"Destroy them!" Eggman said and the Eggforcers attacked Leader and Nine.

While Nine retreated, Leader Homing Attacks and defeated them easily, with both Doctors evading a sliding heap of robot parts and Nine typed on the computer.

"Thanks for stopping by." Leader said and zipped off as the doors closed.

Sonic had just used her guitar and sending Sleet and Dingo flying.

"Thanks for stopping by!" she said waving and watching them go flying.

Then she came back and shook her head.

'No, I don't have time for a panic attack.' she thought and took a deep breath.

"I've locked the Chaos Council out of the system, but it won't last long." Nine said to Leader.

"Don't tell me we're trapped in here?"

"Are you kidding? This is all going according to my plan."

Suddenly, thudding was heard from outside and they looked to see Babble and his robot.

"I'll get you!" Babble babbled, fired a baby rattle mace at them and they dodged.

"Did you plan for that?" Leader asked Nine annoyed.

"That? No." Nine said.

Babble babbled and kept firing multiple blasts at Leader, who dodged, and carried the shard box with Nine riding on it. It exits the room and headed down a stairway.

"Stop! The Council thinks we're going down..." Nine said and charged Leader's Regulator. "but we are taking a different path." he said and dropped the Regulator Charger down the hole between the long staircase.

"Oh, things are finally coming together. We've got the Shards. We can finally fix everything!" Leader said.

'And with Shadow back and finding where we can fix this it'll work.' she thought.

"It's going to be perfect!"

At Yoke HQ four of the Chaos Council emerge through the door, striking poses, but suddenly realize Leader and Nine aren't there.

"Huh?" they said.

"Where did they go?" Eggman asked and saw the shard generator with no shards, causing him to yelp. "The Shards are gone!"

Babble was still outside of the window and in his mech suit and waved inside to the Council.

"All of your faults!" Babbles babbled.

"What in the name of quiche are you doing out there?!" Done-It asked.

"Quiet, all of you! We have one simple goal... Get the Shards back! Where are they?!" Eggman said and Don't brought out his gadget.

On the screen, the marker moved downwards.

"Uh... it looks like they're headed down to the street." Don't said.

"Divert all the Eggforcers back to the Yoke. We'll crush them the moment they step outside!" Eggman said and the Eggforcers travel down the middle of the long staircase.

"Why aren't they powering down? We have the Shards." Leader said.

"Residual prism energy stored in the Mothership. They're not powering down any time soon." Nine said and they moved out of the vent, noticing one of his vehicles and an Eggforcer.

Nine crawled closer to the vehicle, looked both ways carefully, hopped onto the charger and overcharged the Eggforcers, knocking them down while Leader brought the box in.

"Nine, you are full of surprises." Leader said amused.

"If you like surprises, wait 'til you see what I've got going on in the Grim." Nine said, opened one of the lids, picked up the shard inside and pointed to his vehicle.]

"Grim? Cool, can't wait to hear more! But right now we gotta get to Ghost Hill."

"Ghost Hill?" he said while inside the vehicle putting the gem inside the power unit socket.

"It's got a fourth Shard and this blueprint."

"Blueprint?" he said quietly while the shard box was connected to the vehicle. "That's the key to putting the prism back together!"

"Exactly!"

"How do we get to this Ghost Hill?"

Then they heard metal thudding on the door and two trios of Eggforcers emerge and attack Leader.]

"I'll clear the path, you get the Shards out of here!" Leader said and Nine nodded in agreement.

She spun, dodging weapon fire and defeated all the Eggforcers while Nine prepared his machine. As the entrance door opened Babble warcries and his robot swooped in to block the way, preparing to fire at Leader.

"Ugh! The baby again?!" Leader said and Babble shot several bullets while she spun both ways to dodge them and Homing Attacks his robot.

"Ah!" Babble said as the robot was knocked down, thrown and stopped in-front of the Chaos Council's view.

"What was that about, heading to the street?" Eggman said.

""What was that about, heading to the street?" That's what you sound like." Don't said mockingly and Deep snickered at Don't mocking Eggman.

"Ugh! Deep, Done-It, get the Yolkomotive in the air." Eggman said and they did so as Nine's vehicle got ready for take off and Babble started crying and thrashing about.

Suddenly Leader saw something behind him and prompted Nine.

"Go, go, go!" Leader said and the vehicle swooped upwards.

"Next stop, Prism Blueprint." Nine said and they got an airborne vehicle in the sky heading towards the portal. "The portal shouldn't have been left open this long. They're decaying."

"Do you think we can go through them?"

"I don't trust them, they look unstable." he said, looked at his monitor and went full speed, under threat from three chasing Eggforcers.

There were warning beeps as he steered the vehicle both ways to dodge enemy bullets. It corkscrews to dodge more bullets, impressing Leader.

"Ha-ha! Mess with my best bud, and you get blasted!" Leader said and Nine smiled nervously as the vehicle swooped up to avoid a large cylindrical object, and then corkscrews back down. "Whoo-hoo! That was" she said and rubbed his shoulder roughly. "epic!"

"Yes, it was." Nine said and a cannon-fire from the large tank missed the vehicle as it headed towards the Portal.

Then the airborne tank fired again and scored a direct hit, corkscrewing the vehicle out of control.

"Shit!" she said and he stabilized the vehicle. "Thanks." she said and he nodded.

Meanwhile the Yolkomotive was chasing Nine's vehicle.

"No matter how fast you are, time always catches up. Time, and the Chaos Council…" Deep said.

"Will you just blast them already?!" Done-It asked annoyed.

At New Yoke City, Deep pressed the attack button and the Yolkomotive shot breaking off the enemy's wing, sending the Shattercraft out of control.

"Ugh. We're going down!" Nine said and uring their descent, the Prism Shard box came off. "The Shards." he said and the Shattercraft crash landed onto the road and powered down.

"You okay?" Leader asked.

"The Shatterdrive is down." he said and pointed to his left. "Go get the Shards!" he said and the door opened.

Leader jumped off and sped towards it, while Deep, also going after it, groaned in annoyance and shot bullets at her. She dodged weapon fire and brought the Shard box in and Nine grabbed the Shard he used as a power unit.

"Nine, get down!" Leader said and realized she was also under threat of cannon fire and almost dropped his shard.

"Whoa!" Nine said and hid inside the Shattercraft as it near missed him.

Meanwhile Leader ran and heard the Yolkomotive getting hit by cannon fire. Then she returned the Shard Box to the fallen Shattercraft and saw the Yolkomotive burning in smoke, along with another familiar aircraft still intact.

"All right, Rusty!" she said.

"Who is useless now?" Rusty asked.

"Oh, that traitor will pay for that!" Deep said and retreated with the Yolkomotive while Leader watched it leave, and Nine put the gem back in the box.

"I can get us to the Void." Leader said and more Eggforcers arrive to attack the group. "But right now, we need to move. Come on!" she said and Nine rode on the box as they made a run for it, dodging cannon-fire.

"How can you get us to the Void?" Nine asked.

"Well, while you were gone I practiced Chaos Control and teleportation, while doing that I learned if I run fast enough a portal opens."

"And you've done this lots of times? Turn right!" he said and they turned into a narrow alleyway, but the Eggforcers also made it and kept shooting so he braced himself and squeezed his eyes shut.

"Not exactly lots of times..."

"How many?" he asked. "Make a left." he asserted her.

"Once on purpose, and I wasn't pushing a giant Shard case."

"Turn right!" he said as the Eggforcers kept chasing and attacking them.

"I'll never get up to speed with all these Eggforcers on us! Sorry pal, but I think we're going to have to use one of those portals to escape."

"It's not a good idea. It portals directly into another Shatterspace. They can't be stable." he said and they saw the two Yolkomotives passing through the sky.

"Well, they came through and they're okay." she said and sighed. "But if you say so." She said, focused on her Chaos and took a deep breath. "Chaos Control!" she said and they were gone as three more Eggforcers came, crash and explode.

At the Void a panting Leader, Nine and the Shard box enter the Void, but Leader let go.

"Sonic!" Nine said and Shadow grabbed hold of the Shard Box and confronted him. "Shadow?"

"It's about time." Shadow said and Leader came over to meet them.

"He called me earlier and found a place to get this done." Leader said and Nine nodded. "Come on!" she said and they traveled to the next portal landing at Ghost Hill and explored the place.

"This world, it's like an embryonic Shatterspace, like it got stuck in the blueprint phase while forming." Nine said, stopped and thought. "Hmm. Perhaps it would be useful in finishing the Grim…" he said and Shadow looked on uninterested.

The ground rumbled, causing them all to brace themselves to start flashing.

"What just happened?" Shadow asked.

"Another reality quake. We don't have much time." Nine said.

"We need to hurry. Follow me." Shadow said and he and Leader set off with Nine carrying the Shard Box.

After a moment, they all open a lid each. All three shards of different colors glow inside. The camera cuts to the Paradox Prism, which glowed a pink hue and has gray outlines for the un inserted shards.

"It's finally over. Now we just have to rebuild the prism!" Leader said and got going but Nine stopped her.

"Stop! It's not that simple. The alignment must be perfect. The slightest variation could have massive repercussions. People, places, and things can be ripped from existence. One small mistake, and poof! Reality is changed forever." Nine said and she was frustrated by his decision, admitted defeat and scratched her head.

"Tiny details are not my thing."

"I can do it. I just have to make some calculations."

"How can we help?"

"I need to be left alone to work. No distractions. Too many in a tight space. I don't want anything to go wrong."

"I'll take Sonic outside. Best to keep her away." Shadow said.

"Thanks for putting it together, buddy. This is why we're a great team." Leader said giving Nine a thumbs up.

Nine nodded, high-fived her and they left him alone, waving goodbye to each other except Shadow. Then Nine pushed the shard box closer to the Prism.

"First things first, I've got to stabilize the Shard energy." Nine said.

Meanwhile Shadow and Leader were outside.

"How do you know you can trust him?" Shadow asked.

"Trust is an issue for you, Shadow. That's why you don't have any friends." Leader said.

"I don't think your friend wants the same thing we do."

"Hey, cheer up! We're so close to this all being over! Once Nine rebuilds the Paradox Prism," Leader said and Shadow shook his head slowly at her, believing she was lying. "and Green Hill reforms, everything will finally be back to normal. We did it!" he said, got jump scared by a loud crackling sound and looked towards the portal.

The Chaos Council's vehicle arrived at Ghost Hill and saw Leader; defeated.

"I may have spoken too soon." she said and the rocky cave with the Paradox Prism, appeared on Eggman's monitor.

"A new world, with yet another Shard!" Eggman said and laughed evilly. "Wonderful."
