Pansy loved her boys she really did, but they were all idiots.

Theo following Granger like a lost puppy wanting attention, but too shy to approach.

Blaise badly flirting with Potter, even she didn't understand half the things he meant, never mind Clueless Potter.

And Draco's constant pulling at Weasley's non-existent pigtails they were now in their fifth year it was getting annoying.

With the dark lord back it was becoming less and less likely that her friends would end up with their crushes.

Thinking back she remembered when each of her friends first noticed their loves.

First was Theo their second year. On a notice board that all the school used had for a history study group.

Since history was a joke Theo went. Pansy was convinced to go along with him Since she had nothing else to do.

Granger had apparently got this together along with Potter and Thomson? Thomas? Tomas? Thom? Anyway, the group was mainly those that were Muggle raised. They seemed pleased to have the two Slytherins there.

It was fun. They first listed questions that were under the topic of history. Moon kept asking about what creatures are real. It was getting annoying. Then they'd go to the history section, randomly pick a book, take it back, and see if they could answer the questions.

Granger was really good at it. With each one she got right, Pansy could tell her friend fell in love more and more.

For Blaise it was also second year but a few months after Theo. During the first Quidditch match. Blaise was there because Draco dragged him. To see "me wipe the floor with Potter" Pansy, Blaise, and Theo won the Slytherin betting pool that Slytherin would lose. Over 150G each. The way Potter weaved in and out of the other players and the way he continued to weave after it became obvious one of the bludgers were tempered with this time away from the other players and he still caught the snitch. even with Slytherins on brand-new brooms.

But God Pansy wishes he'd miss the match. The flirting was awful. "You're like a library book I could stare and drool at you all day." "Zabini, are you saying I'm more boring than Binns?"

It's funny that Draco was the last to find out he had feelings for Weasley since from Pansy's perspective he'd had a crush since the train first year.

He'd only realised his feelings this year. Weasley caught Draco as he slipped on a puddle of water at the top of the stairs. He ranted about "how could Weasley think him weak and in need of saving. And how unfairly muscled under his uniform."

And yet none of them would ask out their crushes. And Their feelings were reciprocated if she was reading the golden trio correctly.

Potter had found Blaise attractive since First Year. After their potions class, Blaise was the only one not to geer and snigger as Potter got in trouble for Longbottom's cauldron exploding.

Granger fell for Theo at the same time he did for her.

Weasley. Well, Pansy thinks he's in deep denial. It was probably at the beginning of this year that he was coming around to the idea. In fact, Pansy knew that the golden trio were going to ask her friends out.

All Pansy can say is Thank Magic.
