Sealed With A Kiss
Chapter 37
He went on with his work day and finished it. No one knew or suspected anything. He drove home. Staring at himself in the mirror.
"That can't happen again. One time only." Lucas said to himself.
As he unlocked the car door and went inside.
"Daddy. Momma said there's a surprise. Do you know what it is?" Bailey asked.
"I do. But we'll tell you later tonight. How are you my boy?" Lucas asked. With a smile.
"I missed you. Me and momma did alot." Bailey replied.
Lucas engulfed his son into a hug.
"I love you B." Lucas said.
"I love you too daddy." Bailey replied as he went upstairs.
"My favorite husband is finally home. I made dinner." Brooke announced.
Lucas looked to her with a surprised expression.
"I can do more then look great in my clothes."
"How was work today? How is that second novel coming along?" Brooke asked.
"I'm still in the planning and idea phase."
"You look happy." Lucas said.
"I am. I have my husband. We're so in love. Bailey. This new baby of ours. We have our impending move to our forever home."
"You've given me the world. And i want us to savor all of it." Brooke said.
Lucas hugged her tightly. Kissing her gently.
Weeks Later
The family of three and half. Officially moved in to the Red Door Home. Movers put everything were it needed to be.
The couple did unpacking. Lucas did a majority. Brooke did what she could even with his worry and concern.
She was 12 weeks pregnant now. Baby bump officially on display.
Bailey was so excited and ready to meet his new sibling.
The couple very quickly explained that the baby needed months before the baby would be ready to arrive.
Brooke's heart ached in a good way. When she realized she was at last living the life she had always wanted.
