Stitched Kitsune: Chapter 23

Outside the Hokage Tower: With Naruto

Naruto was wearing a black hoodie, ski mask, pants, sandals and gloves as he waited in a tree outside the Hokage tower 'Ok from what the info said the scroll will be in the south east corner of the tower' Naruto thought as he walked up to the wall of the tower.

Naruto looked around to see if there were any sentries and saw that there were none; Naruto reached into his pockets and produced two climbing claws 'can't risk using chakra' Naruto thought as he put them on. Naruto began to climb up the wall slowly and quietly; Naruto was making slow but steady progress as he aimed to reach the top of the tower before working his way down 'slow and steady Naruto; just like how Roga taught you' he thought.

Naruto reached the top of the tower about thirty minutes later and looked around not seeing anyone 'alright time to make my move' Naruto thought as he went to the door leading to a stair case. When he reached it he scanned it; Naruto saw a locking seal on it and scanned it 'ok lets see' Naruto thought as he reached into his pouch and took out a note book. Naruto opened it and it revealed a multitude of premade seals.

'Fire, locking, privacy barrier… aha' Naruto thought as he found the unlocking seal and tore it out 'thank you Karin; you're a life savior' Naruto thought as he placed the seal on the locking seal. The unlocking seal began to sizzle before burning away both seals; Naruto smirked as he turned the door knob and was greeted by a long hallway with no light 'got my entrance' he thought as he quietly snuck in.

Naruto walked down the hallways looking at each door 'mission room, messenger hawk room; where the hell is the vault' he thought as he continued to walk. Just then Naruto heard a noise and ducked behind a corner; 2 chunin were walking by making their rounds as they conversed.

"So who you betting on for the finals" one chunin said "I'm going with the Uchiha; apparently the strongest in his generation" he said and the other scoffed.

"I doubt that" said the other "I'm going with the red head from Suna; I have a funny feeling he's going to wipe the floor with everyone" he said. Both chunin walked by Naruto not seeing him due to his dark clothing.

'Dumbasses' Naruto thought as he walked down the hallway where they just came from.

Outside the Hyuga compound: With Haku

Haku was in a tree looking at the Hyuga compound examining the patrols roaming around; Haku knew that this wan't going to be easy as the guards had their Byakugan activated. Haku decided to bypass them and look around for a way of entry; Haku then saw what she was looking for, and open garden that was barely lit.

Haku made a hand sign and made a ice mirror behind her and went in; Haku used her ice mirror to take her to the garden where she landed in a crouch and the ice mirror melted. Haku crawled on the ground before she reached the entrance to the manor.

'Ok i got in; now i got to find their library' Haku thought as she began to sneak through the compound; nearly everyone was asleep except for a few sentries outside the walls of the compound. As Haku snuck through the halls she heard a noise from her left; Haku saw a young Hyuga girl with long brown hair rubbing her eyes.

"Huh" Hanabi said as her eyes focused before she realized what was going on "In-" Hanabi began but was stopped when she was hit in the neck by 2 senbon by Haku. Hanabi fell backwards but Haku was able to catch her before she fell; Haku quickly took her back into the room and put her in her bed.

'I'm sorry about that's Haku said as she pulled out the senbon; Haku then looked down and saw that Hanabi had peed her pants 'oh, so she was going to the restroom' Haku thought as she began to remove Hanabi's bottoms. 'Well it's the least i can do to apologize' Haku thought; Haku quickly changed Hanabi's underwear and pants before leaving the room and continuing her mission. Haku walked through the halls before she stumbled on a door with a pad lock.

'This must be the library' Haku thought as she checked the lock; Haku lifted her mask began to charge her lungs with chakra. Haku blew freezing cold air onto the lock icing it over; Haku then snapped the lock and put it in her pocket. Haku entered the room and closed the door; Haku looked around and saw dozens upon dozens of scrolls 'found it' she thought as she began to scan the scrolls.

Haku began to grab advanced scrolls on Taijutsu, the Byakugan and other Hyuga techniques; as she grabbed over a dozen scrolls she spotted a single scroll on a table. Haku went over and picked it up and read the label.

'To Hitomi Hyuga from Kushina Uzumaki' Haku read before going wide eyed 'Uzumaki; could she be related to Naruto' Haku thought as she pocketed the scroll. Haku scanned around and grabbed a few more scrolls before taking one last look '24 scrolls; hopefully this can help Hinata' she thought.

Haku created a ice mirror and walked inside before it shattered leaving no trace that she was there.

With Naruto

Naruto was in front of the scroll and archive vault with 2 unconscious anbu by his side; Naruto using his threads was able to choke and subdue the anbu and was now using his ears to crack the vault combination lock.

Naruto was turning the dial listening for clicks as he tried to figure out the code; as he turned the combination one more time he heard a final click 'sweet' Naruto thought as he pulled the vault upon and went inside. Sitting in the middle of the room there was a giant scroll 'I guess this is the sacred scroll' Naruto thought as he grabbed it and slung it over his shoulder; Naruto pulled out his scroll and opened it producing a replica scroll and placing it down.

'Alright now to find my file' Naruto said as he began looking around 'I was this villages jinchuriki; so they must have a file of some kind on me' he thought as he began to scour the dozens of scrolls 'Uchiha, Uchiha, Uchiha… Uzumaki' Naruto thought as he grabbed the scroll.

'Huh… Mito Uzumaki' Naruto thought as he pocketed it 'Kushina Uzumaki… fine I'll take it…. ah Naruto Uzumaki' Naruto thought as he grabbed it.

Naruto opened it and began to read 'Top Secret, Naruto Uzumaki, Status: Unknown/declared deceased, age: 12 or 13 (if alive), Jinchuriki of the 9 tails, Parents: Kushina Uzumaki (mother) and Minato Namikaze (Father)' Naruto read 'so Kushina is my mother' he thought as he looked at the scroll he grabbed. 'Lets see if i can find my dad' Naruto thought as he began to scan around 'Nara, Nara… damn no Namikaze' Naruto thought until he noticed 4 scrolls with pictures under them.

'Huh; who are these guys' Naruto thought as he began to walk over ' Hashirama Senju, Tobirama Senju, Hiruzen Sarutobi…. Minato Namikaze' he read as he looked at the picture of the blonde hair blued eyed man. 'No way; the fourth Hokage is my father' Naruto thought as he reached out a shaky hand and grabbed the scroll and picked it up; Naruto pocketed it and began to walk out as he did he placed to tags on the unconscious anbu as the seals burned into their skin.

'When you wake up you won't remember a thing' Naruto thought as he closed and locked the vault before sneaking away just as the Anbu began to wake up.

With Hinata and Sakura

Hinata was sitting on Sakura's bed mortified at what she just heard; over the past hour her and Sakura have been talking and Sakura just told Hinata what happened during her graduation test. Sakura had a look that was a mixture of sadness, anger and disgust as she fought back her tears.

"- and after they were done they just left me there" Sakura said as she clenched her fists "i can still taste it in my mouth no matter how many times i brush my teeth" she said.

"T-they assaulted you" Hinata said and Sakura nodded "all three" she said and Sakura nodded again.

"The only people who know are those three, Anko sensei and now you" Sakura said "I-I fell so dirty because of it" she said as she began to cry. Hinata went in and wrapped Sakura into a hug.

"I'm sorry Sakura" Hinata said with tears flowing down her cheeks "I'm sorry I didn't help you" she said and Sakura sniffed.

"It's fine" Sakura said "you're lucky" she said making Hinata confused. "You got to escape this hell hole" Sakura said as she curled into a ball "I'm stuck here, I have to watch my back every second of every day" she said.

Hinata clenched her fists and looked at Sakura "I-I" Hinata stuttered until she gained her composure "when the finals happen, there will be a lot of people in Konoha" Hinata said. "You can sneak out in the crowd" she said and Sakura looked at her with sadness in her eyes.

"I don't know; I don't think i can" Sakura said "just promise me that you'll see me one more time before you leave again" Sakura said and Hinata nodded.

"I promise" Hinata said as she hugged Sakura "I have to go; stay safe and train hard" Hinata said as she left from the window.

Sakura got up and walked to the window closing it 'You're also lucky because you have Niku on your team' Sakura thought 'I can just tell he's not like the others' Sakura thought as she smiled at the thought.

Konoha countryside (2 hours later): With Hinata

Hinata was running through the woods so she can meet at the rally point where Naruto and the others were waiting; as she ran through the woods she heard a loud crash.

'What was that' Hinata thought as she ran in the direction; as she ran she found Haku and Roga with a look of horror on their faces while Naruto was a few yards away.

"Motherfuckers" Naruto shouted as he punched another tree shattering it "they did that to me, my own fucking father, fuck him" Naruto shouted as he picked up a boulder and threw it.

Hinata ran next to Haku and Roga and spoke "what happened" Hinata asked "why is Naruto like this" she asked and Haku looked at her with shock on her face.

"Naruto found out who his parents are" Haku said as she handed Hinata a scroll "it's pretty bad" she said.

Hinata looked at the scroll and read it

"Kushina is only a few days away from giving birth to out child; I cannot believe how far we have gotten. At first this was nothing more than a mission; seduce the Uzumaki girl, impregnate her and produce a powerful jinchuriki to protect the village. However I have seemed to veer off mission; i wasn't suppose to… but i fell in love with her. Her smile, upbeat attitude and her support have changed something in myself; however Master Jiraya and Lord third told me to not lose sight of the mission. Once the child is born I will ensure nothing jeopardizes the plan. I will have to kill the woman I love, the mother of my unborn child ; I still say this is for village, that we need our weapon. But frankly I cannot fathom how it came to this."

Hinata dropped the scroll and looked at Haku "no matter what happened Naruto's mother was to be killed the night he was born" Haku said shocking Hinata.

"And that's not all" Roga said as he handed Hinata a scroll "this was at the Hyuga compound" he said as he handed Hinata the scroll

"Oh my god Hitomi, I'm only a few days away from giving birth to my son; I cannot believe this! And in 2 more months you're giving birth to your daughter; we're going to be mom friends! We should make sure my son and your daughter grow up together; they could fall in love and we could be sisters. I know Hiashi is still a stubborn ass hat but he could be persuaded to say yes to an arranged marriage; i mean they Hyuga heiress and the hokage's son, that's a storybook relationship right there. Just like me and Minato"

Hinata was wide eyed 'me and Naruto were supposed to be in an arranged marriage' she thought as she heard another crash. Naruto was breathing heavily as he was kneeling on the ground and both Hinata and Haku both walked towards him.

"Naruto, are you ok" Hinata asked; Naruto looked up to both Haku and Hinata with tears in his eyes.

"Was I just born to suffer" Naruto said as tears streamed down his face "if things were different… then what" Naruto said. "My mother who loved me was to be killed before i was to even know her" Naruto said "my own father never saw me as a son; only as a future weapon he could exploit" Naruto said as he looked at Haku and Hinata. "And for what; a village that treated me like dog shit that got stuck to the bottom of their shoes" Naruto said "i-it's not fair" Naruto said.

Both Hinata and Haku grabbed Naruto and pulled him into a hug as he began to cry; Roga looked on but did not stop it 'I'll give him a minute; but we have to head to Oto as soon as possible' he thought.

Otogakure (3 days later): With Naruto

Naruto was outside sitting on a log looking up at the sky, ever since the revelation of finding out who his parents were Naruto has been feeling angry; Hinata and Haku have been trying to keep him calm but he told them he needed space.

'Even from birth Konoha was going to screw me' Naruto thought 'damn village' he thought as he slammed his fist onto the log.

"So angry… i love it" came a voice; Naruto whipped around and saw Orochimaru come out of the darkness "hello Naruto" he said with a sinister smile. Naruto scowled and turned around.

"Piss off snake" Naruto said and Orochimaru chuckled.

"I heard about your little problem" Orochimaru said walking closer "so you finally found out about Minato and Sarutobi sensei's plan; you're taking it better than i thought" he said and Naruto looked at him.

"You knew" Naruto said and Orochimaru nodded "of course; Sarutobi sensei and Jiraya told me when Minato became a genin" he said as he sat down next to Naruto. "Minato was a damn fool for following sensei and that pervert Jiraya" Orochimaru said "Minato seduces a girl and knocked her up for 'the future of the village' and he's praised as a hero; but when i conduct human experiments I'm called a monster" he said as he wrapped his arm around Naruto. "We have a lot in common Naruto" Orochimaru said and Naruto swatted his arm off.

"We are nothing alike" Naruto said and Orochimaru became serious.

"We are both victims of the village" Orochimaru said "we were both hated and ostracized for things out of our control; and we only have one person to blame, Hiruzen Sarutobi" he said as he looked at Naruto. "Which is why I want you in my plan to destroy Konoha" Orochimaru said smiling "you can unleash the fury and anger that has been building up inside you for all these years" he said.

"All i care about is my people" Naruto said "the money i make from this job is going to keep them safe and fed" he said and Orochimaru laughed.

"Do you really think you can protect your people with your wallet" Orochimaru said "you will always have a target on your back dear Naruto; you'll need more than just money" he said as he leaned in closer. "What you need is a power" Orochimaru said as he got up and began to walk away.

"What kind of power" Naruto said as Orochimaru stopped and turned around.

"Take a look at me and at Doto" Orochimaru said with a smile "use that brain of yours and find out what we have in common" he said as he vanished into the darkness.

Naruto turned around and looked back up at the sky and pondered 'him and Doto' Naruto thought before he realized what he meant. Naruto realized what Orochimaru meant 'can i do that' Naruto thought as he got up and began to walk away 'maybe…' Naruto thought.

As Naruto walked back to his sleeping quarters he began to formulate a plan inside his mind; a plan for security, not just for him but for those he held dear.
