Hey Everyone! Hope you are doing well! Thank you all so much for your comments again. I know that I say that every chapter, but truly, thank you! I hope you all enjoy this chapter! Spoilers... it has lots of Cody and Obi Wan. I thought I did a good job, but let me know! Lots of Love - Lorna :)

Obi Wan had become used to a routine over the last week or two. Vader would ignore him for the most part, coming to spend an hour or two at night in the room, though Obi Wan noticed with slight alarm that he rarely slept in that time. Obi Wan hoped that it was because Anakin was merely sleeping elsewhere but as the shadows crept out from under his Palawan's eyes Obi Wan doubted it. Cody would come in at the odd hours that Vader left and sit with him. Sometimes, when Vader was gone for prolonged periods of time, Cody would switch off with Waxer and Boil. Those two were still almost inseparable, but their friendship felt strained in a way that Obi Wan was unaccustomed too. Professional orders clashing with their true selves. The Empires sterile emotionlessness versus their need for each others comfort. They were even less talkative than Cody, which startled Obi Wan most of all. He suspected that it was because if one of them got going, the other would jin in and then, force forbid, Obi Wan and the clones may actually have a two-way conversation.

Food was provided twice a day at regular intervals now, which Obi Wan was grateful for. Water came from the sink so it was easily available whenever the need arose. Truly, Obi Wan's prison could have been significantly worse, and yet knowing how lucky he was did not change how the walls seemed to close in on him day after day, nor did it ease his mind after long hours spent in silence. Obi Wan's mind screamed for something new, his battle weary mind never able to still. Stillness was something he had grown unaccustomed to and his energy turned into almost relentless movement. He paced until their were marks in the floor. He tapped his foot, his fingers. He knocked on his thigh as he talked and walked.

Waxer and Boil seemed only slightly off-put by the constant movements, but they didn't spend enough time with their former general to truly be concerned. Cody, however, was becoming more than a little concerned. Behind the Empire's mask that they had forced upon him, Cody still cared about Obi Wan, they had been brothers in battle. Cody knew Obi Wan, and he had never seen his general so agitated without the threat of battle hanging over his head.

"General." Cody snapped, to hide both his growing fondness and underlying concern. "You're going to wear a hole in the metal, if you don't sit still."

Oni Wan managed to chuckle, but his mind was still running away with him. Not even the force seemed to be able to quiet his thoughts and action. Obi Wan figured he needed more practice, and yet the thought of sitting still and closing his eyes for something other than the necessity of sleep was unappealing. "Perhaps this is how I plan to escape."

"I'd see the start of the hole long before you would be able to squeeze through it. And there's hundreds of troops on this ship, I think they would probably see you dangling from a hole in some random hallway."

"Perhaps you're right, my plan may not be thought through well." Obi Wan replied stopping his feet, but his finger started to tap silently against his leg.

"General…" Cody sighed, pulling off his helm in exasperation. He knew he wasn't technically supposed to but Vader wasn't to return for hours and it seemed to help Obi Wan to see his face.

"Why do you call me that?" Tap tap tap.

"You were my general, thus that's what I call you."

"The Empire calls me a traitor."tap tap tap tap tap

"Would you rather I call you that?"

Kenobi grinned, but this one was bitter, like biting into an old ration bar. "No."

"Then why are you asking?"

"Curiosity." taptaptaptaptaptaptaptap

Cody didn't reply, but he noted how Obi Wan's movements were getting progressively more aggressive. The tapping had become knocking and, from gentle knocking it had become erratic and Cody wondered if it was getting worse because of the topic.

"General." Cody said, his voice suddenly soft and slightly exasperated. It was so familiar and yet he hadn't spoken like this to someone in a long time. "I'm thirty seconds away from setting my blaster to stun. Sit down, hold still and go meditate. Watching you pace any longer is going to send me to Kix."

Obi Wan chuckled under his breath, but he sat down on the floor. He made no move to meditate though and his movement hadn't stopped.

"General, go meditate, it'll help. It's either that or I get out my blaster and earn a few moments of peace that way."

Obi Wan looked as though he was going to say something, but refrained when Cody set his on hand on his blaster. He was meditating less than a minute later and Cody was grinning as he put his helmet back on.
