Welcome back everyone! It's time for another chapter of the MGG! This is going to be a bit of a mixed chapter, meaning some chat speech here and some in person content there. There are some exciting things to be found within. Before any of that, it's time to answer some reviews.
P96822: I'm glad that you liked the chapter! I figured that giving the other Amity members of Titans Dark mission outfits would be a good idea. I wanted to bring more people into the team and Valerie felt like she deserved to know at this point. The blob monsters were honestly a completely random creation as I needed a villain to test out the strengths of the newly formed team.
OceanaMM: Lol! Yeah they really are attracted to each other.
Njistar: Indeed. Alya will want to watch her toes here. I figured Danny would want to stick to form on the whole Titans part of their name. There is indeed chaos already within the team, but now there's bound to be more.
Rocky: Yup! We'll just have to see how Alya adapts to living in the most haunted place in the US.
Lilyofthestars: I'm happy that you liked it all! I wanted to make some ghosts to test Titans Dark, and the results were rather obvious. I figured that Valerie and the ghost couple would be valuable members to the team. We'll have to see how Alya handles everything.
Speedykitten1643: Thanks! It will indeed be interesting to see how these three interact with the rest of the guild.
Fregreg: I'm glad you like the mission outfits! Your comment on the peeler did help me to come up with the idea for how Sam and Tucker could help in a fight. I figured that the three who joined the team would make things interesting. I guess we'll have to wait until that day happens.
The_Keeper_of_Worlds: Why thank you! I hoped Alya ending up here would be a good idea. There will indeed be a lot of fun to be had with this plot.
UnknownDrew: Yup! Nino was there when she discovered what she did wrong and helped her to make things right. Well, as right as she could make them.
Blackchill00: Desiree and the anti-swearing wish have been mentioned in a prior chat chapter. Those are some interesting questions. I'll have to get back with you on that.

darknessslayer: Thanks! You do bring up a fair point about Danny not going too far. Alya was indeed a victim. I figured it would be good to have the three of them join the team. Danny may have grown a lot in the past two years, though he is still Danny.
LunarCouncillor: Yup. Now they bring more ghostly craziness to the team and to the guild.
MarvelFan616: I tried to not make it obvious where she'd end up, so America was the most I could share at that time. I figured adding two ghost friends to the chat would be a good idea to help liven things up. This season will definitely hit hard. To be honest having Johnny be mentioned last season was a bit of unintentional foreshadowing. Glad to see you remembered that moment though.

I have a friend who's throwing a party in Paris a few weeks from now so I'll be there for a few days around that time.
Just thought I'd message and let you guys know.

Not like there's anything wrong with it though.
We don't really get to talk much.

MajorScaless: I can say pretty far, but I don't know everything about someone just by their inner song.
All I get is an idea of who they are as a person and whether they're lying or not.

That sounds both scary and like something we could use here in Gotham.

Digging deeper, I get the vibes of someone who prefers using your skills and intelligence to solve problems.
This is paired with a contrasting yet compatible chorus that shows your willingness to stand up for yourself and others around you.

Wayne Manor, Gotham City
The sound of a clicking computer filled the air of Wayne Manor's study. A young woman could be seen typing away at her computer, a flirtatious smirk on her face. She had red hair, fair skin, and blue eyes. She was wearing a green tank-top, a white jacket, blue jeans, and black high-heels. This was Barbara Gordon, known by her friends as Babs.
She was currently in the midst of telling Luka the details about the party, including the fact that it was rock and roll themed. From his messages, Babs gathered that he was quite a fan of said music. Now all she had to do was find a good outfit to wear and get on the first plane to Paris when the time was right. That shouldn't be too difficult. She was about to close her computer when she heard someone enter the study. She looked up as she closed her computer, only to smirk as she saw Alfred walk in.
"Hey Alfred!" greeted Barbara. "I was just messaging with someone." The elderly butler nodded his head with his usual unreadable expression.
"I did not enter to pry on your personal life, Lady Barbara," revealed Alfred. "I was merely guiding Master Clark to the Batcave." Barbara quickly looked behind the man, surprised as Clark entered the room in a business suit.
"Hey Clark! What brings you to Gotham?" She watched the Man of Steel smirk as he tipped his hat to her.
"Just some personal business with Bruce," revealed Clark. "I'd have called but I felt like this needed to be said in person." He watched Barbara smile as she leaned back in her seat.
"Well don't let me stop you. I'll probably be heading out soon as it's getting late. Say hi to Lois for me when you get back home!" Barbara gathered her things before heading out, thoughts still racing through her head. Clark waved goodbye to her, only for Alfred to clear his throat.
"Master Clark," interrupted the butler. "This way, please." Clark quickly nodded his head as he followed Alfred. They soon reached a more private area, a set of stairs lowering down to below the manor. They traveled deeper into the area, soon arriving in the Batcave.
There, sitting at the Batcomputer, was the man himself. The black cowl that seamlessly transitioned to the black cape, the gray spandex suit with the black bat logo on the chest, even down to the black gloves and boots. Bruce was in the mindset of Batman as he looked over a case file. He seemed to be looking at a specific area rather intently as Alfred and Clark began their approach. "Master Bruce."
Bruce pressed a button that closed the folder, revealing that it was titled "Birdwatch" before he swapped over to a blank screen. Clark knew this behavior was a sign that Bruce was looking at a private and personal case. Alfred gestured to the guest with one hand as the man of the house turned towards them. "Master Clark is here to see you." Bruce remained in his seat as he looked towards the Man of Steel.
"I'm busy," growled the Dark Knight. "I was in the middle of a long running case." Clark shook his head as he placed a hand on his chest.
"I know you don't like surprise visits, but I wouldn't have come to you if anyone else could do it," revealed Superman. "This is serious, Bruce." The Batman said nothing as he looked Clark up and down. Bruce would seem like he was apathetic to the situation, though Clark knew better. Case in point, the Caped Crusader turned back to the computer with a growl.
"Alfred, prepare some tea please. I have a feeling this will be a long one." Alfred quickly bowed respectfully in response to the request.
"Of course, Master Bruce," accepted the butler. He quickly left in order to accomplish his assigned task. Bruce waited for Clark to walk closer before speaking again.
"What's the situation this time? I assume it has something to do with the unknown vigilante calling herself 'Geist' that's been showing up around Metropolis." He didn't even have to look back to know that Clark was nodding his head. He quickly pulled up what little files he had begun to collect on this new vigilante, noting how she was similar to recent instances of ghosts recorded in Amity Park. His guest placed a hand on his shoulder, causing him to glance back.
"Let's just say the help I need isn't anything like bringing her in or dealing with her. It's more… legal than that." Clark watched as Bruce fully turned towards him, his arms on the armrests of his chair. "And no, it's not adoption papers." He watched as Bruce raised a brow at this accusation.
"I still don't get why everyone thinks I have those lying around. I'm more concerned with the fact that you're helping an unknown vigilante." Clark quickly held up his hands in defense,
"Bruce, she's a kid just like Damian and Jon. Admittedly she's a kid with powers, but I can tell she's a good person. Plus, she's a clone like Connor." This reveal garnered him widened eyes from Bruce. The Batman quickly turned back around as he quickly began typing into his computer.
"I thought her attire looked familiar. White hair, green eyes, black and white suit…" Clark winced, realizing that he really should have gotten Bruce away from the computer. He soon watched as the Caped Crusader brought up a picture of Phantom, putting him next to an image of Ellie in a similar pose. "There'd have to be some form of DNA for a clone to be possible, which means…" Clark immediately pulled the chair back in a way that wouldn't hurt Bruce, getting between him and the Batcomputer.
"Bruce, please just listen to me!" He watched the man glare at him, though there was no effort put into interrupting him. "I know you want to find out what's up with Phantom to satiate your need to know everything about and make contingencies for every hero you meet, but you need to shelf that for now. I need you to get into the mindset that helped you to help your sons to become Robin, so that this girl can live her life. She has been lied to, hurt, nearly killed, and wronged in many more ways by the man who created her."
He gestured to the picture of Geist, a serious frown on his face. "She has no one back in Amity Park to turn to without putting herself in jeopardy, and we both know what happens to people that don't legally exist. Imagine what could happen to her if someone like Amanda Waller or those insane men from that one group that nearly attacked Metropolis just to get rid of me. If you want some problem to latch onto, think of what could happen if someone were to make more like her."
This seemed to get Bruce thinking as he looked down, some of Clark's other points also beginning to race through his mind. The Man of Steel decided to drive his point home as he crossed his arms. "She's worked with Jon, Damian, and another new friend of theirs for a while now and nothing bad has happened. I need you to be the compassionate Bruce Wayne just as much as I need you to be the 'can-do-anything' Batman right now. Help me save her life before someone can try and destroy it, because her creator would do it just to get what he actually wanted out of her."
Clark waited for a solid minute as Bruce remained silent. The bat themed hero still had his head tilted down, his eyes probably moving back and forth as fast as his mind was racing. The main hero of Gotham finally released a sigh as he reached for his cowl. He took it off, revealing that he was indeed Bruce Wayne underneath. Bruce set the cowl on a nearby table before nodding towards Clark.
"Fine, but I want to know everything you know. Her name, how she came to be, and who created her." Clark nodded his head, having known that the Dark Knight would ask for this. Thankfully, he heard Alfred begin to make his way down with a tray carrying a tea set. Like Bruce said, this was going to be a long story.
That's it for this chapter! Babs and Luka not only flirt, but they also decide to use a party on Luka's birthday as a first date. Then Clark approaches Bruce about helping Ellie gain her legal status. This also leads to Bruce finding out how she's connected to Phantom, though he now seems to be onboard with whatever Clark has planned. The tension and drama just continues to rise!
