Chapter 3: Children in the Woods
It was times like these that Eren wanted to be anywhere else than right now. It's been weeks since he started training his friends on how to use firearms. They were getting better, and it was quite enjoyable seeing them so determined. Of course, I know their reasons, and I know that they are special children since normal children wouldn't risk their lives battling Grimm with anything more than the equivalent of a militia-grade weapon. But still, they persevere. It was quite refreshing. Ever since I came to this world, I've only seen children who don't understand what a hard life looks like. Like those two children in Atlas and those kids who tried to bully Nora. In fact, the other orphans back on the farm when I first met Cinder still count, since from what I've seen, they seem to be pretty content with their lives despite being orphans. Though I should have guessed since they were the type who liked to bully the weak, with Cinder being the target most of the time. I can only imagine what sort of trauma she had back then. Even though I had helped her, I can still tell she still has scars from back then since she was the only girl there.
It's things like this that make me miss Historia even though we had our differences we still care about each other and our country without her the many unfortunate people the poor and the orphans living on Paradis wouldn't have had better lives if weren't for her the people in the underground cities would be left to rot because of her she has helped create a better future for our island with the orphanages being one of the biggest things she has improved I can understand she did it because of her past trauma with her own family and feelings of abuse and abandonment still it was one of the many good things she did for Paradis.
If she was here I can see how she would have helped improve the orphanage and specifically Cinder it's a shame I still miss her I may not have any sort of relationship with her and I can't say i loved Historia though. She was my friend and comrade, someone I truly loved in a non-romantic way. It's a shame despite the fact before my death I tried to says goodbye to everyone I cared about in the Paths before dying and I never got a chance to say goodbye to her.
But that was the past and Eren didn't want to think about it.
Now back to the present now the reason Eren doesn't want to be here in the farm is because his mother has been making him study for the past few days to prepare for school from what I heard the new school in Kuroyuri is almost finished and if I'm right it should be open next week now I'm not really concerned about this since well I'm 19 years old man in a 10 year old body and from what the few books I've seen glimpse when Dina have her homeschool with the many children in Kuroyuri and it's not that different from the one back on Earth. I may not be as smart as Armin, i still did well during my days at the Cadet Corp in academics, and with the knowledge that i have gained back in Marley when I infiltrated them I could say that I'm pretty educated.
But no Mom wants me to study so I can be quote 'smart and be my successor' unquote. you know if this was me when I was still to young and truly a kid i might have protested but I have caused too much pain for her so I kept quiet and besides it not like the things I'm studying is that hard in fact most of the things I'm reading is quite similar Math is not so different here despite the technology gap between both Earth and Remnant granted I have to adapt a few things like in physics and chemistry since there the existence of Dust but most of the things i already knew
Yes I understand that I need to adapt to this world so I can better integrate myself to Remnant in fact the things that I'm studying is mostly the more advanced subjects which would be considered college level in this world but still my mom insisted that I should study but to be honest i find it unnecessary the basic elementary will be literal child play
I know i need to look up to more of those bizarre subjects like dust, Aura and maybe computing but I still have a few years before I need to worry about that so I can just have a little fun and focus on my training but it's seem I can't have that so I simply continue studying
Eren is not the only one whose been studying all of his friends and every kid in Kuroyuri is preparing for the opening of the school and so the town of kuroyuri is very quiet since every child is studying still though I can understand why they need to study but still him being stuck here in his home has gotten quite boring and Eren wishes he can take a break thankfully the there was a knock on his door
"Hey Eren can I come in there" came a voice from outside of his room
Looking up from his book and looking at the door Eren replied the familiar voice "Yes mom you can come in" as soon as he said that Carla came in with a box of laundry filled with Eren clothes
"Hey Eren how goes your study i hope it's not too hard right ?" Carla ask as she puts down the box and starts filling in the closet inside Eren room
"It not that hard really" Eren replies as he continues to read his book
"Really ?"
"Yes mom honestly the subject I'm studying at is mostly what you would consider college level and despite the fact that Earth and Remnants having a technology gap it pretty much the same I have to adapt to a few things but overall it been pretty easy"
Carla smiles at her son, happy to see him taking his studies seriously. "That's wonderful to hear, Eren. It seems all you gotten smarter since the last time we met ." She finishes putting away the laundry and comes over to sit on the chair beside him.
"Of course mom." Eren responds exasperated kinda annoyed at being treated like a dumb kid so he continues "mom please remember that I'm almost twenty years old I'm a lot smarter than I look and I'm pretty educated so can you please stop treating me like this I starting to get annoying"
She pats his arm affectionately. "Well it hard not treating you like this i mean you still look like when you were ten so seeing you as an adult is pretty hard sometimes"
"Well I can see why but still though can you give me a break I'm starting to get tired reading these" as he pointed at the pile of books and papers
"Ok then go take a break Cinder is waiting for you downstairs and she wants to play with you" Carla said after seeing the amount of books that is on the table she really should remember that her son is a grown man in a child body still though she quite proud at how smart her son has become
Eren sighs in relief at Carla's words. "Thanks, Mom. I think I could really use some fresh air." He closes the book and sets it aside he stood up and was about to head for the door but his mom has one thing left to say
"Oh and by the way Eren" Eren look back to his mom who was putting his laundry on his closet "Dina and I are going out to get some business done in Argus and we don't know when we're going to be so I want you to take and Cinder to take care of each other ok cinder already know we're going out so you two behave ok"
"Don't worry mom I take care of her"
Heading downstairs with his mom following him, he spots Cinder sitting by the fireplace . Her eyes light up when she sees him. "Hey Eren " she beams, seeing her best friend and adoptive brother coming down stairs
"Hey C" he greets his friend/adoptive sister with the nickname even though I've gotten use to the weird naming system that use color it's still kinda bizarre naming your children after color yes they are many types of color and different shades but it's not unique and lacks originality i understand the reason why due to remnant history with the Great War a war that was fought for the freedom of self expression and art in order to stop the Grimm from attacking humanity by destroying emotions which I still think a very foolish reason for war and to be honest it actually reminds me a lot of the great Titan war or even the Marley Mid-East War in which I fought in and in the aftermath of the great war people started naming their children in order to defy the ones who oppressed any form of self expression.
Anyway I'm getting sidetracked I look at her seeing what she's doing sitting beside the fireplace she playing with her doll Vasilisa and a few other toys she playing with it's so weird seeing her this happy if I didn't know better I wouldn't have expected that this little girl managed to kill 2 people back in Atlas then again who am I to judge since I did the same thing at the age of 9 when I rescued Mikasa honestly ever since I met her all I could see is myself if I was a girl then again she have that spirit in her eyes with the same desire as me desiring freedom. All in all I'm forever grateful that I met her because if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have made it this far within this broken world
Now with her looking at me as I walk and sit beside her I ask" what are you doing?
"Nothing much just playing with Vasilisa" she replied while she continued playing " how about you did you finish studying" she asked
"Yes and to be honest with you most of the things I learned is simply me adapting to a few changes but all in all it was pretty easy"
"I shouldn't be surprised you're very smart"
Please if I was smart I would've been better at handling with the Grimm and besides that mom said that I should played with you so what do you plan to do ?
"Well I was planning for us to go to Li Ren house to play with Nora and Ren but from what mom told me they are busy and is currently not on Kuroyuri"
"Really" Eren said surprise that Nora and Ren is not currently at home "then where are they ?" Ask Eren.
"They are currently in Mistral mom said that Mr ren is going to buy new weapons for the Defenses for Kuroyuri with the money they got from King Charlemagne" she replied while she continued playing
"I'm surprised that we still have that many money considering we already spent much on the new School, the Walls and Mercury Legs therapy" Eren stated surprised by sheer amount of money they still have to be honest he would have thought that with the amount of money they have spent they would have run out but it seems that isn't the case he really should understand the currency system here because the concept of Lien is still weird to me. Instead of Paper money they use Cards which is rather bizarre from what I understand it suppose to be more resilient and less expensive than coins for people to carry but isn't it rather wasteful in terms of storage and the materials necessary to made it
Though to be fair it's made of plastic which is kinda surprising for me since back on Earth the use of plastic were mainly used for minor purposes like fashion, toys, electronics and on some military Hardware by the rest of the world which is still rather limited in our usage of plastic
Then again Remnant is far more advanced compared to Earth so perhaps on a economic point of view it would have been better to use cards instead of paper money but still if I were to choose between Paper and Lien I choose the former
Anyway I'm getting distracted again so I listen to Cinder as she answers me " well King Charlemagne was the most wanted person in Mistral and due to the fact he was a member of the Council in the government so it kinda makes sense for them to give us more and a way for them to thank us"
"I guess it makes sense" Eren said thoughtfully he also decided to said something else to make sure if she agreed with him "i mean it could also be a ploy"
"A Ploy ?" Cinder stop playing as she looks at him while adorably tilting her head in confusion
"Yes C a ploy" Eren said so he decided to explain it more thoroughly " I mean if you think about it from their perspective the fact that some random civilian from the Outer settlements managed to find what the Kingdoms can't the most wanted Sex offender in all of Anima while they have their army of Police officers and their multitude of Huntsmen's who have been looking for him for decades and yet some Kids from the middle of nowhere managed to help get found him and get him arrested it speaks of incompetence and it clearly proves that they're inneffective in helping the people they supposed to protect" Eren stated that last part loudly as he looked at Cinder specifically her Neck
He still remembers what the Madame did to her he is absolutely enraged by the fact that such an advanced society still use such barbaric practices and he is disgusted by the fact that even the police and the so called protectors of the World and humanity the Huntsman doesn't even care and even when we take matters to our own hands the fact they would arrest a child because of the fact she killed them a Slave owner and someone who would not hesitate to abuse a child and the fact they would willingly ignore such a clear violation of human rights is absolutely monstrous and the fact they have the audacity to call themselves the pinnacle of civilization despite the fact they have committed many atrocities that would make them no better than the criminals scums they mock and hate
To him their no better than the old Empire of Eldia and the hypocrisy of the many nations of Earth after its fall to Raped, pillage, enslave and genocides entire populations just because of a sense of superiority and then calling themself heroes despite the fact they committed many atrocities like what both the old empire and Marley the former calling it their Divine Destiny to conquer the world and Marley making themselves the Heroes of the world despite themselves using the very same Monsters the Titans that once oppressed them and using it for their own gain.
At least both The Empire and Marley have a justifiable reason for their cruelty The empire was made from a time where might make right it was the weak died and strong lived and if they weren't strong enough they too could have become mere slaves to other more stronger nations after all Nations are born from conquest you take territory, you force the people in that territory out or you have them work for you, you get stronger, cause if you don't someone else will
And as for Marley they have been oppressed for 2000 years by Eldia before they were conquered they were once the most powerful nation on Earth they were a Republic they have the most powerful armies in the world and was conquered in the humiliating way possible they weren't defeated by other power that is equal no they were defeated by some random tribe that they considered barbarians and some primitive people that not worth their time and yet they managed to enslaved them not through conventional war and military might but through a power that is absolutely unnatural and that power was the Titans and they were enslaved by Eldia for over two millennia in the cruelest way possible.
Eren remember what he saw when he first saw the history of Eldia through the Path and the Eye of Ymir, entire citys was trampled by the simple march of thousands of Titan in Eldia conquest, entire people being devoured for simple protesting, Children being killed for Sports, mass murder for competition and many other atrocious things that the Empire did in those two millennia to be honest when he first discovered Marley he wanted nothing more for them to pay for ruining his life and his people but after seeing the things the Empire did through the Path he can't help but sympathize for them because the Empire was nothing more than a State that is filled with the worst Tyrants in the world that make the modern times feel tame in comparison
But it's a shame when they finally got their Freedom during the Great Titan War instead of making peace they chose to continue the cycle of Hatred, they chose to use the powers of the Titans for themselves and use it for their own selfish reasons, they chose to become the very same monster that have once enslaved them instead of becoming better than them all in all they chose to becomes Hypocrites.
In the End both Eldia and Marley are both Evil but the circumstances of those Evil are different and to be honest quite understandable and pretty reasonable but Atlas on the Other hand they're evil not because of Survival or Hatred of a former oppreser but because they're are greedy people even though they predecessors Mantle lost the Great War on Remnant they still benefit from it because if it wasn't for Mantle, Atlas wouldn't have existed and yet instead of Honoring their predecessors and respecting them for their sacrifices in the War they exploited them and abandoned them make a mockery of them despite the fact if it wasn't for them they wouldn't even exist in the End Atlas have no honor and in his eyes they are no better than animals like the Slavers that once kidnapped Mikasa
He noticed Cinder was staring at him and he realized that he's been silent the whole time so he continued
"Not to mention the fact that the Man they been trying to look for for the past decades is actually a Council member I mean it really shows at just how corrupt the Government truly is and the reason they gave us so much more than the original reward is to safe face and their reputation"
"I mean if someone from the government themselves were the one who committed those crimes what making sure the other are not in it too because of that I will lead to distrust between the people and the one in control and if their one thing that I know what politicians are afraid of is that the people that they control is rebelling against them" he finally finished as he looked at her as she went in thought
Cinder thought about everything what his adopted brother said and to be honest everything he said was correct if the kingdom were to see that they're incapable of protecting their own people they would lose faith and trust and might consider breaking of from them so in a way them giving us this much lien was there way of buying our silence
With that Cinder immediately continue "you know Eren your right and I completely agree with you but This is getting a little too political, we should be having fun and play not talking about stuff like this." she said to him because it's starting to bored her and she ask his mother to tell him to play with her not talk about what does the council want
Eren put his hand behind his back and look sheepish so he replies "Yeah sorry about that got carried away" he put his hand back together "So C do you have any plans on what we're going to do today ?"
"Well since both our mom are heading out to Argus I already have come up with many plans for just the Two of us" Cinder told him feeling kinda happy that she will get to spend some time with Eren alone
"Oh yeah?" Eren look at her in the eyes noticing the slight glimmer of joy in her Amber Eyes " and what would that be ?"

Eren and Cinder was running from 4 small Lancers in the field but these are not your regular Grimm these one are under Eren control and the reason they are chasing the two siblings are
"Last one to the finish line get to feed the livestocks!" Cinder excitedly yelled at Eren as she performed parkour around the farm while avoiding the Lancers stingers
"Not unless i beat you first" Eren replied as he
Dogged at harpoon from the Lancers as he jumped over a pile of boulders
The objective is pretty simple really it just a race between them but with the fact that Lancers were trying to hit them while their at it to make it more interesting and the race started from the outside of the field and into the house
*Whoosh*
"Whoa!"Cinder dodged one of the harpoon who almost hit her face
"Too slow" Eren appeared as he wall jumped past her using the boulder next to her for momentum
"Oh now it's on" she immediately runs faster after recovering as she dodged the stingers
In the end the race was a Tie as they both reached the house at the same time they're currently taking rest on the floor as they breaths heavily
"Whoa" Eren began "that was fun C that was a very creative idea for having fun
Cinder who was sitting replied back "Well I did get the idea during our last training where you have us crawl under barb wires as you shoot above us using machine guns" she said that in a exasperated tone
"Hey come on that was part of trainings was meant so you could still focus when you're under pressure" he said defensively as he put his arms up in a surrendering motion
Cinder rolled her eyes she then looked back at the field "You know Eren thank goodness all the workers are currently having a day off because we couldn't have done this if they still around"
"Thank goodness for that" Eren than stood up and went for Cinder to help her up after that he asked "Anyway i will admit that was fun so what next on the list C ?"

The Two of them are now in the studio room with Cinder having a guitar in her Hand and Eren sitting with a keyboard in front of HIm
"3 2 1 go!" Cinder count as they behave to play a song that Cinder made three days ago
The two of them immigrated play their instruments and as the intro of the song
"Come together now"
They continue the music and after a few seconds they begin the first Verse
"I'm cookie and you're cream
Sugar gasoline

The song continues and when they finish they decide to play a few more instruments they have in the studio and make some new songs while they at it

After 2 hours of playing in the studio they both decided to play a more quite game
"Checkmate" Eren said as he used his bishops and a queen to trap the KIng
"Damn it" Cinder cursed as she didn't expect the sudden lost as she was too busy trying to trap Eren Kings with her rooks
The two of them decided to play a little game of Chess Eren was surprised when he first learned it actually existed here on Remnant and wondered how would it be possible but he just shrugged and not think about it
So after seeing the rules are the same he taught Cinder on how to play since he played Chess with Commander Dot Pixis a few times when he was still back on Paradis he wins a few loses a few Eren not really that great with chess but he is considered average
So far both Eren and Cinder have a 4 to 3 victory points in a 10 match game and so far it pretty even Eren was surprised that Cinder managed to keep up with him after the first 2 losses but she starting to keep up
"Round 8 ?" Cinder asked
"Round 8" Eren nodded
Eren with the black pieces, considers his next move in concentration. After several minutes of silent calculation, he extends his finger and nudges a pawn forward two spaces.
Cinder, eyeing the position thoughtfully. She responds by advancing one of her knights out towards the center of the board.
The opening phases progress calmly as the structure of pawns and minor pieces emerge. Standard theory is explored and countered as both players feel each other out.
Soon the queenside castles are completed, freeing the rooks to impact proceedings on the flanks. Cinder advances a pawn threatening one of Eren's knights, but it is smoothly defended.
Attack and counterattack ensue, gain and pressure being traded back and forth across the wooden battlefield. Each move adds new layers of complexity, new tactical possibilities to consider.
A rook wields its power to vacate space on the queenside. In response an isolated pawn is targeted, triggering fresh deviations from book lines. The middlegame fight is joined.
As pieces tumble from the board, the strategic maneuvering intensifies. Space is seized and contested, king safety becoming a rising priority. With an accurate sequence Ivan forces open the h-file for a rook to menace.
But Cinder strikes back, sacrificing material for disruption. Her wrecking ball of an attack creates imbalances ripe to be exploited further down the road. The endgame transition looms nearer.
A bishop falls, its role in the position now diminished. Dark squares are weakened in its wake, inviting intrusion for a steely rook. The eviscerated kingside lies exposed to advancing invasion.
Eren cracks first under the pressure, conceding a pawn. But the grip on his position remains intact, all pieces still bearing purpose. Counterplay may yet return the initiative to his cause.
After several more exchanges that peel away distracting material, the bare-bones finale arrives. King versus king, one lone bishop and pawns the only combatants left standing. One mistake here could settle it all.
And so as the game went on with the game being made a Tie again.

As the day went by the Two children spent their time together with many different activities and since they were the only people currently on the Farm they many things that would make both their Mothers very mad but they continue on to starve of the boredom as they wait for them to come back
Currently the Eren and Cinder is currently sitting in front of the Fireplace as they play a boardgame call Landlord the overarching goal of the game is to cause the other players to go bankrupt and honestly to Eren view it's a very unique game unlike the other boardgames he knows back on Earth. (Basically Monopoly)
"You know C this is starting to get tiresome" Eren told her adopted Sister as he rolled the dice which landed him at a Jail tile "Oh come on" he silently cursed
Cinder laughed as Eren landed on the jail tile once again. "Getting tired of losing already, Eren?" she teased. Though the game was meant to bankrupt her opponents, Cinder didn't have the heart to claim all of Eren's assets just yet. They still had a long afternoon ahead of them.
"How about we do something else C?" Eren suggested. "Something that we haven't done before"
Cinder put her piece down as she listened to him "What do you have in mind" she questioned
"Follow me" Eren said as he got up with Cinder following the same and walked behind him they both went outside
After a few minutes of walking they finally reached their destination the Walls of Kuroyuri
"Um Eren what are we doing here ?" Cinder Ask wondering why they were near the Wall near the Farms
"Cinder we've been around the House and the rest of the Town for a while since we haven't really explored the forest i have been thinking we should see what inside you know have a little adventure"
"Wait what ?" Cinder replied surprised by this "Eren isn't that dangerous wouldn't there be Grimm outside" she said to him concerned
"Don't worry if there's Grimm we have our Titans so there's nothing to worry about" as he said that he was climbing the wall
"But wouldn't Mom be mad that we went outside without their permission and what if they come back?" she told him insisting him to stop and go home
"Don't worry we be back before they know it" Eren said in a relaxed tone as he finished climbing and reached the top he then immediately pulled his arms out to Cinder as in asking him to take it "Come on C it will be fun"
"I don't know Eren I still think this is a bad idea" still resisting because she doesn't want to have a repeat of what happened last time when they both went out
"Are you going to spend the rest of your life not knowing what you're going to do?" Eren ask
"What?" She asked confused by the sudden question but he didn't let her finish
"Are you going to keep Following instructions and never seeing anything but the House and the forest's entrance without ever learning what inside the forest?" Eren ask her with a little harsh tone
Cinder hesitated, taken aback by Eren's sudden question. thinking about it He was right they seen the forest many Times from above on Airships and also from afar when on the ground and yet they never really been inside- . And yet, venturing into unknown lands still felt risky.
"Alright," she said finally. "But please, let's be cautious. If we see any Grimm, we turn back right away."
Eren grinned, happy she was coming around." Don't worry if we do see Grimm you have me to protect you" He helped pull her up onto the wall. Cinder rolled her eyes at that so Eren replied " Besides we're Titans Shifters"
So Together they stared out at the dense forest stretching as far as the eye could see. An adventure awaited within. Slowly, carefully, they began making their way along the wall. Suddenly Cinder stopped short. "Look!" she whispered, pointing. From their higher vantage point, they spied movement deep in the woods - but it was no Grimm. A family of deer emerged from the foliage, peacefully foraging.
Cinder smiled, relaxing at the sight of innocent wildlife, not menace. So they both continued on venturing into the woods they they were nothing much really it just your average forest they did see a few Grimm though so they avoided them and when some of them do spotted them they quickly handled them thanks to Eren and Cinder skills in combat
They found many different wildlife there's a few Foxes, a few deer, few parrots and many other Now both of them are walking into an empty area of the forest where they found a Lake filled with many Animals specifically platypus
"Whoa" Cinder said Amazed by the spectacle sight as she was sitting near the lake
"Even when we were above how come we never saw this" Eren said near her
"Yeah" she agreed
Now both of them began to explore the surrounding lake and they were pretty amazed by this wonderful sight
Cinder seeing the sun setting immediately look at Eren "Hey Eren maybe we should get back it's getting lake"
Eren looks at her than at the sky he replied "no I don't think so we still have plenty of time"
"But what if Mom comes back" she asked concerned that their Parents might be home already'
"Don't worry it will take a while for them to come back for now let just enjoy the wonders of nature" Eren said to her she was about to talk back but she stopped and just agreed with him in enjoying this
Hour's pass and overall it was pretty fun for both of them they found a few nice places a few Waterfalls, beautiful rivers and even large lakes and many animals and they even found a platypus but as the hours went by they prepared to go home
"You know Eren that was kinda fun" Cinder told her brother as he pulled her up the wall
"See I told you there nothing to worry about" Eren replied as they finished climbing over the wall "and besides we finally see what inside the Forest"
"Yeah who would have thought they would be platypus living here near Kuroyuri and their an entire lake full of them!" Cinder said rather excitedly as they walked back to their House
"Yeah I'm surprised too" he replied still shocked by the Fact that those animals are living near Kuroyuri which is surprisingly considering their habitat
They continue walking back to their home when Cinder decides to tell Eren Something
"Hey Eren thanks for taking me with you"
"What?" He ask wandering why
Cinder smiled shyly at Eren. "Thanks for convincing me to come explore the forest. I had more fun than I thought I would."
Eren smiled warmly at Cinder. "I'm glad you had fun Exploring new places is always better with a when you have someone to explore with ."
They walked in comfortable silence for a while. As the farmhouse came into view
"Hey Eren when do you think mom's will come home"
Eren ponders for a moment as they came into view with the front doors of the house and he replies "I honestly don't know but i think they will be back in another hour or two"
"I hope so i really don't want them to be Angry again like what happened last time if they find out we snuck out of Walls" Cinder said as she followed him to the door
"Oh Please" Eren went for the door as he opened the door "I doubt they would be back so soon they probably still in Argu-" The children stop and froze as they see Carla and Dina sitting in the living room couch staring at them with Carla tapping her foot repeatedly and Dina looking at them with one of her eyebrows twitching
"Children" Dina began to speak in a rather cold voice "where have you two been this past hour?"
Cinder was rather nervous now as she see them but for Eren he can only say three words
"Oh not again!"

Hey everybody! Im back and I hope im not late to post a new Chapter
(Me looking at my Fanfic notifications saying 2 new chapters of Attack on Titan A New Path has been released)

Yeah sorry for the long wait as in 93 days since I last posted a Chapter and im sorry for keeping you waiting I've been very busy with life as of late I got my Wisdom Teeth removed and multiple other health issues and i also have to deal with many Exams since im finishing High School and now in the process of entering colleges so theres that and to be honest i haven't touched FanFic for a while now
As for the Chapters it self i was inspired by that one Scene where Cinder and Nora talk about how Cinder and Eren kiss with the last part of them understanding each other with how Cinder and Eren once snuck out of Kuroyuri to explore the woods it's in Chapter 18 On the Road Again
I was going to upload it a few days ago but then I have to read Chapter 38 where where there new information on what happened in the woods so I had to rewrite the Ending
All in all I'm sorry for the long wait I had to deal with Life first so there's that and just so you know I have no intentions of abandoning this Story in fact I have many plans for this Story and a couple of new Stories too and I have been planning all of them for years but it will take time you can expect the updates of Chapter will take between months
And again rest assured I'm not abandoning this Story in any form
