"Guys?! What's going on?" Ash asked, in a panicked state as his eyes didn't stop glowing.
"Ash, we need you to breathe and relax." The Kimono Girl owning the Espeon said calmly walking up. "I had sensed this about you, and we needed to push you to see if I was correct."
"You did this on purpose!? What is it, why did you do this to him!" Casey demanded angrily.
"Nothing about this is dangerous to Ash. What he is experiencing is his aura flaring." The Umbreon Kimono Girl said.
"Aura, but that's just in fairy tales." Molly said.
"Like Entei and the Unown?" Casey asked.
"This is different, the records of people harnessing their auras are so scattered and minimal this isn't possible." Molly said.
"And yet here he is." The Espeon Kimono Girl said. "Ash, has anything strange happened recently?"
"I mean, I saw a spirit of Suicune when I first arrived in Johto, and it led me to safety. Then at the Ruins of Alph the Unown contacted me when I touched the runes." Ash said, thinking back to the early days in Johto.
"There was a red flash then too!" Casey exclaimed, remembering the events.
"What else." The Espeon Kimono girl said.
"Uhh, when we were in Azalea Town the spirit of Suicune led me to take the GS Ball and bring it to a shrine to release Celebi, but before I released them, I could still hear what they were saying, especially when I got closer to the shrine." Ash said. "Then the Greenfield incident, the Unown spoke with me again, and a third time when we returned to the ruins. They said my aura was scattered throughout time."
"So this has been going on for a while." Molly realized.
"What about since being here in Ecruteak? Has anything happened to you around here?" The Umbreon Kimono Girl asked.
"Uhm, Suicune appeared again outside of Ecruteak, pointing me towards the towers, and when I got close to the solidified body of Suicune, she along with Entei and Raikou were released." Ash said.
"You said Suicune pointed you to the towers, how do you know that much?" The Vaporeon Kimono Girl said. "Did they speak to you?"
"No, Suicune hasn't spoken to me, but I can tell what they're trying to say, is that aura related?" Ash asked.
"It might be, you said you visited the Burned Tower, what about the Tin Tower?" The Flareon Kimono Girl asked.
"No, it's not open to the public." Molly pointed out. "Because it's a sacred sight for Ho-oh."
"Ash, I need you to focus, can you hear anything calling out to you, you said Suicune directed you to both towers, why?" The Jolteon Kimono Girl asked.
Ash focused, taking a deep breath, trying to listen to anything.
'INTRUDERS! GET OFF MY TOWER YOU ARE NOT WELCOME!' A voice called out angrily.
"Someone's on the tower!" Ash said, his eyes shooting open as the red glow finally stopped.
"Consider the tower open to the public, we must go." The Espeon Kimono Girl said, leading the group.
"Everyone return!" Ash said, recalling all but Houndour and Pikachu.
Atop the Tin Tower
"How long are we going to have to keep looking here, we still haven't found anything." Jessie argued, tearing planks up from the tower to look for anything.
"The boss said we need to find the Rainbow Wing, so we keep searching until we find it." Cassidy reminded.
"To what end, Team Rocket is taken over, and rather than fixing it, we're running errands!" Jessie argued angrily.
"Relax, it could be worse, you could be forced to listen to the two of you bicker all day." Meowth said angrily.
"Team Rocket!" Ash exclaimed, running up the stairs, leading the group.
"Its the twerps!" Jessie said in shock.
"And there's a lot of them." Cassidy said, seeing the Kimono Girls as well.
"It doesn't matter if there's 8 or 80, we still have this! Arbok let's go!" Jessie said angrily. "Use Poison Sting!"
"Tentacruel let's go!" Cassidy called out. "Use Hydro Pump!"
"Houndoom use Flamethrower! Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"
Pikachu and Houndoom sent out their respective elemental attacks against the two poison types only for a fifth Pokemon to come out.
"Shuck." Shuckle said, having taken all four attacks with little to no problem.
"This useless thing again!" Jessie complained.
"Jessie wait, it took all four attacks and is fine, let Shuckle handle this while we find the wing." Cassidy reaffirmed.
"Right! Shuckle go use your full power!" Jessie called out, turning around as Shuckle wriggled forward.
"Houndoom use Crunch!"
Houndoom launched forward, biting on Shuckle as the bug type wriggled it's arms gently slapping Houndoom from one side and then the other.
"Ash look out!" Casey said as Arbok and Tentacruel launched at the preoccupied Houndoom. "Bayleef use Body Slam!" Bayleef charged forward, slamming into Tentacruel pinning it to the ground.
"Teddiursa use Strength!" Molly called out, the small bear, grabbing Arbok by it's tail and spinning it around.
"These twerps are impossible!" Cassidy said angrily, grabbing more Pokeballs. "Raticate, Drowzee come out!"
"Anyone have someone else strong enough to fight?" Ash asked, with Houndoom still struggling with Shuckle.
"Pi Pi!" Pikachu said pointing at Eevee's Pokeball.
"Alright, I guess it's our best option. Pikachu use Quick Attack, Eevee use Double Edge?" Ash said in confusion checking it's moves with his Pokedex.
Eevee rushed forward, slamming into Raticate with ease, before pouncing at Drowzee.
"Meowth do something!" Jessie said.
"Already on it!" Meowth exclaimed, pushing a button as the Meowth Balloon appeared, launching a net to ensnare all of the Pokemon. "A bundle of Pokemon and soon enough a wing too!"
'Duck.' A voice echoed in Ash's head as his eyes glowed.
"Get down!" Ash called out to his allies.
The trio and kimono girls all fell down as Ho-oh swooped over the tower, breaking the balloon and freeing the net in a single swoop.
"That's Ho-oh!" Meowth exclaimed.
"Uh oh, we weren't expecting them to be home." Jessie said as the large bird came back around, engulfing the top of the tower in flames.
"We, we're alright?" Ash asked, noticing they were while Team Rocket and their Pokemon were feeling the heat.
"It's Ho-oh's special move, Sacred Fire, and he know's who's on his side." One of the Kimono girls informed.
"DOOM!" Houndoom shouted, finally spitting out the Shuckle.
"Doing alright Houndoom?" Ash asked, the dark type nodding confidently.
"Alright, Pikachu, let's end this, send them flying with Thunderbolt!"
"PiKaChu!" Pikachu exclaimed as the fire dispersed, sending a bolt of electricity straight at Team Rocket and their Pokemon, blasting off into the horizon.
"CRAW!" Ho-oh called out circling back around over the tower, a rainbow forming overhead as something fluttered down right in front of Ash.
"What's this?" Ash wondered, picking it up.
"A gift from Ho-oh, one of his feathers, called the Rainbow Wing." One of the Kimono Girls said. "Ho-oh must trust you greatly to give you that."
"I'll treasure it always Ho-oh, thank you!" Ash exclaimed.
