Hello all! Kept ya waiting, huh?
How have you all been? I've been okay. I quit my job without having another lined up and have been enjoying unemployment for a while (I have still been paying rent!)
For the life of me I just couldn't write, I got addicted to League and Minecraft again... I'm Dumb.
Anyway, here is another chapter! Thank you for reading!

"And then he pretty much kicked me out!" Neptune told the girl with much more exaggeration than he intended, but that was just his way of story telling, he supposed. He slammed his glass on the table in frustration "Like what kind of friend does that?"
"Probably one that wanted some privacy with the girl he had over?" Dew hummed in response, idly sipping her own beverage "Didn't you used to get pissed when Jaune would barge in on you with girls?" She asked back.
"Don't be silly. I never got angry at that, the girls on the other hand..." He shot her a look "You got mad, right?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about." She replied "I have never once entered your dorm."
Neptune looked confused "I distinctly remember y-"
"Nope." She interrupted "I never got mad at your annoying roommate, who never leaves the dorm and interrupted us doing it. Not once." She gave a fake laugh "It would be very unprofessional for me to sleep with a co-worker! Don't you agree?"
Neptune was now, truly confused. He could've sworn down he remembered sleeping with Dew, but then again he had slept with a lot of girls in his time, he could be mistaken "I guess you're right." He shrugged.
"Damn right I am." She grinned "But back on topic! You can't just barge into someone else's dorm and not expect them to get mad." She explained "Especially if he's with a girl. They could have been doing anything and you could have interrupted them."
"You're saying I'm in the wrong?" Neptune asked.
"Yes." Dew simply replied "How are you not seeing this?"
"We're friends. It shouldn't be a big issue for me to go over and hang out though." He tried arguing his point, but was once again shut down.
"We've just been over this!" Dew groaned "Would you like it if one of you're friends interrupted something you was doing?"
"Well Sun is stuck to the hip of Ilia. Same with Ren and Nora." He listed "And Jaune is always out lately."
"Oh?" Dew couldn't his the excitement in her eyes "Is he... out of the dorm... now?" She asked hesitantly.
"Yeah." Neptune sighed "Told me he wouldn't be back tonight."
"You have a free dorm?"
"Yes?"
"Why are we here then? Why don't we go and drink there?" She suggested.
Neptune being the idiot he was, wasn't picking up on her very obvious intentions "I suppose we could go there, but it's a bit of a mess."
"That's fine." Dew replied, a tad overeagerly.
"We'll have to go to the shop and grab some drinks though."
"Also fine." Dew was already up, dragging the boy out of his seat "Let's go."
~~~Vale University~~~
"These stupid, flying serpents!" Ilia screamed out in anger as her character died once more to the monsters of skull cavern "Why is this so fucking hard!?"
"I told you to get food buffs." Sun smiled at the angry girl "It's pretty much impossible without luck and speed buffs." He was preparing for his attempt by harvesting some pumpkins "Everyone always forgets about pumpkin soup."
"Shut up, nerd." She shot back playfully without her usual bite "We should probably stop playing, it's getting late."
"Yeah, you're right." Sun agreed, sounding more disappointed than anything "I was falling asleep in class today because we played all night."
Ilia let out a laugh "No way! That's actually hilarious." She grinned, standing up and stretching "Man I reek."
"You can use the shower again, if you want?" He offered.
"And have you peek at me while I'm in there? I'll pass, thanks. I should probably head home at some point, I'm sure my roommate is worried sick."
"It has been a few days." Sun agreed, walking her over to the door.
Ilia playfully punched him in the arm "Don't sound so sad. I'll come over again sometime, we have a community centre to complete."
This caused the boy to grin "Well then, be sure to come over whenever you want."
"Just don't screw at me, like you did Neptune." She laughed, leaving the dorm "See ya!" She called out before disappearing behind the corner.
Sun stood there "Fuck..." He scratched the back of his head "I should probably go and apologise to Neptune."
~~~Vale University~~~
Reese Chloris was panicked. She knew her roommate was more than capable of handling herself, but that didn't make her worry any less. She had sent several cute, yet concerned messages to the girl and had gotten no response.
"Oh god! What if she's dead?" She paced back and forth in the living room "Or worse, what if a man has got her!" The green haired girl squealed in horror at the thought of a man touching her fellow man hating companion "Oh god, oh god, oh god, oh god, oh god!"
Her head swung to the front door that was being opened "Ilia!" She cried, rushing over to her friend and pulling her into a bearhug "You had me worried sick!"
"Reese, I'm 19 I can handle myself." Ilia knew better than to make her worry, but Stardew had made her oblivious to the world around her "Look, I'm sorry, just let go of me."
Reese let go and took a step back, concern had left her face and was now replaced with a look of accusations "Where have you been and why haven't you called?" She asked.
"What are you, my mother?" Ilia replied, walking over to the kitchen.
The other girl followed "You know just as well as I do about the dangers out there! What if a man got you? What then?"
"Not all men are bad."
Reese gasped "W- WHAT!?"
"Keep it down!" Ilia hissed "Not every man is a perverted rapist." She explained "Some are actually pretty cool. Don't you hang out with that Nolan guy?"
Reese looked like she was going to pass out. Her face had gone a ghostly white and her mouth hung open in frozen shock "Nolan is my best friend, not some rapist! I can't talk about this right now, I think I need to lay down..." She managed to mutter, turning away from Ilia and walking to her room.
"Jeez." Ilia shook her head "Girl needs to get laid."
"I heard that!"
"Good!"
~~~Vale University~~~
Sun breathed deeply, exhaled and then knocked on Neptune's door. He had thought of a million ways to apologise for snapping at his friend, but now he was actually here, he lost what to say.
No response.
Sun quirked an eyebrow and pulled out his phone, opening up an app that tracks your friends location, an app that followers of the Broble were required to use. Thou shall know where thy brothers are at all times. He shook his head at the ridiculous rule and clicked on Neptune's profile. "Strange." He knocked on the door again "Neptune, you home?" He called through the wooden door.
Yet again, no response. As soon as he turned to leave, the sound of a glass smashing came from the other side of the door.
"Shit." Sun cursed, barging into the door and flying through the living and straight into Neptune's bedroom "Neptune, are you okay?!" He yelled as he burst through the bedroom door. A girls scream let the intruder know, he had messed up.
"Sun? What's up buddy?" Neptune said with a huge, goofy grin on his face.
Sun looked at Neptune and then his eyes drifted to the left of him. Dew let out a 'Eep!' and pulled the cover up to her face. The monkey faunus went red from embarrassment "I am so sorry." He apologised.
"Nah, It's cool." Neptune beamed happily, not noticing the glare from Dew "What's up?"
"I don't think this is a good time..." Sun replied "Message me when you're done."
"He will! Now please leave." Dew pleaded.
"Sorry again." Sun apologised once more and left the room "Stupid Sun!" He muttered as he made his way back out of the dorm.
~~~Vale University~~~
Cardin looked at his watch and let out a yawn, what kind of psycho gets up at 6am to do cardio?
"Hey buddy!" Ruby zipped around the corner already in her gym gear "You ready to run?" She grinned, bouncing around with more energy than any normal human should have at this hour.
The large boy replied with another yawn and a nod of his head "Of course I am... Do I not look ready?" He asked tiredly. Why on earth had he agreed to let her help him with cardio in return for his help in weight training?
"Good, cause I'm not going to go easy on you." She playfully grinned, skipping passed the boy and entering the gym.
Cardin followed after and made his way to the changing room, quickly changing into some gym shorts and a vest before meeting back up with Ruby, who was already jogging on a treadmill "What? No stretches?" He asked, hopping on to the treadmill next to her.
"The walk here should have loosened you up." She said effortlessly and slightly upped the speed of the machine "We're going to do a nice short 10km run today." She informed him, shooting a cocky smirk his way "Think you can keep up?"
"Short 10km? I don't think you can use those words in the same sentence." He shot back. He pressed the start button and began his own run.
"Bah! This is nothing!" Ruby laughed "Loser buys drinks after?"
The boy upped his pace "Deal."
The duo were keeping a good pace, but it was clear Cardin was falling behind. After 25 minutes of constant running, his breathing became more erratic and his legs felt heavier. He turned to Ruby, who in comparison, had barely worked up a sweat 'This girl is a monster!' He screamed mentally, grit his teeth and continued his losing battle.
After 50 minutes, Ruby had completed the 10km run and was wiping the sweat from her face with her gym towel "Cardio just hits different in the morning!" She let out a content breath, happy with her session "Not long left, Cardin!" She informed.
Cardin was a mess. His pace had slowed and his throat burned for more air 'Almost there!' He tried to hype himself up to no avail. Why was he doing this in the first place? It's not as if he really cared for his cardio training.
"You can do it!" Came the cheer from the small girl beside him and something inside just clicked. He managed to somewhat calm his breathing and charged on. After four gruelling minutes, the machine came to a stop and Cardin let himself fall to the ground.
"Thank..Fuck.." He said between breaths, spreading his arms out and just enjoying not having to move. Suddenly the light staring down at him was blocked, being replaced by the goofy face of his gym partner.
"I knew you could do it." She shot him a smile and held out a hand for him.
"Never... doing this... again." He let out a strained laugh and accepted her help, grabbing hold of her hand and letting her assist in pulling him to his feet.
"Soooo, large strawberry shake, please."
"I hate you."
Ruby giggled "You'll get used to it."
~~~Vale University~~~
Jaune stared at his broken front door and simply let out a sigh "For gods sake..." He shook his head. He had woken up early so Weiss and him could go get a quick breakfast while no one else would be awake and had just walked her back to her dorm, he had not expected to see his own dorm door broken. He walked in the open door and immediately went to where suspect 1 would be.
"Neptune! If you're in there wake the fuck up!" The blonde banged on his roommates door so hard, he thought it would also break. He heard quiet murmurs beyond the door and people moving around hastily. Eventually the door flung open revealing his friend.
"Hey Bro! What's up?" Neptune asked, nonchalantly leaning on the door frame "Pretty early to be so loud, don't ya think?"
"Mind telling me what happened to the front door?" The blonde ignored his friends questions and simply pointed towards the open door.
Neptune look passed Jaune and his eyes saw the issue "No idea. Probably when Sun busted in last night after Dew and I smashed a glass."
"Dew?"
"Yeah!" Neptune laughed "And believe me when I say that the glass wasn't the only thing I smashed last night." He smirked.
"One, fucking gross and two, focus the fuck up!" Jaune raised his voice "What if someone had just waltzed into our dorm and taken our stuff?" He scowled, walking over to the living room to see if anything was missing.
Neptune hummed and joined him "Now you mention it, I did hear someone in here earlier."
"What?"
"I just figured it was you. I didn't come and check." Neptune explained "It doesn't look like anything was taken from over here... Oh..." A sudden realization hit the blue haired boy.
"Once again." Jaune said "What?"
Neptune made his way over to the kitchen "We're Uni students. What is the one thing Uni students crave most?" He stopped at the fridge.
Jaune now followed Neptune, a sense of dread creeping up both of the boys backs "No one would stoop that low..."
Neptune took a breath and placed a hand on the fridge handle "Only one way to find out." He pulled open the fridge and felt his throat go dry.
"Who would do this?" Jaune's voice was emotionless as he stared at the now alcohol-less fridge.
"I have no clue, but I'm going to find out who." Neptune's tone was dark and filled with rage.
Neither of the boys had realised Dew was looking over their bodies into the fridge with confusion etched on to her face "Umm, what's the issue?" She asked.
Jaune turned to the girl and put a hand on her shoulder "They took the beer." He said solemnly.
Dew looked at Jaune's hand, still resting on her shoulder and then at his face "So?"
"They also took your wine." Neptune added and her face seemed to crack.
"I'll kill them!" She said, a dark look taking over her features.
Some sneaky bastards stole the alcohol! Da fuck bro!
I like the Cardin and Ruby stuff man! Nothing like a good ol Bromance to get ya through the day, am I right?
