"Mmm, who could be knocking at the door this early in the morning…" Toadsworth mumbled, rubbing his eyes as he opened the door to see a few Sledge Bros at the door. "Do you boys know that it is seven in the morning?"
"Yes, but we were asked to deliver the package first thing in the morning."
"Package?" Toadsworth asked as he saw a truck backing up with "Rip Van Fish Bedding" on the side.
"Oh, you boys are early!" Peach said as she approached.
"Princess? You're not usually up by this time." Toadsworth said.
"I was a bit excited." Peach giggled. "The old bed is this way."
With a nod, the Sledge Bros followed the princess straight for Myra's room. "Just a warning, the paint is still setting."
"Not a problem." One of the Sledge Bros said as they walked into the room and the intoxicating smell of lavender paint filled their noses.
"Hooo weee! That's some smell!"
"Yeah. We just got done painting last night. We threw out a lot of old wallpaper…" Peach explained. "We've opened the window to air the paint out."
"Is that the bed?" One of them asked, pointing to an old fashioned bed that looked like it was about to collapse at any moment.
"That's the one."
"Alright, time to get to work." They both lifted the bed and walked out of the room, and then a few minutes later, a queen sized bed moved on in, complete with a new bed frame to go with it. They put the frame down and put the mattress on the bed frames.
"Thanks boys!" Peach smiled as they walked out waving. She then turned around and smiled. "It's coming along nicely." She said as she walked over to an old drawer and opened it up to see if Lemony left anything in there.
To her surprise, there was a letter in it as she flipped it over.

"Hmmm, I'll give this to her later." She said as she looked at the bed. "Now, to figure out the sheets…"
"Hey Peachy!" Hapi walked in. "The Rocky Wrench Refurbishers are here."
"Already?" Peach walked out, putting the letter on the bed before she did so, where she would find a group of Rocky Wrenches at the door.
"We're here for refurbishing some old drawers?"
"Right this way, gentlemen."
Meanwhile, at JINXY's home…
"Mmm…" Nyx opened her eyes and stretched, sitting up from her bed and yawned. "Morning…" She said, rubbing her eyes to see Myra still fast asleep in her sleeping bag. She smiled and then turned to the door… to see Xena standing inside the doorway looking surprised. "Uuuuh… how long were you standing there?"
"Long enough."
"You're not… upset that I smuggled her in, are you?"
"Upset? Pffft! No way!" She laughed. "You could've called us and we could've easily teleported her in."
Nyx sweatdropped. "Oh… well, that's awkward. I wasn't sure how well you'd respond if I brought her in."
"Nah, we'd be pretty chill. We like her." Xena winked. "Heck, we talked with Iris after we got Futaba and Jade situated and even Iris likes her."
"Oh good… yes, we can all agree she made a mistake, but this was all because she wanted to give him a gift of friendship… and of course, this Viola girl's out there, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it."
"Yeah." Xena nodded as Myra woke up, stretching.
"Oh, we didn't wake you up, did you?" Nyx asked.
"Not entirely…" Myra chuckled as she spotted Xena. "Oh hey, you two."
"Heya!" Xena smiled as Myra's stomach rumbled, causing her to blush.
"Aheheheh…"
"Not to worry, I'll make some breakfast." Nyx said as they walked out of the room.
As she made breakfast and Myra sat at the table while chatting with Xena, Iris walked into the room smelling the air with her eyes closed. She got closer to the frying pan but Nyx playfully pushed her away. "Down girl!" She laughed.
Iris chuckled, opening her eyes. "Love me some of that bacon." She said as she turned to see Myra. "...Smuggled her in?"
"Yeah."
"I would've made a diversion." Iris snickered. "Besides, she's pretty cool."
Myra smiled. "Thanks, Iris."
Nyx hummed as she continued to make breakfast, making scrambled eggs on top of it right as Jade walked in with Futaba, the former yawning.
"Morning…" Jade greeted and then spotted Myra. "...What the hell is she doing here?"
"Easy, easy…" Futaba said, gently rubbing her shoulder.
"Mmm…"
"It's my house, Jade… I have the final say and you know it. And honestly, I'd say she deserves to stay here."
Jade rolled her eyes. "Whatever…"
"Yaaawn… mornin'..." Rantaro walked in while rubbing his eyes. "Oh, hey Myra…"
Myra gave Rantaro and Futaba a friendly smile while the latter studied her.
Cute, friendly… definitely screams Black Mage. Stylish as heck bangs… yup, this girl's got it all. Love that tie around her ne-... hold on.
"Hey, um… no offense or anything, but that skirt is a bit… off for you." Futaba said.
"Really?" Myra looked down.
"Hmm, come to think of it, it does look a little odd." Xena said.
"You don't really seem like a skirt kind of gal. Pants seem more your speed." Futaba added.
Myra chuckled. "Fair enough. I'll look into it later."
One meal later…
"Alright… I'm ready to go explore more of Toad Town." Myra said. "And later, check that Gold Mine with Wario."
"I'll go with you." Nyx said. "Heck, I'll call up Captain Toad."
"We'll join ya!" Xena smiled
"I'll tag along too." Futaba said. And invite the Thieves over…
"You guys… go do that. I got important things to do." Jade said as she walked out of the home, while also giving Myra the stink eye on the way out.
"She's never gonna like me, is she…" Myra mumbled.
"Give her time." Futaba said.
"Oh, by the way, you're Futaba, right? Jade's girlfriend?"
"Bingo!" Futaba smiled. "Futaba Sakura, nice to meet ya. And you're the infamous Myra Shadowheart that I've heard about."
"That'd be me." Myra chuckled as she stood up before looking straight at the front door. "I'm curious though… who pays all the bills?"
"Considering how stinkin' rich Jade is, she usually takes care of all the bigger bills. Trust me, that electricity bill's a hell of a doozy…" Nyx shook her head. "Though, we all pitch in for groceries… it just seems fair in my eyes."
"Fair enough." Myra nodded as they walked out the door.
BGM: Toad Town (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story plus Bowser Jr's Journey)
"I'm gonna invite some friends over, is that fine?" Futaba asked.
"Sure, I don't mind." Myra nodded.
Nyx pulled out her scroll and called up Captain Toad. "Hey, you up for another tour of Toad Town? I don't think Myra's seen it all yet."
"I was just thinking the same thing. Where are you guys?"
"Just by my house."
"I'll be right over! Heck, I'll see if Nagisa's available."
"Espérame!" (Wait for me!)
They turned to see El Cinco approaching them.
"Oh hey, El… er… Hector. That's gonna take a while to get used to." Nyx said.
"No te preocupes." (Don't worry about it.)
"Uuuuh…" Futaba tilted her head. "Who's this?"
"Oh riiiight, you were busy training with your new abilities…" Iris said. "Futaba, this is El Cinco or Hector Bernal. Hector, this is Futaba."
"Encantada de conocerte." (Pleased to meet you.)
"Spanish? Ah shoot, my Spanish is a bit rusty compared to Jade… um… Por Favor… Rojo… er… lampito…?" She groaned. "How the hell does Jade pull that off so fluently…"
El Cinco chuckled. "Sigue intentándolo, lo conseguirás." (Keep trying, you'll get it.)
"He's encouraging you to keep trying."
"Huh?! Who said that?" Futaba wondered as the Shadow Queen emerged from her staff.
"I did. I'm Vivian Shadowheart, the Shadow Queen. I'm Myra's grandmother."
"Whoa! Hold up!" Futaba exclaimed. "Did you just say "Shadow Queen"? And she's… good? And your name is Vivian?"
"Yes." Vivian nodded.
Futaba jawdropped. "Holy shit, that's incredible! …Though, I feel like if Chiaki were here, she'd have a existential gaming crisis."
"She already had one." Nyx said.
"What?! And I missed it?! Aww, dude… that would've been hilarious to see…"
"I wonder how she's holding up after the news…" Xena said.

Tell me your secrets, Grifty! I want to know this deep hidden lore now… or so help me, I'm hitting the sewers!"

"Probably playing Mario Kart. Splatoon or Tears of the Kingdom. Who knows." Futaba shrugged.
At that moment, Captain Toad arrived with Nagisa joining them. "Oh, hey Futaba." Nagisa said.
"Hey Nagisa." Futaba greeted. "My friends should be arriving at any-"
"Heeeey, Nagisa! What's up, my dude!" Ryuji walked over and fist bumped him.
"Nice to see you guys." Nagisa smiled.
"Who's the new girl?" Ann wondered. "...And… Dry… Wiggler?"
"Ah, shit! We forgot to tell 'em about El Cinco!" Ryuji grimaced.
"I could've sworn we did…" Makoto said.
"Ann, this is El Cinco. El Cinco, this is Ann Takamaki." Akira introduced.
"Hola!"
"Konichiwa!"
"Come on, we can introduce ourselves on day two of the tour!" Captain Toad said as he walked off. "...By the way, is Laxus joining us?"
"He's currently replacing the window at Beacon. Again." Nagisa said.
"Seriously? Have they considered getting a new window?"
"They have. It broke too."
"Elsa and I tried giving it a makeover one time…" Futaba said.
Two days earlier…
Futaba and Elsa aimed their hands as ice proceeded to spray out and filled the window with ice, then Elsa proceeded to snap her fingers for some finishing touches.
"There we go!" Futaba smiled. "A new and improved window that's completely impenetrable with our ice!"
"That should take care of it." Elsa said.
"Thank you, ladies." Ozpin smiled. "This should be the last time it ever happens."
An hour later…
"So, I was thinking that when we start up again, we have Miss Rose-"
"I already have it covered, Glynda. Talked with her before we closed off the school year early." Ozpin explained.
"Oh, okay then. Now then, about the Thunder Legion. You think perhaps they might want to become teachers here?"
Ozpin folded his arms while Mavis happily ate a snow cone. "Laxus and Zapple would be good. I'm not sure about Mercury or Hazel but perhaps-"
Mavis shifted her eyes, noticing the window was melting. Her eyes widened in horror as she jawdropped.
"-Perhaps Mercury might do well as a physical education teacher."
"Um… guys?"
"Isn't that technically cheating considering he's ninety-nine percent cyborg?" Glynda asked.
"Guuuuys!"
"I've considered it, but it could provide inspiration to help out the more athletic huntsmen."
"Perhaps…"
"Guys!"
The two of them looked to Mavis. "What is it?" Ozpin asked as she wordlessly pointed to the window as they turned… and saw the ice and the window melting at the same time. Their eyes widened in shock.
At Sojiro's…
"I'm tellin' ya… there's gotta be a guy out there that you'll probably like." Anna said.
"If there's someone out there who's interested in a queen like me, I'll be ready for him."
"Dude, you're gorgeous. There's no way you wouldn't turn some heads." Anna pointed out.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Futaba yelled as the royal sisters turned their heads.
"What's up?" Anna wondered as Futaba showed them what Mavis had sent them.
"I guess magical ice has met its match…"
"...Dude, that place is cursed." Anna said. "There's no way a window can just keep breaking just like that."
Elsa, meanwhile, looked at her hands in horror. "Anna… am I running a fever?"
Anna felt her forehead. "Let's see… arctic tundra, penguins, Olaf, Marshmallow, Ice Flower… nope, you're still cold blooded."
"I'm being serious!"
"You're fine!"
"How do you explain that though?!"
Back in the present…
"Elsa had an existential crisis for a bit… Olaf had to calm her down." Futaba said.
"I wondered why he was shoving snow in her face…" Akechi mused.
"Well, that stinks… anyway, let's be off, Myra!" Captain Toad walked off.
"Oh, Myra! These are my best buds: Akira Kurusu, also my bro-"

"For real? You from Laxus's era?"
"No, more like… four hundred years in the Mushroom Kingdom's past."
"Ooooooh! Stepped into a time machine?" Ann wondered.

Several stories exchanged while going through Toad Town later…
"Duuuuude, that's effed up as hell." Ryuji said.
"I'm surprised you didn't stop Viola earlier." Akechi said.
"I'm mad at myself for not stopping her… because I could have stopped it all, but I didn't… I viewed her as my friend who was just… quirky. Her stopping me from saving a civilization? I thought it was just her not seeing a way to properly stop the Zuteregeon and she was just stopping me from potentially hurting myself…"
"We all make mistakes we're not proud of." Akira said. "Though we shouldn't let our mistakes define who we are."
"Yeah, after all, you're still the heroine of the Mushroom Kingdom of your time! Even Mario and Luigi make mistakes here and there." Ann pointed out. "Though… probably not as huge as that one…"
"Regardless, you got friends who are willing to help you out." Makoto said. "JINXY is by your side… er, well, INXY. You've got us, Umber, Nanami, I'm pretty sure when RWBY and co come back from their thing, I'm sure they'll be willing to lend a hand."
Myra formed a small smile. "Thanks… I needed to hear that. I've been trying to keep it together after I woke up in a strange, yet familiar world."
"We all have our own bad stories, but we move past that." Morgana said. "Futaba is a major example of that."
"I can tell…" Myra chuckled. "You stopped kicking yourself and now you're back to your old black haired self."
Futaba grinned. "Still feels a bit strange, but I'm definitely used to it. Though I will admit I do kinda miss the orange… buuuut I'll get over it." She smiled.
"I can understand Jade's frustrations though…" Yusuke said. "However, as you said, it was a gift that went horribly wrong. I've a feeling that if Jade looks past that, she'll come around."
"That's what I'm hoping…" Nyx said before lightly hitting Myra on the forearm. "See? You got more support from the Thieves themselves!"
"Yeah… guess I did…" Myra chuckled.
"Alright! Here's the first stop!" Captain Toad said, as Myra looked to see where they stopped at.
"Haltmann Works Ice Cream Factory & Sunset Entertainment…?" Myra sweatdropped. "That's a mouthful."
"Funny thing about the latter, it's slowly becoming one of the biggest talent agencies and record labels in the Mushroom Kingdom despite being new." Captain Toad said. "In fact, I think I heard recently that KK Slider signed a deal."
"KK Slider?!" Nyx said in surprise. "Oh man, I'm a fan of his music. It's calming to listen to when I'm reading a book."
"Reading your joke book, you mean?" Nagisa teased.
Nyx blushed, hearing some snickering from everyone. "I read more than that…"
Myra curiously walked into the Ice Cream Factory with everyone else following.

"Hi, welcome to Haltmann Works' Ice Cream Factory!" A Waddle Dee greeted. "How can I-"
Myra stared at the Waddle Dee, her eyes widening in surprise as she suddenly grabbed him and pulled him away.
"Waaaaah!"
"You are the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life! Do they make marketable plushies out of you?!"
"Uuuuh… maybe?" The Waddle Dee sweatdropped.
"You have to forgive her, she's new in this era. She's never met you before." Futaba whispered.
"Ooooh… but yes, I'm definitely cute!"
"Dammit, maybe we should've done Dreamland after Hyrule…" Nagisa mumbled under his breath with a chuckle.
Myra put the Waddle Dee back. "Sorry… not sure what became of myself…" She said sheepishly.
"Ah, don't worry about it. I've been grabbed and cuddled with all the time!" The Waddle Dee smiled. "Now then, what kind of ice cream would you like?"
Myra looked up, staring at the many many flavors on the menu.
"Just like McGoomba's…" She whimpered.
"Yes, but Haltmann's Ice Cream machine always works." Nyx said.
"I swear McGoomba's just says that because they're too lazy to serve ice cream. Yes, I WILL die on this hill!" Futaba said with her arms folded.
Finally! I'm not the only one who thinks that! Captain Toad thought with a fist pump.
"Um… you got any chocolate?" Myra asked.
"What flavor?" Waddle Dee asked, showing off the many different flavors of chocolate.
…You gotta be kidding me! Myra whimpered. "Um… regular?"
"Regular chocolate cream it is!"
"Phew…"
"Now what kind of toppings do you want?" He asked, as the electronic menu showed off the many different toppings.
Myra felt more weight hit her shoulders. "Suh-seriously?"
"...Really? Pumpkin spice?" Ryuji scratched his head. "THAT'S a topping now?"
"Aaaagh, just give me rainbow sprinkles!" Myra sighed in defeat.
"Coming right up!"
"Oh thank darkness…" Myra sighed in relief with her hand over her heart.
"So, did you have ice cream back in your time?" Morgana asked.
"Yeah, but it was just vanilla and chocolate. Though, before I left for the Kingdom of Myths, they were just introducing strawberry ice cream." Myra said and then looked at the menu. "Goodness me, how far ice cream has advanced…"
"I have to say… this is definitely not newcomer friendly." Iris said. "I never really thought of it until now."
"I'll say." Makoto agreed.
"Here ya go, miss!" The Waddle Dee handed her the ice cream.
"Thanks." Myra smiled as she ate the ice cream. Her eyes widened in surprise as the taste. "...Whoa."
"Yeah, you're probably more used to the taste in your time. Here? It's more than likely different." Captain Toad said.
"It's more delicious than my own era~!" Myra's eyes sparkled as she happily ate as they walked out, and by the time they made it to the next block, she had already finished eating the cone.

"Wow, you really liked that, huh?" Xena giggled.
"Definitely has a different texture and taste… and by golly, I liked it!"
"Maybe one of these days, you oughta try gelato. It's actually better than ice cream." Nagisa said.
"Oh? Interesting!"

"Hmm?" Xena turned her head to the source of the music. "Oh hey, sounds like a street performance is going on."
"They're definitely close by." Ann said as they walked toward the source.
"By the way, did you have any street performers in your era?" Akira asked.
Myra rubbed her chin thoughtfully. "If there was, I probably never noticed." She shrugged. "That said, if you're wondering about music in my era, well… I did like the easy listening songs you hear on a piano. Folk music wasn't too bad either."
"You, my friend, are gonna be in for a treat!" Captain Toad said as he guided her to the performance in question where they saw Sea5ons dancing and singing, although Cardin had been replaced by Leon, where they also saw Komaru and Toko having set up some medium sized Bluetooth speakers, and Kotoko was also there holding Mine's 4K video camcorder, immediately going for different angles while Taka, Chihiro, Mondo and Sayaka were cheering Leon on.
"Um… what genre is this?" Myra tilted her head.
"This, my friend, is a mixture of pop and hip-hop. Pop-hop, as I like to call it." Captain Toad said.
"That word's never catching on…" Nagisa mumbled under his breath.
"Pop-hop?" The others wordlessly mouthed with weirded out expressions.
"Um… I don't know what they're saying…"
"Suena a japonés." (Sounds like Japanese.)
"That's because they're singing in Japanese. Don't worry, I've written down what they're saying because I happen to be fluent in Japanese myself." Captain Toad then dug into his backpack.
"You're probably fluent in it because you listened to us speak it before." Ryuji teased, hearing a snicker from his fellow Phantom Thieves while Ann playfully backhanded his chest.
"Ha ha, very funny…" Captain Toad rolled his eyes.
"They're actually really good." Nyx said as Captain Toad found what he was looking for.
"Ah, here we are!" He handed the notes to Myra as she looked through the notebook, only to sweatdrop at the sight of the language.
"Are these all… scribbles? How am I supposed to read this?" She tilted her head. "I swear, it's… really fancy cursive that I can't comprehend!"
"Ah, that's just how we write in our language." Ann said. "That's basically Katakana."
"Oooo… kaaaaaay?"
"Esta es una caligrafía notable…" (This is remarkable penmanship…)

Once the song ended, Leon's friends cheered and hugged Leon who was blushing a bit. "Man, you really know how to liven it up!" Ling said.
"Yeah, you were great!" Kokoro smiled.
"I didn't know you could dance like that!" Sayaka smiled.
"Ahehehe…~" Leon rubbed his head with a bashful grin. "Didn't know I had it in me!"
"Leon, my man, that was incredible!" Mondo smiled, wrapping his arm around him.
"I know I'm not Cardin, but even guys like me could know how to shine in their own way." Leon said, fist bumping Taka and high fiving Chihiro.
"Hmm?" Kokoro turned her head to INXY and co. "Oh hey guys!" She waved as she walked toward them with Kotoko joining them.
"Who's the new girl?" Kotoko asked. "...And… huh… never seen a Dry Wiggler before."
"I can fill you in on that." Nagisa said, giving them the recap on Myra and El Cinco.
"Oh my!" Kokoro said.
"Oh… both need a hug." Kotoko frowned.
"Hmm, I'm curious…" Myra said. "I wonder what the social scenery is like in Toad Town these days."
"Oh!" Kotoko immediately got in front of her. "There's a dance club in the Shroob District called Club Cortinarius and a tragic mocktail bar called Juice It!. Friday nights are basketball games. Tailgate parties usually take place at the Coconut Mall parking lot. Saturday night is a movie night at Spike's Drive-In Theater. I advise getting there really early because they don't have reserved outdoor seating or parking spots. And Sunday nights? Thank Oum for Blix."
"...Wait a minute, drive in theaters are still a thing?" Haru whispered.
"Apparently." Akechi shrugged.
Myra blinked, unsure of what to think of Kotoko butting in. "Ummm…"
Kotoko giggled. "Oh, right, Where are my manners? My name is Kotoko Strauss. Ultimate Actress and Future Foundation agent under the fifteenth branch." She gave her a wink. "Aaaand this is my bestie and partner in crime, Kokoro! Though we call her Kokoron as a nickname."
"...Now I'm a partner in crime?" Kokoro sweatdropped.
"So this is what a Faunus looks like…" Myra said, staring at her ocelot ears. "Goodness me, those ears are adorable!"
"Ídem!" El Cinco agreed. (Ditto!)
Kokoro blushed. "Thank you…"
"So… um… mind if I…?"
Kokoro knew what she was going to ask. "Sure!" She giggled. "But please be gentle with them…" She requested as she took off her newsboy cap as Myra gently played with her ears, while at the same time, both girls shared stories with Myra.
"Wow… that's amazing how a young girl like you were able to make you way through the music world through pure talent and hard work at such a young age."
"Mhm!" Kokoro nodded.
"By the way-" Myra finally pulled her hand away from her ears. "How old are you again?"
"Oh, I'm thirteen." She giggled. "Although, I'll be fourteen by next month."
Kotoko, who was chatting with the Phantom Thieves, overheard the words "fourteen by next month". She lightly gasped. "Chotto shitsureishimasu!" (If you'll excuse me a moment!)
Nagisa was busy chatting with Captain Toad and INXY when Kotoko grabbed his arm. "C'mere a sec!" She said and pulled him away.
"Wah!" Nagisa yelped.
"Okay, I just overheard my bestie… she's gonna be turning fourteen in a month!"
"Really? It's almost her birthday?"
"Yeah, I didn't know it was in June!" Kotoko said, desperately trying to contain her excitement. "Okay, here's what we're gonna do-"
She immediately brought out her scroll and started to create a private group chat.
"Attention everyone! Kokoron's birthday is next month! We need to plan it PRONTO!"

"Gah!" Kotoko yelped. "How could that sweet little owl forget about me? We were in Skyloft together…" She said, anime tears running down her cheeks.
Nagisa patted her on the back. "There there, she'll remember you in no time. Though I'm surprised you didn't add Dipper and Mabel in there."
"Oh!" Kotoko proceeded to add them in.
"OMG! A PARTY FOR KOKORON?! I'M IN!" - Mabel
"Oh no… what have you done?" - Dipper
Nagisa looked up from his scroll. "Wait, Kotoko. Your birthday is on June thirteenth, right?"
"Yeeeeah? Why do you-" Realization hit Kotoko like a truck. "Wait! That would mean… oh my Oum, Kokoron and I are June babies! Ooooh, I wonder if I convince Mabel to do a big birthday party with the two of us!"
He chuckled. "I'll see you around." Nagisa walked off as Captain Toad went on to proceed with the tour again. He also made a note to put his scroll on silent as to not be bombarded with every notification from existence.
"Alriiiiight, since we're in a music mood…" Captain Toad walked near a building. "That right over there is the Paratroopa Karaoke, which rose in popularity no thanks to Sea5ons and Epiphany… though Kokoro basically became the "poster girl" of the establishment being their number one favorite customer."
"Oh?" Myra walked into the building out of curiosity, seeing a lot of folks going in and out of rooms and singing their hearts out.
"You want to sing your heart out?" Captain Toad asked.
"Nah… I'm not in the mood right now." Myra said.
"Fair enough!"
"...Wait…" Myra turned her head to the source of a song. "...You mind if I-"
"Take a listen? Go for it, no one minds an audience!" The Paratroopa said as Myra walked to one of the rooms.

Myra listened closely to the lyrics, closing her eyes while a Wiggler sang its heart out with a Ninji and a Koopa accompanying him.
"Remember me… for centuries…" She repeated the words as tears swelled in her eyes as she turned around and walked out.
"Oooooh, that's some bad timing…" Ryuji grimaced as they walked after her.

Myra stood in front of the doors, a few yards in front of the building as she sniffled a little while trying to keep her composure. "You okay?" Nyx asked.
"K-Kinda… I… I didn't think that song would hit me harder than it should." She looked up in the sky. "Remember me for centuries… how can I be remembered for that long when I disappeared from everyone? Mostly everyone I know is dead-"
Nyx wrapped her arms around her to hug her.
"Though… I remember you said I'm in a history book, so I guess I am remembered, though I don't think I'm the talk of the town like I'm used to."
With a deep breath, she exhaled and slapped her cheeks. "Okay. I'm good. Thanks Nyx."
"No prob." She smiled.
"You're not getting out of a hug that easily~" Haru hugged her tight. "Shhh, it's gonna be okay… we're all here…"
"Oh… I needed that…" Myra smiled as Haru pulled away. "Hector, how are you feeling with that song?"
"Duele profundamente, pero estaré bien." (It hurts deep, but I'll be alright.)
"C'mere~!" Haru hugged him as well.
"Gracias, seniorita…" El Cinco smiled.
"Okay, I'm ready to go." Myra said.
"Alright, now on to the next place!" Captain Toad walked through Toad Town with the rest following. "By the way, you ever had all you can eat buffets in your era?"
"I've never heard of the concept…"
"Well, basically, you go into the restaurant, the waitress will guide you to your seats… and then you can go to the bars and find anything you want. Pizza, corn dogs, spaghetti, mini cheeseburgers, malasadas, curry, sushi, chicken parm, salads, french fries, scrambled eggs, toast, steak-"
"Steak?" Myra's eyes sparkled.
"-Tacos, oh yeah… when it's all you can eat, they mean it!" Captain Toad pointed toward Shy Guy Buffett. "Like the most famous all you can eat buffet!"
"Ooooooh my…." Myra said.
"They even have dessert like ice cream, cookies, brownies, a chocolate fountain, Iris walking into the buffet in a zombie-like state, cupcakes, miniature ca-... uh oh."
"I got it." Nyx aimed her crossbow, firing it as an arrow opened up and trapped Iris in a net.
"Ack!" She yelped, as she fired another arrow that acted like a fishing line as she reeled her in.
"I got a big one~!" Nyx giggled.
"Foiled again…" Iris mumbled.
Rantaro freed her up. "Speaking with your stomach again, I see."
"I just wanted to see what they had today…" Iris shifted her eyes.
"Well hey, if you guys are hungry, I know a place that has delicious fluffy pancakes." Captain Toad walked off as Xena telekinetically pulled Iris away from the buffet.
"Whoa, what's this place?" Myra wondered.
"Cafe Cirrostratus!" Captain Toad walked in with the others.
"Hello, welcome to Cafe Cirrostratus." A Lakitu greeted. "Table for… uh… you guys?"
"Yes." Myra nodded as the Lakitu guided them to a few booths and took everyone's orders while Myra was still deciding. "Um… I'll take… uh… the chocolate chip pancakes."
"Excellent choice."
At that moment, Futaba casually glanced over at the banned list.

"Huh?!" Futaba said in surprise. "Why's Chiaki on that list?"
"Hmm? Oh, well, girl decided to wait on her food by pulling out her Switch and played a game while she waited. We have a strict "no video game" policy in here."
Captain Toad looked at the Lakitu in surprise as he floated away. "Since when? I bring in a Game Boy Advance all the time…" He folded his arms in annoyance. "Not our faults you guys take forever despite you being on clouds…"
"Okay, I have to know." Futaba pulled out her phone and texted Chiaki.
Girl, why the hell are you banned from Cafe Cirrostratus?
Apparently, they have a new "no video game" policy… which is total BS because I bring my DS, Switch, Vita or Steam Deck all the time. - Chiaki

I was just playing some Minecraft, I didn't think it was that big of a deal. Apparently it was "distracting" the other patrons because of how loud it was when in reality, I had the console on mute. No one really cared. I was even paying attention to when the Lakitu was coming with my order.
Sooooo, one of the Lakitus was a big fat Karen?

Futaba shook her head. "Idiots…" She mumbled under her breath and showed the conversation with her fellow thieves.
"...What?" Ann tilted her head.
"Wooooow… that's uncalled for…" Ryuji mumbled.
"How strict can one restaurant be?" Makoto wondered.
Several pancakes later…
"That was delicious." Myra said, rubbing her belly. "Alright, what's next?"
"Away from this buzzkill of an establishment." Captain Toad said as he guided them away.
"I don't remember them being so strict…" Nyx said. "Maybe it's a change of staff."
"That's probably it." Xena shrugged.
"I've heard a few complaints that the cafe is not what it used to be…" Nagisa said.
"When did they start going downhill?" Iris wondered.
"No one can pinpoint the exact time." Nagisa shrugged.
"Ah, I know a really cool district!" Captain Toad walked off with the others following, where Myra would see a lot of purple mushroom homes and the vehicles were nothing but UFOs flying around. She even saw a few Shroobs wandering around.
"What… the heck?" Myra wondered.
"This… is the Shroob District. It's also where you can find Club Cortinarius where they hold dance competitions. In fact, just the other day, Hiyoko Saionji got kicked off of her throne when a Shroob managed to beat her in a dance off. Though, rumor has it that she just went easy on them and felt bad for them since she kicked their butts every so often. She claims she was having an off day, yet I don't think anyone believes her."
One UFO flew by, spotted the group and did a friendly wave with a claw before flying off toward the center of Toad Town.
"Goodness me…" Myra mused, seeing a few Toad Kids playing with some Shroob kids while the mothers chatted. "Who are these guys?"
"They're called the Shroobs." Captain Toad said as they walked away after showing Myra the Shroob community. "And let me tell ya, they did not come in peace."
One explanation later as they were walking through town…
"Oh my… and now they're just hanging around and being friendly with everyone?"
"Yup." Nyx nodded. "I saw a few of them being cordial with everyone in the grocery store the other day. In fact, I think one of them was a cashier."
"Whoa…"
"Yeah, pretty wild…" Captain Toad nodded.
At that moment, Myra took notice of the hospital, blinking in surprise. "Wow, that's… changed over the centuries. I remember when it was just a small clinic."
"It's definitely grown." Ann said as they saw Mikan and Yasuke walking out, both of them chatting.
"You guys heading for lunch?" Nagisa asked.
"Actually, we're done for the day." Mikan said.
"Wait, seriously? The head nurse clocking out early?" Captain Toad asked.
"I decided to make my shift a little light today." Mikan explained.
"Who's the new girl?" Yasuke asked.
"I'm Myra Shadowheart… and you'd be-...?"
"Mikan Tsumiki, a pleasure to meet you." Mikan bowed.
"Yasuke Matsuda."
Three stories later, and Mikan giving Myra a hug…
"We're here if you need anything." Mikan said gently.
"Yeah, what she said." Yasuke said as they walked off.
"Huh, he's usually a lot moodier than that from what I've heard." Nyx said.
"Think Junko might have something to do it with it?" Rantaro wondered.
Nyx shrugged. "I dunno."
"Oh! Oh shoot!" Myra said. "Crap, I just remembered the commitment with Wario we made with him last night! I was so caught up with learning about the new sights in Toad Town, it slipped my mind!"
"Why would you make a commitment with that guy?" Captain Toad asked as Nyx whispered in his non-existent ear. "Oooooh…"
"Sorry, I hate to cut the tour short…"
"No worries! If I ever think of something else, I'll show ya." Captain Toad smiled as Myra smiled back.
"Thanks." She nodded as they took off, with the Thieves deciding to join them.
Later…
"I was beginning to think you wouldn't have come!" Wario said.
"Sorry, got distracted by another tour of my hometown." Myra said. "So… shall we then?"
"Yes." Wario nodded as a Wiggler Bus soon pulled up as they got in.
"Where to?" The bus driver asked.
"My gold mine! Step on it!"
"Very well." He nodded as he drove off, driving through a Warp Pipe tunnel that took them back to the Mushroom Kingdom and went straight for the mine.
"Sooo… what do you do when you wind down?" Myra asked, sitting next to Nyx.
"Well, it depends. If I'm going for just a short break, I'll just go and read either in the big cushy chair in the living room or out in the back porch if I wanna listen to the rain or something like that. Bigger breaks, I'll usually go camping out in the woods and go on a hunting trip. Just me and nature."
"Nice."
"For us, we head over to Alola and Mantine Surf, or hang out with Umber's friends." Xena said.
"I just typically train… I'm trying to relax, but given Amon's out there…" Iris sighed. "Though I'm not opposed to hanging out by the beach."
Myra smiled. "That's cool. I bet the Thieves do their own thing." She looked to the side where the Thieves were chatting amongst themselves while Wario was busy eating garlic.
The Wiggler Bus came to a stop. "Here we are!" The driver said as everyone walked out as the bus driver drove away.
"...It's a race track too?" Myra gave Wario a dirty look.
"Don't look at me! It wasn't my idea!"
Myra immediately looked around, seeing buildings attached to the canyon walls with some steam coming out of some yellow Warp Pipes. She immediately walked into the mines, not caring if any Swoops flew overhead.
Everyone else followed her as Myra continued to walk through, noticing a ramp that was meant for tricking off as she found some stairs where she walked down and hit the ground, continuing her advancement as the group followed her down.
However, as Myra progressed, she came across a big open room filled with gold and minecarts… and one giant monster that had decided to take a nap inside of it. "What the…?"
Everyone else caught up to her. "Hey, did you find your- whoa!" Futaba spoke up as they saw the monster in question. "...Holy shit, that's a Kulve Taroth!"
At that moment, the Kulve Taroth woke up with a yawn where she spotted the group and walked over to investigate them. As she sniffed them, she seemingly smiled and nuzzled them. "Hehehe, friendly, aren't we~?" Myra giggled as she petted it.
"Let's see… I know Cardin wrote some notes about this one." Nyx said, pulling out her scroll. "Where is it."
Wario, meanwhile, stared at the gold on the Kulve Taroth's back. He drooled at the sight of it as dollar signs appeared in his eyes.
Kaching!
"Ah, here we go… according to what Cardin wrote, Kulve Taroths are Elder Dragons that are typically very docile and only the females have been discovered-"
Wario climbed up the tail, no one the wiser aware of what he was doing as they were petting the Kulve Taroth.
"However, Kulve Taroth get aggressive when you take the gold off of their bodies. Okay, so basically, don't be greedy and stupid-... WAIT, where's Wario?!" Nyx looked around in a panic.

Nyx facepalmed as Wario proceeded to use a pickaxe to chip away at the gold. "I'm rich! I'm rich! I'm rich! Wahahahaha!"
"WARIO, YOU IDIOT!" Nyx yelled.
Iris readied her gunblade. "Welp… this is a problem."
At that moment, the Kulve Taroth's calm nature immediately turned hostile as she let out a loud roar and shook Wario off of her body, who had immediately shoved the gold in a bag.
"Finders keepers, loser!" Wario said, blowing a raspberry at the Elder Dragon.

Angered Over Greed and Stupidity - Kulve Taroth
The Kulve Taroth roared as Wario made his getaway before she turned to face the group in anger. "Quick! Someone go after that idiot!" Nyx said.
"I'm on it!" Morgana said, quickly turning into a bus as Haru jumped in and took the wheel while everyone else went into their Phantom Thief attire.
"Es siempre un idiota?" (Is he always an idiot?)
"Unfortunately, yes!" Nyx said.
The Kulve Taroth immediately headbutted them, but they would avoid the attack as Oracle lifted herself off the ground and boosted everyone's defense while Myra proceeded to throw in dark lightning at the beast.
Nyx fired arrows at the Kulve Taroth while El Cinco proceeded to fire a barrage of bullets at the Kulve Taroth while Queen jumped in and punched the beast away. The Kulve Taroth headbutted Queen shortly after, knocking her into a wall but she recovered as Crow went in and slashed her.
At that moment, the Kulve Taroth proceeded to breathe superheated air as the gold around them started to turn liquid. "Shit, this thing's melting gold!" Skull whimpered.
"We have to be careful!" Joker said, proceeding to shoot at the dragon to get her attention. The Kulve Taroth responded by unleashing a powerful fire breath attack at Oracle and Fox, but they quickly got out of the way as Oracle brought out her ray gun and proceeded to shoot her with ice lasers.
Yagami came out of Xena as they both unleashed a powerful telekinetic wave, but the Kulve Taroth jumped out of the way and charged forward, attempting to ram them but they flew out of the way as Iris prepared herself and parried her with her gunblade, and together with Rantaro, they both proceeded to slash at the beast.
Meanwhile…
Wario, on his Wario Bike, noticed he was being tailed by Haru. "I don't think so!" He said, pulling out a walkie talkie. "Anyone who's working in here, get the item boxes out!" He ordered as item boxes soon dropped into the area.
"Wahahahaha!" Wario drove off.
Haru smirked. "Nanami and Futaba's not the only one good at Mario Kart!" She said. "Get ready, Mona!"
"I'm ready!"
Wario drove over an item box as did Haru, the former getting a banana peel while the GPS on Morgana's dashboard revealed a red shell. Haru immediately pressed a button as it was launched from Morgana's grill.
"Hmmm? Heh!" Wario dropped the banana peel, immediately canceling it out as Wario drifted a corner and drove through a tunnel with Haru doing the same thing, only unlike Wario, she got a mini turbo and drove through the tunnel.
Wario popped a wheelie to pick up speed, hitting another item box as did Haru, both of them jumping off of a ramp as Wario and Morgana did a few flips before landing on the ground. However, Wario's wheels activated in anti gravity as Wario threw a green shell their way.
"Yowch!" Morgana yelped.
"Wahahahaha! You don't have anti gravity installed! I'm-a gonna win!"
"Not for long!" Haru said, punching the item in question as Morgana suddenly transformed into a Cat Bullet Bill as Haru rode on top of him, both of them gaining immense speed.
Once they were in range, everything turned to slow mo as Haru picked up the bag as Wario turned his head.
"Waaaaaaaah?!"
Haru playfully pulled her eye socket down and stuck her tongue out as she gracefully made a U-Turn, making sure for Wario to eat the smoke coming out of the Bullet Bill as she took off with the bag in hand, then everything went back to normal speed.
"Hey! HEY! You get back here!"
Back with the others, the Kulve Taroth unleashed a powerful fire breath, where the flames were suddenly manipulated and struck the Kulve Taroth.
"Nice one, Panther!" Skull praised.
"Um, that wasn't me!"
"I can't believe that worked…" Oracle said. Thank you, Raven! She thought with a smirk as she unleashed a frosty blizzard, where it would turn to steam with the Kulve Taroth's flames, where Queen threw in an uppercut to knock the beast back as Myra threw in a Dark Diamond Saw.
At that moment, Haru came driving in and drifted to a halt, turning Morgana's back end to face them as she walked out and tossed the bag toward Xena. "Quick, put it back on the monster!"
Xena opened it up. "Yagami!"
"On it!" Yagami grabbed the gold and teleported behind the Kulve Taroth while Xena telekinetically held the beast at bay, while Yagami glued it back on and placed it back on the Elder Dragon.

The Kulve Taroth turned her head to see the gold on her back, which calmed her down and then gently nuzzled Yagami, causing her to giggle.
"Phew…" Nyx sighed with relief. "Thanks Haru."
"You're welcome~!" Haru smiled with a graceful bow.
Wario pulled up. "My gold!"
"You can live without this, dude." Nyx shook her head. "Besides, she's a lot nicer with it."
"Mmm, I suppose…" Wario mumbled. "So, no hard feeli-"
The Kulve Taroth breathed fire toward Wario, making him a big ball of fire. "AAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAAAH!" He ran around screaming with Myra gasping in horror while everyone else either grimaced or just watched with "Deserved" in their eyes.
"AAAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAAAH!" Wario ran uncontrollably outside… until he ran off a cliff, which he didn't realize until he looked down.
"Oh my god! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
THUD!
Myra looked down along with Nyx. "Is he okay?!"
"Remember when I said he's hard to kill?"
"Oooooh… that hurt…."
"He'll be fine. He always walks it off."
"...Oh."
"By the way, Nyx…!" Wario called out to her.
"Yeah? What is it?"
"Remember when you took a share of my company? You're technically a part of the WarioWare family now…"
"Oh, okay…"
It slowly dawned on Nyx. "HUH?! WAIT, I'M AN EMPLOYEE OF YOUR COMPANY?!"
"Huh, that's a twist." Xena said.
"Oooogh… yes, you're working for me now… uuuugh, can anyone throw me an ice pack…?"
Nyx turned around with widened eyes. "I don't even know how to make games, let alone make electronics…"
"Hmmm, I think Chihiro would help with that." Futaba said.
"Hey, where's Myra?" Akira wondered.
Meanwhile…
Myra wandered around the mine. "Come on, it's gotta be here somewhere…" She said, soon finding an opening in a wall that she immediately recognized. It was untouched by Wario's shenanigans.
Her eyes widened as she immediately walked through the opening, climbing up some steps and walked through a passageway until she walked into an open room.
The hideout in question had an old lamp hanging on a pillar, where there were dusty beanbag chairs next to some walls with a window that was carved open for a view of the canyon.
There was also a table above the lamp with a dusty notebook and a feather pen. She walked over to it and lit the lamp with her dark fire.
She opened it up, reading the first page.

I found this cave within this canyon that's perfect for enhancing my magical capabilities. I even carved open a window so I can have a nice view of the canyon. There's even a snowy mountain nearby too. It's perfect! I should definitely come here often.
Myra smiled, reading the journal entries until she saw that it stopped around May the following year.
She looked at the feather pen near the ink as she dipped it in and started to write in the journal on a fresh new page.
May 11th, 400 Years Later
I'm home.
