Chapter 65: Battle On Asgard.

Loki narrowed his eyes as he watched the Dokkalfar aircraft land a few feet away. The door opened, and Malekith walked out; the Kurse Dokkalfar named Algrim was walking next to him, with an army of Dokkalfar behind them; Malekith headed right for Harry. It didn't take long for them to come up with a plan, or raither Loki to come up with a plan, because really, what else were they going to do but follow Loki's plan of half of the warriors stand on one side of the garden, while the other half stands on the other side, both sides cloaked in magic being concealed while Harry stood in the middle visible to lure Malekith into their trap. Once the Aether was out of him, Loki would capture it in the container Frigga gave him. After that, Loki will drop his magic to reveal everyone, and all the fighters will run at Malekith and his army on both sides, taking them by surprise. It sounded so simple, so easy; Loki couldn't help but feel like something was going to go wrong, it always does for him; his plans always go wrong; yeah, their plan to rescue Regulus from the Death Eaters worked out well in the end, but that hadn't been all Loki's plan; yeah, he was the one to come up with him pretending to be Harry, but it was Sirius who mostly came up with the actual plan, with help from Andromeda, but Harry wasn't there, he was at Grimmauld Place, safe, being watched by Natasha Romanoff, not in the center of it all, with an army of dark elves heading right for him.

"You still have what belongs to me, child," Malekith said, stopping just three feet from Harry, who narrowed his eyes at Malekith, a lot like Loki was now; he was standing in a fighting pose Loki had shown him to stand in, holding the shield in one hand, and the dagger in the other. They were standing in the back garden of the palace. They had wanted to lure Malekith here and away from the village so innocent women, children, and men, anyone who could not or did not want to fight, wouldn't get injured or worse during the battle. Heimdall had decided to stay at his post to ensure no one else attacked Asgard.

"I don't have anything that belongs to you," Harry replied. He spoke in Midgardian English, and Malekith was likely speaking in his language. However, as long as they were in Asgard, the realm's magic allowed them to understand each other perfectly.

"I never did like to hurt children," Malekith said, "But, in this case, I will if you do not allow me to take what is mine, and I will feel no guilt over it."

"You can try; it won't do you any good," Harry replied, and Malekith drew his sword and held it up for Harry to see.

If it weren't for Sirius lying his hand on Loki's back reminding him to stay calm, Loki would have attacked Malekith right then, but he couldn't; he had to stay where he was and wait until the Aether was out of Harry. Loki glanced across from him at Frigga, who was dressed for battle; standing on either side of her was Sif and the child goddess Kelda, an orphan who now lived in the palace as Frigga's student. Or that's who Thor said she was when Loki had asked, and on either side of those three were guards; on Loki's right side was Sirius, Thor stood next to him on his left, Regulus was standing on Sirius' other side, then the Warriors Three where on Thor's other side, then more guards; the one person who wasn't here was Odin, who had gotten in another argument with Loki and Sirius while planning, and when Thor spoke up on Loki and Sirius' behalf, Odin stormed out of the room and hasn't been seen since.

"Where is everyone?" Malekith asked, "I was not expecting to find you here, alone, not when all of Asgard should know I would be back."

"They are all in there." Harry nodded his head towards the palace. "Planning for your attack. I guess you arrived earlier than they thought."

"Let me guess, you have been out here waiting for me, and the adults do not know you're out here?" Malekith said.

"Pretty much." Harry agreed; Loki was both proud and a little wary of how good Harry was getting at lying. A skill he, of course, inherited from Loki.

"You see my sword, child?" Malekith asked; Harry didn't answer, so he continued. "Well, it's a very sharp sword. All I have to do is run it through you, then take my Aether from your corpse." Sirius had to grab Loki's arm to stop him from attacking Malekith.

"I don't think the Aether belongs to anyone; it has existed since before any living thing," Harry replied.

"You know your history, child, good, then you should know that I will have to kill you if you do not allow me to take what is mine," Malekith said. Harry glanced at his sword, then back at Malekith.

"A dark wizard has tried to kill me since I was an infant. I haven't died yet, and I don't plan to today," Harry said, and Loki wondered if he had been allowing his son to hang out with Thor too much because that sounded like something his fool brother would say. Though Loki did have to give it to Harry, the child showed no fear as he was comforted by Malekith. Loki didn't know if it was because Harry knew backup surrounded him or because his life had been in so much danger over the years he just got used to it; the latter thought hurt Loki's heart.

"Oh, do not try to play hero, son; just allow me to have what is mine," Malekith said, taking a closer step toward Harry.

"I am not your son," Harry replied, and Malekith laughed.

"I see a sword does not scare you; true, you could survive a normal stab wound, depending on certain factors, but I know something you can not survive." Malekith sheathed his sword, then pulled a black knife from his side. "See this: the blade has been dipped into a poison, a very deadly poison; one stab, and you'll die a slow, painful death."

Loki heard enough and gave Sirius a nod. He whispered a spell, and a flock of canaries appeared. Sirius sent them toward Harry; he saw them and immediately lowered his dagger and shield, while Malekith looked confused by the sudden appearance of birds, but it was the signal they told Harry to watch for.

"Fine, if you can get it out of me, go ahead." Harry said, "I don't want it anyway."

"Wise choice, Child," Malekith said; he put his knife away, then pointed his palm toward Harry, and as he raised his arm, Harry was lifted in the air; after a second, a red glow surrounded him, and the dagger and shield slipped from his hands, as Harry's arms hung loosely at his sides. Loki couldn't tell whether or not Harry was still conscious, and he hated seeing Harry like that.

When Loki first returned to the Wizarding World after his failed attempt to take over Midgard, his main goal had been to become Minister of Magic and have a place to hide. And though Loki did care about Harry and Sirius, his main reason for reconciliation with them was that Loki thought he needed a powerful family if he was going to rule the Wizarding World. Then Harry nearly fell to his death because of a dementor attack, and Loki had never been so scared of losing anyone in his life. He realized then just how much he loved his son, and when Sirius forgave Loki, and admitted he still loved him. Loki's main goal turned into having a family where he belonged, and becoming Minister was now necessary to protect the Wizarding World from falling under the complete control of Voldemort. Loki had been worried about losing Harry ever since Voldemort's return, and now, his worry had grown, watching Harry's whole body glow red as Malekith tried to lure the Aether out of him.

If the Aether was feeding on Harry's life force, it was also feeding on his magic. Loki was going to have to do a lot of research once this was over because he had no idea what kind of side effects that would have on Harry or his magic, if any, and that also frightened Loki; he didn't like not knowing things, as a brilliant god, not knowing something was one of Loki's biggest pet peeves.

"Get ready, Reigny; it should be leaving Harry soon," Sirius whispered, his lips almost touching Loki's ear; then, as Loki lifted the container, Sirius squeezed his hand. "Stop worrying so much; you're about to go into battle; you must keep your head clear."

"Because that's so easy, with our son once again in danger," Loki whispered back as he took the lid of the container.

"Just remember, nothing will happen to you, Regulus, Harry, or me." Sirius replied, "Neither of us will allow it; we'll still be standing when this battle ends."

"I know." Loki agreed and held the container up; it was covered in magic and runes, just random spells to make the Aether sense the magic, so it'd be willing to enter it, where Loki would quickly put the lid on and trap it inside. Or at least that was the plan, but Loki's plans hardly worked out how they were supposed to. As Loki watched, he realized this one wasn't going to either because though the Aether had come to the surface of Harry's skin, it was not leaving Harry, no matter what Malekith did.

"He doesn't know a way to get that damn thing out of Harry," Sirius mumbled, sounding angry.

"I do not think that's the problem," Loki said, watching as Malekith lowered his arm, and Harry stopped glowing and dropped to the ground, where he lay unmoving. While Malekith walked close to him.

"It's refusing to leave him," Sirius guessed; he now sounded worried, which didn't help Loki's nerves as he got ready to drop his magic and attack Malekith.

"I'll just have to take it from your corpse," Malekith said, unsheathing his sword; before Loki could send a blast of magic at him, a gold light shot out, striking Malekith and knocked him away from Harry, and then the same thing happened to Algrim. When Loki looked in the direction the gold light had come from, he saw Odin standing there with Gungnir pointing where Malekith had stood; shaking himself from his shook, Loki dropped his magic cloak. The Asgardian warriors rushed in, with swords raised, crying out battle cries as they started fighting the Dokkalfar. Sirius ignored everything and went right to Harry's side, checking on him.

Loki went to walk to them but paused when he heard a loud noise overhead. Loki looked up and saw seven aircraft flying in and started shooting down at them. Thor made an angry growl and held up Mjolnir. Clouds gathered, and thunder rumbled; then he pointed the hammer at a craft, and lightning struck it, causing it to spin out of control; it hit another craft and knocked it into a giant statue of Bor, knocking his head off, which fell onto a third craft, causing it to crash to the ground.

"Well done, Thor, you just decapitated your grandfather," Loki said as he patted Thor's shoulder.

"Shut up." Thor hissed, sounding embarrassed, then took to the air to bring down the rest of the crafts. Loki shook his head, wondering why he was still standing there; he walked towards Sirius, who was now battling three Dokkalfar. Loki watched as he blasted one away using magic, then ducked a blow from another, knocked his feet out from under him, dropped down, and drove Loki's dagger through his chest; that's when another grabbed hold of Sirius, pulling him up, and getting him in what Midgardians would call a headlock.

"I think not," Loki replied, stepping behind the elf; he made a dagger appear in his hand and sliced the creature's neck. He immediately let go of Sirius as he fell over, gasping for air and blood dripping from his wound.

"About time you got here," Sirius said, rubbing his neck. Loki's helmet was already gone from his head, and he had dropped the shield. Both men ignored the dying elf at their feet as the ground shook from the crafts above shooting down at them; then, it suddenly stopped as a golden dome formed over the battle. Loki looked at Odin, who was pointing Gungnir toward the sky; he created the dome to protect their side while Thor flew around, destroying the crafts. Loki turned back to Sirius.

"Shall we?" Loki asked, nodding toward the chaos going on around them. Sirius grinned, and the two turned to the battle and started taking out Dokkalfar together, one by one. A Dokkalfar fell by either Loki's hand or Sirius'; both used magic, weapons, or even just their hands; at one point, Loki froze an elf, and Sirius summoned a sword that was lying on the ground to him and stabbed the Dokkalfar, it exploded as if made of glass, then thinking no more about it, they turned from him. They continued to fight, and at one point, they ended up getting separated from each other as Loki elbowed an elf, sending it crumbling to the ground; he then grabbed the arm of another one and turned him around, his back was to Loki's chest, and he sliced his throat and let his body fall to the ground.

"No,"

Loki heard someone shout and looked over to where Harry was to see him conscious, he and Kelda were trying to fight off Malekith, who was trying to pull Harry to his feet, and as Kelda was shoved to the ground, Loki tackled Malekith from the side, knocking him away from Harry, his helmet flew off, and Malekith dropped his sword, but was able to roll them to where he was on top of Loki, and drew his poisonous knife, but Loki threw up his hands and blasted Malekith off him with magic, then jumped to his feet, the same time Malekith did, he made daggers form in his hands, and the two ran at each other, Malekith raised his knife, Loki was able to block it with his sword, and ducked around Malekith, slicing him in the side as he did so, Malekith turned around and knocked the blades out of Loki's hands, then came at him with his knife, Loki ducked and rolled out of the way, as another dagger appeared in his hand, Malekith came at him, Loki brought it up to block the blow, then did a turn, knocking Malekith's knife out of his hand, but as Loki spun around to give Malekith another blow, Algrim came out of nowhere, hitting Loki, and he flew back and landed hard on the ground.

"Leave him alone." Harry cried, then thrust out his hand, and a blast of red energy shot out of it, struck Algrim, and sent him flying a few feet away; as Loki climbed to his feet, he looked around for Malekith, but both he and his poisonous knife was gone.

"Fuck," Loki mumbled, using a swear word he no doubt learned from Sirius as he looked around for Malekith; he spotted him on the other side of the garden, now fighting about five guards; Loki turned to Harry, who was still on the ground, Kelda was kneeling next to him, looking Harry over.

"The Aether wouldn't come out," Harry said; he looked tired.

"We'll get it out ourselves," Loki promised, "But for now, you have done your part; you should go to the palace, where it is safe."

"But."

"You did your job; you need not fight." Loki turned Kelda. "Will you show Harry the way to the healing rooms? Tell Eir I said he is to rest there until the battle is over, then we'll find a way to get the Aether out of him."

"He'll be alright, will he not?" she asked, looking concerned, which surprised Loki a little. Harry had only been on Asgard for a few hours, and Frigga already adored him. Now he's become friends with an Asgardian goddess, who Loki knew was not only being taught to control her abilities by Frigga but was also being trained to fight by Sif.

"He just needs rest," Loki said, glancing around the garden in search of Sirius; it didn't take Loki long to spot him. He was about eight feet away, taking out Dokkalfar. Loki watched as Sirius used telekinesis to send one flying across the garden, where he slammed into a giant tree and fell to the ground. Loki decided to check to ensure Regulus was fine and spotted him standing between Sif and Fandral, the three of them working together like a team, Sif and Fandral using their fighting skills, and Regulus cursing any elf that got close to them. The Dokkalfar must not be immune to Midgardian magic like Asgardians and Jotunn were because as Loki watched, Regulus did a swishing movement with his wand and transfigured the three elves they were fighting into bullfrogs, which caused Loki to grin, thinking about the time he turned Thor into a frog.

"You know, I think maybe I judged Loki's use of magic unfairly," Fandral said, looking down at the bullfrogs, "If only he used it to help in our battles and not for mischief ."

Loki rolled his eyes at Fandral's words because he used his magic in battles; there were plenty of times when Loki's magic enabled them to win or escape when they were outnumbered. A sudden explosive noise brought Loki out of his thoughts as the ground shook and people shouted. Loki looked up and noticed that the gold protective dome was gone, and Thor had missed one last craft. Loki looked around and found Odin, standing not far from Sirius, fighting, so he got distracted, which is why the dome was gone.

"Watch out!" Regulus yelled. Loki looked his way in time to see Regulus grab Sif around the waist, pull her away from the Dokkalfar she was fighting, they fell to the ground and Regulus quickly covered her while a shot fired from the craft hit the ground where she had been standing. Loki figured Regulus had cast a shield charm over them so they didn't get hit with anything.

Loki didn't have time to think about what he had just seen for long because the craft was still firing down on them, and one was heading toward him, Harry and Kelda. Loki quickly pushed the two children down and covered them while throwing out a protective charm, hoping to protect all three of them from the blast, but it never came. Loki looked up to see it paused in mid-air, hovering over them; he raised a little and looked around, then saw Sirius using his telekinesis from where he had been fighting, stopping it from hitting Loki and the two children. As Loki watched Sirius wave his hand, the shot flew back up toward the craft, hitting it and causing it to explode, and the golden dome once again formed over the crowd, blocking them from being hit with anything. Odin had paused in fighting long enough to create it. Sirius looked towards him, and Odin looked at Sirius, surprised at the power he was displaying; they stared at each other a moment before Sirius turned and walked away, and Loki sat up, allowing Kelda and Harry to do the same.

"Please escort Harry to the healing rooms and stay with him?" Loki asked, getting to his feet; Kelda did the same as Loki reached down and helped Harry stand.

"Of course, your highness." Kelda gave a slight bow, a show of respect for a royal prince of Asgard, causing Loki to smile as he turned and rejoined the battle; behind Loki, Regulus and Sif still lay on the ground.

"You saved my life," Sif said, surprised as Regulus moved away from her and stood. "Thank you."

"No problem." Regulus shrugged; he reached a hand down, offering to help Sif stand. She accepted, and Regulus pulled her to her feet. She was startled a little when Sif reached out and touched his scar.

"How did you get that?" She wondered, then seemed to realize what she was doing because her face turned a little pink, and she quickly pulled her hand from his face.

"A dark curse," Regulus replied, then turned from Sif and rejoined the battle.

Sirius found himself face-to-face with Malekith as the dark elf charged at him with his sword. Sirius ducked out of the way, and when Malekith came after him again, Sirius grabbed a sword off the ground and blocked Malekith's blow; he then kicked Malekith away and jumped to his feet, holding the Asgardian sword tightly in his hand; he raised the sword, same time Malekith raised his, and the swords hit each other with a cling, and Sirius forced the blade of Malekith's sword to the ground; Malekith was able to give a push, causing Sirius to stumble back. Then came Sirius, who ducked and went around Malekith, who spun around and blocked Sirius' blow.

On and on it went like that, both trying to get the upper hand, both able to either block, dodge, or duck the other's blow; at one time, Sirius sent magic at Malekith, who was able to dodge that too, then another time Malekith got Sirius down on the ground, the sword flying from his hand. When he brought his sword down, trying to stab Sirius, he rolled out of the way, then jumped back to his feet; using a summoning charm, Sirius summoned Malekith's sword from his hands into his. As he was about to use it to remove Malekith's head, Algrim came out of nowhere and knocked Sirius to the ground; Malekith's sword flew from his hand.

Algrim drew his fist back and brought it down towards Sirius, who rolled out of the way. When he went to punch Sirius again, about a dozen more of him appeared lying on the ground next to him, confusing Algrim. Sirius looked up expecting to see Loki but was shocked to see Frigga standing next to him, a sword in one hand, green magic flowing from the other.

Algrim turned towards her, and before Sirius could stop him, he had reached out and grabbed for Frigga's neck, only for her to disappear in a shimmer of green and reappear standing behind Algrim; he turned around and grabbed Frigga again, but she disappeared in a shimmer of green magic once more. When Sirius stood up, so did his doubles, then about a dozen of Frigga's doubles appeared next to his.

"This looks familiar, " Sirius commented, summoning a sword to his hand; Frigga looked amused as she and her doubles spoke.

"You are standing next to the woman who raised the God of Mischief," Frigga gave Sirius a Loki-like smirk. "Where do you think Loki learned it from?"

"Oh, I like you," Sirius said, grinning; then they both ran at Algrim, and so did their doubles to confuse Algrim. Sirius and Frigga could get a few blows in on the Kruse elf, but he could not strike them because he kept trying to fight one of their clones.

A sword appeared in Frigga's hand, and she went for Algrim's neck; he ducked it, only for Sirius to stab his side with his sword. Algrim swung back and knocked Sirius down. Frigga got him in the arm to get his attention, and Algrim turned to her, grabbed Frigga by the throat, and lifted her in the air; the doubles of her and Sirius disappeared, and the real Sirius jumped to his feet and threw magic at Algrim, he dropped Frigga and turned to Sirius, and charged at him.

Loki suddenly appeared in front of Sirius, blocking him from Algrim; as daggers appeared in his hands, Loki ran towards him. He sliced at Algrim's face, but he moved and tried to hit Loki, who ducked and swept his feet out from under him and then got down to stab him. But Algrim punched Loki away from him and quickly got back to his feet to be met with Frigga; holding her sword up, she got him across the leg, then arm, and when he tried to grab Frigga, she disappeared, reappearing out of his reach.

Loki climbed to his feet, and he and Sirius double-teamed Algrim. Then Frigga joined in helping, and it went on like that for a few minutes, all three taking their turn inflicting damage on Algrim, and they were sure they were wearing him down. Loki ducked a blow, went around Algrim's side, came back up, and drove his dagger through Algrim's back. Algrim knocked Sirius away from him, then turned around and knocked Loki down. Frigga tried to confuse him with doubles again; he roared in anger, hitting all of them; while he was distracted, Loki was able to jump up and drive a dagger into his chest, which caused Algrim to backhand him so hard. Loki flew back a foot and landed on the ground hard with a groan.

"Reigny," Sirius hurried over to Loki to make sure he was okay while Frigga went at Algrim with her sword. He was able to grab her hand and stop the blow, and he twisted Frigga's arm until she dropped the sword; he shoved Frigga down and then tried to strike her, but Frigga dodged his fist and made a dagger appeared and stuck it in Algrim's leg, he struck Frigga, knocking her down, and with an angry roar, Loki jumped up and ran to help his mother, Sirius picked up a sword and stood, but Malekith stepped in front of him, holding his sword and stopping Sirius from reaching Loki.

"We have unfinished business," Malekith said. "This time, you will lose."

"Bitch, just shut up and fight me if you're going to," Sirius grumbled; Malekith snared and came at Sirius with his sword, Sirius dodged, then tried to get Malekith with his blade, but the elf stopped it with his sword, then swrung his at Sirius who blocked his blow. Sirius stepped back; they circled each other, holding out their swords. Sirius acted as if he was going for Malekith's stomach when he went to stop the blade. Sirius changed course and got Malekith across the face with his sword; the cut immediately started bleeding. But all it did was anger Malekith more, and he charged at Sirius, who jumped to the side, avoiding being cut in two.

Malekith spun around and went for Sirius' neck; he stepped back and raised his sword to block Malekith's, only for the sword to be knocked from his hand, but before Malekith could strike Sirius, Frigga blocked his sword with hers. Malekith turned to her, and the two began to battle; Sirius was amazed at the skill Loki's mother had, and since Loki was still fighting Algrim, with Thor helping (Sirius had no idea when he joined them). He picked up the sword and went to help Frigga.

Sirius stood next to Frigga, and the two of them took turns fighting Malekith; unlike Algrim, who didn't bleed no matter how many times he got cut or stabbed, Malekith did bleed; whenever Sirius or Frigga cut his arm or stuck him with their blade, but the injuries only seem to make Malekith angry, as he seemed to heal quickly, which would explain how he was on his feet so soon after Loki had filled him with daggers earlier that day.

Frigga sliced across Malekith's arm, and he backhanded her, causing her to fall to the ground. Malekith gripped the handle of his sword and raised it; Sirius grabbed Malekith's arms, stopping him. Malekith let go of his sword, pulled his black knife off his side, then spun around and drove it through Sirius' abdomen; Sirius stared at it in shock, and wearing a sadistic smile on his face, Malekith turned and just walked away.

"Sirius," Frigga caught Sirius as he fell to his knees and lowered him to the ground; she stared at the knife sticking out of him, then looked towards where Loki and Thor fighting Algrim.

Loki was on the ground, pain shooting up his back; after being slammed on the ground by Algrim, he heard Thor groan and looked up and saw his brother on the ground, getting beat up by Algrim. Loki quickly got to his feet and made the sword Thor had once given him, the one the wizardry world knew as the sword of Gryffindor, appear in his hand.

"Brother!" Loki yelled and slid the sword to Thor, who grabbed it by the handle, and while Algrim drew his fist back, Thor raised the sword and sliced off Algrim's head; the body fell on to of Thor, while the head hit the ground and went rolling towards Loki's feet, he made a face and kicked it away, while Thor tossed the body off him, and stood.

"You were right, brother," Thor said, walking up to Loki, "This is a good sword…I did not know you still had it, I have not seen it in centuries." Loki didn't say anything as he reached out, took his sword from Thor, and made it disappear.

"Loki!" Frigga called out, and Loki turned at the sound of his mother's voice, his eyes widened at the sight of Sirius lying on the ground, and he hurried over to them, he dropped down next to Sirius and pulled him into his lap. Thor knelt next to him.

"Do not worry, darling, I'll heal you…this might hurt," Loki said, and Sirius gasped as Loki pulled out the knife, tossed it aside, then ripped open the bottom of the leather top Sirius wore and held his hand over the wound, green magic flowing from his palm.

"Guess I should have worn the metal piece." Sirius moaned.

"Hush, don't worry about that now," Loki said; after a moment, blood was still coming from Sirius' wound, so Loki stopped and ripped the leather top almost off Sirius and frowned as he examined the wound; he could see black starting to form around it, and what looked like black veins began to form like it was growing from the wound. Loki held his hand over it and tried healing him again, but nothing happened. When he looked at Sirius' face, he saw he was growing pale, and he looked to be in a lot of pain.

"Loki?" Frigga asked, and he looked up at her.

"I do not understand; why is he not healing?" Loki asked as Frigga tore part of her dress off and held it to Sirius' wound, trying to stop the bleeding, "He should be healing."

"Maybe it's just taken a while. Here, let me try," Frigga said, moving the piece of dress and feeling Sirius' forehead. She held her other hand over Sirius' wound, but her magic wouldn't heal him either.

"Who did this to him?" Thor demanded, sounding angry.

"Malekith got him with his knife," Frigga answered, and Thor gasped.

"What?" Loki demanded.

"Brother, remember what Malekith said about his blade?" Thor asked. Frigga gasped and covered her mouth, but Loki didn't understand what Thor meant. But then he looked down at Sirius and saw the black-looking veins had grown further across his stomach, and Malekith's words ran in his ears.

"No," Loki whispered, holding Sirius to him; his worry quickly turned to anger as he glanced around at the ones still fighting, looking for Malekith; when he heard a craft overhead, Loki looked up to see the one Malekith had arrived in leaving Asgard, a look of rage crossed his face, causing Thor to stand up, and pull Frigga away; Loki let out an angry scream as he thrust out his hand; it felt like a ripple went through the air as magic flew from Loki's palm lighting the garden up with green light, and the Dokkalfar were all blown off their feet, into the air, then slammed back down on the ground dead. Loki turned his attention back to Sirius, holding him close, as he kept a hand over his wound, hoping it would heal him.

"Reigny," Sirius moaned.

"Shh, darling, save your strength," Loki told him.

"Sirius," Regulus was now there, dropped down next to his older brother; his eyes widened at Sirius' wound, and his hand shook as he pulled out his wand and started waving it around Sirius, casting whatever healing charm he could think of. Loki allowed him to do it; it couldn't hurt. If anything, it might help.

Sirius groaned. "It feels like I have acid running through my veins." Loki just stared at Sirius, not knowing what to say to him.

"Brother, I hate to…well. Malekith got away…we-" Thor tried.

"Do not worry about Malekith; I'll find and kill him once Sirius is healed," Loki vowed; at that moment, Odin walked up and gripped Gungnir in his hand; he hesitated only for a moment before speaking

"Malekith got away; he'll regroup and return for the Aether." Odin said, "We must tend to our injured and prepare for another fight."

Loki ignored Odin as he continued to try to heal Sirius. He wished he had just let Sirius eat Idunn's apple when Loki had shown it to him. Sirius had wanted to, but with Thor's warning not to force Sirius, it had to be what he wanted; Loki had told him to think it over first, so he knew that was what he truly wanted.

"Where is Harry?" Frigga asked, looking around.

"I sent him to the healing rooms," Loki replied, glad Harry didn't witness his father gravely injured, but then Kelda appeared limping towards them as she pushed her way through the crowd, and dread filled Loki at the sight of her looking so beat up.

"Malekith took Harry," Kelda cried, looking close to tears; she held Harry's glasses in her hand.

"Damn it!" Loki cursed, "Did no one notice Malekith dragging my son towards his craft? Did no one try to stop him?"

"I'm so sorry, Prince Loki. I tried to stop him, but I could not." Kelda said.

"It's not your fault, child," Frigga said, putting her arm around Kelda. "I'm sure you did your best."

"Harry dropped these," Kelda said, handing Frigga the glasses. "He said he couldn't see without them."

"We'll keep them safe for him," Frigga said, putting Harry's glasses in her pocket.

"But why did he take Harry?" Regulus demanded.

"The Aether refused to leave him, so he took the child to do his bidding for him," Odin answered.

"My son would never." Loki snared.

"He may not have a choice," Odin said, then looked around at them. "Malekith is likely heading to Midgard; it's where the convergence is the strongest due to Midgard being in the center of Yggdrasil; it's where he can use the Aether to put the nine realms into total darkness."

"We must stop him." Thor said, "And get Harry back."

"Let's Go," Sirius said, trying to get out of Loki's hold, but he wouldn't let him up. "Reigny, we have to save Harry."

"I have to save Harry," Loki corrected, "Love, you can not even stand; you are too injured; you must still be here and be healed."

"Reggie." Sirius said, "Go…with him, help save Harry, please." Regulus reached out and gripped Sirius' hand, letting him know he could count on him, and Frigga laid her hand on Loki's shoulder.

"I'll have Sirius taken to the healing rooms, where he'll be comfortable while the healers find a cure," Frigga said. "I'll look after him, I promise; you go save Harry and make that bastard pay for what he's done."

Loki kissed Sirius' forehead, then allowed Sirius to be taken from his hold by Fandral and Hugon, who Frigga called over to help her get him to the healing rooms. Loki felt nothing but rage as he watched Sirius having to be practically carried to the palace; he'd do what his mother said to do; he would make that bastard pay for hurting Sirius, and he would make him regret taking his son.

AN: Like I said above, I have a reason for what happened to Sirius, and believe me I do not enjoy hurting my one of my favorite characters ever. Asgardians have Allspeak to understand people from other places, and for them to understand them, we know Asgard has magic itself, because that's where Hela got her power from in Ragnarok, so, I figured so I thought it'd make sense if someone on Asgard could understand others, I hope that makes sense and explains how Harry, Sirius and Regulus could understand what Malekith was saying.

I can't think of anything else that I need to address, so, I hoped you enjoyed the read.
