Minutes after the Jamba Heart exploded

BGM: Toad Town (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story)

Marisa walked out of her home, smelling the air. "Aaaah… another glorious day." She said as she hopped on her broom and flew up. "Alright, what do I wanna do today… go and bug Reimu, raid Patchy's library, head off to the Human Village…" She looked up to see Popstar. "Finally get around to see what that new star is all about… seriously, you can't just see stars in the day time! Wonder why that is… it's probably an incident in the making, but I'm not sure…" She mused and folded her arms. "Eeeeh, I'm gonna go talk to Reimu about this." She said.

Right on cue, however, she saw a purple storm coming from behind Popstar. "Huh? What's going on?" She wondered as she saw something fly directly toward her. "WHOA!" She yelled, quickly diving out of the way as a Jamba Heart piece crashed into the ground. "What was that?" She wondered as she flew down to investigate it. "A heart…?" She walked closer to it, as the dark aura slowly overtook her, her eyes going from yellow to dark purple.

At the Hakurei Shrine…

"Oi! Reimu! Open up!" Cirno said, pounding on the doors as a Jamba Heart smacked into her from behind. "Mmmph!" She grunted as her eyes turned purple. "Must. Freeze… everything!" She said as she took off flying.

Reimu opened up the door a second later. "What is it?" She asked, yawning as she looked around. "Ugh… too early for this…" She mumbled, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes as she went to grab her broom. "Well… might as well go ahead and sweep…" She said as she started sweeping.

End BGM

It was then that a dark shadow loomed over Reimu. "Hmm?" She wondered as she looked up to see Marisa. "Oh, it's you." She said. "Don't you have a library to raid?" She jokingly said, but Marisa didn't even bat an eye. "…Marisa? Hello? You're not usually this quiet…"

Marisa brought out her Mini-Hakkero, aiming directly at her. "Huh?! Marisa, what are you-?!"

"Master Spark."

Reimu quickly avoided the colorful laser, looking directly at Marisa. "Marisa, what's gotten into you?!" She demanded to know.

"For the glory of Void Termina… all must perish!"

"Void Termina?" Reimu whispered quietly. "What are you talking about?" She wondered as she then saw Marisa's eye color. "Your eyes… they're… they're different…" She said as Marisa unleashed Starlight Typhoon, but Reimu backflipped to avoid the danmaku. "I don't want to fight you… snap out of it!"

"Die!"Marisa would fire another Master Spark, where Reimu would quickly avoid the attack.

"Alright… you want to rumble? I'll get you out of whatever's got a hold of you!" She said, readying her gohei.

BGM: The Corrupted (Kingdom Hearts III)

Corrupted Magician - Marisa Kirisame

Marisa lunged at Reimu, quickly trying to whack her with her broom but she quickly avoided the attack as she jumped up in the air and fired Yin Yang Orbs at Marisa. A few of them hit Marisa as Marisa responded with a Magic Sign: Milky Way attack. Reimu flew around the danmaku as she barrel rolled out of the way of a Non-Directional Laser. "Take THIS!" She yelled, striking Marisa with a Yin-Yang Treasured Orb and sent her flying.

Marisa would come back swinging by standing on her broom and lunged at Reimu with a Blazing Star. Reimu would fly up to avoid it, but in a slow motion moment, Marisa would bring out her Mini-Hakkero and fire a Master Spark directly at Reimu, sending her flying in the air as Marisa swiftly turned around and slammed into a dazed Reimu. "ARGH!" Reimu grunted as she went flying and smacked into the archway near the stairs, then Marisa flew over and fired at Reimu with an Orreries Sun.

Reimu quickly avoided it, shaking off the stinging pain from the Master Spark. Divine Spirit: Fantasy Seal! She thought, surrounding herself in colorful orbs as she fired them at Marisa, but she fired lasers from the Orreries Sun, forcing Reimu to fly up and kicked Marisa down with a Sky Wind God Kick, sending her to the ground but Marisa recovered and floated to stop herself from crashing into the ground. Marisa would then hop up and unleashed Dragon Meteor. Reimu avoided the attack, but the Dragon Meteor struck the ground as the explosion caught the donation box in the crossfire.

Reimu let out a gasp and then glared at Marisa. "Marisa, I know this isn't you! You wouldn't go as far as destroying the donation box!"

"Who cares about some dumb ol' donation box?"

Reimu clenched her fists. "Alright, whoever is possessing you… now you've gone and made me mad…" She growled as she rushed at Marisa as the latter threw a Master Spark at her, Reimu just barely grazing it as she unleashed another Yin-Yang Treasured Orb, sending the possessed magician crashing to the ground. Reimu then flew over and unleashed Yin-Yang Kishin Orb as Marisa let out a loud pained cry. Marisa would then jump back and retaliated with an Event Horizon spell. Reimu flew around the spell, grazing gracefully through the danmaku as she threw Hakurei Amulets and Fantasy Orbs at Marisa, stopping her spell.

"Here goes!" She said, summoning seven orbs to surround her as she lunged at Marisa as the latter unleashed a Final Spark. "Dimensional Rift!" She said, using a card to disappear as she teleported near Marisa and used Ascension Kick to kick Marisa up in the air, then she flew up and flip kicked Marisa, followed by a few roundhouse kicks and then a palm strike right after, then finished off her combo with a Sky Wind God Kick, as all seven orbs glowed brightly right after. She hesitated a bit, not wanting to do it on her best friend. Forgive me. She thought, a tear escaping her eye as she flew directly at Marisa.

"FANTASY NATURE!"

"GYAAAAAAAAH!"

Marisa fell over, crashing into the ground as Reimu landed near her. The Jamba Heart flew out of Marisa's body. "A heart…?" Reimu wondered as a Fantasy Orb appeared next to her, ready to throw it at the Jamba Heart as it suddenly flew off. "Did it come from that Star?" She wondered as she heard loud screaming and small explosions as she turned around, flying up and seeing Youkai attack the Human Village… or attacking each other. "What is going on?!"

At Hakugyokurou…

"Raaaaah!" A possessed Yuyuko struck Youmu, knocking her down.

"Nnngh!" Youmu was knocked down. She looked up at Yuyuko, who had also got herself taken over by a Jamba Heart. "Lady Yuyuko, what's gotten into you?!" She yelled, having a hard battle against her. She was a bit battered and bruised after getting hurt by her fierce attacks. Myon was lying near Youmu, looking near exhausted.

"Butterfly Delusion!"

Suddenly, a gap opened up in front of Youmu as the danmaku went inside it and then flew out behind Yuyuko, as she grunted in pain as Yukari walked forward. "Yuyuko, stand down." Yukari said, aiming her fan at Yuyuko. "I don't want to hurt my best friend… so get out of her body right now."

"Heh… what makes you think you can take me out, Yukari~?" Yuyuko brought out her fan with a demented giggle. "You wouldn't really-" Suddenly, a hand from a gap grabbed a hold of her collar. "Grk!"

"If it means knocking you out… then you leave me with no choice. Forgive me, Yuyuko…" She whispered as she pulled back her fist, closing her eyes and punching her in the face to knock her back, then unleashed a point blank Double Black Death Butterfly on her. She then delivered a hard punch to Yuyuko's stomach to make her hunch over. Yukari cringed at this, hating to hurt Yuyuko like this as she grabbed her face and slammed her into the ground.

"Oooh!" Youmu winced as Yukari picked up the dazed Yuyuko, firing butterfly danmaku at her before pulling back her fist.

"I'm sorry…" She whispered, socking her in the face and sent her crashing on her back as the Jamba Heart came out of her.

"What's that?!" Youmu asked as Yukari aimed her hand at it, opening up a gap in its path, disappearing into it.

"I sent it back to where it came from." Yukari said, picking up Yuyuko as she walked into the shrine and put Yuyuko on the bed. "Keep an eye on her." She said, opening up a gap and walking inside.

End BGM

"This… this is absurd… what in the world is going on here?!" Reimu yelled.

A gap opened up as Yukari flew out. "It seems like a new incident is brewing." She mused.

"Rrrgh…" Reimu clenched her fists, turning her attention to the knocked out Marisa where Suika was poking her with a stick. "First that new star pops up in the sky… and now everything's gone crazy. There has to be a connection!"

Yukari had an idea. She had talked to Ozpin in Gensokyo before they both went to visit Dreamland. Perhaps sending Reimu there will get things sorted out. "Hmhmhmhm, then why not go visit that new star? I imagine you'll find your answer." And make some new friends while you're at it. She thought to herself.

Reimu turned to Yukari before nodding. "Right." She said as she looked at Popstar before turning to Marisa. Don't worry, Marisa… I'll get this sorted out. She thought and flew off.

Yukari smirked, putting her fan over her mouth. "Let's hope you make new friends, Reimu…" She said and turned to Suika. "Suika. Take Marisa into the shrine."

"On it!" Suika saluted, picking Marisa up and taking her into the shrine.

"As for me… I'm gonna go see if I can't get Sakuya and Sanae involved. We're gonna be a bit busy." She said and flew off.

Testing, testing... one two three! I'm hearing from the Fanfic Help Desk that the site is back to normal... but i'm bit skeptical.
