Chapter 3: Lonely Peter

(12 years later…)

Year: 2025

Location: New York City

The screen cuts to New York City with a gong playing in the background with Twelve Years Later.

9 months have passed since Dr. Stephen Strange erased the memories of everyone learning who Spider-Man is now everyone in his life had forgotten him even the Starks, his Aunt May is gone, Peter Parker now on his own…

He lives now in a small apartment and hardly knows how to pay rent. He didn't get to finish high school so now homeschooled and he had no money for college so weekends he took pictures of himself as Spider-Man for the Daily Bugle.

Peter still upholds his promise to his Uncle Ben with Great Power Comes Great Responsibility to honor his Aunt May and protect the city as Spider-Man.

But it hasn't always been easy. Peter sometimes goes to midtown high to check on his friends, even his best friend: Ned Leeds, even though they don't remember him…

Especially his former girlfriend: Michelle Jones MJ.

Every evening he goes to the diner she works at to make sure she's okay.

When she almost fell to her death he never felt more grateful to Peter 3 for saving her but hated he had to leave her behind to protect her.

Also Peter would go to the homeless shelter where May worked in ChinaTown F.E.A.S.T.

It was the only place of May he had left in this world which is why he would go there to donate charity.

(Later at Central Park…)

One day Spidey was on patrol near Central Park and happened to glide to a car chase…

And land on the hood of the car.

"Hey guys don't you know this is a no free way?" Spider-Man asked.

"Eat leg Webhead!" Driver said.

The driver shoots but Spidey dodges it and breaks in through the top and web yanks the wheel turning it crashing to a wall of a building the cops chasing him were coming and he webs up out of here for them to arrest him.

Spidey unmasked and had pictures taken with his cell phone...

"Perfect." Peter said.

(Later at Daily Bugle…)

We come to the Daily Bugle.

Where Peter takes pictures of Spider-Man for Peter hated working there cause the publisher J. Jonah Jameson had always accused Spider-Man of being a menace apart from that he made the report when Quinten Beck exposed his identity and accused Spider-Man of the murders that took place during the events of No Way Home Jameson even blamed Spider-Man for May's death...

But despite Peter's feelings on him it was the only place he could make money for college rent and food.

Peter showed Jameson the pics he took and well got a harsh opinion of course.

"Spider-Man causing car accidents! Destruction of public property! This will make real front page news!" Jameson called.

"Mr. Jameson…the driver he stopped was being chased by Police." Peter said.

"Course only to steal glory from good cops." Jameson said.

Peter nodded in disbelief he really wanted to stand up to Jameson but knew he couldn't without exposing himself…AGAIN.

"I'll give you three hundred bucks for them." Jameson said.

"Three hundred? That's a little low for rent." Peter said.

"Fine, five hundred. Give this to the girl outside. Come back when you get more shots of that masked menace!" Jameson said.

Peter took the check he gave him and left the office and came to the front desk to Peter's surprise Jameson's new assistant…was one of his former classmates: Betty Brant.

"Betty?" Peter asked.

Betty looked up to him and out of the result of Dr. Strange's spell when she looked at Peter confused how he knew her name…

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" Betty asked.

Peter forgot for a moment that his friends no longer remembered him and he had to make up an excuse.

"Uh…sorry…I…I thought you were somebody else." Peter said.

"Somebody with the same name as me?" Betty asked.

"Yeah…kinda. I'm Peter Parker." Peter said.

"Well Peter Parker it's nice to meet you." Betty said.

"Nice to meet you. Um…Mr. Jameson told me to give this to you." Peter said.

Peter hands Betty the check.

"Ahh. So you're the mysterious Spider-Man photographer? Everyone at my school wondered where those up close pictures come from." Betty said.

"They did, huh?" Peter asked.

Hearing that brought Peter relief they wondered about him but it still saddened him they didn't know they knew him...

Betty approves the check giving Peter what he needs to pay his rent.

"Thank you." Peter said.

"Have a nice day Mr. Parker." Betty said.

"Peter. You too." Peter said.

Peter walked away as happy he was to see Betty again it made him feel more alone that she doesn't remember him reminding him neither would anyone else if he ran into them.

While on patrol it was raining and Pete in his suit stood on top of the Empire State Building taking today anyway he could.

(Later at F.E.A.S.T., evening…)

As that evening rolled Pete came to F.E.A.S.T. shelter to donate food for everyone there.

"Young man, we cannot thank you enough for your charitable deeds with us." Manager said.

"Just doing my part, sir." Peter said.

"Our community really appreciates it." Manager said.

"My pleasure." Peter said.

Peter was about to walk out till the Manager called out to him…

"Parker!" Manager said.

He turns around to him…

"We had an employee named Parker. May Parker." Manager said.

Peter widens his eyes hearing his Aunt's name.

"She passed away nine months ago. Were you a relative of hers?" Manager asked.

This was actually the first time Peter could tell anyone about his Aunt.

"She was my Aunt. After she passed…I…thought the best thing to honor was…give my donations here." Peter said.

"Well she would have been a very proud son." Manager said.

Peter smiled.

And walked out but when walking into the gym filled with bunk beds and tables and homeless people everywhere Peter took time to appreciate it remembering when he and May raised charity before his trip to Europe.

Peter turned about to leave but bumped into someone, a female homeless person with strawberry blonde hair and she also had tear streams from her eyes…constantly crying…a face...

"Are you okay?" Peter asked.

The strawberry blonde hair turned to Peter.

"I'm fine. Wait a minute. You're..." The strawberry blonde hair said.

"Peter Parker? Yeah. What's your name?" Peter asked.

The strawberry blonde hair looked at Peter…

It was…

"Carrie…White." Carrie said.

The homeless that she: Carrie White, was survived, she killed so many people, and destroyed her school, during the night of her Senior Prom…
