Inkaliber: Hey guys! Welcome back! As you can probably guess by the title, we've got one a few people asked for a few chapters ago. There will be some interesting sights abound in this one. Ready to get started?

Danielle: Talk about finally! It's been a while since I got a chapter! I wanna see how other-me is doing!

Jon: I think it'll be fun. Also my first time in one of these starting notes. Not to mention I get to watch it with Dani.

Inkaliber: And what was that last part, young man~?

Jon: Nothing! Let's just read some reviews and get this over with!

Inkaliber: I'm just teasing. You are right though. We always start off our chapters here with a review answer session, so let's get right to it!

Fregreg- Yup. Hawkmoth seems to be waiting before he strikes again. I can't believe I missed that too. I feel kinda dumb now, lol! I'll have to get back with you on that idea for Gabriel.

LunarCouncillor- Ha! She probably will kick his butt a lot. I'm glad that you're loving it so much.

Speedykitten1643- I'm glad that you found it to be adorable. I figured the usernames would work well for each of the characters that were brought in. Here's the next chapter, so hopefully you'll enjoy it.

Firenerd00- Hey! We don't talk in canon events here, lol! It's called a tradition.

Fuyu_kanji- I'm glad that you found that date bit at the end adorable. I had fun coming up with what Kagami would use as her username and Adrien's was just obvious to me.

P96822- Thanks! Here's the next chapter.

The_Keeper_of_Worlds- I'm glad that you love it! I do have some fun pairings in mind. While not new, one of the pairings gets a specific highlight in this chapter.

glennish1966- I'm glad that you liked the chapter. We'll just have to see if one of them actually does that. Here's the next chapter so look no further, lol!

Moiiracst- 😸😆🎊

Inkaliber: That's all of them. Now we can start this chapter right. Speaking of, wanna do the disclaimer Jon?

Jon: Me!? Um… Okay. Mr. Ink doesn't own Miraculous, Danny Phantom, Marvel, DC, or any other series that show up here. Any original characters, concepts, creatures, and places that work their way into the story are his unless he says otherwise. I guess I just press this button, right?

Inkaliber: WAIT!

Trap door opens.

Inkaliber:... I'll be right back. WRONG BUTTON!

SPLASH!

Jon: ...Oops.

Danielle: …I'm sure he's fine. You press this button.

Jon: Oh! Thanks.

Metropolis, USA

Ellie tapped her shoes together as she sat on the edge of a building, twiddling her thumbs as she looked down at the city below. She was nervous, that much could be garnered from the small frown on her face. Few things could leave her nervous to where she started fidgeting. The very decision she had recently come to caused her to become rather anxious, however. Speaking of her decision, she looked up as she felt a familiar gust of wind in front of her.

"Hey Ellie," greeted Jon. The way he smiled at her in his civilian attire made her own smile appear. She nodded her head as she placed her hands in her lap.

"Hey Jon," greeted the ghost girl. "Thanks for getting here quickly." Her boyfriend quickly returned her nod as he held his hands behind his head.

"No worries! I had to answer a bunch of questions from Mom about where I was going and Dad popped in with Connor. Mom really wants you to stop by sometime, by the way. Anyways, what's up?" Ellie's smile faltered a bit as she stood up from her sitting position.

"That's actually what I wanted to talk about." She watched as Jon gave her a confused look, his arms dropping to his sides. "I think I'm ready for a first date, and to meet your folks. If it's not too soon for either that is." She watched as the half-Kryptonian suddenly began to wave his hands rapidly in an attempt to interrupt her.

"It's actually a perfect time! Connor only comes around every once in a while so it might be a while before you could meet him again! Besides, I can never say no to a date with the cutest girl in the world!" Ellie blushed at being called the cutest, Jon's toothy grin causing the redness to intensify. She quickly regained her composure as she transformed, floating into the air.

"Great. Let's fly together then." Her boyfriend quickly nodded as they zoomed off towards the Kent household. The closer they grew towards the building, the more Ellie's nerves began to eat at her. They touched down right outside the front door, the ghost girl turning back to normal as she dusted off her clothes. Jon opened the door for her, allowing her to step inside before shutting the door behind them.

"Hey Mom!? Dad!? Can you come here a moment!?" Ellie held her hands in front of her as she tried to keep from visibly fidgeting, figuring that it would be a bad sign. She held her breath as Lois walked into the entrance hall, quickly correcting her posture as the woman was looking back the way she came.

"Back so soon, Jon?" questioned Mrs. Kent. "I figured you'd be with your girlfriend a little…" Lois's words died the moment she turned her head towards the duo, watching as her son put a reassuring hand on his girlfriend's shoulder. "Clark, get in here please!" Her husband quickly sped into the hall, adjusting the buttons of a dress shirt while putting on his glasses.

"Hey, Jon," greeted Clark. "How was time with your girl…friend?" The man had the same reaction as his wife when he saw the kids in front of him. He joined her in growing a sincere smile as he nodded his head. Jon sent his girlfriend a smile before turning to his parents.

"Guys, meet Ellie," introduced the lad. "We're going on our first date and she decided that she'd like to meet you guys before we figure out what we're doing." Feeling awkward, the ghost girl raised one of her hands in greeting.

"H…hi," stuttered Ellie. "It's nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Kent." Lois immediately brought her hands together in a loud clap as she shook her head.

"No need to be so formal, Elleanor," reassured the reporter. "Just call us Lois and Clark." Ellie looked away a bit as she worked up the courage to speak again.

"It's Danielle, actually. I just like being called Ellie for short." She watched as Lois cupped a hand in front of her mouth with a gasp.

"I'm sorry. Jon never mentioned your full name so I figured it was a cute way of saying Elleanor." The woman watched as Ellie nodded her head in response.

"It's fine. I guess it's my fault for not coming over sooner." Jon quickly rubbed her shoulder again, sending her a small smile. The moment made Lois coo in adoration. She suddenly walked up behind the duo, ushering them along.

"Well what are you waiting for? Come in! You two will want to plan what you're doing today and nothing says planning like some nice comfort food! Clark, be a dear and fetch the cookies and some strawberry soda." The man snapped his fingers in response to his wife's request as he zoomed faster than Ellie could keep up with.

The duo were soon sat down at the kitchen table, Jon trying not to show his embarrassment at his parents' actions. Thankfully it didn't long for Ellie to begin munching on cookies like she hadn't had one before. Jon was just thankful that he could use his Kryptonian speed to get some cookies for himself, the scene causing his mother to laugh. "Are you enjoying those cookies, Ellie?" The ghost girl stopped in the midst of biting down on another cookie, taking a moment to chew before swallowing.

"Sorry. I don't usually get to eat cookies and these are so good." This time Jon decided to intervene as he pulled his girlfriend close to him in a hug.

"Ellie, you don't have to apologize," reassured the boy. "To be honest you're doing better than me when it comes to chips." Clark soon stood in front of them, fizzing glass bottles of strawberry soda sat before them.

"Or Lois with a potentially big story," added Superman. He quickly earned a playful slap on the arm from his wife, playfully yelping as he rubbed it. Lois then returned her attention back towards the aspiring couple, Ellie keeping her hands in her lap.

"So, Ellie, Jon told us a bit about your situation after Clark heard the rooftop conversation. I know you're more of a wanderer but do you have somewhere you're staying at the moment?" Lois watched as the ghost girl's smile dropped a bit, a somber appearance to it.

"I found a nice alleyway on 26th Street that no one was using, but I think a gang has been moving into the area recently," revealed the ghost girl. "I'll miss being able to sneak into a public shower to freshen up, but I honestly knew I'd have to move shop at some point. Everything important to me is currently on me so if someone rummages through my stuff and finds something it won't bother me too much. I try not to get attached to a lot of things with how likely I am to lose them. Still, a girl can hope that her stuff will still be there in the hometown of Superman."

Ellie noticed the looks that the Kent parents were sending each other, causing her to shuffle back into her seat a bit. She felt like disappearing, only for someone to walk into the room. He looked a lot like Clark, only he kept his hair in a short military cut style. He wore a black sleeveless spandex suit that had a red version of Superman's logo on the front, black combat boots, and a dark green leather jacket. He grabbed a water bottle out of the fridge, chugging it before turning towards the group.

"Are you ready for patrol, Clark?" questioned the young man. "M'Gann said that she asked Bruce to make this new jacket battle ready and…" The boy finally noticed that Ellie was amongst the group at the table, the girl once again straightening a hoodie. "Um… is this a bad time to be showing off the… cosplay?" Jon rolled his eyes as he sat up a bit more in his seat.

"Connor, this is Ellie," introduced the demi-Kryptonian. "She's my girlfriend, and a fellow superhero." The taller boy, now revealed to be Connor, thought over the news for a bit before sighing in recognition.

"That's a relief. I was worried Lois had dragged in a homeless person who was a witness to a story she's following." Quickly realizing what he just said, the clone boy quickly held up his hand. "No offense." Danielle shook her head in denial at the apology.

"It's fine," reassured the ghost girl. "You technically aren't wrong. I didn't get the lucky end of the whole clone thing like you did." The way Connor frowned at that statement made Ellie feel like he was suspicious of her. Jon quickly waved his hand in a dismissive manner, as if knowing what his brother was thinking.

"She's a clone of another here, like you and Red Arrow," revealed the half-Kryptonian. "She's been through a lot and her worst enemy makes it where she can't stay with her original. She also doesn't legally exist so she really can't risk being grabbed by authorities." Connor nodded his head in understanding, having a better idea of the situation. He then looked towards Clark with another head nod.

"Are we still going on patrol together, Clark?" questioned the older boy. "I can handle it myself if you'll be busy." The man of the house quickly zoomed off after standing up, quickly returning in his hero suit.

"I just had to change because Lois called for me after Jon announced his return," revealed the Man of Steel. "We'll need to make an extra stop, but everything should be business as usual." Connor nodded before heading to the backyard, allowing Clark to turn around to face the group. "It was nice to meet you, Ellie. You kids have fun on your first date."

The young duo blushed before nodding their heads. Clark then made his way into the back yard, a small shake of the ground telling them he and Connor took off. The air between the kids became a bit awkward as they had yet decided on what to do for this date. It was clear that Lois was giving them time to think as she took a sip from a coffee mug. Jon suddenly smiled as he got an idea, quickly turning to look at his girlfriend.

"We could go to the mall where we first hung out," suggested the boy. "I'm sure that there's tons of things that we can do there that we haven't done yet. I know that there's a photobooth where we can take pictures together." He watched as Ellie's smile grew, showing her increasing interest. Lois suddenly clapped her hands, causing both teens to look her way.

"Perfect!" cheered the woman. "It'll be a quick drive over. I know you kids are used to flying everywhere but I think a nice drive would be a wonderful way to start things off." Jon and Ellie both nodded at this idea. They just hoped that this first date would start off well.

One hour later

The drive went by a little longer than they thought due to traffic, reminding Ellie about why she preferred flying over riding in a car. She didn't hate it per se but it still wasn't the best start. Then things got better as they did a bit of window shopping and walked around the mall. Jon was a gentleman the entire time, opening doors for her and making sure that she was having a good time. Currently he was holding her hand as they walked through the mall, Lois walking not far behind them.

In Jon's other hand was a small reel of photos that they took at the photo booth he mentioned. The first had them just sitting together, smiling with small blushes on their faces. The next one showed them being a bit more relaxed as Jon hugged Ellie from the side. The third was the goofiest as the duo struck rock star poses. The last one had him blushing as it had him and Ellie leaning on each other as they had an arm around each other.

Things were going extremely well as far as he was concerned. He looked over at Ellie, noticing the huge smile she had on her face. To know that he was making her smile in such a way told him that she hopefully felt the same way. They passed by a clothing store on their way to the arcade, only for Ellie to suddenly stop as she turned towards it. Jon stopped as he felt the tug on his arm, causing him to turn the same way.

"Everything alright, Ellie?" questioned the half-Kryptonian. He looked to see that there was a rather nice looking black and white dress in the midst of the window display outfits, some purple and green sparkles making it look like it was coated in the night sky. He smiled as he nodded his head. "Okay. Even I have to admit that's a nice one, and I'm a boy." He watched his girlfriend chuckle at his goofiness as she shook her head.

"Yeah," agreed Ellie. "It's really nice." Her smile suddenly fell as she looked down at the ground. "It would sure be nice to be able to wear something like that. It'd probably just get dirty, given where I live at the moment."

Jon frowned at this notion, not liking how his girlfriend's mood suddenly dropped. He looked back at his mother, who had stopped to make sure they were alright. He watched her send him a knowing smile, not even having to say what was on his mind.

"Well no one says that you have to own it to wear it," revealed the woman. She quickly got behind the two kids and began ushering them into the store. "That's why changing rooms exist. I'm sure Jon wouldn't mind a little detour." Ellie looked shocked as the woman ushered them into the store, dragging her heels as her nervousness returned. She could do nothing for it as she was dragged through the various clothing isles.

Once she was brought to the clothes area, however, a form of excitement began to wash over her. There were so many beautiful colors and designs, some of which reminded her of certain locations on her travels. Lois smiled down at the girl as she lightly grasped her shoulders. "Go on. Jon and I will happily appraise anything you want to try."

Feeling empowered by these words, Ellie immediately began looking over everything. She took to it like a girl who was being allowed to pick out her own clothes for the first time, which technically wasn't inaccurate. She grabbed so many different things that she didn't know what went with what. Of course Lois stepped in to help her get her proper sizes and make sure she didn't put together a crime to fashion. Soon Ellie had a few things to try on as she approached the changing room.

"I'll try to be quick!" She dashed into the first stall available, leaving Lois and Jon on their own. Lois suddenly heard a ding on her phone, pulling it out. She pointed the screen towards Jon, sending him a shushing finger over her lips. The boy grinned at the sight, only for his jaw to nearly hit the floor.

Danielle walked out in a pink crop top, blue jeans, and a pair of pink mary janes. She rubbed her arm nervously as she looked down. "How does it look? I know it's pretty bland but…" Jon was surprisingly the first to move as he shook his head.

"It's great!" cheered the boyfriend. "Right Mom?" He looked over to his mother, who nodded her head slowly.

"It does look good for a day on the town," agreed the woman. "I'll give it a four out of five." Ellie smiled at the approval before dipping back into the stall. The next outfit she walked out in consisted of a red hairband that sat atop her head, a black long-sleeved shirt, black jean shorts with red stitching, a pair of red tights, and black slip-on shoes. Jon smirked as he nodded his head.

"I say it'd be a good look for going to a concert, which we could totally do sometime. If it's one you like, the shirt could be changed to something from them." He watched Ellie nod her head with a hum as she dipped back into the changing booth. The next outfit she decided to display was a white turtleneck accompanied by a copper necklace, pink pants, and white shoes. Jon smiled at her while his mother decided to comment next.

"It's definitely a nice winter look. I wonder how it would look with your hair down though. How about giving it a try?" Danielle froze at the suggestion, not sure what to think of it. She brought a hand to her hair as she tried to look away.

"I… I've always worn my hair like this," revealed the girl. "It's usually better for being on the go." She watched Lois nod her head in understanding.

"I know, but you're on a date right now. I think you'll be safe to let your hair down." Ellie took a moment to think as she looked to the floor. Letting loose a deep sigh, she quickly brought her hands to the small band that faithfully kept her hair in its pony-tail state. It took her a bit to remove it, unaware that she was leaving Jon mesmerized.

Her hair was soon unleashed as it fell to her shoulders. Then it slowly rose as the follicles began to naturally curl. Ellie opened her eyes as she nervously held her hands together.

"W…well? How does it look?" Lois smiled as she picked Jon's jaw back up to where it rightfully belonged.

"I think Jon speaks for both of us. I love how curly it is." Ellie hummed as she ran her hands through her, confused by the feeling.

"I figured my hair would be straight like Danny's. Maybe it's part of the whole 'failed clone' thing." Ellie felt hands on her shoulders at the mention of being a failure, looking up to see Lois smiling at her.

"Just forget about all of that. If you ask me, it just shows more than anything that you're your own person. Now I know there's two more outfits in there, so why not give them a try before anything else?" The very idea that she was being seen as her own person caused Ellie to smile as she ran back into the changing booth, making sure to wipe away any tears that would have threatened to leave her eyes. As she was changing Jon sent his mother a grateful nod.

Ellie didn't take long to walk out of the stall, regaining the mother-son duo's attention. She was now wearing a long-sleeved v-neck shirt that had a pocket on the left side of her chest, a pattern of flowers running from the shoulders down to the end of the sleeves. It was accompanied by a long orange skirt, orange socks, and brown boots. She twirled a bit to let the dress flow out a bit more, her hair also flowing now that it was free. She smiled as she turned back towards the Kents.

"I like this one. I think it'll be nice for a fall picnic." She watched Jon grin as he pulled out his phone, typing on the screen.

"And I'm adding that to my list of date ideas," stated the boy. "Also adding 'concert date' so that I won't forget it later." His mother sent him a knowing smile as she placed her hands on her hips.

"So you wrote a list for date ideas?" questioned the woman. "Mind if I have a peek?" She tried to reach for the device, only for her son to swiftly shove it back into his pants pockets.

"Anyway, once we get that last one done we can have some more fun! Blow me away, Ellie!" Jon watched as his girlfriend giggled before walking back into the changing room. As the duo waited, however, it took a bit longer for Ellie to come out. This soon changed as Ellie popped her head out from the stall, not allowing the rest of herself to show.

"Um… are you sure this is okay, Lois?" questioned the girl. "I feel a little exposed wearing this." The woman nodded her head, earning a concerned look from her son.

"It's a swimsuit, Ellie," reassured Lois. "You'd only wear it for things like a pool or a beach. It's definitely more modest than what I've seen some girls your age wear. You'll be fine, and I think you'll like the results~." Jon was about to ask his mother what she picked out, both out of curiosity and concern, only for his face to go completely red as his girlfriend stepped out of the stall.

The first thing Jon noticed was that Ellie's form was more on display as she was wearing a two-piece swimsuit. It consisted of a white bikini top with a green and purple diamond pattern, a black bikini bottom that extended a bit down her thighs, and tan sandals. Lois smiled as she nodded her head. "Now give us a turn." Ellie slowly turned around, giving Jon more reason for his whole body to match the shade of his head.

The boy began to spout utter gibberish as he tried to think of something to say that would not sound totally weird. He obviously failed as more gibberish left his mouth. He looked up from where he had looked down her form, watching as Ellie giggled at the sight of him being a blubbering mess.

"I think I see what you meant, Lois." Jon immediately held his hands in front of his face as he took a deep breath, trying to regain his composure. Ellie didn't give him the time to do so as she nodded her head. "This has been fun, but it's probably that time I changed back into what I had before." She walked back into the stall, a bit of a sway to her hips. Jon groaned as he brought his hands to his mouth.

"You did that on purpose," sighed the boy. "Why?" His mother took a moment to laugh at his reaction before rubbing the top of his head.

"Oh honey, I was doing you both a favor," reassured Lois. "I didn't want you to embarrass yourself when you saw her in a swimsuit for the first time. Trust me, you'll be thanking me in a few years." All she received in response was a grumble as the boy finally made his blushing go down. Ellie soon walked out of the stall in her original attire, her hair still free from the pony-tail as she had the clothes she tried on in her arms.

"What do we do now?" questioned the girl. "Do we bring these back to an employee or…" Lois quickly smiled at the ghost girl before receiving the outfits from her.

"I'll take care of it. I saw some outfits I want to take home to try on myself. You kids just wait outside as I'll be a little bit." Jon and Ellie both nodded as they walked out of the store. Lois smiled as she continued to walk around the department.

The young couple were left sitting outside on a bench, Ellie messing with her hair a bit as she was getting used to having it down. True to her word Lois was taking a few minutes with whatever she was doing. Jon began to feel annoyed as he figured his mother got distracted shopping again. He knew what was actually going on, but the idea was still present in his head. He was about to get up and check on her when Ellie looked at him with a worried frown.

"Do you… really think I look better with my hair down, Jon?" Jon quickly looked at his girlfriend as she poked her fingers together. "I…I'm thinking of leaving it down when we're just hanging out or when nothing's going on. I just don't wanna go through with it if I look funny." He quickly took her hands in his as he sent her a small smile.

"Ellie, your hair is amazing," complemented the boy. His girlfriend blushed at his answer as he continued. "You wear it however you want, but I do like it down. You make anything look amazing." He couldn't stop himself as he gave his girlfriend a quick smooch on the forehead.

Both kids suddenly blushed as the action was extremely sudden. Jon quickly pulled back his hands as he waved them frantically. "Sorry! I just acted without thinking and…" He didn't have time to explain himself as Ellie wrapped her arms behind his neck.

"Jon, just enjoy the moment." The girl then kissed him on the cheek before embracing him in a hug. Shocked by the action, Jon awkwardly returned the embrace. They remained like this for a moment before the sound of a camera snapping caused them to practically leap back from each other. They turned to see Lois with her phone out, doing her best not to chuckle.

"Sorry, but I had to get a picture of that one," apologized the reporter. "Those are going in the photo album." She put her phone away as the duo sent her upset frowns. She finally let loose a small chuckle as she shook her head. "Anyway, I have some news."

This caught the kids' attention, Ellie sending her a confused frown while Jon sent her a knowing smile. "Jon's grandmother has invited us over for supper. I told her about you and she said she'd like to meet you too. I know you only just met us but I figured you'd want to get to know all of Jon's family with how serious you two are about the relationship." Ellie looked concerned by the offer, only for Jon to shoot her an excited grin.

"I think it's a great idea!" cheered the boy. His girlfriend looked towards him as he rubbed the back of his head. "My cousin Kara should be in town too so you'll meet everyone in the family. It'd also give you another place to go if something goes wrong." Ellie thought everything over for a moment before nodding her head.

"Alright," accepted the ghost girl. "It'll be nice to have a hot meal before returning to the alley." Jon and Lois sent knowing looks before the trio made their way out of the mall. This time the car ride was a bit longer, Ellie watching as the view turned from the big city to the countryside. By the time the car stopped the sun was setting over the horizon.

Jon helped her out of the vehicle as she laid her eyes upon a small farmhouse, a large barn not far from it. She saw a blonde woman herding some cattle into the barn. She was currently wearing a plaid button-up shirt tied above the stomach, rolled up blue jeans, and brown boots. The sound of a door opening caused Ellie to turn, watching as an elderly woman walked out of the house. Said woman smiled as she turned towards the blonde at the barn.

"Kara!" cried the woman. "They're here!" The younger woman, now identified as Kara, smiled as she began to walk towards the group. The woman reached them first as she hugged Lois. "Oh it's so good to see you, Lois!" The reporter smiled as she hugged the elderly woman back.

"It's always nice to see you, Martha," greeted Lois. The women separated as Kara stopped to the side of them. "Hey Kara. Glad to see that you're in the neighborhood for a while." The reporter quickly embraced the blonde just the same as she did the Mrs. Kent.

"Figured I could use a bit of a break from the big city," revealed Kara. "Of course when I heard a certain little man we know and love found a girlfriend I just had to stop by and meet her myself." The two women separated as Kara suddenly smiled deviously. "Speaking of…" Jon let go of Ellie's hand as he crouched into a ready stance.

"Hang on one moment," requested the boy. He suddenly took off into the air, Kara taking off after him much to Ellie's surprise. The blonde was faster than, however, as she caught him midair.

"Where do you think you're going!?" Jon was suddenly pulled into a noogie as he cried out indignantly with a smile on his face. The duo slowly returned back to the ground as Kara continued to mess with him. "Who said you could grow up on your cousin so fast, huh?" Jon fought his way out of the blonde's hold as he tried to fix his hair.

"Kara! Don't mess up my hair in front of Ellie!" The adults laughed at his reaction, Ellie quickly joining in as she giggled. Her joy in the situation soon lessened as she watched the two occupants of the farm turn towards her. Martha Kent was the first to move as she cooed in delight.

"You must be Danielle!" cheered the woman. She hugged the ghost girl faster than she could respond. "You're so adorable. I love your hair. It reminds me of myself back in the old days." Ellie chuckled as she pushed out of the elderly woman's embrace.

"Thank you, Mrs. Kent," stated the ghost girl. "It's nice to meet you." Martha cooed again as she nodded her head.

"Such a polite girl. Please, just call me Martha." Ellie nodded her head, glad that the elderly woman was being hospitable. She then turned her attention to Kara, the blonde walking her way. She was prepared herself to be noogied, only for the blonde to place a hand on her shoulder.

"Ellie, right?" questioned Kara. "I'm Kara. Gotta say, it's nice to have another girl around. Way too much testosterone for my taste." Ellie couldn't help but chuckle at the joke as she rubbed the back of her head. Martha gestured to the house with a small smile.

"Well what are we standing around out here for?" questioned the elderly woman. "Clark and Connor are already inside. Supper should be ready soon so I hope you have an appetite." The kids licked their lips at the promise of food, following the adults inside. Once they were in the living room, Clark walked out from the kitchen with a large pot in his bare hands.

"Hey guys!" greeted the man. "It's almost ready. Jon, could you help set the table?" The boy quickly ran over to the nearby cupboard as he pulled out some plates and silverware. He did his best to set the table, even moving at super speed to get things put down faster.

Ellie walked around on her own for a bit, getting used to the cozy interior. It was honestly very homey, a feeling that she actually liked. Soon the smells of foods she had only heard of hit her nose as Clark brought out several more dishes. Kara eventually joined in as the table was set. Ellie watched as Martha walked over to the stairs and cupped her hands.

"Connor, honey!" cried the woman. "It's ready!" A door opened up above before the clone in question walked down the stairs.

"So is the guest room," replied Connor. "I had to find somewhere to put everything until she can…" He then noticed that Ellie was looking their way, hearing everything they were saying. "Hello again, Ellie." Ellie tilted her head with a small grin.

"Hey Connor," greeted the ghost girl. "You guys expecting someone soon?" The boy clone smirked as he made his way down the stairs.

"You could say that. Let's just enjoy dinner for now." Confused by the statement, Ellie could only shrug as she couldn't argue about the idea of good food. It didn't take long after saying grace that the family began to distribute the meal. The ghost girl couldn't help but stare at the rather large helping of ham, mac'n cheese, and rolls that she was given.

She felt like it would be rude to just keep looking at it, so she began to join the others in eating it. The more she ate, the more she felt pressure begin to build up in her eyes. It was like the power of a home cooked meal was able to bring forth every emotion that she had built up from being on her own for so long. Every night she had to go hungry because she was nearly caught trying to take food, every moment where she hurt herself and didn't have a person to turn to, and even moments where she cried at night because of a nightmare where she melted and never got to meet Jon. Apparently her emotions became very visible as Jon was quickly by her side, placing his hands on her.

"Ellie!" cried the boy. "Are you alright!?" Martha quickly stood up as she held her hands together.

"Is it too hot sweetheart!?" questioned the woman. "Clark, try to cool it down with your cold breath." The Man of Steel was about to meet the request when Ellie began to rub the tears out of her eyes as best as she could.

"No, it's not the food," sobbed the ghost girl. The family had all eyes on her as Jon continued to rub her shoulder. "It's just… you guys have been so nice to me even though most of you only just met me. Allowing me to date Jon, taking me window shopping, letting me eat such a nice dinner with you guys… You make me feel like I'm my own person instead of some failed clone that has to live on the streets because I'm half ghost."

The girl finally was able to look at the family as she had the saddest smile she believed that she'd ever produced. "Every day I hope to hear from Danny that they have a cure for my physical instability or that Vlad is gone for good so that I can have a place to call home. I've waited two whole years. Now here I am, eating with you guys when I know that once my little alley cover is discovered I'll have to leave. Part of me doesn't want to leave this place."

Ellie looked down as she clenched the handle of her fork harder. "I've been all over the US and I've enjoyed being able to explore, but I feel like I need a place to call home like everyone else. Instead I'm constantly having to live my life on the run as a girl that doesn't exist in the eyes of the law. I can't have anything nice in my life without something coming along and trying to take it away from me." She took a few moments to breathe as she tried to keep more tears from leaking out.

Feeling the air grow tense, the ghost girl immediately stood up. "I ruined the entire evening. I'll get going and…" She was suddenly hugged by Jon, the boy not letting her go. She watched as Lois stood up, a small smile on her face.

"Jon, show her," stated the woman. This sentence caused Danielle to feel alarmed, only for Jon to slowly guide her upstairs. There were a few doors leading to bedrooms on the second floor, one of them being left slightly ajar. The clone girl looked confused as her boyfriend stopped in front of the ajar door. He slowly pushed it open, giving her the same smile his mother had.

"Go on," requested the son of Superman. "Look inside." Ellie looked to her boyfriend, making sure there were no ulterior motives visible. She slowly walked into the room, finding that the lights were turned off. She was prepared to leap back at the first sign of danger when the lights turned on.

Her eyes widened as she saw that it was a simple guest room that had a bathroom and an open closet. What surprised her the most was the various knick-knacks and items placed on a nearby bookshelf. Each one depicted a different location or very clearly came from a specific area. Even the quilt on her bed looked handmade, the depiction of an alpaca visible on it. The ghost girl shook a bit as she looked around the room.

"This… this is all my stuff," gasped the ghost girl. "My bird whistle, the snow globe I got from New York, my alpaca wool quilt… How did you…?" She heard more footsteps approaching as Clark and Lois walked into the room with Jon in front of them. She turned towards them as Clark put an arm around his wife's shoulders.

"Connor and I found it all in the alley that you told us about," revealed the Man of Steel. "We were lucky to get there in time as someone almost stole your alarm clock. After making sure that all of this would be okay, we brought it all here. We had to finish our patrol first, of course, but everything was kept close by." Lois decided to speak next as she nodded her head.

"When you came to Metropolis, you changed so many things," revealed the reporter. "Saving our son's life, sweeping him off his feet, giving him someone special that he can be himself around without having to worry about his powers… After a long time of talking, we knew we needed to do something to repay the happiness you gave him. We figured the only way we could without making you be lost in the system was to help make your life better just like you did for Jon. Meeting you today gave us the chance to do just that."

Lois placed some of the bags from the store they went to near the foot of the bed. "Everything you tried on are in these bags, as well as some things I noticed that you wanted to try." The woman then held her hands together in front of her as she watched Ellie send her a wide eyed look. "I know we can't really help you find a way to make a home back where you came from, so we figured that we would bring you into ours." Clark decided to speak up again as he placed his free hand on his son's shoulder.

"If you're worried about paying us back, there's always work to do on the farm. You don't have to do anything that you don't want to, though we do ask that you at least stop by and say hi every now and again back at our house. I'm also going to talk with a certain league friend of mine about the legal situation. We'll also do our best to keep a certain rich man off your back, and I'm not talking about Bruce." Jon then held a hand out to Ellie as he sent her a big smile.

"We know that you'll be traveling more in the future, but we wanted you to have a place you can always come back to," stated the half-Kryptonian. "You've become part of my family, so I wanted to make them part of yours too. We're not ghosts but we can at least understand what it's like to not be fully human. Well, at least I, Dad, Connor, and Kara do. The point is, you've always got a home with us if you ever need someone to turn to."

Ellie's heart beat faster as tears once again threatened to escape her eyes. The sensation was overwhelming, but nevertheless extremely welcome. She suddenly hugged Jon as she cried into his shoulder, Lois and Clark joining the embrace. The remaining three members of the family stood outside, each of them smiling at the scene before them. Clark decided to speak as he rubbed the ghost girl's head.

"Welcome home."

Danielle: Wow… That was a lot. This guy's really a fan of mine, isn't he?

Jon: For the record, he got everything pretty accurately. My family would totally do that for you. Especially if you've been around long enough.

Danielle: Interesting. So would it also be accurate to say that you'd date me~?

Jon:… If you want to.

Danielle: Oh. I'll admit the idea has crossed my mind. Maybe we could go for some ice cream or…

BANG!

Inkaliber: I am seriously having that button uninstalled. This is the second time that I've been dunked! I don't even remember why I have it in the first place! I… mischievous grin. Was I interrupting something~?

Jon: No!

Danielle: Well if you were a few minutes later probably.

Inkaliber: I see. Well since the chapter's over you two are free to go plan whatever you want. Just make sure you have a reliable chaperone.

Jon & Danielle: Okay!

Inkaliber: Ah, kids. They grow up so fast. Anyway, what did you think of the chapter? How about the quick date Jon and Ellie had? Do you like how Ellie will be staying on the Kent Family Farm for the time being?

Let me know what you think down below, and I'll try to respond ASAP. Hopefully next time it won't take as long to pump out a chapter. This is Inkaliber, signing out.
