Hiccup POV:

The wind whipped through my hair as Toothless and I soared above the clouds. The sun dipped low on the horizon, casting a warm golden hue across the sky. We'd been flying for hours, leaving behind the familiar shores of Berk and venturing into uncharted territory.

Toothless's wings beat rhythmically, carrying us higher and higher. I glanced down, my heart racing. The world below was a patchwork of forests, rivers, and distant mountains. It was both exhilarating and terrifying—freedom and uncertainty intertwined.

"Where are we going, bud?" I murmured to Toothless. His eyes met mine, and I could almost hear his thoughts. We'd left Berk behind, escaping the responsibilities, the expectations, my betrayal, the slaying of a dragon. But where were we headed? What awaited us beyond the horizon?

The answer came in a sudden gust of wind. A massive storm cloud loomed ahead, lightning flickering within its dark depths. Toothless growled, sensing the danger. I tightened my grip on his saddle, urging him to turn away.

But something drew me toward that tempest beast. Maybe it was the thrill of the unknown or the promise of adventure. Or perhaps it was the memory of Fishleg's worried expression when I'd left. He'd begged me not to go, but I couldn't stay—not after what had happened.

As we entered the storm, rain pelted us, and lightning crackled around us. Toothless's scales shimmered with electricity, and I held on, trusting him to guide us. The world blurred, and for a moment, I wondered if we'd made a terrible mistake.

Then, through the chaos, I glimpsed it—a distant island, bathed in an otherworldly glow. Its shores were rocky, and strange plants sprouted from the cliffs. It was like nothing I'd ever seen—a place untouched by Vikings or dragons.

Toothless angled toward the island, and I let out a breath I hadn't realized I was holding. Maybe this was our chance—to start anew, away from everything that had held us back. Maybe here, on this hidden island, we'd find answers or simply find peace.

We descended, wings beating against the storm. As we touched down on the rocky shore, I looked around. The air smelled different—wild, untamed. Toothless nuzzled my hand, and I smiled. We were far from home, but maybe that was exactly where we needed to be.

And so, with the rain still falling, I stepped onto the island—the first step of a journey that would change everything. Whether it led to redemption or ruin, I couldn't say. But one thing was certain: Toothless and I were no longer bound by the past. We were free, and the world was ours to explore.

"Dragons edge" I breathed

Toothless let out a growl of approval as we both collapsed onto the soft grass in exhaustion.

"Well bud, we've found a home" I sigh. Toothless wraps his tail around me protectively as we walk through the dense forest, we eventually stumble upon a abandoned dragon den, belonging to a Deadly Nadder by the looks of it.

Toothless growls quizzically the moment we enter the den almost as if he's never smelled a another dragon's scent before. I chuckle before making a makeshift bed out branches and leaves and lay down. Toothless settles in the place where the pervious dragon once had made its bed.

Once Toothless was asleep I get up and look around the den, several Nadder spines were lodged above the wall over the place where Toothless was sleeping, by the looks of them they probably belonged to a female Deadly Nadder. I sigh before returning to my makeshift bed and drifting off into a fitful sleep.

Heyy gang!

How's the story so far? who do you think the den belongs to?

Stay tuned!
