Have a small chapter.
"Is that really the whole story?" Yang asked unimpressed.
Weiss rolled her eyes "Does it really need to be more complicated?" She asked back. The girls decided to hit up a nearby café for Weiss' break, so she could explain how Jaune and herself had got together in private. The last thing she would need is for Sun to find out.
Yang took a sip from her iced coffee and shrugged "I was just hoping It'd be more juicy than that. How very cliché." She sighed, playing with the condensation on the side of her plastic cup. "After his panic attack I thought he'd want nothing to do with ya."
"Well, like I said. At first he didn't. If it wasn't for Winter cancelling on me, I doubt that he would have spoken to me." The girl smiled "But he did and everything worked out better than I could have hoped for." A smile appearing on the pale girls face as she remembered the nights they shared on their time away.
"Pffft, look how smitten you are." The blonde gave a light laugh "I guess If you're happy then I'm happy too. You just let me know If he does something to upset you and I'll fuck him u-"
"Weiss!" Jaune's voice interrupted the pair as he rushed over to their table holding two dresses up "Which one do you think would suit me more? I think the white one shows off my ass better, but Ren says the green one goes better with my hair." He spat out excitedly, not realising who she was sat with.
"Umm..." Weiss embarrassedly turned back to Yang.
"Lover boy~" Yang greeted.
Jaune froze, slowly turning to his fellow blonde "Hey Yang..." He slowly turned back to Weiss "...Witch?"
"She knows."
"I know."
"You know?"
Yang nodded.
"Oh good!" He perked back up, holding up both dresses once again "Which one?"
"You never did explain why you were buying dresses." Weiss replied "Care to explain?"
"We're having a themed night at Cardin's social." He lied, not sure if they were going to be attending Womanpalooza.
"Winchester?" Yang asked "I thought you hated that asshole?"
'Fuck!' Jaune screamed internally, knowing he was now going to have to get Cardin involved, and quickly too. Can't have Yang bumping into him and blowing his cover. "He's calmed down a lot now." He shrugged "Anyway, which dress?"
"I don't care." Answered Yang.
"Fair. Weiss?"
Weiss looked at each dress and visualised the boy wearing both. Her face turning a light shade of pink. "I think my break is over." She stood up "I'll see you once my shift is over?"
"Of course." Jaune replied shooting her a smile before pulling her into a light peck on the lips "Can't wait."
"You best be wearing that white dress when I get there." Weiss purred back, quickly realising that they weren't alone "S- So I can see which one is better of course!" She stammered, running out of the café.
"That was gross." Remarked Yang.
"You're gross." Jaune countered.
The bombshell stuck her tongue out and held up her middle finger.
"Real mature."

Cardin hadn't really wanted to start his morning out like this, but here he was, stood in-between Ruby and a group of three males at 6:30am. "Is there a problem here?" He asked the three boys. Hoping that his physique alone would be enough to scare the group away. He was positive that he could take them if it came down to it, but with Ruby there, he wasn't so sure.
"We're not trying to talk to you." One of the boys countered "We're just trying to hang out with the cutie behind you."
Ruby let out an 'Eep!' and moved closer to Cardin, gripping onto the hem of his vest. "Yeah, that's not going to happen." The large boy growled "So I suggest you all fuck off while you're all still capable of walking." He took a dangerous step towards the group and raised his fists, getting into a fighting stance.
The leader of the group spat at Cardin's feet "This isn't over. I'll remember your face." His eyes travelled to Ruby's "And I'll definitely remember yours." He shot her protector a smirk, before leaving.
"What was that yo-" Cardin felt Ruby tug at his clothes and he calmed down, turning his attention on his gym partner "Are you okay? They didn't do anything to you, did they?" He got down to her level and their eyes met.
She threw her arms around his neck and let out a laugh "My hero!" She giggled, burying her face into his neck.
"You know I can feel you shaking, right?" He replied, reciprocating her hug "You wanna skip today and go get some shakes? My treat?" He offered.
"Hell no!" She pushed away with another giggle "I still need to outlift you." She smiled up at him.
Cardin shook his head "With those arms? Maybe in a few years." He gave a light laugh.
"Hey! My arms are wham!" She whined, flexing her biceps "See?"
"See what?"
Ruby threw a playful punch into his arm "Jerk."

Ilia read through the message that had just been sent to her and a grin emerged on her face "Dresses and wigs are secured." She threw her phone down onto Sun's front table and picked the controller back up "You sure you don't want play Stardew with me? All this planning has got me so worked up."
Sun didn't even look up from his laptop "I do want to play Stardew with you, but I need to finish this paper first." He typed away.
"Suit yourself." She un-paused the game and began harvesting her blueberries "You know you don't have to dress up as a girl If you don't want to?"
"That's got nothing to do with it." Sun countered "Plus, we already have the dresses and stuff. Can't exactly back out now."
"What's the issue then? You've been acting weird around me all day. If I've done something wrong, you can tell me." Ilia spoke calmly, eyes not leaving the screen. She heard a sigh and the sound of a laptop closing. Sun got up and made his way over to the sofa, picking up a controller and sitting next to the girl. "Good boy." She smiled as he joined her.
"You haven't done anything wrong. I've just been feeling kind of off lately." He admitted "And I don't really know why."
"What's wrong?"
"I just said that I don't know..." Sun deadpanned "Are you even listening to me?"
"Yeah yeah, my pickaxe is ready, I know."
"I think you're a bit addicted to this game."
"Hmm?" She shot him a look.
"Whatever." Sun shook his head and went back to playing the game "So, what's the plan for Friday? Any secret plan to get us in to the event?"
"What do you mean? You'll be dressed up as a female." She reminded him "And you'll be walking through the door. Easy peasy."
"Are you going to be wearing a dress?"
"I doubt my roommate would let me wear anything else." The girl shrugged "Why? You excited to see me all dressed up?" She teased.
"It's only fair that If I have to wear one, then so do you."
"Why couldn't you be more like Jaune? He was hyped to dress up." Ilia nudged the boy "Even the quiet looking boy was somewhat excited."
"Jheeze! Can a guy not be embarrassed about something? I'm still going to do it." Sun groaned "I need a drink." He got up and walked to the kitchen.
"Grab me one too." The girl called out "Anything fruity will do." She added.
"Only fruity thing in this dorm is Ren's Taylor Swift poster." Sun laughed, scanning the fridge "We've got a few cans of cider?"
"Well that will change when we get you all dressed up." Ilia countered playfully, smirking as she heard the groan.
"Shut up."

"And then I hit the griddy on them!" Ruby proclaimed proudly, a wide smile planted on her face.
Cardin was in no rush to leave her alone after what had happened before their gym session and had offered to take her out for lunch. He smiled at the hyperactive girl and nodded along with the conversation, not that he knew what a griddy was.
"And that's how I got another victory royale!" Beaming a smile "What did you do last night?" She asked, deciding she had finished her story.
"I just did some weight lifting in the garage." He answered, taking a bite out of his chicken burger "It's quite nice not living in the dorms."
"You have personal weights?" Ruby's eyes lit up.
"Yeah. Me and Russel turned the garage into a little gym." He could see the excitement grow on the girls face.
"You have got to show me!" She shot out of her chair, grabbing hold of the larger boy's hands.
Cardin gave a nervous stutter "Umm.. S. Sure."
"Tomorrow?!" She leaned closer over the table.
The boy could feel his face start to heat up as he tried to avert the girls gaze "Y..Yeah sure. After my lectures." He sighed "Now sit back down."
"Okay!" Ruby's grin not leaving her face as she sat back down and went to work on her own burger "I'd feel a lot safer after what happened this morning. If I'm completely honest." She took a bite.
"I'd feel a lot more at ease if you were somewhere I could see you." Cardin admitted "If you like the little gym, we can just workout there from now on?" He suggested.
Her grin became a warm, sheepish smile "I'd like that." They fell into a comfortable silence that was quickly broken by the sound of he phone ringing "Oh! It's my sis. Do you mind If I?"
"Go ahead." Cardin's focus shifting back to his food.
"Hey, Yang! What's up?" Ruby greeted the caller.
Cardin's eyes went wide and he quickly shook his head 'Probably some other Yang.' He shrugged it off.
"Friday night?... Womanpalooza?... Woah woah woah, I know I'm 17 and can legally drink now but going out Isn't really my thing... Yang!" She whined "Fine... Oh, can I bring a friend?"... Yes I have a friend!" She pouted "Cool, I'll let him know, bye!" Ruby quickly hung up and sighed. "Sorry about that, my sister is a yapper."
"If the friend you want to take to Womanpalooza is me, then I have some bad news for you." Cardin laughed.
"What? Are you busy that night?" Ruby asked innocently, putting on the puppy dog eyes.
"No." Cardin leaned over and ruffled her hair "It's kind of a 'No boys allowed' kind of event." He explained "Have you not seen the hundreds of posters all over campus?"
The younger girl sunk into her seat "That sucks..." She whined "Maybe we can try and sneak you in."
"I don't think that'd work." He smiled at the sulking girl "We can always hang out after?"
"Sounds like a plan." Ruby agreed.
A short one, because I'm trying to write some more. Womanpalooza will come soon.
Thanks for reading!
