Ben Tennyson sets out on an old-school summer vacation road trip like the ones he used to go on when he was younger. Unable to go with his friends and family, Ben finds himself going on this road trip with three female clones of himself. While they all have fun and slowly become a family, a looming threat targets Ben and his new sisters.

4. Chapter 4: Washington PE

Previously

After being attacked by a group of powerful high tech robots in the forest, Ben and the girls were pushed to their limits by these mechanical foes. Ben was separated from the girls and had to deal with swarms of robotic humanoids as well as robotic felines that gave him a run for his money. While Ben dealt with his foes, the girls were struggling to defeat the massive robotic snake that was tossing them around with ease. Nothing the girls did to the robotic snake seemed to effect it as it began to de-transform the girls back into their human forms. Not wanting to fail, the girls finally came up with a plan to defeat the robotic snake which ended up working.

Both Ben and the girls were able to defeat their robotic opponents but each of them were exhausted afterwards. Little did either of them know, they were being watched by the mysterious figure from space who sent those robotic drones after them. For now, the mysterious figure wasn't going to send anymore drones after Ben and the girls but they would be closely monitoring them. Ben had no idea what else was going to happen this summer but his plans weren't shaken as he decided to continue on with his summer road trip with the girls.

Inside The Rustbucket: Campgrounds, Yosemite National Park

After defeating the robotic drones and getting back to the campground, Ben and the girls had caught their breath and tried to relax. Ben had praised the girls for their teamwork in dealing with the robotic snake and figured that they were ready to train using each of their own omnitrix. While the girls were excited about that, Ben now had to deal with who or what sent those robotic drones after him and the girls. With the damaged core from the robotic snake and the pieces of the robotic felines he recovered, he sent them to the Plumber HQ, hoping they'd be analyzed and he'd get answers.

While that was happening, Ben began deciding if it was best to keep going on this summer road trip with the threat of more robotic drones coming after him and the girls. He saw how capable they were but he also saw the damage that robotic snake did to them. Iris had scars on her back and chest from where the robotic snake had stabbed her while she was in her Kinceleran form. Lilly also had stab wound scars on her chest from where the robotic snake had also stabbed her with its blade tail. Even Ben himself had scars all over his body from his fight with the robotic humanoids and robotic felines.

Ben had multiple scars all over his body as well as one going across his left eye, leaving it a pale white and no longer green like his right eye. He also had scars going down his left arm and hand as well as across his chest. Seeing that these robotic drones were able to damage not only him but the girls as well while transformed and the damage carry over to their human form made him worry even more.

Ben remembered back when he was 10 and constantly had to face off against drones that Vilgax had sent after him while he, Gwen and Max were on their summer road trip. Vilgax's drones were nothing like these ones but Ben decided that it would be better for the girls if they kept going. Of course if things got way worse, Ben would end things right there and head home with the girls. For now he was going to wait and see what information he could get on these drones as well as see how the girls were doing.

Right now, Ben was in the Rustbucket while the girls were outside cleaning up the campsite before they left for the next stop on their summer road trip. While they were doing that, Ben was talking with a hologram of his partner and friend, Rook Blonko who had some information on the drones.

"From the core that you recovered, I can tell that this drone as well as the other drones that you faced, they are of a tech level 18" the hologram of Rook tells Ben

"The omnitrix is a tech level 20 device, I've never heard of anything else coming close to it before" Ben said

"The Plumbers don't have much information on these types of drones which is also perplexing" the hologram of Rook said

"So you guys got nothing?" Ben asks Rook

"Unfortunately we do not but fear not, I will send this information to the Magistrata and the higher ups to see what they know" the hologram of Rook answers

"Thanks Rook, I appreciate you taking time away from your family to help me out" Ben says to the hologram of Rook, thanking him

"Do not mention it Ben, besides, Rayona and our young ones are having an exciting time with the summer harvest this year" the hologram of Rook says to Ben

"Well, you better get out there and have some fun with them, if any more drones attack me and the girls, I make sure to gather more parts for analysis" Ben says to the hologram of Rook

"I thank you and if I receive more information on these drones, I will contact you immediately" the hologram of Rook says to Ben

"Thanks Rook" Ben says, thanking the hologram of Rook before hanging up the call

As Ben ended the call with Rook, he sat down and let out a sigh

"What am I going to do now?" Ben asks himself with an annoyed sigh

Those robotic drones threw a wrench in his summer plans with the girls, making things difficult and more dangerous

"And here I was hoping for a normal summer, guess that was never in the cards to begin with" Ben says to himself with a shrug

At that moment the girls entered the Rustbucket, closing the door behind them

"We're all done Ben" Iris tells Ben

"The cleanup is all done" Lilly says

Ben looks out the window of the Rustbucket and sees that the campsite is all clean and ready for whoever comes next

"Where are we going now?" Rose asks Ben

"Yeah, where are we going next big brother?" Lilly asks Ben

"Honestly girls, I was thinking about heading back home" Ben tells the girls

"WHAT!?!" All three of the girls asks Ben in disbelief

"Those drones were really dangerous and left some damage not only to me but you as well and as your guardian it's my responsibility to keep you safe, so I think I'm gonna take you back home to Bellwood" Ben tells the girls

"But this summer road trip just started for us" Iris says

"Please don't take us back" Lilly begs Ben as Mutt whimpers at him

"We defeated those drones so there's nothing to worry about" Rose tells Ben

"Yeah, we did defeat those drones but who knows when more will come after us and after seeing what they are capable of, I'm worried about your safety" Ben tells the girls

"You don't need to worry" Iris tells Ben

"We can take care of ourselves" Rose tells Ben

"Please Ben, can we keep going?" Lilly asks Ben, begging him with Mutt and the other girls

Ben looks at the girls and sees that they all want to keep going on the summer road trip despite the threat of more drones attacking them. Ben thought about it long and hard and after seeing the determination of the girls, he gave in and made a decision.

"Fine, we'll continue on with our summer road trip but the moment things get to a point where even I can't handle things, we are heading back to Bellwood" Ben tells the girls

The girls all cheer excitedly as Mutt let's out a happy bark, jumping up and down on the table

"Alright, calm down" Ben tells the girls

"So big brother, where are we going next?" Lilly asks Ben

"Yeah Ben, where are we going next?" Iris asks Ben

"I guess our next stop is going to be Washington D.C" Ben answered, telling the girls where they were going next

MegaMart: Washington D.C

Walking down the many isles of the MegaMart Super Store, Ben was shopping for things that he and the girls would need for their long summer road trip together. Walking down the pet supply isle, Ben was followed by Iris and Lilly.

"Do you want to get Mutt anything Lilly?" Ben asks Lilly as he pushes the cart down the isle

"I can get Mutt something?" Lilly asks Ben confused

"Yeah, you can get him toys, treats or anything else you think he'll need" Ben answers

"Are you sure you can afford stuff for Mutt?" Lilly asks Ben

"Trust me, I'm sure" Ben answers with a grin on his face

Lilly then nodded her head and began to look around the isle for things to get for Mutt

"Are you sure it's okay for you to be walking around in public like this?" Iris asks Ben

"Trust me, I'm sure it's fine" Ben answered

Ben was a universe known hero and everywhere he went he was surrounded by fans as well as those who didn't like him, like Will Harangue

"While those drones may have been a problem for us they did leave me a bit scarred up and it looks like people don't remember me with them" Ben said as he held his hand over his scarred, cloudy white eye

"I guess you are right about that, it doesn't look like anyone recognizes you" Iris said as she looked around the store at the people shopping

"By the way, where is Rose?" Ben asks Iris, looking around for Rose

"I think she's in the electronics isle" Iris said

"I thought she was in a different isle" Ben said

The two then realized that they didn't know where Rose was and knowing the kind of person she was, it was best that she wasn't alone

"I'll go left, you go right" Ben tells Iris

"Got it, I'll come find you if I find her first" Iris tells Ben

And with that, both Ben and Iris went off to locate Rose before she ended up getting into trouble

MegaMart: Washington D.C

While Ben and Iris went off to find Rose, Lilly stayed behind in the pet isle and continued to grab items for Mutt. Lilly grabbed a special brush, a bottle of shampoo and conditioner for Mutt as well as a special dog toothbrush and toothpaste.

"That does it for hygiene stuff, I should probably get Mutt some toys" Lilly said to herself as she walked further down the isle

As Lilly went to go and look for toys for Mutt, she stopped in front of some cages with all types of animals in it from birds to hamsters as well as frogs and lizards

"Hello there little ones" Lilly says to the animals with a smile on her face

All of the animals make noises as Lilly looks at all of them

"I am sorry but I can't take you with me, I already have a pet of my own, his name is Mutt" Lilly tells the animals

Lilly could see that the animals were disappointed after she had said that

"Don't worry, I'm sure that all of you will find your forever home, you just have to be patient" Lilly tells the animals, cheering them up

Seeing that the animals were feeling much better now, made Lilly feel better too

"Well, I have to go now, good luck to all of you" Lilly tells the animals before she turns to the leave

Before Lilly could leave, she accidentally bumped into someone, causing her to drop her basket with all of the items in it

"Not good, I am sorry for bumping into you" Lilly tells the person she bumped into, apologizing to them

Lilly bent down and went to pick up the basket and all of the items that fell out of it

"Let me help you with that, little one" the person Lilly bumped into said as they bent down and help her pick everything up

Lilly could now see that the person she bumped into was an old woman with short silver hair and purple eyes

"Thank you" Lilly tells the old woman, thanking her

"Don't mention it kiddo, I was just taken back at how you could speak to the animals" the old woman tells Lilly

"You saw that?" Lilly asks the old woman with an embarrassed look on her face

"I did and I must say I am impressed with such a talent" the old woman answered, making Lilly feel less embarrassed

Lilly didn't know why but she could feel a strange energy around this old woman but couldn't place her finger on why that was

"Have you always been able to communicate with animals?" The old woman asks Lilly

"For a long time now I could tell what animals were thinking and how they felt before I could hear their voices and respond back to them" Lilly said, explaining her gift to the old woman

"I see, I think you've got a real spark kiddo" the old woman tells Lilly with a smile on her face

"Really?" Lilly asks the old woman

"Definitely and who knows, maybe with a little time and practice you could do other things" the old woman answers

Lilly was excited to hear that but wondered what the old woman meant by being able to do "other things". Lilly went to ask the old woman what she meant by that but when she looked up, the old woman was gone.

"Huh, I wonder where she went" Lilly said to herself with a confused look on her face

With the old woman gone, Lilly continued on her way to get toys for Mutt to play with

"I'll tell big brother Ben and the others about what happened later" Lilly said to herself with a shrug before she continued shopping

MegaMart: Washington D.C

Ben had separated from Iris as they went to search for the missing Rose who was somewhere by herself in the store

"I've got to find her before she does something stupid" Ben said to himself as he looked down each isle he walked by

Ben was able to trust Iris and Lilly on their own because of how mature they acted but Rose was the opposite of that. From the time Ben had spent with Rose, he could tell that she was going to be exactly like him when he was younger. Ben remembered all the trouble he caused when he was 10 with the omnitrix and knew that if he didn't look after her, Rose could cause the same trouble. Ben even remembered what happened the last time he came to D.C and this store when his old enemy Dr. Animo attacked with his giant mutant frog.

"I doubt that will happen but I better find her before something does happen" Ben said to himself as he continued his search

Eventually, Ben went down the furniture isle and saw Rose sitting down on a massaging chair with headphones on and a music player in her lap. Seeing that she wasn't causing trouble was a relief to Ben but he did want to know where she got the headphones and device. Ben then walked over to Rose and stood in front of her until she noticed that he was standing in front of her.

"Hey Ben" Rose said as she paused her music and took her headphones off

"You had me and your sister worried for a minute there" Ben tells Rose

Immediately, Rose knew what Ben was trying to talk to her about

"You and Iris don't have to worry about me in public, I already know I'm not supposed to use the omnitrix in public, you should also know that I'm not one to make a fool out of myself around people" Rose tells Ben

"You just make other people look foolish?" Ben asks Rose

"Exactly" Rose answers, snapping her fingers and pointing at Ben

Ben let out a mental sigh as he stood there

"Where'd you get the headphones and music player?" Ben asks Rose

"I won them" Rose answers as she puts her headphones back on

"Doing what?" Ben asks Rose as he takes the headphones off of her head

"I won them by guessing what certain materials were and what they were made of as well as the energy used to make them" Rose answered, explaining how she won the headphones and music player

Looking at Rose, Ben couldn't tell if she was lying or not and if she looked like someone who could naturally guess stuff like that correctly

"Did you have help with a little Galvan intelligence?" Ben asks Rose

"No, I just naturally know stuff like that, like I can see every atom and molecule as well as energy in general" Rose answered with a shrug

"Huh" Ben said

Ben couldn't believe and it looked like Rose was telling the truth

"Since you didn't cheat, I guess you can keep them" Ben tells Rose

"Cool" Rose says as she leans back in the massaging chair and resumes listening to music

"I better go find the other girls" Ben says to himself as he walks away and leaves Rose by herself

Reflection Pond: Washington D.C

After leaving the MegaMart, Ben took the girls around all of Washington D.C and showed them around all of the monuments. He took them to see the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument as well as showed them the front of the White House and other important locations. It had been a few hours since then and now Ben was having lunch with the girls next to the Reflection Pond.

"So where are we going next?" Iris asks Ben as she eats her sandwich

"Yeah, where are we going next?" Rose asks

Ben pulls out his phone and checks to see what time it is

"I was actually thinking about taking us to go and see the Smithsonian before it closes" Ben said, telling the girls what he thought about taking them to do next

"Isn't that the really large museum with everything in it?" Lilly asks Ben

"It is, it got lots of cool things and even has an exhibit on how alien races inspired human cultures on Earth" Ben answered sounding excited

"I didn't think you were into that history stuff" Rose says

"Don't make fun of him" Iris tells Rose, elbowing her in the side

"Ouch, I wasn't making fun of him" Rose said as she rubbed her side in pain

"Don't worry, I wasn't insulted or anything" Ben says to Iris

"See" Rose says, sticking her tongue out at Iris as she continues to rub her side in pain

"What made you interested in history?" Lilly asks Ben

"I'd like to know as well" Iris said, wanting to know why Ben was interested in history

"Same" Rose said, also wanting to know

"Well my ex-girlfriend Kai, was interested in history and ancient stuff and I guess I got interested in it through her so we could have something in common and I just never lost interest in it" Ben explained to the girls with a shrug

"I see" Iris said

"There's plenty of fish in the sea, her loss" Rose said with a shrug as she went to listen to her music

Talking about Kai didn't bother Ben as much as it used to like back when the first broke up but now Ben was glad to see that his new sisters cared about him and were there for him

"We better get going so eat up" Ben tells the girls as he finishes eating his lunch

"Okay" all three girls said as they continued to eat

While the girls finished their lunch, Ben was thinking about what he was going to do for dinner before they left D.C and headed for the next stop on their road trip. While Ben was doing that, he began to notice that it was starting to get colder for some reason even though the weather was supposed to be 75 all day today.

"Hey Ben" Rose said, getting Ben's attention

"What is it Rose?" Ben asked Rose

"Quick question, is it supposed to be snowing?" Rose asked Ben

Ben was confused by Rose's question till he looked up at the sky and white clouds as snowflakes began to fall

"Not to my knowledge" Ben answered with a confused look on his face

"Its getting colder and colder" Iris said as she began to shiver

"Why is it snowing?" Lilly asked as she tried to warm herself up

"I don't know but it can't be good" Ben said as he watched it continue to snow

The more it snowed, the more the temperature dropped as people all over began to shiver and get cold as they confusingly had no idea what was going on

"Hey Ben, I think I know what's causing the weird weather" Rose tells Ben

"You do?" Ben asks Rose

"Yeah, pretty sure it's him" Rose answered, pointing towards the Reflection Pond

Ben turned around and saw something incredibly surprising as a man was walking on top of the water of the Reflection Pond. The man had pale white skin and silver eyes with bright blue eyes and visible blue veins. The man also wore a high tech armored suit around his body and with each step he took with his bare feet, the water in the Reflection Pond froze.

"That doesn't look good" Ben said

The strange looking man then suddenly fired two white beams from his hands up into the air which caused the snow to stop as large pieces of ice started to fall from the sky

"You worthless people shall witness the power of Absolute Zero" the strange man said with an evil laugh as he continued to fire more beams of freezing energy from his hands

"Yeah, that really isn't good" Ben said with a gulp

The strange man now known as Absolute Zero stepped off of the now frozen Reflection Pond and started attacking people, freezing them in ice with his ice beams

"Ben, we've got to do something" Iris says as more people are frozen by Absolute Zero

"I know that" Ben replied

"What do we do?" Lilly asked with a worried look on her face

"Isn't it obvious? We fight" Rose answered with a grin on her face as she rushed out to face off against Absolute Zero

"Rose, WAIT!!!" Ben yelled, trying to stop Rose but it was too late

Rose quickly activated her omnitrix and selected an alien before confronting Absolute Zero

"Hey Frosty the Snow Man" Rose said, getting Absolute Zero's attention

"Oh my, it looks like you are voluntarily wanting my gift of a frozen eternity" Absolute Zero said, unimpressed with Rose

"Actually Jack Frost, I'm here to kick your butt" Rose told Absolute Zero before she slammed her omnitrix dial down before becoming engulfed in a bright green light

As Rose was engulfed in the bright green light from her omnitrix, she was transformed into the alien that she had selected. Absolute Zero had no idea what he was seeing before he was hit in the chest and knocked backwards by a barrage of crystal shards. As the green light faded away, it was revealed that Rose had transformed into her own Petrosapien form (Diamondhead) which looked like a more feminine and slimmer version of Ben's own 10 year old Petrosapien form but with a brighter crystalline body.

"That's only a taste of Gemstone's power" Rose said, bragging as her hands returned to normal

"It looks like this one is going to need a little bit more effort from me" Absolute Zero said as he recovered

"Bring it on snow cone, you're going down either way" Rose said as she morphed her hands into crystal blades

"I will freeze every molecule in your body" Absolute Zero said with a serious look on his face as he began to charge up a powerful attack

Before Absolute Zero could fire off his attack, a gelatinous red orb of goo came out of nowhere and hit him in the chest

"What?" Absolute Zero asked confused

All of a sudden, Absolute Zero's body started to be burned by the red gelatinous goo orb stuck to his chest before it exploded in flames

"My armor, nothing can melt it" Absolute Zero said as he saw that the armor around his body was heavily damaged

"That wasn't me" Rose said with a confused look on her face

"It was me and the next time I tell you to wait, you need to listen to me" a voice said to Rose

Rose turned around and saw Ben standing there, transformed into a humanoid alien who's body was made of a gelatinous substance surrounded by a gray shell with half of his body being red and the other half of it being blue with the omnitrix badge on his waist

The alien that Ben had transformed into was his Shotodian transformation that he called, Thermosplat

"I never expected to encounter Ben 10 here" Absolute Zero said as his armored body slowly began to repair itself

"Luckily I was here when you decided to show up or this could have ended badly for the people here" Ben said

"It matters not, all of you will meet a beautiful frozen death" Absolute Zero said as the air around him began to get colder and colder

Everything around Absolute Zero began to freeze and turn into ice, Ben could tell that the icy villain was charging up a powerful attack

"Rose and I will hold him off while you two transform" Ben tells Iris and Lilly

"Will do" Iris said

"You can count on me big brother" Lilly tells Ben

"Good, now hurry" Ben tells the girls before he runs off to deal with Absolute Zero with Rose

While Ben and Rose were dealing with Absolute Zero, Iris and Lilly began to select the aliens that they wanted to transform into to help Ben and Rose

"I've got mine" Iris said as she found the alien she wanted to transform into

"So do I" Lilly said as she also found the alien that she wanted to transform into

"Let's do this then" Iris said with a grin on her face

As both girls found the alien that they wanted to transform into, they selected them as the dial of each of their omnitrix popped up. Slamming the dials down, the girls were then engulfed in a bright green light as they were transformed into the aliens that they selected. When the green light faded away, it was revealed that Iris had transformed into her own Pyronite form (Heatblast) which looked like a skinnier and more feminine version of Ben's own 10 year old Pyronite transformation. Lilly had transformed into her own Arburian Pelarota form (Cannonbolt) which looked like a smaller and more feminine version of Ben's own 10 year old Arburian Pelarota transformation.

"SOLAR FLARE!!!" Iris yelled, calling out the name she had given her transformation

"Guess I'll call this form, WRECKING BALL!!!" Lilly said, calling out the name she had given her transformation

The now transformed girls looked over and saw that both Ben and Rose were having a hard time dealing with Absolute Zero. Rose's attacks didn't seem to damage the armor around Absolute Zero's body and Ben's heated gel attacks didn't seem to have any effect against the ice that Absolute Zero was creating.

"We have to help them" Lilly said

"How do we do that?" Iris asked

Lilly looked at how Absolute Zero was attacking and saw that his armor was allowing him to fire those freezing energy beams and emit all of the freezing energy from his body

" If we manage to destroy his armor, he won't be able to attack anymore" Lilly tells Iris

Looking at Ben and Rose fighting Absolute Zero, Iris could see that Lilly was right

"Okay, that might work but how do we get close enough to him?" Iris asked Lilly

"Leave that to me" Lilly tells Iris

Ben and Rose were both knocked backwards by a massive glacier that Absolute Zero formed and threw at them. Before Absolute Zero could throw another one at them, Iris stepped forwards and blasted Absolute Zero with a powerful torrent of flames. Iris's flames hit Absolute Zero and slowly started to melt his armor as it tried to repair itself.

"Thanks for the save" Ben said, thanking Iris

"Man, that was a close one" Rose said with a sigh of relief

"That won't stop him for long, his armor is fixing itself too quickly" Iris tells Ben and Rose

The two look over and see that Iris was right as Absolute Zero's armor was slowly fixing itself and repairing the damage done to him

"How are we going to stop this guy?" Rose asks with an annoyed sigh

"Lilly has got a plan" Iris says

"She does?" Ben asks

"Yeah, I'm gonna charge full speed at him with a boost from Iris's flames" Lilly says

"I don't think your shell well be able to damage him even with a speed boost" Ben says

"That's why I'm going to need Rose to form some crystal armor on me with you also putting both a good amount of fire and ice gel on that armor" Lilly tells Ben

"The force of the impact along with the rapid heating and cooling would shatter his armor" Rose said

Both Iris and Lilly gave Rose a confused look as she said that

"Don't look at me like that, I know stuff too" Rose said, sounding offended

"Never mind that, let's get Lilly's plan going" Ben told the girls

"Plan all you want, there is nothing you can do to stop me" Absolute Zero said, getting their attention

The four of them looked over and saw that Absolute Zero was rising to the air on a massive ice pillar that he was creating as a miniature blizzard started to form above him. Large blocks of ice started falling from the sky as frozen lightning bolts struck the ground and froze everything they touched. Ben could see a bright blue gemstone in the center of Absolute Zero's armor and realized that it was probably keeping his armor together and powered up.

"Aim for the blue gemstone in the center of his chest, that's his armor's core" Ben tells Lilly

"Got it" Lilly said as she rolled up into a ball

"Here goes nothing" Rose said as she formed a crystal armor around Lilly

Ben then put large amounts of blue and red gel on the crystal armor as Iris stood behind Lilly and hit her with a massive explosion of flames that sent her rocketing towards the ice pillar Absolute Zero had created

"Up we go" Rose said as she formed a crystal ramp for Lilly to use to reach Absolute Zero

"You will not stop me" Absolute Zero said as he saw Lilly coming straight at him

Absolute Zero tried to stop her by throwing ice bolts and firing ice beams at her but both Ben, Rose and Iris protected her by intercepting the attacks

"Try all you want but this won't stop me" Absolute Zero said, undeterred

"We'll just see about that" Lilly said

Absolute Zero tried one more time to stop Lilly but with another boost from Iris's flames, she was able to break through the ice shield that Absolute Zero formed. As Lilly hit Absolute Zero in the chest with her body, the blue and red gel on her crystal armor started rapidly heating up and cooling Absolute Zero's armor. The influx of temperatures caused Absolute Zero's armor to become extremely brittle and with the added force of Lilly, shattered the armor and sent Absolute Zero crashing into the ground.

"No, this can't be" Absolute Zero said as his body hit the ground, creating a small crater

With Absolute Zero defeated, the weather returned to normal and all of the ice shattered into pieces, disappearing. The people who were frozen were immediately freed from the ice and looked as though they weren't harmed.

"We did it" Iris said, celebrating

"Yeah we did" Rose said

"I can't believe that worked" Lilly said

"All three of you did a good job, I'm proud of you" Ben told the girls

All four of them then transformed back into their human forms as the authorities began to arrive and arrest the defeated Absolute Zero. They threw the frozen villain in a special containment unit that would keep him cold but wouldn't be able to be destroyed if he tried to escape.

"Let's get going" Ben said

"Yeah, I kinda want to head out too" Rose said

"What about the museum?" Lilly asked

"I guess we can still do that" Ben said

"Hey Lilly, what's that in your pocket?" Iris asks Lilly

"This?" Lilly asks as she takes out the item in her pocket

The thing that Lilly was holding looked like the damage core of Absolute Zero's armor

"That's the armor's core" Iris said

"I guess it is" Lilly said

"Looks like you got a souvenir from your first fight" Ben said, patting Lilly on the head

"I did?" Lilly asked

"Yep, you sure did" Iris answered, smiling

"Hey, I want a souvenir too" Rose said, pouting

"You can get one when you defeat the next villain, it was Lilly's plan and she was the one who took him out so she gets it" Iris tells Rose

"If there is a next time, I hope the rest of this summer goes smoothly" Ben said with a sigh

"Me too" Lilly says, agreeing with Ben

"We better hurry before the museum closes" Iris says

"Yeah, I want to check out all the mummies and dead stuff" Rose said

"Gross" Iris said with a disgusted sound

"Whatever, you want to check out all of the boring stuff anyways" Rose tells Lilly

"The aerospace exhibits are not boring" Iris tells Rose

The two then begin to argue about what was and wasn't boring in the museum and what they were going to check out first

"This really is going to be a very long summer" Ben said to himself with a sigh as the two girls arguing reminded him of when he and his cousin Gwendolyn were 10 years old

"I can't wait to see what else we are going to do this summer" Lilly said with an excited look on her face as she held the armor core in her hand tightly

"Same here" Ben said as he pat Lilly on the head, causing her to giggle

The day had been saved and the new ice age the frozen villain, Absolute Zero wanted to create had been stopped by Ben and the girls who successfully worked together as a team. With their combined powers, Absolute Zero stood no chance and is now bring sent off to prison. The summer isn't over yet which means there is still plenty of more things for Ben to do with the girls before it ends. Let's hope that their next destination doesn't have anything dangerous for them to deal with.

Author's Note

Hello there readers, it's SJMS09 and here is the 4th chapter of Road Trip, I hope that all of you enjoyed it and are ready for what is going to happen in the next chapter. Ben and the girls have successfully defeated their first villain together on their summer road trip. I hope you readers liked Absolute Zero and want to see more of him as well as other new villains that will show up in future chapters. While I don't want to spoil anything, I will say that in the next chapter you readers are going to see a familiar face. I'm not going to say who it is but I do want to see who you readers think the familiar face is going to be. I know this chapter is coming out today on Saturday instead of Tuesday like the schedule says but a lot happened for me this week and a major storm knocked out my power and shut my internet off.

I know I said that I was going to keep updating chapters for this story on Tuesday but I'm not Mother Nature and I can't exactly control the weather. But it looks like the storm has passed and everything is working again so, there will be a new chapter for this story on Tuesday, next week. With all of that out of the way, in this chapter you got to see Ben transform into his first OC alien, Thermosplat from the InkTank's 5YL series. You'll get to see more OC aliens as the story continues as well as other transformations. For the girls, you got to see them use another one of their transformations, their Pyronite (Heatblast) Petrosapien (Diamondhead) and Arburian Pelarota (Cannonbolt) forms in this chapter. I'm still looking for names for the remaining transformations and I wouldn't mind suggestions from you readers. If you have any ideas for names, please leave them in the comments and I might use them.
