Sonic Unleashed 1/8
Note: I know I'm doing the games out of order for the most part, but it's for a very good reason. One you will find out as you read.

(Third-Person POV)
*In outer space, high above the planet Mobius, a fleet of ships was surrounding a giant red ship. In the control room of the ship, Dr. Eggman laughed his evil laugh until he heard alarms go off. He looked out the window & saw a fire on the prow of the battleship with two figures crouching in front of it. The figures stood up, revealing Sonic the Hedgehog & his little sister, Ayla the Hedgehog*
(Ayla's POV)
*It's been a week since I returned from the Underground Zone. Today, Sonic & I were in space, above our planet, ready to stop whatever plan Dr. Eggs-for-Brains has cooked up this time. I got on my board & got out my Ring Blades as an army of Eggman's robots came towards us & all the ships weapons aimed at us*
Sonic: Ready to rock, sis?
Ayla: Ready to roll, bro.
*With said we zoomed towards the robots, dodging blasts from the cannons. Then Sonic used his spin dash to destroy the robots & I sliced & diced them with my Ring Blades. We ran down the prow of the ship until we ran into a bigger robot. We easily dodged it's fists & plowed through more that looked just like it. Suddenly, the Doc appeared in his own battle robot, firing at us. But we dodged & flew over the robot*
Dr. Eggman: Why you little - ! *then Sonic went in for a spin dash & I flew with my blades. Eggman dodged & fired missiles at us* You're not getting away!
*Suddenly, his robot shot out a both hands, aimed at us*
Sonic: Wuh-oh!
Ayla: Double wuh-oh!
*The hands grabbed us & pulled us back to Eggman. We were both trapped in each of it's fists until we concentrated & summoned the Chaos Emeralds*
Dr. Eggman: What!? *Sonic & I turned into our super forms (look up 'Super Ayla" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt") & destroyed the hands of the robot. then we flew through it, slicing it in half* Uh-oh, time to go! *he tried to fly away in his Egg-Mobile, but we chased after him. multiple doors closed behind him as he went through them, but we stayed right behind him, destroying the doors on the way. in fact, most of the ship blew up as we flew through it. then we destroyed the other ships in his armada. finally, we cornered him in what looked like a space station, as he fell out of his Egg-Mobile, coming up through the floor* S - Sonic! A - Ayla! *he fell to his knees & started groveling* I - I'm sorry! R - Really! L - Look, go easy on me! I'll turn over a new leaf, I swear! Just give me a chance!
Sonic: Well, this is new. Showing remorse, Eggman? If you played nice, we wouldn't have to break all your toys.
Ayla: You know, I'm a little disappointed. I come back after a whole year away, and you just give up whatever you're planning like that? *I snapped my fingers to prove my point* I was kind of expecting something a little more exciting.
*Just then, Eggman pulled out a button & pushed it*
Dr. Eggman: Gotcha!
*Suddenly, parts of the floor rose up*
Sonic & Ayla: Wha!?
*They sent out rings of energy & we were soon trapped, held together, back-to-back. We struggled to break free as Eggman rose up on a floating piece of the floor. Suddenly, we were both electrocuted, making us scream. Then the Chaos Emeralds came out of us, floating in mid-air. Outside, the bottom part of the space station opened, revealing what looked like a cannon. Eggman laughed*
Dr. Eggman: Oh, I've waited a long time for this! *he pressed a button* Fire! *the Chaos Energy Cannon sent out a blast of energy at Mobius, causing the surface of the planet to crack & break apart, like one giant jigsaw puzzle. I could see what looked like purple tentacles coming out of the ground & the planet's core peaking out underneath, along with a giant purple bony hand, both connected to a giant monster. Sonic & I were still getting shocked by the machine & writhing in pain. just then, we both started to change. we grew slightly larger, with longer muzzles & larger hands, & longer, more muscular arms. our fingernails became claws, our teeth became fangs, & our ears became more curved and thinner, resembling a pair of horns. Our skin turned pale blue & our fur/quills turned dark blue, traits of white fur also appear on our wrists, the end of our quills, & Sonic's chest, our gloves were ripped off & our shoes had spikes on them, turning into cleats (look up "Ayla the Werehog" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt"). we howled along with the monster. the Chaos Emeralds fell to the floor, looking completely drained of their power. Eggman laughed again* Success! A brilliant success! It's just as the Gaia Manuscripts foretold! The entity that was sealed within the planet has awakened. Now I just need to harness it's power. The Eggman Empire will finally come to be!
*Sonic & I turned to him with glared*
Sonic: You've really . . . Gina and done it this time, Eggman.
Ayla: What . . . Did you do!?
Dr. Eggman: Ahh, Sonic, Ayla. That's a good look for you both. Festive! So long, friends!
*Suddenly, the window behind us opened & we started to get sucked out. Sonic grabbed the floor & then my hand. But he soon lost his grip & we fell out of the station, towards the broken Mobius, screaming the whole way down, along with the lifeless Chaos Emeralds. Then everything went black as I heard the monster roar*
*I could still feel myself falling as I opened my eyes. Suddenly, a green force field surrounded me & Sonic. Then they disappeared & we both fell again, screaming.
Sonic & Ayla: Noooooo!
*We landed on the ground with a loud thud, face-planting in the dirt. The dark Chaos Emeralds dropped on the ground around us. We pulled ourselves out of the dirt*
Sonic: What the heck is going on?
Ayla: I wish I knew.
*We looked around. Standing behind us was a tall windmill. Then we saw a small, burgundy & white imp-like creature resembling somewhat of a chihuahua, with bronze eyes, green fairy-like wings on his back & wearing a green bauble necklace, laying unconscious. We went over to it & Sonic picked it up by it's fluffy tail*
Sonic: Hey! *he shook it* Are you okay?
Chip: Can't . . . I can't . . . Eat another bite.
Sonic: Hey! Pull yourself together!
Ayla: Sonic! Don't shake so hard!
*The creature opened it's eyes. When it saw us, it screamed, got out of Sonic's grip, & ran away, hiding behind a rock*
Chip: Don't eat me! I taste bad!
Ayla: Are you okay?
Sonic: Nothing broken?
*He looked at us strangely as it slowly came out of hiding*
Chip: Oh, I'm just fine. *he flew up to us with his little wings* Thanks for asking, Mister and Miss Monsters.
Sonic: Mister . . . And Miss Monsters!? *we both noticed how much we had changed* Looks like things have gotten pretty ugly.
Ayla: You said it.
Chip: Yeah! Look at those teeth! And those claws! What are your names anyway?
Sonic: I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog.
Ayla: And I'm his sister, Ayla. And you are?
Chip: Huh? *he thought for a moment. but then he started freaking out* What is my name!? *he stood on the ground & started running around like a headless clucky* I don't know! I can't remember!
Sonic: What? You forgot who you are?
Chip: Yep. I remember something falling from the sky and everything just going white and then nothing! I can't remember a thing past that!
Sonic:*whispering* Uh-oh. Did we fall on him?
Ayla:*whispering* I hope not.
*The creature started floating in the air again*
Chip: Oh, man, what am I gonna do!? What can I do!? Where do I go from here!? What'll I . . . *he fell* Oof, I'm hungry.
*Sonic caught him in his hand*
Sonic: Hey, don't worry. We'll help you get your memory back.
Chip: Really? You mean it?
Ayla: Absolutely. No matter how long it takes.
Sonic: I'm sure we'll find somebody who knows you if we look around.
Chip: Oh, thank you! You're the best, Mister and Miss Monst - I mean, Sonic and Ayla the Hedgehogs! *all three of us did a high-five. just then, the sun came up over the horizon & me & Sonic started to glow purple. the next thing I knew, we were back to normal* Whoa!
Sonic: Huh?
Ayla: Wha!?
Chip: That was amazing!
*We made to the nearby city of Apotos. We walked down one of the streets, Sonic juggling two of the dark Chaos Emeralds with one hand*
Sonic: What do you figure THAT was all about? The hair, and those arms, and . . . And look at the Chaos Emeralds.
Ayla: I don't know. But something tells it's far worse than the last time they were drained of their power.

Chip: So is this what you guys usually look like?
Ayla: Yeah, this the real us.
Sonic: Pretty cool, huh?
*But he was gone*
Ayla: Huh? Where'd he go?
*We looked around & saw him in front of an ice cream stand run by a male bear with dark brown fur, gray eyes, a dark brown mustache, caucasian skin, & wearing a chartreuse cap, a pink-and-white striped apron over a light green shirt, dark green pants, & dark green shoes. He was eyeing one of the ice cream cones on display*
Chip: Oooh.
Ice Cream Vendor Bear: Looks good, don't it? *he nodded* That there Chocolate Chipped Cream Sundae Supreme is the pride of the city! *he laughed* The whole world can come tumbling down, but they'll still line up for a taste!
*He started to get excited*
Sonic: Hey! What about your memories!?
*But he wasn't listening*
Chip: Chocolate chip . . . Sundae . . . Supreeeeeme!
Ice Cream Vendor:*laugh* You said it! Enjoy it, kiddo! Satisfaction guaranteed! If you don't love it, you get your money back!
Sonic: HEY!
Chip: Oh, I loooove it!
*I just giggled & went to order two more ice creams for me & my brother*
*Later, we were walking through the city, enjoying our ice cream, which was super good. I know Chris & his friends would have loved it*
Chip: Wow, this chip-whatever stuff is great!
Sonic: If you say so . . .
Ayla: Oh, Sonic. Just try it before it melts.
*He ignored me*
Sonic: How about you give us a hand and help look for somebody who knows you, Chip?
*That made me & "Chip" stop in our tracks*
Ayla & Chip: Chip?
Sonic: Gotta call you something, don't we? Whaddya think?
*We both thought for a moment*
Chip: Yeah! Chip . . . Chip! I love it! Yum!
Ayla: Short. Sweet. Easy to remember. I like it. Plus it's cute.
*Chip blushed at the word "Cute"*
Sonic: Now what do you say we start asking around and see if anybody here knows you?
Chip: Okay.
Ayla: Let's go.
*We spent the whole day asking around town. But so far, we've come up empty. Now it was nighttime*
Chip: Hmm. Still no luck finding anyone who knows me.
Sonic: Don't worry about it.
Ayla: Yeah, maybe your memory will come back on it's own.
Sonic: Remember anything yet?
Chip: Mmm . . . Nope!
Sonic: Oh, well. *just then, the sun went down & I felt a pain in my chest. Sonic looked like he was feeling too* Sonic? Ayla? *we both glowed purple & turned back into our monster forms, with roars* Whoooa. Mister and Miss Monsters are back!
Sonic: So, when the sun goes down . . . We turn into . . . This?
*Hearing that, I started to panic on the inside*
Ayla:*in her mind* Oh no! No, no, no, no, no! This can't be happened! What will I do if Shadow sees me like this!? He'll think I'm hideous!
Chip: Are you guys okay?
*Sonic was about to answer, but I beat him too it*
Ayla: No! I'm not okay! What am I going to do!? I can't let Shadow or anybody see me like this!
Sonic: Ayla! Ayla, calm down! It's going to be okay.
Ayla: How is it going to be okay!? Look at us! We're freaks!
Sonic: Ayla! Don't say that! Take a deep breath! *I took a few deep breaths & calmed down* Better?
Ayla: Yeah. Sorry about that.
Sonic: It's okay. We just have to be careful who sees us like this.
Ayla: Yeah. Good idea.
Chip: Uh . . . Who's Shadow?
*I blushed in embarrassment when I realized that I had said his name out loud*
Sonic: Oh, he's Ayla's boy -
*I quickly covered my brother's mouth*
Ayla: He's just a really good friend of mine. Nobody special.
*I glared at my brother, who just smirked at me. Then Chip noticed something behind us*
Chip: Guys! Guys, look!
Sonic: What is it?
*It was the Ice Cream Vendor from this morning, who looked very depressed*
Ice Cream Vendor: It's hopeless. The whole world has split apart. We're doomed.
*Chip went up to him*
Chip: Mister? Hey, Mister! Hey, don't cry! Uhh . . . Ice cream! *he picked up one of the ice cream cones* How about some more of this super-tasty stuff?
Ice Cream Vendor: What good is ice cream at a time like this?
*Chip got startled by his words, stumbled off the counter, dropping the ice cream*
Sonic: Whoops!
*Suddenly, his arm stretched out & he caught the ice cream before it hit the floor*
Chip: S - Sonic!? Your arm just stretched!
Sonic: Weird . . . *he stretched his arm again, putting the ice cream back on the counter* But it could be useful.
Ayla: Hmm . . . I wonder . . .
*I held up my left arm & it stretched all the way to a nearby lamppost. I grabbed on to it & flew towards the post, standing on it*
Sonic & Chip: Whoa!
Ayla: Wow! Spider-Man, eat your heart out!
*The Ice Cream is starting crying again. Suddenly, we heard a scream. We follow it & saw Tails, surrounded by monsters. One of them was a giant, holding a giant club*
Tails: Whoa, hey! Settle down, guys! C'mon! H - Heeelp!
*He flew away & hid behind a building rise. That's when
Sonic: Hey! Why don't you guys pick on someone your own size!
Ayla: Bring it on!
*Working together, we battled the monsters until completely disappeared in puffs of black smoke*
Sonic: Hey, Tails.
Ayla: Glad you're okay.
Tails: Sonic? Ayla?
*Clouds moved away from the moon, revealing us to him. I shuffled towards my brother a bit, to avoid him seeing me*
Sonic: What are you doing out here?
Tails: Sonic . . . Ayla . . . Is that really you? *he flew towards us* That's a new look. What happened?
Sonic: You know us. Never a dull moment.
*Chip appeared from behind me. He landed in front of Tails & pulled out a chocolate bar*
Chip: Want some chocolate?
Tails: Uh, thanks.
*He took the bar*
Ayla: Where'd you get that?
Chip: From a nice old lady earlier today. She gave me a whole bag of them because she said I was cute.
*I rolled my eyes. Then we told Tails the whole story*
Tails: That's some story. I'll bet that means that you both turning into . . . That . . . And the planet breaking apart are somehow related.
Sonic: We need to find Eggman and make him fix this, and fast!
Tails: About that . . . I think I know someone who might know something about what's going on here.
*While we were talking, Chip was doing back strokes in the air*
Ayla: Oh, really?
Tails: Professor Pickle over at Spagonia University. *I let a out a giggle at the name* I came to this city to gather some data. If we add that to his research findings, we might be able to get to the bottom of all this.
Sonic: Spagonia? That's a continent over. An easy jog if the planet weren't broken.
Ayla: I'd fly over there on my board if I could. But I doubt it could my new size.
Tails: No problem. The X Tornado will get us there in a flash. Let's get going!
Sonic: Leave it to you, Tails! Let's get moving!
*Sonic & I both got on the back of the X Tornado, Chip sitting on my shoulder, & flew off into the air*
