A Few Days After the Schnee Mansion Blew Up

Dark Weiss paced around her room, grumbling to herself. She's still wondering how she got caught up in this mess. The moment she heard Weiss was in the Schnee Mansion, she was preparing herself to pay her a visit and even threw in a few practice swings with her weapon. The next thing she knew… a massive stink bomb blew up the entire mansion. When she came around, she had learned that Jacques Schnee had been thrown in jail and found herself in a mental institution in Atlas along with Whitley.

She demanded to know why she was thrown in this abysmal hell hole, but they kept telling her "They had to make sure they recovered fully from that traumatic experience and not experiencing any mental trauma" She rolled her eyes at that statement. What she wanted was to kill Weiss, not get locked in some mental institution!

The saving grace was that she was allowed to roam freely around the premises, except for one thing. She looked in the mirror and looked at her shock collar around her neck. If she were to step foot outside, she'd get a nasty shock that would knock her out and would allow the guards to throw her back in. "This place is filled with savages…" She grumbled.

She decided to go for a walk outside of her room. She wandered around and saw the various patients in a heavily guarded room. She didn't want to socialize so she decided to wander around the premises of the hospital. She walked over to Whitley's room where he was sitting on a bed as some doctors were looking into his eyes. She walked away after letting out a chuckle as she walked around the area until she came across a door with a sign that said "DO NOT ENTER: A HIGHLY DANGEROUS PATIENT LIVES IN THIS ROOM".

"Funny, I don't recall seeing this before." She mused as she looked both ways before opening the door. Inside she saw a woman in a straight jacket where Dark Weiss was able to identify auburn hair that went to her shoulder blades that was tied into a ponytail. She also had brown dog ears. A faunus? She thought to herself.

"…Who's there?" The woman asked as she opened her eyes where Dark Weiss would see that she had amber eyes. "Oh, a human. You're not those infuriating guards."

"Who are you?"

"I could ask you the same thing."

"I am Dark Weiss, what's yours?"

"Seryu Ubiquitous."

"Seryu Ubiqui-… what? What kind of last name is that?"

"What kind of name is Dark Weiss? Sounds like a name only reserved for edgy goth teenagers."

"…Touche." Dark Weiss muttered. "Why is a faunus like you in this rotten place?"

"I don't answer to humans."

"I'm not human. I'm a creation from the Mirror of Truth."

Seryu raised an eyebrow. "Okay, that's a new one. Well… in that case, I used to be part of the military. Hell, I was one of the top dogs too… in fact, I was part of the Winter Ops led by none other than Esdeath herself. However… I was kicked out just days after joining them."

"Why's that?"

"Because humans are scum. My family was treated like crap by some rotten humans, and so I trained hard to get into the military. I excelled better than any of my colleagues… and it sure got the attention of Esdeath. Just seeing her friendly smile… it made me sick. I even told her how much I despise humans and she told me not all humans are bad. Tch… as if." Seryu mumbled quietly.

"So what did you do? Kill one of the Winter-Ops?"

"Heh! Oh, I wish." Seryu chuckled. "No… there was one day when I was making my rounds when I spotted a human bullying a faunus. I went over to help but he pushed me down, saying I belong in the slums like the rest of the "animals". It was right at that moment… after enduring countless hardships from those humans… is when I snapped. I pulled out my gun and shot him in cold blood. I thought the faunus would be happy, but she looked horrified that I did such a thing and ran away. I didn't seem to care as I went around on a shooting spree, killing any human I came into contact with, including some Atlas Military that dared to try and stop me!"

She let out a few chuckles. "I never felt so alive… killing anyone in my path. However, it was short lived when a few of the Winter Ops stopped me from killing any more "innocents", as they called it. Heh, it's laughable… no human is truly innocent. I tried to take them down, but they took me down first. Next thing I know, I've been thrown in this padded room for a good while now."

"How long have you been in here?"

"Six months… a year… I've lost track of time. So… what are you in for?"

"Oh, lived through a toxic waste cloud of an explosion at the Schnee Mansion."

Seryu's eyes widened. "Wait a minute… you said you were Dark Weiss correct?"

"Yes."

Seryu growled. "So you're the Weiss Schnee. You're a damn Schnee!"

"No, I'm just her clone who wishes she was the real deal."

"Drop dead!" Seryu yelled. "You and your family are the reasons why we faunus suffer! It's a good thing I've heard that asshole is in jail! You Schnees… you all oughta be executed! If I didn't have this straight jacket on, I'd shoot you down in an instant!"

"With what? You don't have any guns!"

"You don't even know what I'm capable of. My semblance can rip you to pieces but this damned collar on my throat is preventing me from shooting you from my throat!"

"Well, I guess that can be considered a good thi-… wait, what?"

"Consider yourself lucky, Schnee. I'd be shooting everyone dead… including you. Then I'd be out of here." Seryu smiled sadistically. "Justice will prevail… it always will!"

Dark Weiss backed up as she opened the door and walked out the door. "Hoo… she's nuts." She shuddered as she walked off, trying to get her mind off of Seryu. She wandered around the mental hospital where she would spot a door that had "DO NOT ENTER: STAFF ONLY" plastered on it. She looked around and saw none of the guards there so she opened up the door and snuck inside, closing it behind her. She walked down the stairs where she would spot a closet. She opened it up and saw her own Myrtenaster inside with a bunch of other weapons. She let out a gasp and walked into it where she picked it up.

"Alright! Time to bust myself out of here." She said and then realized something. "…Wait, I can't do this alone." She said as she heard a door opening up as she let out a gasp and hid inside the closet where she would peek through the door and saw a few guards pulling a grill in.

"Phew, that was a heck of a good barbecue!"

"I'll say!"

"You think it's wise to leave the gasoline in here?"

"Please, it's not like any of the patients know what's going on down here."

"Fair enough." A guard chuckled as they walked up the stairs.

"Gasoline, eh?" Dark Weiss smirked as she snuck over and pulled out a can of gasoline. She shook it and heard there was a ton of liquid inside. "Perfect." She said as she carried it upstairs as she then started dumping it around the hospital. She then went back downstairs and put the empty can underneath the grill as she picked up the other one and placed it just in front of the door. She aimed her weapon at the gas but then had an idea. Her mind immediately thought of Seryu. "No… no… bad idea." She said. "I'm not bringing her with me."

Seryu leaned her head back on the padded wall, humming quietly when the door opened up as Dark Weiss walked in. "Oh, it's you. What do you want?" She asked as Dark Weiss aimed her weapon at her. "Oh, so you came to put me down. I knew you Schnees were bad ne-" Dark Weiss fired a small fireball at the collar, where it was enough to break the collar. "-Huh?"

"Do you want out of here?"

"Of course but… where are you going with this?"

"I'm planning on blowing this place up. I can't stand it a moment longer. Want in?"

"Ahem… I'm a little tied up at the moment." Seryu said. "Besides, there's no way you would want to-" Dark Weiss immediately cut up the straight jacket, freeing Seryu. Seryu immediately ripped off the collar and then pinned Dark Weiss to the wall. "What's your game, Schnee? Why did you free me knowing that I might kill you without a second thought?"

"I'm wondering that myself, but this place blows! And I want to get out of here and I didn't want to do it alone. Are you with me or what?"

"Tch… if it means spreading justice against those who threw me in here, why not."

"And another thing… why did you wear your armor underneath the straight jacket?"

"Why not?"

"…Fair enough. Now can you get this collar off of me?"

"You really trust me to take it off of you?"

"Surprisingly, yes… but I'm afraid you're gonna do something horrid against me."

"Smart lady." Seryu grabbed the collar and then yanked it off easily. "So, Schnee… you ready to blow this place up?"

"Yes."

Seryu smirked, reaching into her pockets and pulling out metal gloves. She immediately kicked open the door as she walked out right as a nurse walked over. "What the…?! Seryu?!"

"Sup, bitch?" Seryu smirked, clapping her hands together as an AR-15 formed into her hands and before the nurse could run away, Seryu shot her in the chest which immediately killed her.

"What the…?!" Dark Weiss looked at her in surprise.

"When I touch metal, I can form any type of gun I want. My ex-colleagues call my semblance "Technomancy." However… I call it Justice." Seryu smirked.

"WHAT THE?!" A voice yelled as they turned around and saw a doctor looking at them. "Seryu Ubiquitous has escaped! Sound the alarm!" He yelled as he rushed off, and just as he sounded the alarm, he was shot in the head.

"Why did you give him time to sound the alarm?"

"Because it's not as fun." Seryu smirked devilishly. "Oh, I am going to enjoy this." She said as she walked into a lounging area and found herself surrounded by guards. "Oh hello boys!" She waved.

"Seryu Ubiquitous! Stand down!"

"Do not make another move!"

"Just slowly put your hands above your head."

Sereyu smirked as she did so. "Just so you know, I'm not doing this out of obedience. I'm doing this for another reason…"

"And that is?" One of the guards asked as Dark Weiss threw a small fireball into the gas before running to catch up with Seryu.

"Oh, I'm sure you'll figure it out in a couple of seconds." She said as the flames made their way to the gas can while some of the fire went into a room that Dark Weiss had gone into, which was none other than the boiler room as the fire made its way toward the boiler as it started to heat up very rapidly. "In three… two… one."

BGM: Gekisen (Akame Ga Kill) (Start at 1:32)

BOOM!

The massive fireball exploded all over the mental hospital as the fireball reached into the lounging area, just inches away from Dark Weiss and Seryu, the latter two not flinching while the explosion rocked the entire hospital and made the others stumble. Seryu immediately made her move and started running, shooting at the guards easily to gun them down. One guard would get up as Seryu was busy shooting at the human patients but Dark Weiss would stab through him to kill him.

More guards came running in and started shooting at Seryu, but the latter switched from an AR to two pistols as she started shooting at them easily while diving for cover and shooting at a guard in the head. She immediately ran over to pick up his gun and then started shooting at the guards. Dark Weiss would burn the place up as Seryu would disappear into a hallway as Dark Weiss would follow her as Seryu happily shot up any guard or doctor in the area.

She immediately kicked open a door and saw Whitley in the other room. "What the devil is going on out there!" Whitley demanded.

"Wouldn't you like to know… human." Seryu aimed her pistol at him as he let out a gasp and then quickly dove out of the way as she shot at him. He immediately grabbed a metal tray that was near him and used it as an impromptu shield as he rushed at her and then shield bashed her. "Ooof!" She grunted as he swung the metal tray wildly as he knocked the guns off of her but Seryu would kick him in the knee, making him fall to the ground as she than grabbed the tray and slammed it on his head to KO him. She would immediately pick up her gun and aimed at him, where she would pull the trigger… but she heard a "click" instead.

"Ugh… out of ammo with this thing?" She grumbled as she tossed it to the side.

Meanwhile…

"General Esdeath!" A soldier ran up to her as she was eating an ice cream sundae.

"Yes?"

"There's something going on at the mental institution! There was an explosion and witnesses are hearing gunfire in there!"

"What?!" Esdeath stood up in shock. "Who would be crazy enough to do that?!" She wondered as she took off running.

Back at the chaos…

"Don't move!" A guard said from behind but Seryu clapped her hands together and then turned around to shoot him point blank with a shotgun. She then tossed it to the side and saw a few guards running up to her. She let out a devilish smirk and licked her glove as some of the guards raised eyebrows at this, but when she opened her mouth, she started shooting at them from inside her mouth, something that Dark Weiss took notice.

"That is incredibly bullshit." Dark Weiss sweatdropped as she looked down at Whitley and then back at Seryu who was busy shooting. "…Oooh, I can't believe I'm doing this…" She said as she picked him up and took off running while Seryu finished firing as the gun disappeared from her mouth.

"Ah, I love the taste of justice." She said with a devilish smirk, completely uncaring of the fire that made its way toward her as she started walking off and picking off any straggler that she so chose to kill. A doctor tried to crawl away after he was shot in the leg but Seryu put her foot on his back. "No human will make it out of here ALIVE!" She said and then shot him in the head. She started chuckling before laughing crazily as the fire made its way toward her.

Just outside…

"I can't believe I had to drag you out, you good for nothing dead weight…" Dark Weiss grumbled, unaware of an airship landing as Esdeath saw the burning building.

"Is she responsible for this…? Why does she look so familiar…" She wondered as she walked out and approached Dark Weiss. "Oh my my my… were you responsible for this?"

"Who are you?" Dark Weiss demanded to know.

"Me? I am but a humble military general. You may call me… Esdeath."

Esdeath? Like the woman Seryu mentioned? Dark Weiss wondered. "Well, Es… whoever you are, I'm fairly busy at the moment."

"Oh? And what's that?"

"I'm going to pay that little ice brat a lesson."

"Little ice brat?" Esdeath raised an eyebrow before taking a good look at her. Her eyes widened. Wait, isn't that… "Oooh, you're that dark emo girl, aren't you? Weiss Schnee?"

"Dark Weiss… and I plan on burning her alive for humiliating me."

Dark? What in the world happened at the Schnee Mansion? I must get answers out of her… but first, I need to get her to trust me. She then faked a smirk. "Well now, I have been curious about Team RWBY myself. What say you that we pay the Mushroom Kingdom a visit?"

Dark Weiss smirked. "Yes."

That was too easy. Esdeath deadpanned.

"What should we do with him?" Dark Weiss wondered, referring to Whitley. On instinct, Esdeath walked over and picked up Whitley, putting him over her shoulders.

"We'll take him with us. Can't leave him here out in the cold now, can we?" She let out a chuckle and turned around, giving Whitley a concerned look as she walked to the airship with Dark Weiss following her as they flew off.

Seryu walked out of the hospital a few moments later, shaking off the soot. "Alright~! Now to resume where I left off." She said as she let out a hum as the mental hospital crumbled behind her. A poster from the mental hospital flew out and landed in the snow in front of her. "Hmm?" She wondered as she knelt down to pick it up. "Journey to the Mushroom Kingdom… filled with prosperous lands and endless entertainment. The Mushroom what now?" She wondered as she let out a smirk. "Sounds like fun… now where can I find such a place?" She smirked and then wandered around Atlas in disguise for about a few hours, asking around for the Mushroom Kingdom but no one knew what she was talking about.

"Ugh, there's gotta be someone I know who will take me to this Mushroom Kingdom…"

"Psst." A voice caught her attention, her dog ears perking up as she turned to see a Paratroopa approaching her. "I heard you want to go to the Mushroom Kingdom. I am from that kingdom, I came to visit this place when I overheard your plight."

"Oh! You'll take me there?" Seryu perked up. "Oh, if I had a cute dog tail, I'd be wagging with excitement!" Her eyes sparkled. "Tell me, how do I get there?"

The Paratroopa pulled out a P Wing. "This will take you to your destination."

"Uh… okay…" Seryu nodded as she took the P Wing, where she unwittingly absorbed it as glowing wings sprouted from her back. "WHA?!"

"Now say where you want to go."

"I want to go near the Mushroom Kingdom." She said as the wings flapped and flew her up in the air. "Wha?! What's going on?! What did you do?!"

"Enjoy your flight." The Paratroopa said as the P Wings took Seryu flying to the Mushroom Kingdom. "…Odd, why do I feel like I just made a big mistake?"

About a few hours later…

"AAAAAAAAAAAH!" Seryu slammed near a forest. "Ow…" She groaned as the P Wings disappeared as she brushed it off. "That could've gone better…" She muttered as she looked into the forest. "I wonder… is the kingdom through here?" She wondered as she walked through the forest until she came into a clearing, finding a camp nearby as she walked over, where she had spotted Adam talking with some Crimson Fang members. She also noticed a beat up Slime nearby.

"…Adam, we have company." One of them said as Adam turned to Seryu.

"Who are you?"

"Seryu Ubiquitous." She said and then noticed the uniforms they were wearing and let out a gasp. "Are you the White Fang?! Oh, I've always wanted to join the White Fang after going on that killing spree! Alas… never had that opportunity when I was thrown in a mental institution."

"We're ex-White Fang now." Adam said.

"Eh?! Why?!"

"Because Sienna Kahn excommunicated us for our more "extreme" ideas." Adam said. "She also signed a peace treaty with the humans."

Seryu let out a low growl. "So… there are Faunus who are willing to side with humans… unforgivable."

Adam smirked. "You seem you have potential. Do you want to join?"

Seryu let out a vicious smirk. "Where do I sign up?"

Yup, that crazy bitch is here as well!
