Can I say how much of an honour it was to get a letter from you? And to have it delivered in person by Giratina was – perhaps the most amazing thing I've seen in my life!
I only wish that the actual contents were something that was more pleasant to think about. Yes, I remember Zero, and he was once my student, but after I realized the only way by which the Megarig design could copy Giratina's powers I destroyed the design. I don't know how Zero rebuilt it from scratch.
Your assumption is correct – yes, the fragments of reddish crystal were originally something I found in the vicinity of the Spear Pillar, during the period when I was researching all three of the great dragons of Sinnoh. I found several, but Zero took all the ones I had.
I would love to find out more about exactly how and why they work the way they do, but I know that doing experiments on Giratina would be extremely impolite.
On other matters, I… must apologize, for the extent my work has caused harm. I am at least glad that neither Zero, nor Infi, nor any of Zero's Pokémon were permanently harmed, and that they were stopped before worse could happen.
