Epilogue: The Return Home and The Bond of Friendship

Fuli and the rest of Guard returned Bongo back home.

Fuli: "Well Bongo, you're finally home." She said as Bongo climbed off her back and ran to his mom, who had been waiting for him. Bongo's Mom climbed down her tree to give her son a big hug.

Bongo's Mom: "Hi Bongo, did you have a good time with The Lion Guard?" She asked. Bongo nodded eagerly. "And did you behave yourself today?" Bongo nodded again. "Oh, you're such a good boy, Bongo." She praised him.

Bongo's Mom: "Thank you for taking care of Bongo, Fuli." She turned to Fuli.

Fuli: "You're welcome, Bongo's Mom." She replied.

Bongo's Mom: "I hope he stayed out of trouble." She said, cradling him in his arms.

Bunga: "Actually, we had to save Bongo from—" He blurted out, but Fuli immediately covered his mouth with her tail. "Hmm? He mumbled.

Fuli: "Bunga, shhhh!" She whispered, pulling him aside. "Bunga, you can't tell Bongo's Mom I broke my promise." She said quietly.

Bunga: *muffled* "Why not?" He asked.

Kion: "Fuli, I think maybe we should tell Bongo's Mom that we had to save Bongo from Janja and his hyenas." He suggested.

Bunga: *muffled* "And falling into lava." He added through Fuli's tail.

Fuli: "But I promised his mom I would keep Bongo safe and out of danger." She said, her voice filled with worry.

Kion: "And you did." He reassured her.

Ono: "Bongo is now safe and sound." He added.

Beshte: "And it's all thanks to you." He said.

Fuli: "I'm just worried that Bongo's Mom won't take it too well." She said, her ears drooping.

Kion: "Well, let's find out together." He said.

Fuli: "Thanks, you guys. I needed that." Fuli said, smiling at her friends. She felt supported and more encouraged with her friends by her side.

Kion: "Anytime, Fuli." He said warmly.

Ono: "Of course, we're all here for you." He added.

Beshte: "Always." He agreed.

Fuli: *takes a deep breath* "Okay, I'll tell his mom everything." She decided.

Bongo's Mom: "That's okay. I heard you all talking." She said, surprising them.

Kion, Fuli, Ono and Beshte: "You did?" They exclaimed in unison.

Bunga: *muffled* "You did?" He echoed, his voice still muffled.

Fuli: "Oh, sorry Bunga." She apologized, removing her tail from his mouth.

Bunga: "Thanks, Fuli. By the way, your tail feels so soft," He said, grinning. Fuli shot him a glare.

"Hehe." He chuckled.

Fuli: "So you heard everything about us saving Bongo from the hyenas and falling into lava?" She asked, looking at Bongo's Mom.

Bongo's Mom: "Yes. Even though he had to face such terrible things, you kept Bongo safe, and that's all that matters. So, thank you." She said gratefully

Fuli: *sigh of relief* "You're welcome." She replied, feeling relieved.

Bongo's Mom placed Bongo on the ground, and he went over to hug each member of the Guard.

Kion: "Aw, thanks Bongo." He said, giving him a hug. Bongo then gave Ono a hug.

Ono: "Thanks, Bongo." He said, smiling as he received his hug. Bongo hugged Beshte next.

Beshte: "You're quite the hugger, Bongo," He said warmly. Bongo then gave Bunga a hug, and surprisingly, his smell didn't bother him.

Bunga: "Hey, you guys. Bongo's hugging me now." He announced excitedly.

Kion: "I guess your smell doesn't bother him anymore." He joked.

Bunga: "Hehe, I guess not." Bunga said, laughing. Finally, Bongo went over to hug Fuli, and in response, gave him affectionate licks and nuzzles.

Bongo's Mom: "Aww, that's so sweet of you, Fuli." She commented.

Bunga: "Ha! That's what I said." He quipped.

Fuli: "Hehe, Bunga!" She retorted playfully.

Bongo's Mom: "Oh no, no. Keep going, Fuli. I don't mind it at all." She said, encouraging the tender moment.

Fuli continued with the licks and nuzzles. Bongo squealed in delight, enjoying the affection from his best friend.

As the sun set over The Pride Lands, Bongo's Mom, along with Kion, Bunga, Ono, and Beshte all watched with warm smiles. They saw how Fuli and Bongo's friendship had not only been restored but had grown even stronger. Fuli realized that her bond with Bongo was unbreakable, and she vowed never to let jealousy come between them again. The experience had taught her the true meaning of friendship and the importance of trust and love. She knew that no matter what challenges came their way, she and Bongo would face them together, stronger than ever.
