Things were going haywire. Everyone in Bumblyburg was having a panic mode. But nothing could prepare them for what is going to be revealed.

Dark Crow and his brother were working with the police onto Larryboys whereabouts as the two girl hero's 'who had no luck searching the same place' were walking around.

"Well there was no sign of Larryboy or Alterego and his posse." Lemon Twist said.

"Yeah no kidding. Besides we searched there twice and no one has been there since. I hope we find him in time." Le-Purple Rouge (Vogue) said with worry.

"We will find him and save him like last time. Still it was scary seeing him like that. His entire body covered in scars." Lemon Twist said. 'Looking down on the ground'.

"These bad things are just popping out of nowhere. He was unlucky." Le-Purple Rouge replied with a sigh.

Suddenly multiple fire trucks from the Bumblyburg fire department rushed passed them.

following them are multiple police cars and multiple ambulances.

"What's going on?" Le-Purple Rouge asked in surprised as Lemon Twist.

"We gotta report of a fire, and so many injured civilians lassies?" Officer Scooter answered as he stopped the car 'as she asked the question'.

Then he speeds off 'following the others'.

Not long after, The lady heroes followed to the scene.

When they arrived at the location, they were surprised to see a building 'owned by one of the villains 'an acquaintance of Mother Pearl' was burning up. On the lawn 'multiple civilians' (Infected, hurt, wounded badly, tortured, and also burned) were being treated or hurried into the gurney by multiple ambulance attendants.

Fire men and women were doing what they can to put out the giant & blazing fire.

Lemon Twist and Le-Purple Rouge looked at the horror as Officer Scooter and Officer Olaf were helping the other cops take a look at the crime scene.

"Officer Olaf! We need more ambulances over here!!" An attendant shouted.

"A few more are on the way right now!" Officer Olaf replied.

"Good Lord. There has been more injured lads and lassies than we thought me old friend." Officer Scooter said in worry.

"I agree. This is more serious than we thought. They never even taught us deeper situations in the police academy." Officer Olaf replied to the old man.

"Hey Officers! There's a dead body in the flames!" A fireman shouted while trying to put out the fire with the others.

"I see 5 more bodies over here!!" A firewoman shouted at the other side.

"What is happening?" Lemon Twist asked.

That was when Diego El-Uva (Dark Crow) walks to them and answers, "Well we got a sudden report about a sudden disturbance. A jogger was passing by here when he sees these people lying down injured. That was when he saw the fire gone a blaze. He had to make a quick phone call."

Aleho notices something about the injured people on the gurneys as he gasped.

"Hermano! Don't these people look like the missing people from LollyHaven and Bumblyburg?!" Aleho asked.

Diego looks at them and had the same expression.

"You are absolutely right Aleho. They are. All of them are." Diego said as the two heroic ladies were shocked to hear this.

"Uhh..." An individual groaned as he squinted his closed eyes.

Diego and Aleho gasped before they see one of them was awoken.

"Hey. Senor wake up. Hey." Diego said to the individual as he opened his eyes 'revealing to be blind'.

"What has happened Senor?" Aleho asked.

"H-He k-killed t-the cults... E-every last o-one of them..." The individual replied as best her could.

"He? Who does he mean?" Aleho asked in worry.

"I dunno! But my 2 main concerns are LarryBoy's safety and the city." Diego whispered to his younger brother.

That was when the cops dragged the bodies out as soon as the fire was out.

"OKAY! WE'RE ALL GOOD!!" A firefighter shouted.

"This is real grim there Scooter." Olaf said to Scooter.

"Aye lad. Never thought things can go this low." Scooter replied as he tipped his hat up a little.

"Officer Scooter! Officer Olaf!" An officer shouted as he rushed to them.

"Lieutenant Tucker. What's the status?" Olaf asked.

"Sir. One of the cult members was spared. He was a witness to the crimes. Claim he was blackmailed by MotherPearl." Tucker explained.

Once the two Officers and Diego arrived to the said member 'who was explaining the whole story about Mother Pearl blackmailing him into doing it'.

"What had happened? Did you do it?" Olaf asked the member.

"No. I didn't. I was spared cause he knew I was blackmailed. I mean. She had my family in a cage. My wife! My daughter! Both were injured and possibly suffering!!" The member answered.

"We had confirmed it when the wife and daughter were found by a nearby wooded area." A female officer said 'escorting the wife and daughter to the ambulance'.

"I see. Well we may wanna charge him for being an accomplice however he will help know what's going on here." Olaf suggested.

"Aye old friend." Scooter said.

"Laddie. Who or what caused this?" Scooter asked the member.

"Listen. We'll let you off with a warning if you explain what has happened here and who caused this." Diego said.

"MotherPearls acquaintance and the rest of the members were murdered. Mercilessly. I witnessed it yet I was spared. He knew I was blackmailed." The member explained.

"Who? Alterego and his posse?" Diego asked.

"Only one of his posse but she wasn't alone. Alterego wasn't even with her." The member answered.

"But who?" Olaf asked.

"I dunno. But listen. The one who murdered the cults and spared me. The person with the button eyed lady. I was scared when I first saw him. I assume he was Alteregos new friend. Possibly an assassin. I didn't get a look at his face but he wore black from head to toe. Egos suit was edgy. His skin was pale, he was also wearing a hood. I coulda sworn his eyes were red." The member explained.

"I see... What do you know about this mysterious assailant?" Diego asked.

"Do you mind leaving this to me and Olaf lad?" Scooter asked.

"Steady there old friend. Diego is the best prosecutor of LollyHaven." Olaf replied to Scooter.

Scooter nodded before resuming the interrogation.

"Well? I dunno. Alterego and his posse or 'The Freaks' as the button eyed lady described the group. Have a heavy purpose. But the assassin she was with. He calls himself 'The Black Hood' due to his hood colored black." The member explained.

"Was there anything else about this 'Black Hood'?" Diego asked.

"Come to think of it. He had some scars on his body. One scar was around his neck. I assumed he was hung or something. Looked a little similar to the one Larryboy had when... Well you know." The member said uneasily.

That information was surprising as Alfred 'who wanted to see if there was any update on LarryBoy's search' heard the information and gasped.

"Scars? Like fresh ones or healed ones?" Officer Olaf asked?

"Healed ones. I mean it was noticeable especially the scar around his neck." The member answered.

Aleho and Diego looked at each other as they had a worried expression.

"It's uncanny brother. But..." Aleho whispered to Diego.

"But it's our lead to get Larryboy back." Diego replied.

But the grim crime scene was only the beginning.
