"As the fight against Robotnik's tyranny continued, my children used their many skills and powers to further our cause." Aleena said.
"Move over! I can't see!" Sonic said.
"Ouch! Your elbow's in my side." Sonia said.
"Shhh! SWATbot comin'." Manic said and Sonic and Sonia gasped.
"Worker!" a swatbox said.
"Yo, trouble! Get ready." Sonic said.
"Yes, Guardian." Manic said.
"You overlooked that can." a swatbox said.
"Yes, Guardian."
"Blech!" Sonia said.
"Thank you, Manic!" Sonic said.
"Hey, man! A bot's gotta do what a bot's gotta do." Manic said.
"I'll get you for that!"
"Gimme a second, here." he said and fiddled a lockpick around in a socket. "Now we'll see how well Cyrus's deactivation codes work." he said and tapped in the correct code. "Granted!"
"Can we get outta here now?"
"Not yet." he said and wheeled the cart a little further. "Now!"
"Who came up with this stupid janitor cart idea?" Sonia asked.
"Uh, that would be... you!" Sonic said.
"Next time I come up with an idea like this, lock me up until it passes."
"Uh, you guys wanna hurry it up?" Manic asked.
"Robotnik's gonna freak if he finds out we're diverting his supply ships!" Sonic said.
"If these things work the way Cyrus says they will, we're going to feed a lot of Freedom Fighters! Next ship, Manic!" Sonia said.
"What have we here? Oh goody, a holographic cube! Maybe it's an invitation!" Bartleby said, placed the cube in a hologram player and gasped.
"Greetings. I'm here to invite you to witness a miracle. My incredible invention which I simply call "The De-Roboticizer"." Titus hologram said.
"Good heavens!" Bartleby said and the machine flashed brightly. "Huh?"
"You may witness a live demonstration at Countess Katrina's estate."
"Astounding!"
"You may witness a live demonstration at Countess Katrina's estate."
"A de-robotomatizer? Is that good?" Dingo asked.
"Impossible!" Robotnik said.
"No, you melonhead! It is bad. Very bad!" Sleet said.
"Hmmm... a De-Roboticizer..."
"I knew you would want to know about it."
"Go to that demonstration and find out what's going on."
"Yes, sir! I will, sir!"
"Freeze frame!" Robotnik said and the screen paused. "What's a Janitor Bot doing in the cargo ship hangar? Hmm, must be a malfunction. Check it out, Sleet!"
"Last one!" Manic said.
"Good! I'm about to pass out from these fumes." Sonic said.
"Uh-oh, trouble! Sleet and Dingo at nine o'clock!"
"Hey, you!" Sleet said.
"I'll handle this. Meet you back at the main air vent." Manic said, pushed the cart away and grabbed Sleet. Yes, sir. Shall we dance?"
"Hey! Release me, you stupid hunk of metal!" Sleet said and Dingo laughed.
Then Sonia gasped.
"Oh my gosh! Lady Windermere!" she said as Lady Winderemere walked past in the hall. "Oh, I miss her so much..."
"She's one of them now, Sonia. You can't help her." Sonic said.
"Put me down, you bag of bolts! I'll convert you to a can opener!" Sleet said.
"Care to cut in?" Manic asked.
"Er... okay!" Dingo said.
"No, no, no, put me down!" Sleet said.
"I'm bushed!" Manic said.
"Yuck! It's for you, Sonia." Sonic said.
"Sonia, too bad you're not there. I have great news for you! The days of the roboticizer are over!" Bartleby said.
"Ahh!" Sonia said.
Later.
"Just think, if this works, we could help Lady Windermere!" Sonia said.
"Yeah, well I'll believe it when I see it." Sonic said.
"What a good idea!"
"Allow me to introduce... Titus!" Bartleby said.
"Oh, yeah! That's what I call a scientist." Sonic said.
"Sonic Hedgehog, you behave yourself!" Sonia said and turned to Titus. "Sorry. Very nice to meet you."
"Oh, your life force is strong!" Titus said.
"Oh, this oughta be good!" Manic said.
"Princess Sonia... Bartleby has told me all about you. But he never told me you were so beautiful!"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever! Look, guy. We wanna see the De-Roboticizer!" Sonic said.
"Oh, I'm afraid that's not possible." Titus said.
"Why not?"
"I will demonstrate my De-Roboticizer at tonight's gathering. I'm afraid you'll have to wait until then."
"Why not sooner?"
"Sonic, would you lighten up?" Sonia asked.
"Quite all right. I think our skeptical friend will have his questions answered tonight." Titus said.
"Oh, Sonic, you will be there this evening?" Bartleby said.
"Wouldn't miss it!" Sonic said and caught Manic stealing artifacts. "Put 'em back!"
"What? Okay…" Manic said.
"I'm waitiiing!"
"Good heavens! Is there a problem?" Bartleby said.
"Not anymore. Outta here!"
Later.
"Cyrus, my main man! What's this?" Sonic said.
"Open it when you play. I think you'll like it. Everyone's been waiting." Cyrus said.
"It's what we live for, Cyrus!" Sonia said.
["We're The Sonic Underground"]
"This abandoned skyscraper is directly in the path of Robotnik's cargo ships." Cyrus said.
"Aw, you gotta love this stuff!" Sonic said.
"Every week we'll redirect the ships into this building, and unload a portion of the food and supplies. And if we're careful, Robotnik will never know we're plugging to his supply line!"
"So from now on, dinner's on Robotnik!" Manic said.
"One thing, though. When the supply ships come through, we're gonna need a diversion."
"No problemo, Cy! Diversion's my middle name." Sonic said as the crowd went on with commotion.
"The hedgehogs! Well, this just gets better and better!" Sleet said.
"Ooh, Sonia!" Dingo said.
"Don't start!"
"Er, what's this?"
"Ever hear of the fly on the wall? Well, that's you!"
"Hey!"
"Get in there so I can hear what's going on."
"Errg, okay!"
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Tonight you will witness a revolution in technology." Titus said.
"Yeah, sure!" Sonic said.
"Shhh!" Sonia said.
"Sonia!" Dingo said.
"My invention can de-roboticize those who have fallen under the evil influence of the dreaded Doctor Robotnik." Titus said and Sonic gasped as excited commotion and robotic growling went on. "In moments, he will return to his original state. Watch... and believe!"
"Oh yeah, nice light show!" Sonic said.
"Behave!" Sonia said.
"Really!" Bartleby said.
"Okay, really nice light show!" Sonic said.
"And now... behold!" Titus said and there was loud and amazed commotion.
"Oh! I... I can't believe it! It's a miracle! Ahh... how can I ever thank you?" Accomplice said.
"Go home to your family and spread the word."
"Thank you, my friend! Thank you!"
"I'd say that went well. Wouldn't you?" Bartleby said.
"Sonic?" Sonia said.
"I gotta see this thing for myself!" Sonic said.
"This guy is too much! Dingo?" Sleet said.
"Er, yeah?" Dingo said.
"Get closer to the inventor."
"Okay! We're on our way."
"I'm sorry, but that's private." Titus said.
"What? Hey, I got a friend in the Resistance who'd love to see how this thing works!" Sonic said.
"Impossible. I've worked too hard on this technology to give it away."
"So just helpin' people doesn't do it for you, huh?"
"Sis, are you sure you wanna do this?" Manic asked.
"Absolutely! I'm gonna rescue Lady Windermere whether Sonic likes it or not!" Sonia said.
Later.
"Sonic, if this works, he deserves to make money!" Sonia said.
"You must understand. I use the money for research. Why, just recently I invented an enhancement to this machine." Titus said.
"Oh yeah? What's that?" Manic asked.
"I can now prevent robotization."
"What is it?" Robotnik asked.
"You should hear this, sir." Sleet said.
"I don't get it!" Sonic said.
"With a few small changes, this machine will protect you from ever being roboticized." Titus said.
"Like an immunizer!" Sonia said.
"Immunizer? It can't be. Sleet! Order the attack!" Robotnik said.
"Oh yes, sir! My pleasure, sir!" Sleet said.
"Orders." Swatbot said.
"Attack the mansion. Let no one escape!"
"Affirmative. Commencing attack." the Swatbot said and the crowd yelled and panicked.
"Bartleby and Titus! Sonic!" Sonia said.
"Gotcha covered!" Sonic said.
"Sleet, they're getting away!" Dingo said.
"How does that strike ya, bot-butts?" she asked and blew up a ship with her guitar. "Clear! Let's haul some serious haunch!"
"G'oh! You let them all get away?! You incompetent!" Robotnik said.
"But sir, wait, listen! I can find them! Dingo is with them." Sleet said.
"Bring me that inventor! AND THE HEDGEHOGS!"
"This whole thing feels mondo ugly." Sonic said.
"Looked pretty good to me, Sonic." Manic said.
"Yeah, well, I wanna talk to that de-roboticized dude. How'd Titus hook up with him anyway? Oh, man! I hate havin' to think!"
"Do what you gotta do, but Sonia's bought into this big time!"
"I know, so don't tell her!"
"You'll be safe here." Sonia said.
"That was terrifying!" Bartleby said.
"Hey, Bartlebutt, come on! I'll give you a lift home." Sonic said.
"Oh, good! Thanks, Sonic. Meet you back at the safe house." Sonia said.
"By the way, please - don't go so fast this time!" Bartleby said.
"No problemo! We'll take it reeeeaaal slow... NOT!" Sonic said.
"Waaaaaaaah!"
"Yo, what's up, Sonia?" Manic asked.
"Just a moment. Titus? I have some money stashed aside. Would you immunize me?" Sonia said.
"Sonia, are you sure about-"
"Absolutely! I'm going to rescue Lady Windermere whether Sonic likes it or not!"
"Maybe we should talk about this first."
"This way, even if I'm captured, I can't be roboticized! Will you do it? Will ya?!"
"I just need a few hours to refit my machine." Titus said.
"I'll get the money and be back." she said and he chuckled.
"A fool and their money. Well, better make the adjustments. Maybe blue light instead of the rainbow." he said and Dingo flew around him. "Little pest!" he said and tried to squish him. "Nuh!"
Dingo snarled and Titus gasped.
"Er... that's not very nice!" Dingo said.
"Hello. There's someone who wants to meet you!" Sleet said.
"A hoax. Just lights and smoke, no electronics at all!" Robotnik said.
"Just as I told you, I'm sorry, I'll never-" Titus started but was cut off.
"Nothing to apologize for, my friend!"
"Here it is, sir." Sleet said.
"Fr-friend?" Titus said.
"Oh, yes! And you'll remain my friend, if you co-operate." Robotnik said.
"I'll do anything!"
"Good! Because I think your immunizer would make a marvelous roboticizer, don't you?" Robotnik said and laughed.
"What's that?" Accomplice asked.
"Yo, bud! Pull over!" Sonic said.
"And we were making a little money off the aristocracy. It's not like we're hurting anybody!"
"Yeah, sure!" she said and an alarm rang. "Get that, but don't try anything!"
"Titus, what's up?" Accomplice asked.
"Ran into a little problem. Robotnik grabbed me." Titus said.
"What?!"
"It's okay. I made a deal. He's gonna let me off if I roboticize one of the hedgehogs. Soon as it's done, I'm gone."
"Hey, wait a minute! Fleecin' the aristocrats for cash is one thing, but-"
"Just meet me in Tyran, like we planned."
"If anything happens to my family, I'll find you!" Sonic said.
"You sure you wanna do this?" Manic asked.
"No doubts. Let's go!" Sonia said.
"Come in, hedgehogs! It's Cyrus!" Cyrus said.
"As soon as she is roboticized, all units sweep in. I want the other hedgehogs!" Robotnik said.
"Can we get started?" Sonia asked.
"Uh, yeah. Sure. Um, just stand right there." Titus said and she groaned. "I can't do it! No!" he said and barged onto the machine. "Uhh! Argh!"
"Sonia!" Sonic said.
"Over here!" Sonia said.
"You okay?"
"I'm fine, but-"
"Priority one: hedgehogs." Titus said and Manic and Sonia gasped.
"Huh?" Sonic said.
"Hedgehog alert. Hedgehog alert."
"Huh?" they said together.
"Robotnik trap! You up for a spin, Sonia?" Sonic said.
"You guys spin on the north side, I got the south." Manic said.
"Deal!"
"Hedgehog." Titus said.
"Hey!" Manic said.
"Manic!" Sonic said.
"Priority one: Hedgehog." Titus said.
"Hiiii-yah!" Sonia said.
"Thanks, Sonia." Manic said.
"Let's get out of here!"
"NO! I hate those hedgehogs! HATE THEM!" Robotnik said.
Sonic yawned.
"What a workout last night!" she said.
"You're telling me? Uh, guys, I'm sorry about going overboard like that." Sonia said.
"Hey, we all go off sometimes. Heck, Sonic lives there!" Manic said.
"Hey!" Sonic said.
"Hi, hedgehogs! Just wanted to say: great job last night!" Cyrus said.
"Huh?" Sonic and Sonia said.
"How'd ya know?" Sonic asked.
"Ha, are you kidding? It was a great diversion! We emptied the cargo ships without a hitch!" Cyrus said.
"Oh yeah! The diversion for the cargo ships…" Sonia said and they laughed.
