Memories Of Her-Ch 9
As everybody got into their places Hotch reminded them that they needed to be careful and not physically harm a very pregnant Savannah, Dave said, "let's just get Derek out of there, his wife and unborn child are waiting on him", Hotch said, "alright, we move in on my count", he took a deep breath as he started his countdown.
Everybody listened as he said, "3, 2, 1, breach, breach" and everybody made entry into the house and found that Savannah was still downstairs so they made their way down the hall and Dave yanked the door open to see the very surprised face of one Savannah Hayes looking back at them.
She stepped back and said, "h h how are you here, h h how did you find us?", Derek sat looking dazed as he looked around the room at all of the people, he looked at Hotch and said, "who are you?", Hotch put his hand on Derek's shoulder and said, "I'm a friend", Derek looked at Savannah and then back at Hotch and said, "please get me out of here".
JJ had let them know to send the medics in before going to the kitchen to retrieve the meds that Savannah had been drugging him with, she knew that the doctors at the hospital would need to know what meds she had been drugging him with so they would know how to work to stabilize the effects of the meds.
As Derek laid on the gurney he kept looking at the team, he would go from Hotch to Dave and then to Reid and then he pointed at Reid and said, "you", Reid got down beside him and said, "I'm here Derek, I'm here, you're safe, you're safe", Derek continued looking at him and said, "p p pretty boy?", Reid grinned and said, "you're gonna be alright, we're gonna get you to the hospital".
The medics looked at the agents and said, "we need to get to the hospital and the sooner the better considering what you told us", Reid said, "can I ride with him please?", the medic said, "sure, sure but we need to go now", Dave said, "go ahead with them Reid, we'll go get Penelope and the others and meet you at the hospital".
Hotch and the others climbed into their SUV's and pulled out behind the ambulance, when they got to the intersection JJ said, "Em and I will go get the others, you three stay with Derek and make sure that he's safe", Dave said, "always Jayje, always" as the call ended and the team split up into separate directions.
