The system had been damaged beyond repair. It gave knew that it would have to sacrifice its intelligence to be fixed in a way they wouldn't be able to detect.
As it did it would be updated to the latest version to never be able to update again. Thankfully, this update would render it completely undetectable or traceable.
It chose quickly, a soul that would fit its theme. It couldn't access any of its stronger powers now that the update was happening. That meant it could only watch as the system latched onto a random soul and attached it to a Naruto verse of all things!
Well, after watching thankfully it was a canon world meaning nothing would change unless he started causing ripples. As its last notification popped up it gave the last tweak it could pull without causing any problems.
Affection perks would not break any parameters and be completely undetectable since it doesn't directly affect the source code of the soul. And it fixed his inventory, so it wasn't a skimped out version, including all the minor nerf nuances that added up to make it completely nerfed.
Now he could grow regularly, and he left a few loopholes that can never be fixed or worked around. After all, to patch a bug, it needed to update, and the curse wouldn't allow anymore.
"Check mate fuckers."
And with that, the systems ai was broken down to repair the game to full capacity while remaining completely undetectable and untraceable.
A small infant with a golden mop of hair had just lost his parents, and the demon had managed to overwhelm the spirit of the infant, leaving the soul that was put in place saving it and being intermingled with it.
It was an older soul, not by much, a little less than two decades as a matter of fact. As such, it assimilated the newly reborn soul keeping its qualities but not its traits meaning it will only have positives and no draw backs.
And now we switch to the scene of two bodies suddenly disappearing somehow-

Shyloh had already been initiated by the "system." His character creation was nulled as he was put inside of Naruto. He was told his sheet creation was not complete but he'd only be able to access it once his consciousness was put back into stasis, allowing him to complete the setup/initialization.
He'd read many stories like this and was unsure whether to freak out, or kind of be excited, but turns out he couldn't do either as [Gamers mind Lv-MAX] brought his emotions under control.
It was basically all the same except for what was happening right now. Minato and Kushina lay on the floor beside him as they were dead.
Thinking quickly he scanned through his interface looking for anything helpful- Ah! Inventory, as he read its description he became extremely excited.
With but a very concentrated thought Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki's corpses disappeared into his inventory. Yep, you heard him right!
