Hello everyone and Welcome to my new story, Hazbin Potluck! Yes, the writing bug hasn't let go yet and it has actually been fun getting to write again. This one is more lighthearted than my other multi-chapter story so I hope that you will find more fun in it. I will post once a week on Fridays so that way I can have the time to research each recipe. You guys do deserve the best as readers. I do not own Hazbin Hotel or the recipes except for one. The recipes are real so you can enjoy these too!

Charlie called everyone to the lounge one day after noticing tensions were starting up again. Charlie thought that they were getting along after the last time they did the trust exercises. Turns out, living with people that you see every day can get challenging, especially when people want privacy. That kind of trust can be lost fast.

"Alright everyone! I know it's been a while since we did any trust exercises, but it seems like we could a small refresher!" Charlie announced to the group sitting in the lounge. Everyone looked up at the princess of hell, wondering if she remembered what happened how much of disaster it was last time. "And everyone has to participate!" Charlie said, looking mainly at Alastor. "No backing out of this one Al."

"Uh, Charlie? Don't you remember what happened last time?" Angel asked, glancing up at her from his phone. "I'm not getting thrown off another roof." "I agree" said Sir Pentious, glaring at Vaggie, who glared back. "Hey, that's how I was taught to trust people. You learn who will have your back and who doesn't." Vaggie shot back. "Hehe, that was fun! Lots of stabbing!" Nifty laughed. Husk slowly moved away from the little cyclops before asking "What's this plan now? You're not letting Angel pick, are you? Remember the sex dungeon he took us too?"

"That's why I'm planning the exercise this time." Charlie said. "This trust exercise is something that will not only be good for everyone, but it will help in us getting to know everyone a little better and do some bonding."

"What is it that we are doing Babe?" Vaggie asked. "We are going to have a potluck!" Charlie said, jumping up and down excitedly. "Everyone must contribute one dish that we don't already know about. Then, you must explain your dish, where and when you learned it and share one good memory about it." Charlie said. Everyone looked at her, thinking the idea over. "Ssssoooo, you want us all to just have dinner?" Sir Pentious asked, looking a little annoyed at the idea. "Think of it like a dinner party, Pentious. One where you get to show off something from the time you were alive. In this case, it's food." Charlie said.

She looked around, hoping that the others would agree with the idea. "Well Charlie dear, I think it's a fun idea. It'll give me a chance to introduce you to some of my dear mother's other recipes." Alastor said, agreeing. "Sounds fun, but at least one ground rule, no demon flesh." Vaggie agreed, looking at Alastor who just shrugged. "Oh, I like it, Charlie! It sounds like a lot of fun!" Nifty said, jumping up. "Eh, why not?" Angel shrugged, "We don't have any time limits like on those cooking competition shows, do we?" "Nope! You just need to have your dish prepared by dinner." Charlie said, "Do you agree to it too Husk?"

Everyone turned to look at the cat. "What? I'm fine with it. When is this potluck dinner happening?" Husk in turn asked. "It'll happen next Friday. You'll have all this week and next to do your planning, shopping and get everything you need before we do the actual cooking." Charlie answered "Al, on the day of, could we rearrange the kitchen to make it look like a kitchen from the competition cooking show?" Charlie said. "If that is what you desire my dear. Now, I must be off. I have some errands that must be taken care of today." Alastor said, getting up and walking out the door.

Turning back to the others, Charlie said, "Ok everyone! I can't wait to see what all you come up with!" "Wait, if we are making the dishes, what are you going to make?" Angel asked Charlie, getting up and stretching. "I'll be providing the dessert." Charlie answered with a big smile on her face, "Now I'm not saying anything else, otherwise it'll spoil this whole potluck. Can't wait to see what you make!" "Sure, toots. You know you can't tell Vaggie right?" Angel said walking away. "I know. It's gonna be a surprise for her too!" Charlie told Angel.

"Vaggie this is so exciting! I can't wait to see what everyone makes!" Charlie said jumping up and down "And, everyone agreed to it! The trusting has already started!" "Yeah babe, it's going to be fun. We just need to make sure that no one cheats or tries to get out of it." Vaggie said, smiling at her girlfriend. Vaggie turned and headed off to her and Charlie's shared room. "Vaggie, where are you going?" Charlie asked. "Since no one can know what the dish is until next Friday, then I'm going to go write it down and hide it so you can't find it." Vaggie answered. "Ok, have fun!" Charlie waved "Razzle, Dazzle, this is going to be so much fun!" Charlie said excitedly, "Now I need to go plan the dessert!"

Hello! Seems everyone is getting on each other's nerves. Nothing like some good food to get everyone happy again huh? I'm going to try to stick about as close to the times that everyone was alive for each dish that they make. If you enjoyed this chapter, feel free to leave a review. If you don't to that fine. I'm just happy enough that you took your time to read what I wrote. Until then!
