Chapter 8: Best friends
Narrator: "Several months passed, and despite how difficult it was, Goombario was managing all of his work." "Term was about to end for Christmas break in about a week." "All of the freshman had just arrived back at the college, after going on a field trip to a factory that made tractor trailers." "Goombario and Goombella were sitting alone late that night on the dock, while everyone else was asleep."
Goombario: "I am amazed with how much time we were able to spend together, despite being three grades apart."
Goombella: "Yeah, it's going to be upsetting when I eventually graduate at the end of the year."
Goombario: "Well no matter what happens, I hope we'll always remain friends."
Goombella: "Best friends, we'll still keep in touch."
Goombario: "Well, it's finally happening this weekend." "We will finally start looking for clues." "The idiot who killed that Yoshi will hopefully be brought to justice."
Goombella: "It won't be just the two of us, Professor Frankly will be joining us on this escapade." "He was really useful not too long ago when it came to finding the crystal stars."
Goombario: "There is something I am curious about." "What became of the palace of shadow after you defeated the Shadow Queen." "Is anyone ever going behind the thousand year door again?"
Goombella: "I heard that it's being converted into a museum." "Maybe during the summer we can go there as buds."
Goombario: "I love you so much as a bud."
