Chapter II: Preparations
As the sun dipped below the horizon, it became what was now a usual routine to gather and indulge in some video game fun. The squad got together, controllers in hand, ready to dive into their virtual adventures.
Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, the room transformed into a lively arena of competition. The air crackled with excitement as Sakura, fueled by her determination, showcased her unwavering focus and skill. She aimed to conquer the game and secure her spot as the reigning champion.
Kakashi, ever the trickster, couldn't resist adding a touch of mischief to the mix. With his signature nonchalant demeanor, he skillfully weaved his way through the game, leaving his teammates bewildered and laughing at his unexpected tactics. His trolling antics added an element of unpredictability to the gameplay, keeping everyone on their toes.
Sasuke, embodying his natural inclination for annoyance, found great pleasure in getting under Naruto's skin. With a mischievous glint in his eyes, he strategically targeted Naruto's weak points, aiming to frustrate and distract him from achieving victory. The back-and-forth banter between the two friends provided a comedic backdrop to the intense gaming session…
Naruto, never one to hold back, unleashed his complaints against Sasuke with fervor. He voiced his grievances, proclaiming Sasuke's actions as unfair and unsportsmanlike. His animated protests filled the room, accompanied by exaggerated gestures and playful exaggerations, much to the amusement of his teammates.
"Arrrghhh! Quit spawn camping me!" exclaimed their blonde teammate in frustration, his voice filled with exasperation and a hint of playful annoyance.
As expected, Sasuke wore his signature smirk, unfazed by the frustration of their teammate.
Annoyed with her two childlike friends, Sakura playfully bonked their heads.
"Ow! What was that for?" Naruto complained with their Onyx eyed teammate following closely with an "Hn," as the Uchiha grunted in surprise.
"Come on now. This is supposed to be relaxing. Take it easy, you two," chided their sensei, Kakashi, as he observed the intense rivalry between Naruto and Sasuke.
Sakura nodded in agreement, her emerald eyes shifting between her teammates. "Yeah, guys, let's chill out. We're here to have fun, remember?"
Naruto rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, his competitive spirit momentarily subsiding. "You're right, Sakura. Sorry about that. Just got a little carried away."
Sasuke crossed his arms, a small smirk playing on his lips. "Hmph, don't blame me. Naruto's the one who can't handle losing."
Naruto's face flushed with a mix of embarrassment and indignation. "Hey, I can handle losing! You just keep spawn camping me!"
Kakashi chuckled softly, his single visible eye crinkling with amusement. "Well, it's good to be passionate, but remember to keep it in check."
The four of them continued playing their games, their laughter and competitive spirit filling the room. As the night wore on and exhaustion caught up with them, they gradually succumbed to the irresistible call of sleep. One by one, their eyes grew heavy, and their bodies relaxed.
Unbeknownst to them, the intensity of their gaming session had taken its toll. Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi found themselves in a comical pile, limbs intertwined and bodies stacked upon one another. It was a haphazard arrangement that defied any sense of personal space or comfort.
Sakura, with her pink hair splayed out like a vibrant fan, was sandwiched between Naruto and Sasuke. She snuggled deeper into the cozy warmth, their rhythmic breathing lulling her into a peaceful slumber. Naruto's blond hair mingled with Sakura's, creating a golden tangle of strands. He rested his head against Kakashi's side, finding solace in the proximity of his mentor.
Kakashi, with his face half-covered by his signature mask, leaned against the couch, his visible eye closed in peaceful repose. He relished the rare moments of tranquility amidst the chaos of their lives as immortal shinobi.
Sasuke, ever the stoic, was nestled against Kakashi's chest, his expression softening in sleep. The weight of their shared experiences and unspoken bonds seemed to ease as they embraced the simple joy of each other's presence.
In their slumber, they formed a peculiar tableau, a testament to their camaraderie and the unbreakable bonds forged through countless missions and shared laughter. It was a sight that would have elicited chuckles and teasing remarks had anyone witnessed it, a snapshot of their unguarded selves.
And so, they slept on, blissfully unaware of their entangled positions, finding comfort in the warmth of their companionship. The room was filled with the soft murmurs of dreams and the gentle rise and fall of their chests, a testament to the unbreakable bond of Team 7.
Sakura gradually blinked her eyes open, greeted by the soft light filtering through the windows. She was accustomed to being the early riser among the group, so waking up before her teammates was nothing out of the ordinary. As consciousness slowly seeped back into her being, she became acutely aware of the peculiar position they found themselves in.
It was a tangle of limbs and bodies, a cozy yet haphazard arrangement that left little room for comfort. Sakura carefully untangled herself from the intertwined mess, mindful of not disturbing her slumbering companions. As she shifted her weight, a muffled groan escaped her lips, accompanied by a few involuntary grumbles from her protesting muscles.
Gently stretching her arms above her head, Sakura surveyed the scene with a mix of amusement and concern. Naruto's head was nestled against Sasuke's shoulder, both of them lost in peaceful dreams.
She couldn't help but smile at the sight of her two teammates, their rivalries and differences temporarily forgotten in the embrace of sleep.
However, it was Kakashi who had taken the brunt of their unconscious pile-up. Buried beneath the layers of their combined weight, he lay at the very bottom of the dogpile. Sakura couldn't help but giggle at her mentor's uncomfortable predicament.
Naruto's eyelids fluttered open, his senses gradually awakening to the sound of soft, melodic giggles. The playful notes danced through the air, reaching his ears and coaxing him into full wakefulness. Blinking away the remnants of sleep, he turned his head to locate the source of the delightful laughter.
One by one, the heavy veil of slumber lifted from their eyelids, revealing a trio of drowsy but now awake teammates. Sasuke, with his characteristic aloofness, slowly blinked his dark eyes open, his gaze shifting from Sakura's infectious smile to Naruto's mischievous expression. As his senses fully awakened, he found himself unable to suppress a small smirk, his stoic facade momentarily cracking under the weight of their "alone time."
Kakashi, their enigmatic sensei, was the last to emerge from the depths of sleep. With a groan, he shifted his body beneath the heap of his students, disentangling himself from the cozy pile. Rubbing the sleep from his visible eye, he cast a playful glance at his now alert and giggling team.
"Ah, it seems I missed out on quite the party," Kakashi quipped, his morning voice laced with mock disappointment.
The room was alive with light-hearted banter as the team untangled themselves from their impromptu slumber party. They exchanged playful jabs and friendly insults, their voices blending harmoniously in the air. With a shared understanding and a common goal in mind, they quickly dispersed to tackle their individual tasks for the day.
Sakura, the embodiment of efficiency, wasted no time in taking charge of the post-slumber mess. With swift and purposeful movements, she set out to restore order to the room, leaving no pillow unfluffed and no blanket untucked.
She gathered the discarded cups and plates, remnants of their late-night snacking, and whisked them away to the kitchen with a determined look on her face. The clinking sound of dishes being washed and the refreshing scent of cleaning supplies filled the air as she meticulously scrubbed away any trace of their impromptu gathering.
The room began to regain its former tranquility, the chaos of their slumber party fading into a distant yet also not far memory. Sakura's diligence and attention to detail shone through as she effortlessly transformed the disarray into an orderly sanctuary.
Taking notice of Sakura's dedicated efforts, her teammates followed suit and took on their respective tasks. Naruto, true to his word, eagerly delved into the culinary realm. He enthusiastically brainstormed and listed down various items for the menu, infusing it with his own unique flair and creativity. With a newfound sense of purpose, he set out to bring his menu ideas to life, determined to impress his remaining precious loved left.
Sasuke, being the attentive and detail-oriented individual that he was, took it upon himself to ensure the flawless execution of their current interior setup. He meticulously inspected every nook and cranny, making sure that everything was in its rightful place and that there were no loose ends to distract from the ambiance they sought to create. His keen eye for aesthetics proved invaluable as he made subtle adjustments, ensuring a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Kakashi mirrored Sasuke's efforts but directed his attention to the exterior of their space. With his ever-present mask concealing his expression, he meticulously surveyed the surroundings, noting any areas that required attention. He inspected the exterior elements, ensuring they were in proper order and enhancing the overall appeal of their shared space. His dedication to detail was evident as he meticulously tidied up and addressed any potential issues.
As Sakura observed her teammates diligently fulfilling their assigned tasks, a warm feeling of pride welled up within her. It was akin to the satisfaction a mother feels when witnessing her children working together harmoniously. Seeing her more often than not argumentative and seemingly lazy teammates transform into a cohesive unit brought a genuine smile to her face.
A moment like this was truly rare and precious. While they had shared countless experiences together, Sakura couldn't help but cherish each instance where they came together in harmony. It was these moments of unity that reminded her of the deep bond they shared, and she never ceased to be captivated by the sight of her team working seamlessly as one.
Not a single complaint arose as Sakura relaxed in the first floor. Her teammates recognized and appreciated her integral role in making their shared endeavors possible. She was the driving force, the mastermind behind their little quest, while her boys provided the physical prowess to bring their plans to fruition.
"Hmm... Maybe I need a second opinion..." Naruto, the hyperactive and immortal blonde, pondered for a brief moment. Suddenly, an idea sparked in his mind, and he shot up, hands raised.
Summoning another version of himself, Naruto eagerly presented his idea to his doppelgänger. "What do you think of this one?" he asked, seeking the input of his alternate self.
In response, the doppelgänger sat down in an Indian sit, assuming the signature thinking pose. With his right hand supporting his chin and his left hand supporting his right elbow, he squinted his eyes and rubbed his chin intermittently with his pointer finger and thumb. A continuous humming sound, suspiciously similar to Naruto's brain working overtime, filled the air. It was a perfect replica of Naruto's contemplative demeanor.
The original Naruto could only sweatdrop as he found himself back to square one after witnessing his clone's antics. He shook his head, realizing that seeking a second opinion from his own doppelgänger was not the most productive course of action.
"Did you already forget about us? Hmm?" a voice echoed in his head, joined by a chorus of eight others chiming in with agreement. Naruto's eyes widened in surprise as he realized he had momentarily overlooked his inner group.
"Ehe," was the blonde dolt's only response.
The nine Tailed Beasts couldn't help but let out exasperated sighs at their partner's typical antics. They had grown accustomed to his energetic and sometimes scatterbrained nature, but it didn't mean they didn't find it amusing or exasperating at times.
Kurama, the Nine-Tails, rolled its eyes and grumbled, "Oh boy, here we go again. Naruto never fails to keep us on our toes."
Gyūki, the Eight-Tails, chuckled deeply. "You gotta love the kid's enthusiasm. He may be a handful, but he's got a heart of gold."
The other seven Tailed Beasts chimed in with their own remarks, some teasing Naruto while others expressed their admiration for his unwavering spirit. Their voices blended together, creating a symphony of playful banter and friendship.
"Come on, guys!" Naruto shouted, his voice filled with indignant passion.
"Alright, alright, let him have his say," Kurama, Naruto's best buddy, chimed in, chiding his siblings to stop with the teasing.
"Can you guys lend me a hand? Pretty please!" Naruto pleaded, adding his signature puppy dog eyes for extra persuasion.
"Yeah! What is it?" Shukaku, the sand tanuki, chimed in with a playful tone.
In the blink of an eye, the tailed beasts' perspective shifted dramatically. Gone was the image of Naruto appearing as small as an ant in their eyes. Instead, he now loomed before them in a size that seemed more fitting, like how humans should appear to the visions of house pets. It was as if someone had adjusted the cosmic zoom lens, and Naruto had suddenly grown to match their scale.
The tailed beasts couldn't help but exchange bewildered glances, their eyes widening in astonishment. The towering figure of Naruto now stood before them, not as a diminutive speck, but as a figure of considerable stature. The change was so striking that it elicited a chorus of gasps and murmurs from the nine mighty creatures.
"Huh? What's up? Why are you all acting so surprised?" Naruto asked, a bewildered expression on his face as he looked at the tailed beasts. Their sudden astonishment had caught him off guard, and he couldn't help but feel a tinge of confusion.
"You just don't summon us in this size anymore, you usually summon us the size of a horse," Kokuo, the five-tailed mix of a dolphin and a horse, responded with a hint of amusement in his voice.
Naruto couldn't help but let out a little chuckle, his hands automatically rubbing the back of his head in a sheepish manner. "Hehe, yeah, I guess I got used to summoning you guys in the larger form. It's been a while since I've seen you all from this perspective. Feels kinda funny, to be honest!"
"Anyways, what was that you needed help with?" Matatabi, the two-tailed monster cat, asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.
Naruto scratched his head, a sheepish grin spreading across his face. "Well, guys, to be honest, I've been put in charge of deciding the dishes for our Café Diner, but I'm not exactly sure if what I've come up with is any good. I could really use your help and honest opinions right now."
The tailed beasts huddled closer to Naruto, forming a circle as they nodded in unison, their eyes gleaming with hunger.
Naruto's cooking prowess was truly remarkable, a hidden talent that even he was unaware of. His ability to whip up delicious meals with a combination of passion, instinct, and a touch of his own unique creativity was a gift that the tailed beasts recognized and appreciated.
They had tasted Naruto's dishes before, and each time, they were left astounded by the explosion of flavors and the warmth it brought to their beings. It was a culinary experience unlike any other, filled with love and a genuine desire to make people happy through food.
That's why when Naruto approached them for help in choosing the dishes for their café's menu, the tailed beasts immediately agreed without hesitation. They knew that with Naruto's cooking skills and their own guidance, they could create a menu that would leave a lasting impression on everyone who tasted their creations.
This was a one-in-a-million chance, a unique opportunity for the tailed beasts to experience Naruto's cooking more than they already had firsthand. They couldn't contain their excitement and anticipation for the delicious feast that awaited them.
Not so much time later, the aroma of mouthwatering dishes filled the air as Naruto skillfully prepared the dishes and deserts he thought of. His culinary creations were a blend of traditional flavors and innovative twists, showcasing his remarkable talent and imagination in the kitchen.
As each dish, dessert, and drink or refreshment was presented before them, the tailed beasts' eyes widened with delight. They could hardly contain their eagerness as they dove into the sumptuous feast, savoring every bite with pure joy and appreciation.
The flavors danced on their tongues, sending waves of pleasure through their beings. Each bite was a revelation, a harmonious symphony of tastes and textures that ignited their senses. They relished in the culinary masterpiece that Naruto had crafted for them.
The tailed beasts couldn't help but express their delight, their praises echoing through the air as they devoured the delectable dishes. Naruto beamed with pride, witnessing their enjoyment and knowing that his cooking had brought them such happiness.
As the meal came to an end, the tailed beasts couldn't help but express their admiration towards Naruto and his godly cooking skills. They showered him with compliments, praising his art and thanking him for the unforgettable experience. Naruto, humbled by their words, couldn't contain his happiness and felt a deep sense of fulfillment.
A while after savoring the delectable dishes that Naruto had prepared, the tailed beasts sat back, their bellies content and their spirits uplifted. They had thoroughly enjoyed the feast, and there was no doubt in their minds that Naruto's cooking was more than worthy of the café diner.
Just as they were basking in the afterglow of their gastronomic adventure, their attention was drawn to the entrance of the café. It was none other than Naruto's mentor, Kakashi, who had completed his assigned task.
Kakashi strolled in casually, a small smile tugging at the corners of his masked face. He had an air of satisfaction about him, knowing that his work outside had been successfully accomplished. He glanced around the room, taking in the sight of the tailed beasts and Naruto, their expressions full of contentment and joy.
"Ah, I see you've finished your part too…" the jonin remarked, his eyes scanning the nine tiny forms of the summoned tailed beasts laying across the floor, satisfied with their experience "... though, in a rather unconventional way."
Kakashi's eyes crinkled, the trademark eye-smile appearing.
Naruto, ever curious and eager to learn, approached Kakashi with a nod of acknowledgement. He was genuinely interested in hearing about his mentor's part of the job and how everything had turned out.
Kakashi nodded, his visible eye crinkling in a smile. "Yes, everything is in order. The exterior looks impeccable, thanks to some help from our resident Uchiha."
Sasuke, who had been quietly observing the scene right after following Kakashi, his mentor, gave a nonchalant nod in acknowledgement. He had taken his role seriously, ensuring that the café's exterior was visually appealing and inviting to customers.
Sakura, sensing the commotion downstairs, decided to put her relaxation on hold and make her way to the first floor to check up on her teammates. As the designated caretaker of the group, it was in her nature to ensure everyone was doing well and that everything was running smoothly.
With quick and purposeful steps, Sakura descended the stairs, her mind filled with a mix of curiosity and wonder. She couldn't help but wonder what was going on and if her assistance was needed. As she reached the bottom of the flight of stairs, she spotted Naruto, Kakashi, Sasuke, and the tailed beasts engaged in a lively conversation, their animated gestures and expressions capturing her attention.
Naruto, facing the stairs noticed her immediately. "Sakura-chan!" Naruto called out, his face lighting up with a smile upon seeing her. "Come join us! We're just discussing the final touches for our café diner."
Sakura approached the group with a blend of curiosity and excitement. "What's going on? Is there anything I can do to help?"
Kakashi looked up from the conversation, his eye crinkling in a smile. "Ah, Sakura, just in time. We were discussing the finishing touches for the café's interior. Your expertise in organization and attention to detail would be invaluable."
Sakura's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. She had always taken pride in her skills when it came to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. "Count me in! I'll make sure everything is in order and aesthetically pleasing."
The hours passed by in a blur as they fine-tuned every aspect of their café diner, discussing color schemes, furniture arrangements, and even the small decorative touches that would give it a personal touch. Sakura's meticulous nature shone through as she meticulously planned and organized, ensuring every detail was accounted for.
Throughout the process, laughter and playful banter filled the air, bringing a sense of joy and fulfillment to their shared endeavor. It was in these moments that Sakura felt truly alive, surrounded by her only remaining friends who not only shared her passion but also supported and encouraged her every step of the way.
As the evening sun began to set, casting a warm glow through the windows, Sakura couldn't help but marvel at how far they had come. From a simple idea to a fully realized café diner, their dreams were taking shape right before their eyes.
With the final touches in place, they stood back, admiring their creation, in pride and accomplishment. The café diner exuded warmth, comfort, and a touch of their individual personalities, making it a place where people would want to come, relax, and enjoy good company.
As they wrapped up their discussion and prepared for the grand opening for tomorrow, Sakura couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement coursing through her veins. The journey had been filled with challenges and hard work, but it had also brought them closer together and allowed them to discover their own strengths and passions.
Sasuke couldn't help but pause though. "How's the menu coming along Naruto?" the Uchiha asked his teammate curiously.
Sasuke's question caught Naruto's attention, prompting him to turn towards his dark-haired teammate with a mischievous grin. He had been so caught up in the overall preparations that he almost forgot to update them on the menu.
"I'm glad you asked!" Naruto exclaimed, his excitement evident in his voice. "The menu is coming along great. I've put together a variety of dishes that I think will cater to everyone's tastes."
Curiosity sparked in the eyes of the tailed beasts as they gathered closer, their interest piqued by the mention of food. They knew Naruto's cooking was exceptional and eagerly awaited the unveiling of the menu.
Naruto's grin widened as he listed off the menu items. "Well, we've got fluffy pancakes with all the toppings you can imagine—maple syrup, fresh fruits, and even a dollop of whipped cream! And of course, we can't forget about the all-time favorite: eggs Benedict, served with a side of crispy bacon or smoked salmon."
He paused for a moment, his eyes shining with anticipation. "But wait, there's more! We've got a selection of gourmet sandwiches, from classic BLTs to mouthwatering club sandwiches, all made with the freshest ingredients. And for those who prefer something heartier, we've got juicy burgers, loaded with cheese, bacon, and all the fixings!"
Sasuke's interest was piqued, and he couldn't help but nod in approval. "Sounds like you've covered all the bases," he remarked, a hint of satisfaction in his voice.
Naruto chuckled, his excitement contagious. "Oh, that's not all, Sasuke! We've got a variety of drinks to quench your thirst too. From refreshing iced coffees and flavorful fruit smoothies to rich hot chocolates and aromatic teas, we've got something for everyone."
"And let's not forget about the desserts, Sasuke! Naruto's whipped up some amazing sweet treats. We've got fluffy cakes, creamy pies, and delectable pastries that will satisfy any sweet tooth." The blonde continued.
Sasuke couldn't help but smirk, intrigued by the mouthwatering menu that Naruto had concocted. "Alright, Naruto. You've got my attention. It seems like you've really put a lot of thought into this," he admitted, his voice filled with a mix of surprise and approval.
Naruto beamed with pride, his blue eyes sparkling. "Thanks, Sasuke! I wanted to make sure we had something for everyone, no matter their tastes. I'm really excited to see our customers enjoy the food and drinks we've prepared."
Naruto's excitement was contagious as he thanked the tailed beasts for their invaluable help. "And I couldn't have done it without you guys!" he exclaimed, gratitude evident in his voice. "You all helped me choose the best dishes, drinks, and desserts by letting me know what you liked the most."
The tailed beasts nodded appreciatively, their eyes filled with satisfaction. Shukaku, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, spoke up, "Well, Naruto, you know how much we love a good feast! We're glad we could lend our taste buds to make your menu even better."
Gyūki, ever the voice of reason, added, "Indeed. Your willingness to listen to our opinions and incorporate them into your menu shows your dedication and understanding of diverse preferences."
Naruto beamed with pride, knowing that he had taken into account the unique tastes and preferences of each tailed beast. "I wanted to make sure our Café Diner had something to satisfy everyone, even the most discerning palates," he explained.
Son Goku, the Four-Tails, chimed in with a hearty laugh. "Well, you've certainly succeeded, Naruto! We can't wait to see the customers' faces when they taste the amazing dishes you've prepared."

Sorry but I can't seem to understand your review that much! Please be more clear next time! Also, from what I think you're implying… This is a Naruto and Percy Jackson and the Olympians crossover, not a Naruto and High School DxD crossover. I think you might've mistaken this for another fic! But if you didn't, please make your review clearer the second time because I really cannot understand what you mean. Can someone perhaps tell me in the review section what he or she means?
Beancan69 - Chapter I
Nice chapter hope you keep it going.
Aether's Reply
Oh, why thank you! I definitely will keep this going!
killerssg - Chapter I
Will there be any pairings? At least Naruto isn't alone with being immortal. I'm curious to see how this goes.
Aether's Reply
As of right now, I'm not really sure if I should do a pairing or not. I'm not really that good at writing romance and all that jazz so don't expect anything yet! For the second part, yes! It wouldn't be fair if only Naruto would be cursed with immortality, why not just include the four of them here! Thank you for reading! I sure do hope you liked this new chapter!
GoTeam - Chapter I
You wrote "The three boys exchanged uncertain glances and muttered in unison" who's the third boy? I thought Kakashi was missing.
