Been rewatching Teen Wolf season five and this is something that popped into my head after 5x11. Because Melissa would absolutely have questions after what happened at the hospital.

Morning
Melissa slowly entered her son's room, seeing Scott without a shirt on, pressing a bandage over the wounds from Theo.
"It still won't heal?" Melissa asked and Scott shook his head.
"I don't know what's happening, Mom. My powers…they're not working, not like before. It's like I went from Wolverine to…I don't know," Scott said dejectedly and it was silent for a long moment.
"What happened with Stiles?" Melissa demanded and Scott averted his gaze. "What happened at the hospital…that wasn't just about his dad. What happened between you two? And don't lie to me."
"Donavan's dead," Scott finally said with a sigh. "Has been for a while. And…Stiles killed him."
"Why would Stiles do that?" Melissa asked, shock flooding through her.
"The way Theo told it, Donavan went after him, probably to hurt his dad. According to Theo, Stiles hit him with a wrench and then…just kept hitting him," Scott said and Melissa looked closely at her son.
"And you believe him?" Melissa asked, not judging him, merely asking.
"No. But I did," Scott said with shame. "I confronted Stiles about it; he kept telling me that he didn't have a choice. I just…I wouldn't hear him. I don't know how I ever got to this point, Mom. How I let Theo get inside my head so much that I didn't even trust the one person who has had my back through all the crap that's happened since Peter bit me. The last few weeks…I barely recognize myself. I stopped talking to my Pack, I turned my back on my best friend, I let Liam down."
"Every leader makes mistakes Scott, some worse than others. The important thing is to learn from them. You feel you let them down? Don't sit here feeling sorry for yourself, do something about it. Talk to your friends; let Stiles know how sorry you are…let Liam know you're there for him. Although maybe keep your distance from Liam. He did try and kill you," Melissa pointed out and Scott sighed.
"Wasn't his fault, Mom. Not completely. Super Moon, Hayden, Theo manipulating him…just bad timing is all," Scott said miserably.
Melisa smiled tightly, not entirely agreeing. But she didn't say anything more on the subject, knowing that wasn't what Scott needed right now. So she left reluctantly, leaving Scott to his thoughts.
Hope you all enjoyed it. Until next time.
