During the Final Moments of the Subspace Emissary

"Rrrgh…" Tabuu grunted, staring at the Smashers before him, all of them looking battered and bruised. "I must admit… I have underestimated you… you have defeated my army, kept throwing wrenches into my plans… you weakened my Off-Wings-" He heard a chuckle from Sonic. "-But know this… I will be the one who will win this battle. All of the world will fall into Subspace and you measly fighters… will not see another day in the light!"

"You… you shut up…" Pit rose up, holding on to his arm as a bit of blood trickled down his lower lip. "You keep talking about how you want to conquer everything… how you want to increase your strength until you are this unstoppable being… you look down on our worlds because you think Subspace is the one true world and you want to cover our lands! Well know this, Tabuu… we're going to stop you!" He declared, gripping his Palutena Bow as tight as he could. "This world belongs to the light, NOT Subspace!"

"Heheheh… such empty words from a flightless angel." Tabuu chuckled, summoning his chain. "You all interfered for the last time. You are weak… and I'm the one who is strong enough to take all of you down! If I can turn you into trophies once… I will do it again. Nothing will stand in my way! Subspace will rule EVERYTHING!" He yelled, raising his chain to attempt to harm them… but something stopped it. He looked up and saw Master Hand grabbing the chain.

"I… I will not let you… harm my Smashers!"

"You are weak! What makes you think you can still stand against me?"

"There is one thing you should know, Tabuu… in your quest for conquering the world due to your arrogance, there is something that you failed to realize!"

"And what is that?"

Master Hand chuckled. "Who do you think brought Sonic in this dark void?"

"I do not follow." Tabuu said.

"Of course you don't… because you didn't pay close enough attention! You thought I was the one who looked over this land? There is another!"

"Another Master Hand?"

"Yes… but he's more insane than you."

"What is the meaning-" Suddenly, he was punched in the back and send him slamming into the ground. "RRRGH!"

"Surpriiiiiise~!" Crazy Hand exclaimed. "I go and visit Mobius for five minutes and the whole world goes to crap!" He said. "Heh, this would be the part where I say "I should do that more often", but considering my brother looks worse for wear… that will have to wait. NO ONE is allowed to take down my own brother and gets away with it! …Except for the Smashers when they wanna do Classic Mode, and then there's me who loves messing with him, but that's besides the point! You wanna destroy the universe and shape it in your own image with Subspace? Not on my watch, pal! While I love a good session of chaos, even I have to admit that this is too far!"

"There's… there's another one…?!"

"Indeed! I am the embodiment of chaos! Honestly, you should've controlled me instead of my brother. It would make more sense! But that's besides the point… I believe it's time for you to be destroyed, my blue friend!" He said and turned to the Smashers. "Smashers! Remember when we introduced the Smash Ball to you?"

"Yeah? What about it?" Mario asked.

"There's something we forgot to mention. When you use it for the first time, you don't specifically need the Smash Ball to use your Final Smashes at this point. You can use them however you'd like! Though it is a bit watered down so it's not as powerful as like say… using it from a Smash Ball… what I'm trying to say is…" Crazy Hand pointed to Tabuu. "Sic 'im!"

"Ohohohoho… I'm going to enjoy this." Bowser smirked.

BGM: Main Theme (Super Smash Bros Brawl)

"You fools… you cannot win!" Tabuu declared as he threw his chain down but Bowser transformed into Giga Bowser and grabbed a hold of the chain, yanking it off of Tabuu as Sonic transformed into Super Sonic as he flew directly into Tabuu and slammed into him.

"While it's great we can use our Final Smashes whenever we want… I'll stick with the Chaos Emeralds!" Sonic said, punching Tabuu in the face as Tabuu quickly summoned his Off Wings but Meta Knight grabbed a hold of Ike and flew over toward him and dropped him on top of Tabuu.

"GREAT AEEETHEEEER!"

"Know my power!"

"Rrrrgh!" Tabuu grunted as he got hit by both attacks and was thrown toward the ground where Marth slashed through him with Critical Hit, all three of these attacks completely shattered his wings. Tabuu quickly got up where he got pelted by arrows coming from Pit's Centurions and then blasted with grenades from Snake's Grenade Launchers. Tabuu quickly summoned his Dragon Laser and fired, but Samus fired her Zero Laser, Lucario unleashed his Aura Storm, Red had his Pokemon unleash Triple Finish to collide into the laser where the laser was pushed back and enveloped Tabuu, hitting him dead center as Zelda pulled out her Light Arrow and shot him dead center in the chest to send him flying, then got pelted by a few Landmasters and lasers from ROB.

Tabuu quickly teleported as he quickly aimed at the group and pelted them with a Bullet Rain attack, but Yoshi flew over him while carrying Mario as Yoshi breathed fire while Mario unleashed his Mario Finale at him, before falling over and hammering Tabuu in the head to make him crash toward the ground as Link and Toon Link used Triforce Slash from both sides as Ganondorf went into Beast Ganon and rushed at him right as the Links sent him over to Ganon.

"Let's finish this, little guy!" Falcon said to Game and Watch.

"Beep Beep!"

Tabuu quickly teleported of the way to avoid a PK Starstorm from Ness and Lucas, as he proceeded to slash through an iceberg that the Ice Climbers had made, completely distracted by the fact that Falcon hopped in his Blue Falcon and rushed at Tabuu, and when they got close, Falcon launched up in the air with Game and Watch. "FALCOOOOOON…"

"Beeeep!"

Tabuu turned around, seeing what the two were about to do as as he quickly tried to escape, but Peach used her Final Smash to make him drowsy as he looked on to see Falcon and Game and Watch about to unleash hell on him.

"PAAAAAWNCH!"

"Beeeeeeep!" Game and Watch used Judgement at the same time, where Tabuu got hit by a 9 attack at the same time as he got Falcon Punched.

End BGM

"AAAAAAAAAAARGH!" Tabuu groaned as he started writhing in agony as everyone looked on. "You… YOU INTERFERING SMAAASHEEEERS!" He exclaimed as everyone saw Subspace shrinking from the areas that Tabuu forced ROB's entire race to destroy.

"We gotta get out of here!" Lucario said.

"Hang on to your butts!" Crazy Hand said, snapping his fingers and teleporting the group out of there as Tabuu roared in agony as he reached out towards them before exploding. Everyone had teleported to a cliffside as they all looked on to see the last Subspace portal shrinking, where the Isle of Ancients once floated, but it was no longer there. Instead, the shape of an X was in its place.

"Phew… that's the last of it." Link said, putting his Master Sword away as they noticed ROB looking over at the Isle of Ancients, flashing back to what happened to his kind as he looked down solemnly. Samus and Falcon put a comforting hand on the robot.

"Hey, what's going on over there?" Snake wondered as they looked to see some kind of distortion happening at the X where it let out a distorting explosion as it reached the group… but none of them felt any different.

"Huh, weird… must've been a side effect." Crazy Hand said.

"Uuugh…" Master Hand collapsed on the ground.

"Whoa now!" Crazy Hand picked up his brother. "Let's get you to bed, brother. You look like you need it!" He said as he floated off as the Smashers walked off. ROB stayed behind to look at where the Isle of Ancients stood before turning around and rolled off.

At Beacon Academy…

Ozpin was looking out the window, casually drinking his coffee as he was looking down at the students walking around the campus. It was then that the distortion went straight through Beacon Academy and hit Ozpin, cracking his windows and cup. "Hmm? What was that just now?" He wondered, turning around and seeing his lights flickering before they stopped. "Weird…" He mused.

"Ozpin, did you feel that distortion?" Glynda asked from the receiver.

"Yes Glynda, I have."

"What was that all about?"

"I do not know. It was most likely a strange phenomenon. I'm sure nothing serious has happened."

"I doubt it. Several windows had just shattered during that phenomenon. I've a feeling something has happened."

"Whatever it may be… I'm sure for a fact that nothing completely major has happened."

A few days later…

"Ozpin! Look at this!" Oobleck put down several tubes of Dust down on his desk. "There is something strange going on with the Dust!"

"It looks normal."

"Yes! But Professor Galileo from the science lab has conducted some experiments with dust and he found something intriguing!" He said, putting some of the dust under a microscope. "Take a look!"

"Let's see… my word! Have they always had these glowing particles?"

"No, they have not. Professor Galileo noted that ever since that distortion happened, these strange particles showed up out of nowhere. He has been doing various tests and in his conclusion, he said that the Dust could easily be used from worlds outside of Remnant… or even outer space!"

"Worlds outside of Remnant?"

"He also heard word from his friends that a strange new land appeared out of thin air! Apparently it is called the Mushroom Kingdom."

"New lands do not just pop up out of nowhere, Bartho-"

"Doctor."

"Ahem… doctor. Lands do not just appear out of nowhere just like that."

"That is what I said! But he showed me pictures!" He said as he showed pictures off of his scroll.

"My goodness… I've never seen this strange land before…" He mused.

"And that's not all! He brought back a souvenir!" He pulled out a Super Mushroom as Ozpin's eyes widened in surprise.

"Since when do mushrooms have eyes?"

"That is what I said too! Think about it… that distortion goes around Remnant and then the next thing we know, we have land appearing out of nowhere, dust particles having a strange afterglow, and to top it all off, we have mushrooms with eyes! Do you know what this means?"

"That we must investigate this land?"

"THAT WE MUST INVESTIGATE THIS LA-… Oh, you already said it."

"I will take a look. You go back to class. I will go see what is up."

"Yes sir!" Oobleck saluted. "But should anything happen, I will not hesitate to come to your aid and kick anyone's butt that is giving you trouble!"

Ozpin chuckled. "I think I can handle it just fine." He said as he walked off.

"Hmph… next thing that will happen is if a ghost shows up at our academy or a green pipe shows up in our doorstep! Hmph! …That would be a possibility though…"

Later, at the Mushroom Kingdom…

"Goodness, you're right!" Peach said as she was looking through the telescope. "The moon does look way different. What happened to it?"

"If I had to guess, that Tabuu guy placed a Subspace Bomb on the moon!" A Toad said.

"How would that work, my boy?" Toadsworth asked.

"Stranger things have happened!"

"He's not wrong." Peach said.

"Hmm, indeed." Toadsworth said, stroking the fur off of his Herdier.

His Herdier immediately perked up and started barking, as if it picked up on something. "What is it, boy?" Peach asked.

"Look, over there!" Toadsworth pointed in the distance. "I think he is barking at that man over there."

"Hmm… never seen him before." Peach mused as she walked over to him.

"Princess! You sure that is a good idea?"

"I'll be fine." Peach smiled as she walked over.

"Fascinating…" Ozpin mused, watching some Toads going about their day. "Walking mushrooms… mushroom shaped houses… the clouds and hills have eyes… this is very peculiar. What is this?" He wondered.

"Hello!"

"Hmm?" Ozpin turned to the source of the voice, seeing Peach approach him. "Oh, hello there."

"Welcome to the Mushroom Kingdom!" Peach smiled sweetly. "What is your name? I haven't seen you before."

"I am Professor Ozpin of Beacon Academy. What is yours, my dear?" He asked.

"I am Princess Peach Toadstool, the leader of the Mushroom Kingdom."

"Princess? Oh, my apologies, your highness."

Peach giggled. "It's okay. Come on, let's have a little chat over tea at my castle." She said as she walked back to the castle with Ozpin right behind her.

A little bit later…

BGM: Peach's Castle (Fortune Street)

"A distortion?" Peach wondered aloud.

"Yes. It happened just a few days ago."

"Hmm…" Peach rubbed her chin in thought while Ozpin drank his tea. "Come to think of it, there was that odd distortion after that Subspace Emissary incident." She mused.

"Subspace Emissary?"

"Yes. There was this wicked being named Tabuu and he wanted to take over the world by plunging it into Subspace. We put a stop to him, but after that… there was this odd distortion. We felt a bit weird but nothing had changed. We went back to our daily lives after the Brawl tournament was canceled. We still can go and spar against one another at the Smash Mansion, but the biggest tournament of Smash Bros… it had to be canceled because of what Tabuu had done."

"Hmm… I see." Ozpin stroked his chin thoughtfully. "That would put a damper on things."

"Yes." Peach nodded. "So, what was this about Dust?"

"Oh right, of course. You see, Dust in our world can be used for many different things in every day life. It is a naturally occurring energy propellant that can be triggered by the aura of humans and faunus."

"Pardon me for asking, but… what is a Faunus?"

"Think of a faunus as a human, but with an animal-like trait. They aren't technically humans, they are different than us."

"Animal like trait… can there be a lot of traits?"

"No, just one. If you have something like elephant ears, you cannot have a trunk or a tail."

"Ooooh, got it." Peach said. "My my, your world is so interesting. Aura, Semblances, Faunus, these creatures called Grimm… my goodness!"

"Indeed. Now, back to dust. It can be used in every day life… such as electricity, fire, fuel, and much more. However, they can only be used in our world, but… ever since that distortion happened, things haven't been the same. For example, the Mushroom Kingdom showing up in Remnant of all places."

"I guess we can call that a happy accident?" Peach guessed as Ozpin let out a chuckle.

"I suppose so." He said as he pulled out some vials that contained the Dust. "This is Dust in powdered form. They are mostly in crystal."

"Coooool!" Peach said as she accidentally caught a whiff of it. "Ah… ah… ACHOOOOO!" She sneezed, causing an electrical frozen fiery storm in the room as they were all covered in soot. "…Sorry…"

"You'd be surprised how often this happens." Ozpin said, casually brushing it off. "Normally, Dust would only work in our world, but considering there's been a strange phenomenon with these Dust particles, things might have changed."

"Oh! Perhaps we should try it out in different worlds!" Peach suggested. "Come on, I can show you a faster way to get to these worlds."

Ozpin nodded. "Lead the way."

One trip to the Smash Mansion later…

"Ta-dah! Portals to different worlds!" Peach said. "…Uh… Ozpin?" She asked, as Ozpin was looking at two Hands floating by and talking.

"Talking hands… definitely a new one." He mused as he turned to Peach. "Sorry about that. Let's try it out."

"Let's try this one!" Peach said as they walked into a portal where they ended up in the Kanto Region. "Welcome to the Kanto region!"

BGM: Road To Viridian City (Super Smash Bros Brawl/Wii U/Ultimate)

"Fascinating…" Ozpin mused as he looked around at the various Pokemon that were going about the place as he then pulled out his scroll.

"Location not found. Not in Remnant anymore."

"Indeed…" Ozpin said as he put it away.

"Go on, try our your magic… or… semblance, whatever it is called." Peach encouraged as Ozpin's cane glowed as he swung it, firing bolts of energy from it as they hit a tree. He then pulled out a vial of electric dust and blew it out into the wild, as a Butterfree flew by and caught a whiff of it.

"Freeee…? Free!" Butterfree sneezed, accidentally causing a small electrical storm that electrocuted the Butterfree as it fell to the ground. "Freee…" The Butterfree groaned.

"Interesting… so it can work in different lands." Ozpin mused.

"We're not done yet!" Peach said as they walked toward the portal and walked inside, then walked into another portal a few portals down. "Welcome to Planet Zebes!"

BGM: Brinstar (Super Smash Bros Melee/Brawl/Wii U/3DS/Ultimate)

"Forgive me… I didn't quite catch that. Did you just say planet?"

"Yup! We're definitely on a whole different planet now." Peach winked. "Go on, use your stuff!"

Ozpin nodded and used the same tactics as before, this time using it on a few Geemers that were minding their own business before they were completely annihilated. "We can use dust on different planets…"

"Definitely a side effect from that distortion!" Peach smiled. "…But we're not done yet. We must go beyond!" She said as she pulled out her phone and called someone. "Hey Samus, mind if we borrow your spaceship for a bit?"

Later, in deep space…

BGM: Space Junk Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy)

"This should be good!" Peach smiled.

"Remind me why you dragged me out here?" Samus asked as Ozpin walked out in a space suit as he floated out.

"This feels weird…"

"But we're doing this for science!" Peach giggled.

"Right." Ozpin nodded and then unleashed the same tactic as before, firing at nothing in particular as the red dust that was shot out into space also exploded after Ozpin shot at it. "My word… this is a massive game changer." He mused.

"Alright, we're pulling you in!" Peach nodded. "I am completely satisfied!"

Back at the Mushroom Kingdom…

"Thank you so much for your hospitality, princess." Ozpin said.

"Aww, you're welcome! You sure you don't want to stay?"

"No, I must be going. Perhaps one day, we will meet again."

"Yeah!" Peach smiled. "Take care, Ozpin!" She waved.

"You take care as well, princess."

"Please, call me Peach!" Peach smiled as Ozpin let out a chuckle as he walked off.

The next day…

"So, how did it go?" Oobleck asked.

"It went well. I went to this Mushroom Kingdom and it turns out… we can use dust in different worlds."

"What?! So Professor Galileo wasn't off his rocker?!"

"We can also use it in deep space."

"WHAT?!"

"Indeed."

"This is unbelievable… this is a breakthrough in science! What could this mean?"

Ozpin let out a chuckle. "It means… that things are about to get a whole lot more interesting."

Interesting indeed!
