Chapter 9: R.I.P the admiral
Narrator: "Over on the Rogueport railroad, a long heavy freight train was sitting in a siding." "They were waiting for the Excess Express to pass through." "In the caboose, Admiral Bobbery was sipping on some Chuckola cola."
Bobbery: "Argh, it be a peaceful night here tonight." "Though I still be missin the salty sea smell."
Narrator: "He then heard a whistle."
Bobbery: "That be the express about to pass through."
Narrator: "Unfortunately, that was not the case." "The switch had not been set to let the express pass." "The head locomotive of the Excess Express went right into the siding, and crashed into the caboose at 110 mph." "Bobbery instantly exploded upon impact, blowing up the caboose." "The locomotive of the Excess Express derailed, along with all of the passenger cars it was pulling." "A few minutes later, several ambulances and helicopters arrived on the scene." "Nearly everyone involved in the wreck was badly injured, but there were no deaths." "Unfortunately, Admiral Bobbery was the exception." "Back at U Goom, Goombella heard about the news of her friend, and was deeply upset."
Goombella: "I'm afraid our little adventure has to wait, I unfortunately have to attend the funeral of an old friend."
Goombario: "It's a real shame, he sounded like a good man from what you've told me." "At least he'll be back together with his long lost Scarlett." "I don't understand, why was the express diverted into a siding?"
Goombella: "The man in the signal tower had a heart attack before he could change the switch." "It was a freak acccident, nothing could have been done to prevent it."
