Uraraka Ochako, from a very young age, was always a happy and playful girl with others, with a positive mentality and always ready to help. Coming from a humble family, the young brown-haired girl never valued material or exotic things like other girls, she was simply happy to be with her family without asking for anything more.

At a young age she understood the great sacrifice her parents made to give her a promising future, which led her to think that she should repay her parents for all their efforts towards her. This was how her dream was born, to be a heroine, a not very far-fetched dream if she considered that she lived in a world filled with heroes. Superhuman society was daily life for many decades, even before she was born.

The new society put the meaning of hero on a job position, now not only did the title demonstrate a person who saved people out of pure altruism, but it now meant a well-paid job position for those who managed to stand out and even if they didn't. you were still one of the best paying jobs today.

She was determined, she would be a hero to earn enough money to support her parents. What if this seemed like a selfish dream? It was his parents he was talking about and for them there was nothing he couldn't do. She still remembered the night she told them both about her new dream, her parents welcomed her with a hug, once again showing all their support. And so his path began, now at the age of 14 he was just one step away from completing school and applying to the largest hero academy in the country, the UA.

?: Are you nervous, Uraraka? —One of the girls in her class asked her curiously.—

Ochako: Nervous? —She looked at her confused, perhaps she had not heard her correctly, since she was paying more attention to what the teacher was explaining. —What do you mean? -Another question I had was why this girl was talking to her, after all she didn't usually do it. —

?: You know...in a few months we will finish school. Are you already preparing for the UA admission exam? —The girl put on a smile, although it didn't seem like a friendly one.—

"Oh, so that was it…" Ochako thought to herself listlessly. It already seemed weird to him that one of the most popular girls in school was talking to him for no reason. Plus I already had some history with this demon, as I liked to refer to her. The story went back two years ago.

[Flashback]

It was a Tuesday, there were only a few hours left until school finished and everyone could go home. Ochako's mind was lost in her notebook, the class seemed boring and she had no better idea than to draw at random as time passed.

Her mind drifted to her future, she was already thinking about being a heroine, but she still couldn't decide on a name or what her outfit would be like, and it seemed like this was a good time to think about the latter. Letting his imagination flow, he started to make sketches of possible heroine outfits, no specific theme, he just let his childish mentality fly with free reign.

The world around her was shrinking more and more, it was just her and her imagination captured in her sketches. The professor's voice became increasingly inaudible the deeper he immersed himself in his own thoughts, until a loud noise abruptly brought him out.

Professor: Uraraka Ochako! Are you paying attention?! -The old master had a quirk that allowed him to copy the voice of whoever he wanted. And for these occasions where a student was not paying attention to his class, he changed his voice to a very serious one straight out of a horror film.

Ochako: oh! —She covered her ears, afraid and to a certain degree in pain.—Y-yes! E-excuse me, professor… —The girl with brown eyes lowered her head in search of forgiveness.—

Teacher: This is the third time this week that has caught your attention. Since it seems that what you do is more important, why don't you go forward and come out first to tell us about the profession you want to study? —The professor made a gesture with his hand for her to go in front of the entire class.—

Ochako: I-I...e-etto... —The embarrassed girl played with her hands in an attempt to be freed from going to the front of the class.—

Teacher: Go ahead, Miss Uraraka. Your other colleagues want to share their goals and dreams, we don't have all day.

?: I bet a useless girl like her doesn't even have a dream for her future —A student spoke out loud without worrying how bad what he said sounded.—

?: You can't blame her, someone with her possibilities can't aspire to much more —A girl answered with a poisonous voice.—

Faced with the statements of his classmates and the cold gaze of the professor, he had no choice but to get up from his seat and walk until he was in front of everyone. She lowered her head in fear as she played with the skirt that was part of her school uniform, her heart was beating so quickly and her skin was sweating coldly as she thought about what to say.

Ochako: I-I…before I didn't have a goal for my future… —Some whispers became present once she spoke, I couldn't understand what they were saying but it sure wasn't anything good about her so she continued speaking. — But after seeing how my parents were trying hard to give me a future, I decided what I wanted to do with my life." As the words continued to flow through his mouth, his confidence increased, now he had his eyes fixed on his companions and his hands were closed in fists showing their determination. —I want to be a heroine, so I can give my parents a better life and so they can be happy with me —His eyes shone with determination and his voice! echoed before the silence of the entire class. No one answered for a few seconds. Had I impressed them?

?: You a heroine?! hahaha! –One of the popular girls mentioned mockingly, breaking the silence of the class–

The Demon: Did you just say you want to be a hero to make money? But how selfish of you, Uraraka—She also began laughing along with her friend. "The demon" was the most popular girl in the class, so with this phrase little Ochako's destiny was marked. The whole class started to laugh at her in an explosion of mocking laughter.

Ochako: D-don't laugh! It's not selfish, I just wanna help my parents! —Ochako screamed with tears starting to flow from her eyes and her cheeks were reddening from the rage she felt at that moment.—

Teacher: OK, Miss Uraraka. You should not raise your voice like that.

Ochako: B-but they...!

Teacher: I said enough! Your teammates did not do anything wrong. My son died last year while fighting a villain - The professor's gaze became colder and darker as he remembered his son - He died as a hero, it's what they do, they fight for others because it's the right thing to do, not because money or glory. And if you have the idea of being a hero just to make money, you are wrong! —The teacher raised his voice with fury, leaving the entire class silence. The young woman with brown hair could only freeze as her eyes full with more tears. —My son didn't die so that people as selfish as you can be heroes!

[End of Flashback]

After everyone made fun of her, the entire school knew what happened. She was never seen the same again, she never had friends again, she was lonely. Of course, after that class he went to his parents to tell them everything and they tried to speak to the principal against the teacher but their complaints and pleas came to nothing.

Since then her life was only immersed in getting through classes as quickly as she could and escaping to her home where she felt safe. She didn't care if her entire school made fun of her, she still kept her dream of supporting her parents, that would never change.

The demon: Hey, silly, I'm talking to you—The girl took her out of her thoughts with her irritating voice. —Are you already getting ready to enter AU? Reply

Ochako: —I was silent for a few seconds, I didn't want to drag this out— Ehh..yes, a few weeks ago I started studying for the written exam

The demon: haha, written exam? —A mocking smile adorned his face—You know there is a physical exam, right?

Ochako: Well yes...I know. Why do you ask a lot about this? —Uraraka's patience was great, she always tried to remain positive and cheerful, but there was something about this girl that just made her go crazy.—

The demon: Oh for nothing, you know…I was just worried about you friend~ —She emphasized the last word with a mocking tone.—It's just that…I was watching you for a while and… — His look rose from bottom to top, carefully observing the brunette's body. "You know, I don't think you have the physical appearance of a hero."

The popular girl let out a little laugh at what was stated, while Uraraka remained silent, she was shocked.

Ochako: W-what are you trying to tell me?

The demon: Not to sound like a bad friend, but I think a hero's physique has to be a bit more... athletic hahaha

It was the straw that snapped the camel's back. The things that followed that were confusing to her, she only remembered shouting, pushing, hitting someone, and then everything was dark. She woke up with a severe headache in the school infirmary, her eyesight took while to adjust to the light but her hearing told her that she was not alone.

?: So you say that she started insulting you and then attacking you?

The demon: Yeah, that's right! "I-I just wanted to ask her one thing but she answered aggressively, when I tried to calm her down she rushed at me." The girl was sobbing, something clearly untrue but it seemed like she was convincing the adult who was next to her.

His eyesight finally adjusted and he could see the principal's face, his face was serious. She stood up with some difficulty as she caressed her arm fearfully.

Principal: Oh, Miss Uraraka. I'm happy to see that you've woken up so we can clear this up.

Ochako: W-what happened? —She still felt dizzy, she noticed that her knuckles were slightly swollen. —

The demon: You hit me, that's what happened!

Ochako: I didn't do it, you started insulting me! You always did, always since I wanted to be a hero to help my parents!

The demon: Someone like you can never be, you are nothing but a bully!

Principal: Enough! —The strong and authoritative voice of the old man left them in silence.— Shouting will not resolve anything and insulting each other will not solve anything. Act like the ladies you are, especially you, Miss Uraraka. —The man's look fell on her. The director shook his index finger.— If you want to be a heroine, you must learn to control your feelings and think about your actions, Otherwise your course will deviate and you will end up on a very different path from the one you want."

Ochako: I-it's okay director… —He could only lower his head sadly while he felt the mocking gaze of the girl who was next to him.—

Principal: Seeing as I won't be able to solve this with both of them, I'm afraid that tomorrow their parents will have to come to discuss what happened today. If you have no more things to say, you can leave, classes ended half an hour ago." With this saying, the old man left the room, leaving them alone.—

The demon: It doesn't matter what you do, not even if tomorrow you convince them that I was the one who started it all – She got up from the bed she was lying on and walked to the door. - Whatever my parents can pay the lawyers or to the director himself so that nothing happens to me. It's a shame that someone like you doesn't have those chances. With a huge smile he left without saying more, leaving the young brunette alone like she cried in the silence of the room.

[Thirty minutes later]

The young woman with brown eyes walked in silence with her eyes lowered, her partner's words continued to echo in her head. Once again they made fun of her, her dream, her finances and now even her physique.

"Why do the worst people in the world have easy and happy lives?" It was her thought as she tried to stop shedding tears, the last thing she wanted was for her parents to worry about her, they didn't deserve to see how their daughter arrived with bloodshot eyes from crying so much. She wanted to be a hero, she had to be strong, brave, capable of saving others and not…a coward.

The clouds covered the sky, it seemed that at any moment it would begin to rain, something that worried the young woman a lot. Uraraka lived relatively far from the school in an area where public transportation did not run very often, that's right, because of the accident she had, she had lost her transportation and was now forced to walk on foot.

As if fate heard her thoughts, the rain did not wait and raindrops began to fall almost immediately. She began to run desperately, but the storm only got worse, it was too strong and she was already practically soaked by the drops of water that fell from the sky.

Ochako: I-I still have a long way to go… —She said almost out of breath as she ran as fast as she could.— I-I think that I-I need to…m-improve my physical condition a little… —The rain was only getting worse, some puddles of water were starting to form in the streets, it was too far away and I couldn't get there in time.—

Trying to run faster, she didn't notice a small rock on the road that made her trip and crash straight into the ground. There was no one around to help her, the rain left the empty streets. The young Ochako woke up in pain, she felt a strong pain in her left knee and when she looked at that area she could see how a little dark reddish liquid started to ooze out.

Ochako: Great…now I won't be able to run—She got up with some pain and decided to cover herself from the rain under a small roof of a closed store.— I hope this rain passes soon, my parents must be concerned about me...

?:I agree with you little one, why don't you let us help you go with them?

The voice of an older man made her scared when she suddenly heard it. Uraraka turned towards the owner of the voice, finding a bad-looking bearded adult man and next to him was someone else but with long orange hair and a rather disturbing smile on him.

?: I agree with you brother, it wouldn't be gentlemanly on our part to leave a beautiful young girl alone in the rain haha —The man's smile only grew bigger before the brunette's eyes—

?: Yes, come with us little one, I assure you that we will take care of you~ well —The man in a quick movement tried to take her arm but she was able to dodge it and move away a little from both strangers. —

Ochako: A-Stay away, I'm fine alone n-I don't need help - The brunette slowly turned away in fear while both men approached her with the same slowness -

?: Come on darling, we won't do anything to you. "We just want to take you to your parents." The man placed his hand in his pocket and took out a sharp knife. "Don't make this difficult for us, little one."

Ochako: —When she saw the weapon her blood froze, as she did her breathing.— Back up, I-I'm not afraid of them...and-I'll be a h-heroine...

?: Oh jojo, it seems we have a hero on our hands brother -The man licked his lips while also taking out a knife from his pocket - Come on little hero, give us our punishment, we have been very bad people~

Ochako: —Her hands were shaking as their legs were, tears were beginning to come out of her eyes while with a trembling voice she tried to scare them—M-my quirk i-it's very strong! Get away or l-I'll use it…! —It seemed like her words had no effect because both strangers were still slowly approaching her. "A hero is not afraid, a hero is not afraid, a hero is not afraid!" "He screamed at the top of his lungs while he closed his eyes with all his strength and tried to cover himself with his arms waiting for something that never happened."

A loud noise echoed in the place, then some screams and pleas for mercy were heard, and then they returned to the only soft sound of the rain still active. The young brunette still remained in her position with her eyes closed, panic did not permit her to open them or move from her place.

A few steps of shoes began to break the soft sound of the rain, they continued until the owner of the footsteps ended up in front of the girl who was still murmuring to herself her previous words "a hero is not afraid."

?: Even a hero can be scared —It was a soft and gentle voice. It had a tone that Uraraka had never heard before, it was so…calm, so calm—It's over, everything is fine. Come on, open your eyes. "I promise you I'm not that ugly." The owner of the voice let out a small laugh, which also made her feel more highlighted.—

Ochako released a sigh and slowly opened her eyes. She didn't know what to feel, surprise or fear, since behind the person in front of her were the two men who had intimidated her, lying on the ground with no signs of life and with a reddish puddle around them because of the rain ... And in front of her she had the boy with the kindest and cutest face she had ever seen, he had a small smile that for some reason made her feel safe immediately, the only thing that damaged that face was the clear dark circles under her eyes . His eyes

?: You see it? "Everything is good now." He spoke again with his calm voice. "I already took care of them, they will never disturb you again." He said it with a smile while taking a quick look at the bodies from the corner of his eye. "

Ochako: Y-you…you killed them… —After the initial impression, reality now hit the young brunette. Starting to get scared, because if he killed them it meant that he was no better than the two men who tried to attack her— D-don't do anything to me…p-please

?: —His smile was erased for a brief second but he recovered instantly. —He won't do anything to you, if he wanted to do it he would have already done it—He rubbed his hair with some annoyance. – You should be grateful for taking the trouble. to save your life—His tone went from a gentle one to a more irritated and dry one, something that seemed strange to the brunette.—

Ochako: Why did you save me?

?: Hmmm… —He put his index finger to his chin thoughtfully, it seemed that not even he had an answer.— Let's say that I don't agree that they harm someone who is defenseless, besides…if I can erase two garbage of this society I will happily do it

Ochako: You're not a hero…

?: hahaha I see that your little head works a bit slowly, huh? —He gently caressed her head, messing up her hair a little. "But yes, I'm not a hero, I'm a villain." He said it as if it didn't matter while his face was adorned by a proud smile.—

Ochako: A-a…villain? —If she was surprised before, this left her in shock.—

?: You better go, don't think that my good fortune of the day will be repeated twice - The boy shrugged his shoulders and turned his back on him as he walked calmly. -Forget that you saw me, goodbye

Ochako: —She froze watching him walk away, until she finally reacted and ran a little while screaming—Wait! —His scream made the boy's slow steps stop. —I-I just…I-I want to thank you…

?: I don't need your thanks, I didn't do it for you, I just saw a good opportunity to kill two bastards…nothing more

Ochako: Even if it's like that...I...n-need to thank you appropriately. A-after all you saved my life. W-what's your name?

?: ... —He didn't respond for a second, then he turned around and connected his green eyes with his brown ones. That little, innocent smile on the girl's face brought back old memories that he thought were almost lost in time. For a second he felt a small pain in his heart.—Tell me...Shigaraki, Shigaraki Izuku

Ochako: S-shigaraki, thank you for saving me—She bowed while smiling happily upon knowing the name of her savior.—

Izuku: Yes, yes, you're welcome… I guess - She shrugged her shoulders to turn around again. - Now go home and don't walk alone through these streets again - And so he disappeared from her sight, leaving her alone again.—

Ochako: -He brought his hand to his chest still processing what had just happened. —My hero…is he a villain?

That's all for this first chapter, I hope you like it, if so you can support with a vote or comment, let me know what you thought of this chapter. I accept suggestions and criticism as long as they are respectful haha

I know that many may believe that this type of fanfic about the deku villain and the ship with Uraraka is burned out. But anyway, I had an idea about this and I had to write it down so let's see how it turns out.

At the moment I plan to continue for a few more chapters, so the continuation of this one will depend on the reception they give it. Without further ado, I say goodbye and see you in the next chapter.
