprised but then get excited as they along with the other trainers continue their search for more items. 25 minutes later everyone continues to search Nemona, Leaf, and Cameron have found 3 items while Ash has only found one item (a Dragon Scale) since his Big Nugget. As time is slowly coming to an end Ash speaks.

"Come on there's got to be a few more items somewhere" Ash says to himself as Riolu, Arcanine, and Ninetales continue to look Lycanroc smells something and speaks.

"Lycanroc, Ly!" Lycanroc barks alerting Ash and its teammates as they run over to him Ash speaks.

"You found something Lycanroc?" Ash asks with the wolf nodding as it along with Ninetales, Arcanine and Riolu begin to dig. Once they're finished digging, they find 2 items, Ninetales uses her 2 tails to pick up the 2 items and hands them to Ash as he looks at them and speaks.

"What're these?" Ash questions as David appears and speaks.

"May I see?" David asks with Ash nodding as he shows the man the 2 items. David looks at the items smiles and speaks.

"These 2 items are an Everstone and a Razor Claw" David says as Ash speaks.

"Are these rare?" Ash asks as David speaks.

"Yes, very rare indeed good job" David responds making Ash along with his Pokémon smile as he speaks.

"Alright!" Ash cheers along with his Pokémon. Once he does the timer reaches zero meaning that the competition is over as David speaks.

"The timer has reached zero will all trainers please line up in front of me and I'll decide which of the 4 trainers will move onto the next test!" David says with the trainers nodding as they along with their Pokémon line up. Once they do that David looks at each trainers' items and begins to decide whether they should move on or not. 10 minutes later David's done he then looks at all of the trainers and speaks.

"After looking at all of your items I've made my decision of the 4 trainers that'll move onto the next test." David says the trainers look at him as he continues.

"The first trainer advancing to the next round will be contestant Nemona as she found a Full Restore, Black Belt, Bug Gem, and a Choice Scarf!" David says as Nemona speaks.

"Yes!" Nemona says happily with her 4-mons happy too as David continues.

"The next one advancing will be contestant Leaf. The items she found were a Catching Charm, Amulet Coin, Big Pearl, and a Black Flute!" David says as Leaf speaks.

"We did it!" Leaf cheers happily while petting her 4 dogs David continues to speak.

"Next will be contestant Cameron. The items he found were a Rare Candy, Expert Belt, Honey, and a Big Malasada!" David says making Cameron along with his Pokémon happy as David continues.

"Now the final trainer advancing will be contestant Ash as he found a Big Nugget, Dragon Scale, Everstone, and a Razor Claw!" David says Ash gets a big smile on his face and speaks.

"Yeah!" Ash along with his Pokémon cheer happily. In the stands Misty, Tracey, Togepi, and Pikachu are happy that Ash and Leaf made it. David then looks at the other trainers who didn't make it and speaks.

"Even though you all did well in finding items they weren't just that rare but don't worry as you'll be able to keep the items you found here today" David says making the other trainers happy. After that we see Ash, Leaf, Nemona, and Cameron standing in front of David as he speaks.

"You 4 did well in getting rare items but now it's time for the next round which consists of a battle between your cat Pokémon. Please look at the screen and see who you'll be facing." David says with the 4 trainers nodding they look at the screen they see their pictures as they begin to spin around. Once the images are done spinning, they're now showcasing who each trainer will battle as David speaks.

"Let's see for the first match it'll be Nemona vs Leaf, and the second match will be Ash vs Cameron!" David says the 4 trainers nod as he continues to speak.

"Now please come back in 10 minutes when you're ready" David says the 4 trainers nod as they walk away to switch out their Pokémon. 10 minutes later after they've switched out their Pokémon, we see Nemona and Leaf on the battlefield. Both girls look at each other and have excited looks on their faces. In the stands Misty speaks.

"I wasn't expecting Leaf to battle Nemona I hope she does well" Misty says with Tracey agreeing with her as Ash speaks.

"Man, this battle's going to be good!" Ash says while having an excited look on his face. Back on the battlefield the referee makes himself known and speaks.

"This is a 4v4 double battle between Nemona and Leaf whoever knocks out all of their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner. If both trainers are ready, please send out your first two Pokémon!" The ref says as Nemona pulls out 2 Pokeball's and speaks.

"Even though I'm not battling Ash I'm excited to battle you. After I watched you battle him in the league, I've been interested in battling you too and I'm going to win! Purugly, Persian come out!" Nemona says as she throws the 2 balls forward sending out her Pokémon. Once the 2 mons appear Leaf takes out her Pokedex to scan them.

"Purugly, the Tiger Cat Pokémon, and a pure normal type. By rounding its tail around itself, it can appear to be bigger, and when locking eyes with another, it can stare forever." "Persian Alolan form and a pure dark type. It looks down on everyone other than itself. Its preferred tactics are sucker punches and blindside attacks." The Pokedex says as Leaf speaks.

"They both look strong" Leaf says to herself as she pulls out 2 Pokeball's looks at Nemona and speaks.

"After your battle with Ash, I've been interested in battling you too and I'll be the one who wins! Meowscarda, Persian come out!" Leaf says as she throws the 2 balls forward sending out her Meowscarada and Kanto Persian. The 2 mons look at Nemona's Pokémon and get into battle stances with Nemona's doing the same as the ref speaks.

"Now that both trainers have sent out their Pokémon let the battle begin!" The ref says as Nemona speaks.

"Here I come Leaf let's have a fruitful battle! Purugly use Aerial Ace on Meowscarada and Persian use Power Gem on Persian!" Nemona calls Purugly shoots forward heading for Meowscarada while Persian fires a rock beam at Leaf's Persian. Leaf isn't worried and calls for her commands.

"Meowscarada intercept Purugly with Acrobatics and Persian dodge then use Play Rough!" Leaf calls Meowscarada turns into a flying type glows blue and shoots forward colliding with Purugly. Persian moves to the left easily avoiding the Power Gem, it then covers its claws in fairy energy and jumps towards Nemona's Persian going to hit it as Nemona speaks.

"Purugly knock Meowscarada away with Iron Tail and Persian use Thunder Wave!" Nemona calls Purugly covers its tail in steel energy and swings it going to hit Meowscarada. Meowscarada quickly brings up its arms and blocks the attack making it slide a few feet away. Nemona's Persian fires 5 electric rings that hit Leaf's Persian and paralyzes it making it stop as Nemona speaks.

"Now Persian use Power Gem!" "Meowscarada quick use Acrobatics to help Persian!" "Purugly intercept Meowscarada with Aerial Ace!" Both trainers call Nemona's Persian fires the rocky beam. Leaf's Meowscarada glows blue and shoots forward going to help Persian, but Nemona's Purugly gets in the way with Aerial Ace causing them to collide. Leaf calls for Persian to dodge but the mon can't because of the paralysis, the Power Gem then hits Persian causing damage making the mon groan in pain as Nemona speaks.

"Now Persian use Night Slash!" Nemona calls her Persian's claws glow in dark energy then jumps forward as Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada quick use Aura Sphere!" "Purugly knock it away with Iron Tail!" Both trainers call Leaf's Meowscarada turns into a fighting type creates a blue ball of fighting energy and shoots it forward. As the ball is heading for Nemona's Persian, Purugly appears in front of it and slaps the ball away with its tail. Leaf along with Meowscarada get annoyed but then smile as Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada turn that Aura Sphere around and hit Persian!" Leaf calls Meowscarada nods as it holds its hand forward sending out aura controlling the sphere and sends it towards Nemona's Persian again as Nemona speaks.

"That's right I forgot that your Meowscarada can do that. Purugly quick destroy it with Aerial Ace!" "I don't think so Meowscarada use Low Kick!" Both trainers call Purugly shoots forward going to intercept the Aura Sphere, but Meowscarada appears in front of it and kicks it across the face with its right leg sending the cat back on the ground groaning in pain as Leaf speaks.

"Great now make the Aura Sphere hit Persian!" "Persian dodge!" Both trainers call Nemona's Persian can't dodge in time as the Aura Sphere hits it creating an explosion and causing super effective damage. Nemona's Persian begins falling towards the ground as it's getting close Leaf's Persian stands back up and has its claws ready as Leaf speaks.

"Now Persian use Play Rough!" Leaf calls her Persian roars as it covers its claws in fairy energy jumps forward and slashes Nemona's Persian causing super effective damage. Nemona's Persian is sent flying and crashes next to Nemona. Nemona looks at the cat and sees that it's knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Nemona's Persian's unable to battle!" The ref says as Leaf speaks.

"Alright that's one down great job Persian!" Leaf says with the mon nodding. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"Nice Leaf defeated one of Nemona's Pokémon" Tracey says as Ash and Misty speak.

"Go! Leaf!" The 2 trainers say cheering for their friend. Leaf looks at them in the stands and smiles. Meanwhile on the other side of the battlefield Nemona returns her Persian back to its Pokeball and thanks it. Nemona puts the ball back on her belt, pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.

"That was a nice strategy you came up with to take down my Persian, but I'm not done yet. Go Meowstic!" Nemona says she throws the ball forward as a small bipedal white cat like Pokémon appears and has a serious look on its face. Leaf looks at the mon and takes out her Pokedex to scan it.

"Meowstic, the Constraint Pokémon and a Psychic Type. When faced with trouble, Meowstic will raise its ears and create enough psychic power to demolish a ten-ton truck. Its appearance varies, depending on the gender." The Pokedex says as Leaf speaks.

"I see Persian, Meowscarada let's keep going!" Leaf says with the 2-mons nodding as they get into battle stances with Nemona's Pokémon doing the same. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada use Dark Pulse on Meowstic and Persian use Work Up!" Leaf calls Meowscarada turns into a dark type and fires the stream of dark energy towards Meowstic. Persian roars increasing its special attack/attack power as Nemona speaks.

"Purugly destroy the Dark Pulse with Slash and Meowstic run towards Persian!" Nemona calls Purugly appears in front of the Dark Pulse and slashes it easily destroying it. Meowstic then begins running towards Persian as Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada use Night Slash on Meowstic!" "Purugly counter with your Night Slash!" Both trainers call Meowscarada covers its claws in dark energy and jumps forward going to hit Meowstic but Purugly gets in the way causing them to collide and back away from each other. This allows Meowstic to continue running towards Persian as Leaf speaks.

"Persian use Dark Pulse!" "Meowstic use Protect and keep running!" Both trainers call Persian roars and fires the dark stream of energy. Meowstic isn't worried as it summons a protective barrier blocking the attack and continues to run. As Meowstic's getting close to Persian Leaf speaks.

"Okay Persian use Night Slash!" Leaf calls Persian covers its claws in dark energy and goes to hit Meowstic as Nemona speaks.

"Meowstic dodge then use Psychic!" Nemona calls Meowstic easily evades Persian's attack then fires out the waves of psychic energy which hit Persian not only holding it in place but also causing damage as Nemona speaks.

"Now use Psybeam!" "Persian break out of there with Night Slash and Meowscarada use Sucker Punch on Meowstic!" "Purugly counter Meowscarada's Sucker Punch with yours!" Both trainers call when Meowstic's about to fire the Psybeam Meowscarada quickly appears in front of it and goes to punch it. But Nemona's Purugly appears in front of Meowscarada causing both mons to collide and back away from each other. Meowstic then fires the Psybeam as it goes to hit Persian, Persian tries to use Night Slash to break out of the psychic hold but can't because of the paralysis. A few seconds later the Psybeam hits Persian creating an explosion as Leaf speaks.

"Persian!" Leaf calls in worry when the smoke clears everyone can see Persian laying on its stomach knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Leaf's Persian's unable to battle!" The ref calls allowing for Nemona and her Pokémon to cheer. Leaf's sad that Persian lost but smiles and returns it back to its Pokeball telling the mon thank you. Leaf then pulls out her next Pokeball and speaks.

"Go! Leafeon!" Leaf says she throws the ball forward as her Leafeon appears the mon stands next to Meowscarada and gets in a battle stance as Nemona speaks.

"So, a Leafeon's next" Nemona says to herself as she smiles. Back in the stands Cameron speaks.

"Wait Leafeon's considered a cat Pokemon?" Cameron questions as Tracey speaks.

"Well, it's pretty tricky as Leafeon can be considered both a dog and cat Pokémon" Tracey says with Cameron nodding. Back on the battlefield the ref calls for the battle to continue as Nemona speaks.

"We'll go first! Purugly use Hone Claws and Meowstic use Calm Mind!" Nemona calls as her Pokémon begin to increase their stats Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada use Dark Pulse on Meowstic and Leafeon use Leaf Blade on Purugly!" Leaf calls the 2 mons shoot forward heading for their respective opponent as Nemona speaks.

"Purugly use Double Edge on Meowscarada and Meowstic stop Leafeon with Psychic!" Nemona calls Purugly along with Meowstic have finished increasing their stats, Purugly's body glows white and shoots forward colliding with the Dark Pulse. Purugly's able to easily go through it and heads for Meowscarada. Meowscarada sees Purugly coming, it quickly brings up its arms to block the attack and is sent sliding a few feet away. Meanwhile Meowstic fires the psychic waves and catches Leafeon. Meowstic holds Leafeon tightly making the mon groan in pain as Nemona speaks.

"Now Purugly use Fury Swipes then Iron Tail on Leafeon!" Nemona calls Purugly jumps towards Leafeon it gets its claws along with its tail ready and goes to hit Leafeon as Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada quick use Flower Trick then Aura Sphere!" Leaf calls Meowscarada turns into a grass type and roars as a bouquet of flowers suddenly falls from the sky and hits Purugly on the head creating an explosion and sending Purugly down on the ground. Purugly's laying on the ground groaning in pain then sees Meowscarada turn into a fighting type and is charging up an Aura Sphere as Leaf speaks.

"Fire!" "Meowstic quick use Psybeam!" "Leafeon use Knock Off!" Both trainers' call. Meowscarada fires the Aura Sphere it goes to hit Purugly, Meowstic takes its eyes off Leafeon and fires a Psybeam towards the Aura Sphere. Leafeon manages to break out of the psychic quickly runs in front of the Psybeam covers its right paw in dark energy and slaps the Psybeam easily destroying it surprising Nemona and Meowstic. Meanwhile, the Aura Sphere's getting closer towards Purugly as Nemona speaks.

"Purugly quick use Iron Tail to knock it away!" "Meowscarada make the Aura Sphere go up!" Both trainers' call. Purugly quickly covers its tail in steel energy and swings it going to hit the Aura Sphere. Meowscarada points its finger upward making the Aura Sphere go up as it dodges Purugly's tail. Purugly then looks at the Aura Sphere in the air and sees that Meowscarada is there too. Meowscarada grabs the Aura Sphere with its right hand and begins falling towards Purugly as Nemona speaks.

"Meowstic quick pull Purugly away with Psychic!" "Leafeon use Quick Attack!" Both trainers call when Meowstic goes to use Psychic Leafeon shoots forward and hits Meowstic hard in the stomach making the mon cough in pain as it's sent a few feet away. Meanwhile back with Purugly it continues to look at Meowscarada falling towards it as Nemona speaks.

"Purugly dodge!" "Do It Meowscarada!" Both trainers call Purugly can't dodge in time as Meowscarada roars and slams the Aura Sphere hard on Purugly's head creating an explosion along with a gust of wind as Nemona speaks.

"Purugly!" Nemona calls in worry. When the wind along with the smoke clear everyone can see Meowscarada standing over an unconscious Purugly, the ref makes the call.

"Purugly's unable to battle!" The ref calls as Leaf speaks.

"Yeah! Great job Meowscarada!" "Leaf!" Leaf along with Leafeon cheer happily as Meowscarada looks at them and smiles. Back in the stands Ash, Misty, and Cameron cheer for Leaf as Tracey speaks.

"Wow Leaf's doing great out there" Tracey says as Misty speaks.

"Yeah, Nemona only has 2 Pokémon left while Leaf still has 3, she's got this" Misty says with Tracey and Cameron nodding. Ash then stops cheering he looks at Nemona and sees that she's not worried as she returns Purugly back to its Pokeball. Nemona tells Purugly thank you then looks over at Leaf and speaks.

"Wow Leaf! You're really amazing this battle's been really fun so far" Nemona says as Leaf speaks.

"I agree I'm having fun too!" Leaf says happily with Nemona nodding. Nemona then pulls out her final Pokeball and speaks.

"I may be at a disadvantage with only having 2 Pokémon left but I'm confident that this one will help me even the score. Meowscarada come out!" Nemona says she throws the ball forward as her shiny Meowscarada appears. Once it appears the mon looks at Leaf's Pokemon and smiles. Back in the stands Misty speaks.

"So, Nemona's final Pokémon is her Meowscarada" Misty says as Cameron speaks.

"By just looking at it I can feel how strong it is" Cameron says with his Lucario agreeing as Ash speaks.

"Yeah, I battled Nemona's Meowscarada once and it defeated my Grovyle with something called Terastallization" Ash says as Cameron speaks.

"Terastallization? What's that?" Cameron asks as Tracey speaks.

"It's a phenomenon in the Paldea region where a trainer throws something called a tera orb toward their Pokémon where they gain a jewel on their head and their bodies glisten like gemstone. Also, the Pokémon's defensive type changes to their tera type" Tracey says as Cameron speaks.

"Tera Type?" Cameron says while having a confused look on his face as Tracy speaks.

"Here's an example your Lucario's a steel/fighting type but once you Terastallize it, its type will either become just steel or fighting or it could even be a different typing all together like say dragon." Tracey says with Cameron nodding as he speaks.

"Wow that sounds strong I can see why you lost Ash, and do you guys think she'll use it today?" Cameron asks as Ash speaks.

"Nemona did say that she's trying not to relay on it too much, but we'll see" Ash responds with Cameron nodding as they all continue to look at the battle. Back on the battlefield Leaf's Meowscarada and Leafeon look at Nemona's Meowscarada and can feel a lot of power from it as Leaf speaks.

"So, here's her ace I need to be careful with this one especially if it Terastallizes" Leaf says to herself as she looks at her Pokémon and speaks.

"Meowscarada, Leafeon be careful!" Leaf says with the 2-mons nodding as they get into battle stances with Nemona's Pokémon doing the same. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Leaf speaks.

"Here we go Meowscarada Night Slash on Meowstic and Leafeon use Sunny Day!" Leaf calls Meowscarada turns into a dark type covers its claws in dark energy and jumps towards Meowstic. Leafeon then looks towards the sky and roars summoning the harsh sunlight as Nemona speaks.

"Meowstic use Protect and Meowscarada use Brick Break!" Nemona calls. When Leaf's Meowscarada goes to hit Meowstic, Meowstic quickly summons a protective barrier blocking the attack. When that happens Nemona's Meowscarada appears on Leaf's Meowscarada's right side. Nemona's Meowscarada turns into a fighting type its right-hand glows white and goes to chop down on Leaf's Meowscarada as Leaf speaks.

"Leafeon use Quick Attack!" Leaf calls Leafeon quickly shoots forward and intercepts Nemona's Meowscarada causing both mons to back away. Once they do Meowstic's protective barrier goes down as Leaf speaks.

"Now Meowscarada use U-Turn!" Leaf calls before Nemona could call for a command Leaf's Meowscarada turns into a bug type, its body glows in green bug energy and hits Meowstic causing super effective damage. Meowstic's sent flying a few feet away as Nemona speaks.

"Are you okay Meowstic?!" Nemona asks with the mon nodding, but it groans in pain. Meanwhile, Leaf's Meowscarada goes back in its Pokeball once it does Leaf's female Pyroar appears taking its place and lets out a loud roar as Leaf speaks.

"Pyroar use Fire Blast on Meowscarada!" Leaf calls Pyroar heats up its mouth and fires a big blast of fire that's powered up by the Sunny Day. The Fire Blast goes to hit Meowscarada as Nemona speaks.

"Use Double Team!" Nemona calls Meowscarada quickly creates multiple clones of itself and dodges the blast of fire. Leaf along with her Pokemon are surprised as then Meowscarada along with its clones begin running towards Pyroar as Leaf speaks.

"Pyroar use Flamethrower on Meowscarada and its clones! Leafeon use Quick Attack on Meowstic!" Leaf calls with the 2-mons nodding Leafeon instantly shoots forward heading towards Meowstic while Pyroar fires the stream of fire that heads for Meowscarada and its clones. Nemona then speaks.

"Meowstic hold Leafeon in place with Psychic and Meowscarada jump in the air to dodge then use Chilling Water!" Nemona calls. As Leaf's Leafeon's closing in on Meowstic, Meowstic fires out the waves of psychic energy and catches the mon. Meanwhile, Meowscarada along with its clones jump in the air easily avoiding the Flamethrower. After that they all turn into water types, create a ball of water and throw it at Pyroar as Leaf speaks.

"Pyroar use Fire Blast to get rid of the Chilling Water and Leafeon use Knock Off to break out of the Psychic then use Leaf Blade on Meowstic!" Leaf calls Pyroar fires the big blast of fire which connects with the chilling water creating an explosion. Leafeon covers its right paw in dark energy and swings it easily breaking out of the Psychic. Leafeon then runs forward going to use Leaf Blade on Meowstic as Nemona speaks.

"Meowstic dodge then use Psybeam on Pyroar and Meowscarada use Hone Claws then Brick Break on Pyroar!" Nemona calls. Meowstic manages to easily dodge Leafeon's attack then fires a psychic beam that hits Pyroar in the face causing damage. Then out of the smoke appears Meowscarada it's raised its attack/accuracy covers its left hand in fighting energy then slams it down hard on Pyroar's head making the lion crash face first on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Leaf speaks.

"Pyroar!" Leaf calls in worry when the smoke clears everyone can see Meowscarada standing over an unconscious Pyroar the ref makes the call.

"Pyroar's unable to battle!" The ref calls as Nemona speaks.

"Great job Meowscarada and Meowstic!" Nemona says with both mons nodding suddenly Leafeon appears in front of Meowstic as Leaf speaks.

"Leafeon use Solar beam!" Leaf calls Nemona's unable to call for a command in time as Leafeon fires a point-blank Solar beam in front of Meowstic consuming it and sending it crashing next to Nemona. Nemona looks at the cat and can see that it's knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Meowstic's unable to battle!" The ref calls making Leaf and Leafeon happy as the Sunny Day goes away Nemona speaks.

"Meowscarada use Acrobatics on Leafeon!" "Leafeon dodge!" Both trainers call Leafeon goes to dodge but can't in time as Meowscarada instantly appears in front of it. Meowscarada turns into a flying type then begins to hit Leafeon back and forth with each hit doing more than the last and causing super effective damage. Meowscarada then punches Leafeon hard in the face and sends it crashing below Leaf's feet. Once the smoke clears everyone can see that Leafeon's knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Leafeon's unable to battle!" The ref calls making Nemona and Meowscarada smile. Leaf's sad that Meowstic lost but smiles as she returns it along with Pyroar to their Pokeball's and speaks.

"Thank you and take a good rest" Leaf says as she puts the balls back on her belt. On the other side of the battlefield Nemona returns Meowstic to its Pokeball too and tells it thank you. Back in the stands the group continues to watch as Tracey speaks.

"They both now have one Pokémon left" Tracey says with the group nodding as they continue to watch. Back on the battlefield Leaf pulls out Meowscarada's Pokeball and speaks.

"Meowscarada come out!" Leaf says as she throws the ball forward and Meowscarada comes out the moment it does it looks at Nemona's Meowscarada with it looking back as the ref speaks.

"This is the final battle both trainers have one Pokémon left whoever knocks out their opponents Pokemon first will be declared the winner. If both trainers are ready, you may now continue!" The ref calls as Nemona speaks.

Both trainers call when Nemona's Meowscarada's about to shoot forward Leaf's Meowscarada disappears then reappears in front of Nemona's it becomes a dark type then covers its left fist in dark energy and punches Nemona's Meowscarada across the face causing some damage. Nemona's Meowscarada looks at Leaf's and gets its fist ready to as Nemona speaks.

"Use Brick Break!" "Meowscarada quick back away then use Play Rough!" Both trainers call Nemona's Meowscarada turns into a fighting type then goes to hit Leaf's with its left fist but Leaf's Meowscarada manages to back away in time. Once Leaf's Meowscarada gets to a safe distance it turns into a fairy type covers its fists in fairy energy then jumps towards Nemona's Meowscarada going to punch it as Nemona speaks.

"Use Double Team then jump in the air and use Chilling Water!" Nemona calls when Leaf's Meowscarada goes to hit Nemona's, Nemona's Meowscarada turns into a normal type and creates multiple clones of itself allowing it to dodge the attack. Then Nemona's Meowscarada along with its clones jump in the air they turn into water types create a ball of water and throw it at Leaf's Meowscarada as Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada blow it away with Leaf Storm!" Leaf calls her Meowscarada turns into a grass type and roars summoning a big storm of leaves that easily destroys the Chilling Water along with Nemona's Meowscarada clones. When it goes to hit the real one Nemona speaks.

"Now Acrobatics!" Nemona calls her Meowscarada, turns into a flying type and shoots forward. Nemona's Meowscarada goes so fast that it easily passes through the Leaf Storm clinches its right fist and punches Leaf's Meowscarada hard in the stomach making it cough in pain as they both crash on the battlefield Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada!" Leaf calls in worry. When the dust clears Leaf's Meowscarada's laying on its back groaning in pain it then sees Nemona's Meowscarada sitting on top of it. The mon has a smile on its face and has its fists ready as Nemona speaks.

"Now use Acrobatics again!" "Meowscarada quick use Flower Trick!" Both trainers call Nemona's Meowscarada turns into a flying type again its fists glow blue and goes to punch Leaf's Meowscarada. Leaf's Meowscarada sees the incoming fists then roars as suddenly a spotlight appears surprising Nemona's Meowscarada Nemona then speaks.

"Meowscarada look out!" Nemona calls when she says that suddenly a bouquet of flowers hit her Meowscarada on the head creating an explosion. Nemona's Meowscarada is sent flying back a couple feet away, Leaf's Meowscarada stands back up as Leaf speaks.

"Now use Thunder Punch!" Leaf calls her Meowscarada turns into an electric type covers its left fist in electricity then shoots forward and punches Nemona's Meowscarada hard in the face causing super effective damage. Nemona's Meowscarada looks at Leaf's and takes a deep breath as Nemona speaks.

"Meowscarada use Mud Slap!" Nemona calls as her Meowscarada turns into a ground type and shoots out some mud from its mouth which hits Leaf's Meowscarada in the face causing super effective damage. The mud also gets in its eyes blinding Leaf's Meowscarada and lowering its accuracy. As Leaf's Meowscarada tries to get the mud out of its eyes Nemona speaks.

"Now use Foul Play!" "Meowscarada use Play Rough in front of you!" Both trainers call Nemona's Meowscarada turns into a dark type then shoots forward going to hit Leaf's. Leaf's Meowscarada manages to get some of the mud out of its eyes, becomes a fairy type and shoots forward going to collide with Nemona's as Nemona speaks.

"Meowscarada dodge get behind Leaf's Meowscarada then use Chilling Water!" Nemona calls just when the 2 Meowscarada's are about to collide Nemona's Meowscarada dodges to the left and gets behind Leaf's Meowscarada. Leaf's Meowscarada looks behind as it sees Nemona's Meowscarada turn into a water type then throws a ball of water towards it and hits it in the face. The attack doesn't do much damage to Leaf's Meowscarada and gets the rest of the mud out of its eyes. But it does feel as though its attack got lowered. Nemona's Meowscarada begins running towards Leaf's as Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada use Aura Sphere!" Leaf calls her Meowscarada turns into a fairy type and fires not just one but two Aura Sphere's at the incoming Meowscarada. As the 2 balls of fighting energy are about to hit Nemona's Nemona speaks.

"Meowscarada use Double Team to dodge!" Nemona calls her Meowscarada, turns into a normal type, creates clones and manages to dodge the two Aura Spheres. Leaf knew Nemona would do that and calls for her next command.

"Meowscarada control the Aura Spheres and make them hit Nemona's Meowscarada!" Leaf calls her Meowscarada nods as it holds its hands forward and begins to control the 2 orbs making them easily destroy Nemona's Meowscarada's clones. As the 2 orbs are about to hit Nemona's Meowscarada Nemona speaks.

"Meowscarada grab them and throw them back at Leaf's Meowscarada!" Nemona calls surprising Leaf as Nemona's Meowscarada manages to easily grab the 2 Aura Spheres spins around and throws them back at Leaf's Meowscarada as Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada quick jump in the air to dodge!" Leaf calls her Meowscarada quickly jumps in the air and dodges the two spheres. When it does Nemona's Meowscarada appears and has its fists ready as Nemona speaks.

"Now use Acrobatics!" "Meowscarada counter with Thunder Punch!" Both trainers call Nemona's Meowscarada turns into a flying type and punches Leaf's Meowscarada hard in the face with its left fist causing super effective damage. When Nemona's Meowscarada goes to punch Leaf's Meowscarada again with its right fist Leaf's Meowscarada manages to catch it with its left fist, becomes an electric type and punches Nemona's Meowscarada hard in the face with Thunder Punch. Nemona's Meowscarada groans a little in pain but then smiles as it looks at Leaf's Meowscarada with it looking back as both trainers speak.

"Use Play Rough!" Both trainers call the 2 magicians roar as they become fairy types their fists glow in fairy energy and begin to repeatedly punch each other. As they continue to punch each other Nemona's Meowscarada has the upper hand at first landing many blows on Leaf's Meowscarada, but Leaf's Meowscarada won't give up as even though its punches aren't doing too much damage to Nemona's Meowscarada (thanks to the Chilling Water lowering its attack) Leaf's Meowscarada manages to keep up with Nemona's and lands many blows too. As the 2 magicians continue to punch each other in the air Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada use Thunder Punch!" Leaf calls her Meowscarada roars it becomes an electric type dodges another one of Nemona's Meowscarada's punches and punches the mon hard in the stomach. Nemona's Meowscarada coughs in pain as it's sent crashing back down on the battlefield creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears Nemona's Meowscarada stands back up it groans a little in pain and has electricity flowing throughout its body making it paralyzed as Nemona speaks.

"Meowscarada look in front of you!" Nemona says her Meowscarada looks forward it sees Leaf's Meowscarada land back on the ground and begins running towards it while forming an Aura Sphere in its right hand as Leaf speaks.

"Meowscarada end it with Aura Sphere!" Leaf calls her Meowscarada roars as it completely forms the move and continues running towards Nemona's Meowscarada as Nemona speaks.

"Counter with Play Rough!" Nemona calls her Meowscarada, turns into a fairy type covers its fists in fairy energy and waits for Leaf's Meowscarada as Leaf speaks.

"Do it Meowscarada!" "Counter it!" Both trainers call the 2 magicians yell as Leaf's Meowscarada slams the Aura Sphere in Nemona's Meowscarada's face while Nemona's Meowscarada punches Leaf's Meowscarada in the face with its left fist. The 2 mons begin pushing each other back and forth, the paralysis tries to slow down Nemona's Meowscarada, but the mon continues to push through it and is about to knock Leaf's Meowscarada away as Leaf speaks.

"Come On Meowscarada you can do it!" Leaf says as her Meowscarada roars increasing the power of its Aura Sphere making Nemona's Meowscarada groan a little in pain as Nemona speaks.

"You can do it Meowscarada!" Nemona cheers as her Meowscarada starts putting more power into its fist causing more damage to Leaf's Meowscarada but the mon doesn't give up. As the 2 mons continue to push each other back they're creating a strong wind as Leaf and Nemona speak.

"MEOWSCARADA GOOOOOOO!" "SCARDAAAAA!" Leaf, Nemona along with their Meowscarada's roar as they put more power into their attacks until there's a big explosion along with a strong gust of wind that tries to push Leaf and Nemona back, but the 2 girls stand strong. A few seconds later the wind stops everyone looks forward as when the dust clears, they can see the 2 Meowscarada's still standing on the battlefield they're looking at each other while panting heavily and their bodies swaying back and forth as both girls speak.

"Don't fall Meowscarada!" "Keep standing!" Leaf and Nemona say a couple seconds later the 2 magicians stop swaying their bodies as they look at each other. They continue to pant for a few seconds but stop as they smile at each other, they then close their eyes as they both fall on the battlefield laying on their stomachs and are knocked out. Everyone's surprised they then look at the ref who sees that neither Pokemon can continue anymore as he makes the call.

"Both Meowscarada's are unable to battle making this battle a tie!" The ref says surprising everyone as Misty speaks.

"A tie?" Misty says in surprise as Tracey speaks.

"This means that they're both equal" Tracey says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield both Leaf and Nemona are surprised about the result they then recompose themselves as they walk over to their respective Meowscarada. Once they reach them the 2 girls help them stand back up, both mons tell their trainer sorry as Leaf speaks.

"It's fine Meowscarada you did great" Leaf says with her Meowscarada nodding as Nemona speaks.

"You did amazing too Meowscarada" Nemona says with the mon nodding. Both girls then look at each other as Leaf speaks.

"I'm sad that our battle turned out to be a tie, but my Pokémon and I had fun" Leaf says while smiling as Nemona speaks.

"I agree my Pokémon, and I had fun too today may have been a tie but next we battle my Pokémon, and I will win" Nemona says while smiling with her Meowscarada agreeing with her as Leaf speaks.

"We'll see about that" Leaf says with her Meowscarada agreeing with her. After that both girls shake each other's hands as David speaks.

"What an amazing battle let's give them a round of applause folks!" David says as the crowd begins to clap for the two girls, making Leaf and Nemona smile as they wave to them. A couple minutes later Nemona and Leaf make it to the stands where the others are. The group tell them that their battle was amazing making both girls happy, after that Ash and Cameron walk over to the battlefield and go to their sides. Both boys are looking at each other and have smiles on their faces as David speaks.

"Seeing as the previous battle ended in a draw this battle will be the last one for today whoever wins will get the grand prize and I wish good luck to both trainers!" David says with both boys nodding the ref then makes himself known and speaks.

"This is a 4v4 double battle both trainers are allowed to substitute their Pokémon at any time and whoever knocks out all of their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner. Now will both trainers please bring out your first two Pokémon!" The ref says as Cameron pulls out 2 Pokeball's and speaks.

"Here I come Ash get ready! Perrserker, Absol come out!" Cameron says he throws the 2 balls forward as the 2 mons appear. Once they do, they both have serious looks on their faces as Ash speaks.

"Who are these Pokémon?" Ash questions as he along with Leaf take out their Pokedex's to scan them.

"Perrserker the hiking Pokémon a Steel type and the fully evolved form of Galarian Meowth. After many battles, it evolved dangerous claws that come together to form daggers when extended." "Absol, the Disaster Pokémon and a Dark type. Absol live in steep mountainous regions, and rarely venture down into areas inhabited by humans, but should an Absol be seen by humans, it is said that catastrophe is soon to follow." The Pokedex's say as Ash speaks.

"So, that's who they are I've to say they both look cool" Ash says as Cameron speaks.

"Thanks, so who're you using?" Cameron asks as Ash pulls out two Pokeball's and speaks.

"I'll be using these two first. Torracat, Pyroar I choose you!" Ash says he throws the two balls forward as Torracat and Pyroar appear. The moment they do they let out a roar showcasing their power, they then look forward and see their opponents. The 2 mons instantly get into battle stances with Cameron's Pokémon doing the same as Cameron speaks.

"Looks like our Pokémon are ready to battle" Cameron says with Ash nodding. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"Ash better be careful Cameron's Perrserker and Absol look strong" Tracey says as Misty speaks.

"Don't worry I'm confident that Ash can win" Misty says as Leaf and Nemona speak.

"Go! Ash!" Both girls cheer loudly for Ash making him smile. Ash then looks forward and speaks.

"Torracat, Pyroar I'm counting on you let's show Cameron just how strong we are!" Ash says with the 2-mons nodding the ref then speaks.

"Now that both trainers have sent out their first 2 Pokemon let the battle begin!" The ref says as Ash speaks.

"Let's attack first Torracat use Flame Charge on Absol and Pyroar use Flamethrower on Perrserker!" Ash calls as the 2 mons are about to use their moves Cameron speaks.

"Perrserker use Fake Out on Torracat and Absol use Sucker Punch on Pyroar!" Cameron calls the 2 mons shoot forward and instantly reach their respective opponents. Once they do Perrserker claps its hands together, in front of Torracat causing it to stop while Absol punches Pyroar hard in the face making the fire lion slide back a couple feet away. Cameron then calls for his next commands.

"Now Perrserker use Night Slash on Torracat and Absol use Water Pulse on Pyroar!" Cameron calls Perrserker covers its right claws in dark energy while Absol fires a ball of water towards Pyroar. As the 2 attacks are about to hit their respective target Ash speaks.

"Torracat counter with Revenge and Pyroar dodge then use Flame Charge!" Ash calls Torracat's right paw glows orange and connects with Perrserker's claws creating an explosion and causing both mons to slide away from each other. Meanwhile Pyroar manages to easily dodge the Water Pulse by moving to the left, Pyroar covers its body in fire and begins running towards Absol as Cameron speaks.

"Absol counter with Foul Play!" Cameron calls Absol roars it covers its body in dark energy runs forward and collides with Pyroar. The 2 mons begin pushing each other back and forth trying to knock their opponent away. As they continue Ash calls for a command.

"Pyroar back away and Torracat use Fire Blast!" Ash calls Pyroar quickly backs away from Absol making the mon stumble forward a little bit. Torracat then summons a big blast of fire from its bell slaps it with its right paw and sends it towards Absol as Cameron speaks.

"Absol use Protect and Perrserker use Hyper Voice!" Cameron calls when the Fire Blast goes to hit Absol the mon summons a protective barrier and blocks the attack. Perrserker then appears takes a deep breath and lets out a loud sound that heads for Torracat and Pyroar as Ash speaks.

"Pyroar counter with your Hyper Voice!" Ash calls Pyroar lets out a loud roar sending out its own Hyper Voice that connects with Perrserker's causing both moves to cancel each other out. When that happens Ash's Torracat appears in front of Perrserker as Ash speaks.

"Now Torracat use Flame Charge and Pyroar use Flamethrower!" Ash calls Torracat quickly heats up its body in fire and hits Perrserker causing damage and making it slide back a few feet away. Torracat gets a speed increase while Pyroar then fires the stream of fire towards Perserrker as Cameron speaks.

"Absol quick use Psycho Cut and Perrserker use Dig on Torracat!" Cameron calls Absol's horn glows in psychic energy then swings it sending it towards Pyroar's Flamethrower. The 2 moves connect creating an explosion and allowing Perrserker to dig underground. Perrserker doesn't stay underground for long as it appears out from under Torracat sending it high into the air, Perrserker then jumps after Torracat and reaches it. Perrserker gets its left claws ready as Cameron speaks.

"Now Night Slash!" "Torracat counter with Fire Fang!" Both trainers call Perrserker covers its left claws in dark energy while Torracat covers its mouth in fire the 2 mons collide creating an explosion as they back away from each other and land on the ground. Once they do Cameron's Absol gets ready as Cameron speaks.

"Now Absol use Dark Pulse on Torracat!" Cameron calls Absol quickly fires the stream of dark energy it goes to hit Torracat as Ash speaks.

"Pyroar use Fire Fang to destroy the Dark Pulse then use Noble Roar!" Ash calls Pyroar gets in front of Torrcat covers its teeth in fire and bites down on the Dark Pulse easily destroying it. Once the Dark Pulse's gone Pyroar takes a deep breath and lets out a mighty roar that heads for Absol and Perrserker as Cameron speaks.

"Absol use Protect and Perrserker get behind Absol then use Hone Claws!" Cameron calls with both mons nodding. Perrserker quickly gets behind Absol as Absol summons the protective barrier easily blocking the Noble Roar. As it's doing that Perrserker sharply increases its attack/accuracy, when the Noble roar ends and the Protect barrier goes down Ash speaks.

"Now Torracat use Fire Blast and Pyroar use Work Up!" Ash calls Torracat launches the big blast of fire while Pyroar roars increasing its special attack/attack power. The Fire Blast goes to hit Perrserker and Absol as Cameron speaks.

"Perrserker use Night Slash on the Fire Blast and Absol use Swords Dance then run towards Pyroar!" Cameron calls Perrserker jumps forward covers both claws in dark energy and slashes the Fire Blast in half easily destroying it. Absol sharply increases its attack power then begins running towards Pyroar as Ash speaks.

"Pyroar use Flamethrower!" "Absol use Double Team to dodge and hit Pyroar with Aerial Ace!" Both trainers call Pyroar covers its mouth in fire and shoots out the stream of fire. The Flamethrower goes to hit Absol but the mon creates multiple clones of itself easily dodging the attack. When that happens Absol begins to run faster until it hits Pyroar making the lion slide a few feet away as Ash speaks.

"Pyroar!" Ash calls in worry as Pyroar looks at Ash telling him that he's fine, but that Aerial Ace did hurt. Pyroar then looks forward and sees Absol charging up a Psycho Cut as Cameron speaks.

"Now fire another Psycho Cut Absol!" "Torracat use Fire Fang!" Both trainers call when Absol's about to fire the Psycho Cut Torracat appears on its left side and is about to bite Absol as Cameron speaks.

"Perrserker use Double Edge!" Cameron calls Perrserker covers its body in white energy shoots forward and rams its head into Torracat's right side making the mon cough in pain. Torracat is then sent crashing next to Pyroar creating a cloud of dust. When the dust clears Torracat stands back up but is groaning in pain, Pyroar asks if Torracat's okay with the fire cat nodding as they look forward. They see Perrserker take some recoil damage from the Double Edge and see that Absol's ready to fire its move as Cameron speaks.

"Now fire Absol!" "Torracat, Pyroar dodge then use Flame Charge!" Both trainers call when Absol fires its move Torracat and Pyroar easily dodge it. Once they do the 2 fire types cover their bodies in fire then begin running towards Absol and Perrserker as Cameron speaks.

"Sorry to tell you this Ash but a head on attack isn't going to work on my Pokemon. Absol use Dark Pulse and Perrserker use Hyper Voice!" Cameron calls the 2-mons fire their attacks they go to hit Torracat and Pyroar as Ash speaks.

"Who said that this was going to be a head on attack? Torracat, Pyroar dodge then run around Absol and Perrserker!" Ash calls with the 2-mons nodding. Torracat along with Pyroar easily evade the Dark Pulse and Hyper Voice. They then begin running around Absol and Perrserker. As they're running around Absol along with Perrserker try to keep up with their movements as Cameron speaks.

"Absol use Psycho Cut and Perrserker use Dig!" Cameron calls as Ash speaks.

"Hit them!" Ash calls before Absol and Perrserker can use their moves Pyroar along with Torracat shoot forward. Torracat hits Absol while Pyroar hits Perrserker causing damage to both mons and making them slide back. When Absol along with Perrserker are about to counter Torracat and Pyroar begin running around the 2 mons again and have become even faster making it more difficult for Absol and Perrserker to keep track of them. Up in the stands Tracey speaks.

"I see so by having Torracat and Pyroar run around Absol and Perrserker it'll allow for not only them dodging their attacks but also hit them before they can use their moves. Also, when Absol and Perrserker are about to counter Torracat and Pyroar go back to running around with their new increased speed making it harder for Absol and Perrserker to keep track of them" Tracey says with Misty nodding as Leaf and Nemona speak.

"Yeah! Go! Ash!" The 2 girl's cheer. Back on the battlefield Cameron's trying to think of a way for his Pokemon to hit Torracat and Pyroar but nothing is coming to mind. As Cameron continues to think he then pulls his Headband away from his head lets go and lets it hit his head. Everyone's surprised at what Cameron just did as the boy smiles and speaks.

"I just got a great idea!" Cameron says happily as he speaks.

"Okay Absol use Blizzard!" "I don't think so Torracat, Pyroar quick hit Absol with Flame Charge!" Both trainers call when Absol's about to use Blizzard Torracat along with Pyroar instantly shoot forward as they're about to hit Absol Cameron speaks.

"Now Perrserker use Metal Sound!" Cameron calls Perrserker lets out a loud metallic screech that stops Torracat and Pyroar in their tracks as they're forced to cover their ears. Once they do, they can feel their special defense decrease harshly as Cameron speaks.

"Now fire Absol!" "Torracat, Pyroar look out!" Both trainers call Torracat along with Pyroar can't dodge in time as Absol fires a large Blizzard that hits both mons. Once it does Torracat along with Pyroar are groaning in pain their bodies begin to freeze too as Cameron speaks.

"That's it Absol keep going and Perrserker when Torracat and Pyroar are completely frozen use Double Edge!" Cameron calls with the 2-mons nodding. Absol continues using Blizzard while Perrserker waits for the 2 mons to be completely frozen back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"This is bad if Ash doesn't do something quick Torracat and Pyroar are going to lose" Tracey says with concern in his voice. Misty along with Leaf continue to cheer Ash on while Nemona's silent and continues to watch the battle waiting to see what Ash's going to do. Back on the battlefield Torracat along with Pyroar are almost completely frozen as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Sorry Cameron but we're not done yet! Torracat, Pyroar melt the ice with Fire Blast and Overheat then use Fire Spin!" Ash calls the 2-mons roar as they heat up their bodies easily melting the ice. When they do, they then fire a flaming tornado that successfully traps Absol and Perrserker inside and causes damage to them as Cameron speaks.

"Absol destroy it with Psycho Cut!" Cameron calls Absol quickly fires the psychic blade and cuts the fire tornado in half easily destroying it. Once it does Absol along with Perrserker see Torracat's bell appendage ringing as Ash speaks.

"Now use Fire Blast on Perrserker!" Ash says as out of Torracat's bell appears a big blast of fire, Torracat then slaps it with its right paw and sends it towards Perrserker as Cameron speaks.

"Sorry Ash but that's not going to work! Absol get in front of Perrserker and use Protect!" Cameron calls when the Fire Blast goes to hit Perrserker Absol appears in front of it quickly summons a protective barrier and begins to block the attack. As Absol continues to block the fire blast Ash's Pyroar is heating up its body as Ash speaks.

"Pyroar use Overheat to add more power to the Fire Blast!" Ash calls Pyroar roars as it fires a big wave of heat that connects with the Fire Blast adding more power to it and making it more difficult for Absol to hold the protect up as the barrier begins to crack Cameron then speaks.

"Absol use Double Team and Perrserker quick use Dig to dodge!" "Oh no you don't! Torracat use Flame Charge then jump in the air!" Both trainers call before Absol and Perrserker can use their moves Torracat suddenly appears behind them. Torracat covers its body in fire shoots forward and hits Perrserker's back making it go flying as it hits Absol too causing both mons to fall on the ground. When that happens Torracat jumps in the air as the Protect barrier disappears, Absol and Perrserker then see the combined Fire Blast an Overheat head for them as Ash speaks.

"GO!" Ash yells as Pyroar roars. Cameron's unable to tell the 2 mons to dodge as the combined Fire Blast and Overheat hits them creating an explosion along with a big gust of wind as Cameron speaks.

"Absol, Perrserker!" Cameron yells in worry. A few seconds later Torracat lands next to Pyroar as they both look forward waiting to see the results. Once the smoke clears and the wind goes away everyone can see Absol along with Perrserker laying on the ground knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Absol and Perrserker are both unable to battle making Pyroar and Torracat the winners!" The ref calls as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Alright!" Ash cheers along with Pikachu, Torracat and Pyroar. The crowd cheers too along with Ash's friends. Back on the battlefield Cameron's sad that Perrserker and Absol lost and returns them to their Pokeball's. Once he does, he tells them thank you then looks over at Ash and speaks.

"Man, I thought I had Torracat and Pyroar beat for a second there." Cameron says as Ash speaks.

"Yeah, I was a bit worried too, but I knew that Torracat and Pyroar wouldn't let themselves be frozen" Ash says with Cameron nodding. Cameron then pulls out his final Pokeball's and speaks.

"Well, I'm not done yet Liepard, Meowstic go!" Cameron says he throws the 2 balls forward as a four-legged purple cat like Pokémon and a blue bipedal cat Pokémon appear. The 2-mons stare at Torracat and Pyroar with Torracat and Pyroar staring back as Ash speaks.

"That blue one is most likely the male version of Meowstic and who's the other one?" Ash says as he takes out his Pokedex to scan the mon.

"Liepard, the Cruel Pokémon and a pure Dark Type. Well-known for its beauty, Liepard uses the element of surprise when battling opponents, attacking before they can react." The Pokedex says as Cameron speaks.

"Liepard, Meowstic I'm counting on you!" Cameron says with the 2-mons nodding as they get in a battle stance. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.

"Torracat and Pyroar are worn out from the previous battle it would be best to switch. Torracat, Pyroar return!" "Not so fast! Meowstic use Mean Look!" Both trainers call when Ash goes to return Torracat and Pyroar Meowstic's eyes glow as a shadowy figure appears and connects with Torracat and Pyroar. Once it does Torracat and Pyroar are unable to go back to their Pokeball's surprising them and Ash as Cameron speaks.

"Now Liepard use Nasty Plot then Hyper Beam on Pyroar!" Cameron calls Liepard roars sharply increasing its special attack power then fires a big Hyper Beam at Pyroar as Ash speaks.

"Pyroar counter with Overheat!" Ash calls Pyroar roars and fires the move as it collides with the Hyper Beam. Unfortunately for Pyroar since it already used Overheat the one it's using now isn't as strong as the first one, so Liepard's Hyper Beam easily goes through the Overheat and hits Pyroar creating an explosion as Ash speaks.

"Pyroar!" Ash calls in worry out of the smoke appears Pyroar it lays below Ash's feet knocked out. Ash has a surprised look on his face as Cameron speaks.

"We're not done yet Liepard use Night Slash on Torracat!" "Torracat counter with Flame Charge!" Both trainers call Liepard covers its claws in dark energy then jumps towards Torracat while Torracat covers its body in fire shoots forward and collides with Liepard. Torracat manages to easily knock Liepard away making it land a few feet away as Ash speaks.

"Now use Fire Blast!" Ash calls when Torracat goes to use the move Cameron speaks.

"Meowstic stop Torracat with Psychic!" Cameron calls Meowstic quickly fires the waves of psychic energy and stops Torracat in its tracks surprising Ash and the fire cat as Cameron speaks.

"Now use Psyshock!" "Torracat get out of there!" Both trainers call Meowstic summons multiple orbs of psychic energy and sends them at Torracat. Torracat tries to break out of the psychic hold but doesn't have time to as the Psyshock hits Torracat creating an explosion as Ash speaks.

"Torracat!" Ash calls in worry as out of the smoke appears Torracat it also lands below Ash's feet too and is knocked out the ref speaks.

"Both Torracat and Pyroar are unable to battle!" The ref calls as Cameron speaks.

"Alright! Great job Liepard, Meowstic!" Cameron says happily with the two-mons nodding. Up in the stands Ash's friends are surprised as Misty speaks.

"I can't believe that Torracat and Pyroar lost" Misty says as Tracey speaks.

"Unfortunately, they were both not only tired from their previous battle, but Ash was also unable to switch them out thanks to the Mean Look" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.

"And now they both only have 2 Pokémon left" Leaf says with the group nodding. Meanwhile Nemona continues to look at the battlefield in silence. Back on the battlefield Ash along with Pikachu are surprised that Torracat and Pyroar went down. Ash then shakes his head, bends down, looks at the 2 mons and speaks.

"Torracat, Pyroar are you okay?" Ash asks as the 2-mons look at him nod and tell Ash sorry as Ash speaks.

"Hey, it's okay you both did your best" Ash says with the 2-mons nodding. After that 2 of Ash's Pokeball's begin to wriggle as Floragato and Luxio appear. They both go to Torracat and Pyroar respectively asking if they're okay with the 2-mons saying that they're making Floragato and Luxio happy. After that Ash returns Torracat and Pyroar to their Pokeball's then looks at Floragato and Luxio then speaks.

"Alright it's your turn now you ready?" Ash asks with the 2-mons nodding as Ash speaks.

"Okay Floragato, Luxio I choose you!" Ash says as the 2 mons jump on the battlefield and get into battle stances. They glare at Cameron's Liepard and Meowstic with them glaring back as Cameron speaks.

"So, a Floragato and Luxio are next they seem strong" Cameron says as Ash speaks.

"They are and will also get revenge for Torracat and Pyroar!" Ash says with the 2-mons agreeing with him as the ref speaks.

"This is the final battle both trainers have 2 Pokémon each whoever defeats all of their opponents Pokemon first will be declared the winner. If both trainers are ready, you may now begin!" The ref says as Cameron speaks.

"We'll attack first Liepard use Hyper Beam on Floragato and Meowstic use Psychic on Luxio!" Cameron calls the 2-mons fire their moves heading for their respective target as Ash speaks.

"Floragato dodge the Hyper Beam use Hone Claws and run towards Meowstic. Luxio use Crunch on the Psychic!" Ash calls Floragato easily evades the Hyper Beam by moving to the right sharply increases its attack/accuracy with Hone Claws and begins running towards Meowstic. Meanwhile, as the Psychic goes to hit Luxio the electric cat covers its teeth in dark energy and bites down on the Psychic easily destroying it. As Floragato continues running towards Meowstic Cameron speaks.

"Liepard stop Floragato with Night Slash!" Cameron calls Liepard covers its claws in dark energy and jumps towards Floragato going to hit it as Ash speaks.

"Luxio quick use Thunder then Wild Charge!" "Dodge Liepard then counter with Foul Play!" Both trainers call when Liepard goes to strike Floragato Luxio quickly fires a large electric bolt that heads for Liepard. Liepard quickly notices and manages to dodge in time. Once it does it sees Luxio running towards it while using Wild Charge, Liepard covers its body in dark energy then shoots forward and collides with Luxio. The 2 mons begin pushing each other back and forth until they both slide away from each other. Meanwhile, Floragato continues running towards Meowstic and gets its claws ready as Ash speaks.

"Floragato use Night Slash!" "Meowstic use Protect!" Both trainers call Floragato covers its claws in dark energy then jumps forward going to hit Meowstic. Meowstic quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks Floragato's attack making the grass cat bounce a few feet away as Cameron speaks.

"Now use Psyshock!" "Floragato counter with Razor Leaf!" Both trainers call Meowstic fires multiple orbs of psychic energy while Floragato fires with multiple razor-sharp leaves. The 2 moves collide creating multiple explosions suddenly 2 more psychic orbs head for Floragato as Ash speaks.

"Use Night Slash!" Ash calls Floragato covers its claws in dark energy and easily destroys the 2 psychic orbs as Cameron speaks.

"Now Meowstic grab it with Psychic!" Cameron calls Meowstic quickly fires the waves of psychic energy and manages to grab Floragato as Ash speaks.

"Floragato break out of their with Night Slash!" "I don't think so Meowstic use Disarming Voice!" Both trainers call before Floragato can break out of the psychic Meowstic lets out a charming voice that stops Floragato and makes it cry out in pain as Cameron speaks.

"Now Liepard use Night Slash on Floragato!" "Luxio quick stop Liepard with Thunder!" "Meowstic use Psybeam on Luxio!" Both trainers' call. As Liepard begins running towards Floragato Luxio goes to fire a Thunder but Meowstic quickly fires a beam of psychic energy and hits Luxio making it slide back a few feet. Meanwhile Liepard continues running towards the restrained Floragato once it gets close enough Liepard jumps forward covers its claws in dark energy and slashes Floragato's back with Night Slash making the grass cat cry out in pain as Cameron speaks.

"Now Meowstic send Floragato back at Luxio!" Cameron calls Meowstic's eyes glow and sends Floragato back at Luxio. When Luxio's about to stand back up suddenly, Floragato crashes into it causing both mons to fall on the ground groaning in pain as Cameron speaks.

"Now it's time to finish this Liepard use Hyper Beam!" Cameron calls Liepard roars and fires a big Hyper Beam towards Floragato and Luxio as Ash speaks.

"Luxio quick use Thunder times 2!" Ash calls Luxio quickly stands back up and roars as it fires 2 large electric bolts that collide with the Hyper Beam. The 2 attacks go back and forth fighting for dominance to see who's stronger. As they keep doing that Liepard's Hyper Beam begins to overpower the 2 Thunders as Cameron speaks.

"That's it Liepard more power!" Cameron calls Liepard roars as it increases the power of the Hyper Beam more Ash then speaks.

"Come on Luxio I know you can do it!" Ash says Luxio roars too and begins putting more power into its Thunder. Once it does Cameron speaks.

"Meowstic use Psyshock!" Cameron calls Meowstic fires multiple orbs of psychic energy. They head for Luxio as Ash speaks.

"Floragato use Night Slash!" Ash calls Floragato stands back up covers its claws in dark energy and begins to slash through the psychic orbs so that they don't hit Luxio. Once that happens Cameron smiles and speaks.

"Now hold them still with Psychic!" Cameron calls Meowstic fires the waves of psychic energy and manages to hold Luxio along with Floragato still, making them stop and making Luxio's 2 Thunders disappear as Ash speaks.

"Floragato quick use Night Slash and Luxio use Crunch to break out of there!" "Sorry Ash but it's too late do it Liepard!" Both trainers' call. Before Luxio and Floragato can try to attempt at breaking the psychic hold Liepard's Hyper Beam hits them creating a big explosion as Ash speaks.

"Floragato, Luxio!" Ash yells in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Floragato and Luxio laying on the ground groaning in pain as Cameron speaks.

"Alright just one more attack and we win Meowstic use Psyshock!" Cameron calls Meowstic summons multiple psychic orbs and sends them at the 2 mons as Ash speaks.

"Floragato, Luxio dodge!" Ash calls but the 2 mons continue to groan in pain. Back in the stands Ash's friends have concerned looks on their faces as Tracey speaks.

"If that Psyshock hits them it's over" Tracey says as Misty and Leaf speak.

"Floragato, Luxio quick move!" "Togi!" The 2 girls along with Togepi cheer the 2 mons on while Nemona continues to watch in silence. Back on the battlefield as the Psyshock's getting closer Ash speaks.

"Floragato, Luxio I know that you're in pain, but I know that you can dodge this don't give up!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer while Floragato and Luxio continue to groan in pain. We now go inside their minds both mons don't want to lose this battle for Ash but are in too much pain to move, as they're about to give up they then remember that Torracat and Pyroar were in a lot of pain during their battle too and didn't give up until the end. Floragato and Luxio then get determined looks on their faces as they then manage to jump away from the Psyshock dodging it as Cameron speaks.

"So, they still have some strength left" Cameron says as Ash speaks.

"Yeah! I knew you 2 could do it!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu say as the 2 mons look at them and smile. After that Floragato and Luxio look back at Cameron's Liepard and Meowstic then roar.

"FLORA!" "LUX!" The 2-mons yell as they're then enveloped into a bright light surprising everyone as Cameron speaks.

"No way they're" Before Cameron can finish Ash speaks.

"They're evolving!" Ash says happily while Pikachu cheers. Everyone continues to look forward as they see the 2-mons change and grow bigger. Once the evolutions stop what were once a Floragato and Luxio now stand a Meowscarada and Luxray as they roar.

"MEOW!" "LUX!" The 2-mons roar sending out a shockwave showcasing their power. Back in the stands Misty speaks.

"They evolved!" Misty says happily as Tracey speaks.

"I'm guessing that since they didn't want to lose the battle for Ash, they wanted to grow stronger and evolved" Tracey says with Misty nodding as Leaf speaks.

"Yeah! Go Meowscarada and Luxray!" "Togi!" Leaf cheers along with Togepi. Meanwhile with Nemona she has a smile on her face. Back on the battlefield Ash has his Pokedex out and speaks.

"Wow looks like you guys learned some new moves too okay let's do this!" Ash says with the 2-mons roaring in agreement as Cameron speaks.

"Liepard, Meowstic they may have evolved but they're still damaged from before we'll end this quickly!" Cameron says with the 2-mons nodding. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Cameron speaks.

"Okay Liepard use Hyper Beam on Meowscarada!" Cameron calls when Liepard goes to use the move Ash speaks.

"Meowscarada quick use Flower Trick!" Ash calls before Liepard can fire its move Meowscarada roars summoning a bouquet of flowers above Liepard and drops it on the mons head creating an explosion as Cameron speaks.

"Liepard!" Cameron calls in worry as out of the smoke appears Liepard and its groaning in pain as Cameron speaks.

"Okay let's try this Meowstic use Disarming Voice on Meowscarada!" Cameron calls Meowstic lets out a charming voice that heads for Meowscarada as Ash speaks.

"Luxray use Thunder Fang on the Disarming Voice and Meowscarada use Hone Claws then run towards Meowstic!" Ash calls Luxray immediately appears in front of Meowscarada covers its mouth in electric energy and bites down on the Disarming Voice easily destroying it. After that Meowscarada sharply increases its attack/accuracy again and begins running towards Meowstic as Cameron speaks.

"I won't let you Liepard quick use Play Rough on Meowscarada!" Cameron calls Liepard roars it covers its claws in fairy energy and jumps forward going to hit Meowscarada as Ash speaks.

"Oh no you don't Luxray use Charge Beam!" Ash calls Luxray fires an electric beam from its mouth and hits Liepard's right side sending it a few feet away. Luxray gets a special attack increase as Ash speaks.

"Now Meowscarada use Night Slash on Meowstic!" Ash calls Meowscarada covers its claws in dark energy and goes to hit Meowstic as Cameron speaks.

"You already tried this, Ash. Meowstic use Protect!" Cameron calls Meowstic quickly summons a protective barrier when Meowscarada's about to make contact with the barrier Ash speaks.

"Meowscarada jump over the barrier!" Ash calls surprising Cameron as Meowscarada manages to easily jump over the barrier and gets behind Meowstic. Meowscarada looks at Meowstic and has its right claws ready as Ash speaks.

"Now Night Slash!" "Meowstic look out!" Both trainers call Meowstic doesn't have time to dodge as Meowscarada covers its right claws in dark energy shoots forward and slashes Meowstic. Meowstic cries out in pain as it lays on the ground knocked out the ref then speaks.

"Meowstic's unable to battle!" The ref calls as Ash speaks.

"Yeah! Great job Meowscarada!" Ash says happily as the magician looks at Ash and smiles. Suddenly Liepard appears in front of Meowscarada as Cameron speaks.

"We got you now Liepard use Hyper Beam!" "Meowscarada dodge!" Both trainers call when Liepard fires the beam Meowscarada quickly jumps in the air avoiding the blast. The Hyper Beam's now heading for Luxray who's sparking its body as Ash speaks.

"Luxray use Thunder times 2!" Ash calls Luxray roars and fires 2 Thunders that collide with the Hyper Beam. Once the attacks collide the Hyper Beam begins to overpower the 2 Thunders as Cameron speaks.

"That's it Liepard just a little more!" Cameron calls with Liepard nodding as it roars increasing the power of its beam making it push the 2 Thunders back as Ash speaks.

"Sorry Cameron but it's not going to end the same way as last time Luxray use Thunder times 4!" Ash calls "What?!" Cameron says in surprise as Luxray roars and summons 2 more Thunders that also connect with the Hyper Beam and begin pushing it back as Cameron speaks.

"Liepard more power!" Cameron calls Liepard roars increasing the power of its Hyper Beam more as Ash speaks.

"Come on Luxray!" Ash cheers as Luxray roars increasing the power of its 4 Thunders but Luxray then starts to feel the damage it received earlier decreasing the power of its Thunders. Ash is surprised as Cameron speaks.

"Looks like Luxray can't keep up anymore it's Liepard's win!" Cameron says happily as Ash speaks.

"True if this was a single battle then Luxray would've lost but this is a double battle remember?" Ash says while having a smile on his face making Cameron confused. A few seconds later Cameron now realizes what Ash means then speaks.

"Wait where's Meowscarada?" Cameron says as he looks in the air and sees Meowscarada holding a seed in her right paw as Cameron speaks.

"Oh no!" Cameron says as Ash speaks.

"Yep, now Meowscarada use Seed Bomb!" Ash calls Meowscarada roars as she throws the seed at Liepard which hits the mon creating an explosion as Cameron yells.

"Liepard!" Cameron yells in worry as when the smoke clears Liepard's still standing but groaning in pain and the power of its Hyper Beam begins to decrease as Ash speaks.

"This is it Luxray FULL POWER!" "PIKA!" "LUX!" Ash, Pikachu, and Luxray yell as Luxray puts more power into its 4 Thunders which destroys Liepard's Hyper Beam and heads for the mon as Cameron speaks.

"LIEPARD DODGE!" "DO IT LUXRAY!" Both trainers call while Luxray roars. Liepard's unable to dodge as the 4 Thunders hit it creating an explosion along with a big gust of wind as Cameron yells.

"LIEPARD!" Cameron yells in worry. Everyone looks at the cloud of smoke waiting for it to clear so that they can see the results. Meanwhile Luxray's panting heavily as she's about to fall Meowscarada lands next to Luxray and keeps her from falling. Luxray looks at Meowscarada and says thank you with Meowscarada smiling back, they then look forward and wait for the smoke to clear too. A few seconds later the smoke clears and everyone can see Liepard laying on its stomach knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Liepard along with Meowstic are unable to battle making Luxray and Meowscarada the winners. Contestant Cameron has no more Pokémon left meaning that contestant Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town is the winner!" The ref says as David speaks.

"And there you have it folks this year's Dog & Cat Pokémon Competition winner is Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town!" David says making Ash smile as he speaks.

"WE DID IT!" "Pika!" "Meow!" "Lux!" Ash along with Pikachu, Meowscarada and Luxray cheer while the crowd cheers/claps for them. In the stands Ash's friends cheer for him as Tracey speaks.

"It was close, but Ash was able to win" Tracey says as Misty and Leaf speak.

"Yay Ash!" "Prr!" Misty, Leaf, and Togepi cheer. We then look at Nemona she has a smile on her face as she speaks.

"Amazing!" Nemona says happily as she begins to cheer too. Back on the battlefield Ash along with Pikachu run on the battlefield and give Meowscarada along with Luxray a hug then speaks.

"You two were amazing and congrats again on evolving!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu say making the 2-mons smile as they hug him back. After that 2 of Ash's Pokeball's wriggle as Torracat and Pyroar appear. The 2 mons look at Meowscarada and Luxray then walk over to them. Once they do Pyroar tells Luxray great job and congratulates Luxray on evolving making Luxray happy as they then affectionately rub their faces on each other. Torracat looks at Meowscarada and tells her congratulations on winning/evolving too making Meowscarada happy. Meowscarada then ask's Torracat if he thinks she looks pretty with Torracat saying that she does, this makes Meowscarada happy as she then picks up Torracat hugs him and gives him a big kiss on his left cheek making Torracat blush while everyone else laugh. Meanwhile on the other side of the battlefield Cameron's sad that he lost then returns Liepard and Meowstic to their Pokeball's. Once he does, he looks at the 2 balls and speaks.

"Liepard, Meowstic you did great thank you" Cameron says and puts them back on his belt. Lucario then asks Cameron if he's alright with the boy saying that he is as they then hear a voice.

"Cameron!" The voice says causing Cameron and Lucario to turn around as they see Ash along with his Pokémon running over to him (Meowscarada still has Torracat in her arms). Once they get close enough Ash looks at Cameron and speaks.

"That was a great battle Cameron my Pokémon, and I had fun" Ash says with his Pokémon nodding as Cameron speaks.

"Yeah, my Pokémon and I had fun too but next time we'll win right Lucario?!" Cameron says with Lucario nodding making Ash along with his Pokémon excited. 5 minutes later we see Ash along with Pikachu, Meowscarada, Torracat, Pyroar, Luxray and Lycanroc standing next to David with the crowd along with Ash's friends looking at them as David looks at Ash and speaks.

"I just want to say congratulations on winning again young man not only did you showcase your dog Pokémon searching skills to find rare items but also showcased how strong your cat Pokémon are in battle." David says making Ash along with his Pokémon smile as David continues.

"Now as for your reward not only will you receive a 1-year supply of Dog & Cat Pokémon food but also a Gold Nugget which you can sell to buy something for you along with your friends/family" David says as he hands Ash the food along with the nugget Ash looks at David and speaks.

"Thank you, sir," Ash says with David nodding as David then looks at the crowd and speaks.

"Now let's all give one more round of applause for Ash Ketchum and his Pokémon!" David says as the crowd begins to clap/cheer for him. After that Ash along with his Pokémon get their picture taken, he also sends the food to his mom's house he also sells the Gold Nugget along with the Big Nugget and gets a lot of money out of them. Once that's over everyone begins to head out as the sun's now beginning to set, we see the group look at Nemona and Cameron as Ash speaks.

"So, you guys are heading out?" Ash asks as Cameron speaks.

"Yeah, I'm heading to Knight Island to train up my Pokémon so that I'll be ready for my next gym challenge" Cameron says as Nemona speaks.

"And I'm heading back to the hotel to meet up with Rika, Larry, and Hassel as our ferry for Trovita Island is heading out soon" Nemona says with the group nodding as Ash looks over at Cameron and speaks.

"So, you're going to Knight Island huh? Cool the training there is pretty tough" Ash says as Cameron speaks.

"That's what I'm hoping for and now we'll be taking are leave see you guys later!" Cameron says as he along with Lucario begin running to catch their boat. The group look at them leave as Misty speaks.

"And they're gone" Misty says as Tracey speaks.

"They certainly have a lot of energy" Tracey says with the group nodding Nemona then looks at Ash and speaks.

"Hey Ash, we may have not gotten the chance to battle today but the next time we meet I'm going to challenge you" Nemona says while having a smile on her face making Ash smile as he looks at her and speaks.

"I look forward to it and when we get to battle each other again my Pokémon, and I will win" Ash says with Pikachu nodding making Nemona smile as she speaks.

"Well, I'll be off it was great seeing you all again and Ash good luck on your next gym challenge" Nemona says with the group nodding as Ash speaks.

"Thanks, and good luck on your next gym challenge" Ash says with Nemona nodding. After that Nemona leaves and begins running towards the hotel with the group waving her goodbye. The group continue to wave goodbye until they can't see her anymore as Tracey speaks.

"We should get going too" Tracey says with Ash, Misty, and Leaf agreeing as they head back to the beach. Once they reach it Ash brings out Lapras the group get on her back and begin heading for their next destination as Ash speaks.

"That was a fun day" Ash says with the others nodding as Leaf speaks.

"Yeah, even though I didn't win my Pokémon, and I had a blast. Also, Nemona was really strong I'm surprised that I tied with her because I thought for sure that I was going to lose. You'll really have to watch out for her Ash" Leaf says with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"True and Cameron's strong as well I think I got lucky that Floragato and Luxio evolved otherwise I would've lost too" Ash says with the group nodding as Misty speaks.

"But isn't this also a good thing that they're strong because they'll also make you stronger as well" Misty says with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"You're right about that Misty today just gave me more motivation to train my Pokémon so that when I meet them again, we'll win right Pikachu?!" Ash says with Pikachu nodding making the group smile. After that the group look forward looking towards the horizon as the chapter comes to an end.

What're your thoughts on how I did the 2 competitions, thoughts on the items Ash, and Leaf got, which battle was your favorite, and what're your thoughts on Floragato and Luxio evolving? I decided to have Floragato and Luxio evolve here as I couldn't really think of where else they could've evolved and just felt that this was the perfect place for them to evolve. You guys are also probably wondering why I had Leaf and Nemona tie. I did that because for 1 the chapter was already pretty long, and I didn't want to make it longer so I felt it would be best to have them tie. And 2 I wanted to showcase just how skillful they both are though you could tell in the battle that Nemona's Meowscarada would've won but Leaf's Meowscarada didn't want to go down without taking Nemona's with it.

Next chapter will come out next week it'll focus on Ash training for his upcoming gym challenge and the possibility of Misty's Psyduck evolving. Also, the next chapter after will have Ash finally take on the Naval Island Gym.
