Seeing the would-be assassin behind him fall to the ground he pulls out one of his fletching arrows just as he hears the sound of Talia pulling back her bow string. In a split second both archers release their arrows, and a loud clattering noise can be heard as Samantha screams in fear as two arrow land on the ground in front of her.

Talia and Oliver look towards each other a feeling of contrition taking over him. Talia looks at him with regret but makes no move to attack him. He already said numerous time he won't fight her. He nods in her direction before turning to engage one of the assassins rushing towards him. He isn't sure what side Talia is on right now. He isn't sure if even she is aware on where she stands.

Engaging with the first assassins that come his way he parries their sword swing with his bow before bringing it back smacking his attacker on the face. He then proceeds to kick the assassin in the chest making them stumble backwards. Surging forward he grabs their head kicks their legs from under them and smashes their head into the ground.

From his crouched position he barely has any time to react before another assassin swipe downwards at him. Rolling under the swing Oliver hops up shooting an arrow in to his second opponent back.

Two more assassins appear teaming up on him. One is armed with a bow and arrow. Said one fires an arrow at Oliver who moves out of the way. He dodges a second and third arrow as well. While this was happening the other assassin. Assassin number four was moving in with their sword drawn. Oliver whacks away the fourth arrow with his bow before ducking under the fourth assassin's sword.

Two arrows sail past Oliver lodging themselves into the third assassin in this small exchange. Oliver makes a mental note to thank Nyssa later. The black and red tipped arrows are her signature design.

Facing off against the fourth assassins the two warriors clash weapons. Sword vs bow as Oliver blocks all of Talia's student's attacks. On one attack Oliver blocks and downwards attack with his bow before grabbing the assassin's wrists and twisting it into an awkward angle moving behind the assassin and kicking them in the legs forcing them onto their knee. He then roughly twists the waist hearing that snapping sound he has grown so used too. Ripping the blade out of the assassin's hand he smacks them over the back of the head with the handle knocking them out.

Now armed with a sword and bow Oliver moves towards Slade who is busy fighting against Harkness unaware of the assassins coming after him. Moving to interpret them Oliver fires one arroow into one of their legs, and one into one of their shoulders and one, smacking the bow and arrow out of their hands. He then engages with a group of five assassins.

With one of them suffering from an arrow to the leg it a four on one battle. The one with the arrow in the shoulder was moving much slower than other which made it easier for Oliver to parry their attack with his new sword and whack them across the head with his bow knocking him to the ground.

Three on one now. Oliver moves with skill and speed to block and parry his assailant's attacks from three different angles. He bides his time wating to counter. That moment came when one of the assassins in front of him and behind him both go to attack at the same time with a stabbing motion. Waiting till the perfect moment he turns sideways avoiding the two blades as they pass on either side of him. The two assassins following through with their attacks left them open for Oliver to counter. Sideways fighting Oliver kicks one leg out landing a kick to the one behinds gut while angling his elbow up smashing it into the other's throat. Both assassins wheeze from the sudden hits.

Oliver doesn't hesitate and punces swiping out one's legs before stomping on their head knocking them out. He throws his sword at the third assassin who tries to help. The sword going through their shoulder. And in the same throwing movement Oliver uses his momentum to spin kick the other wheezing assassin chest knocking them onto their back. Using this momentum from the spin kick he spins all the way around before dropping a punch on to the assassins head knocking them out cold.

Turning his attention to the last assassin. Oliver moves around them his arm around their neck putting just enough pressure to put them out. Dropping the body, he glances around. He spots Slade throw Harkness to the ground and Nyssa fire an arrow near towards Talia.

As soon as the fight broke out Roy turned his attention to the large group of assassins hiding in the trees. He's aware of everyone else going into close combat fighting. Well, everyone but Nyssa who is doing the same as him on the other side.

Roy fires arrow after arrow at the assassins trying to fire down on his friends and Malcolm. He has to avoid the incoming projectiles aimed at him while firing arrows to protect the others who aren't aware of the incoming attacks. Overall, it's a lot of work and he is barely able to watch everyone back as well as his own.

At one point one of the assassins managed to scale down the tree and tried to engage him in bow to bow combat. Although not as skilled as Oliver and Nyssa he was trained by the two of them. Sara as well. Because of this, he is able to keep up with Talia's students.

Jumping a few steps back he quicky fires another arrow into an assassin taking aim at Slade before returning to his fight with his advisory. Using one of the hundreds of trees surrounding Roy runs jumps and pushes off the tree to deliver a more forceful punch to this target who hits the ground and doesn't get up.

He narrowly avoids a sword being swung at him but fall right into another assassin's attack earning a smack to the face with a bow. Stumbling back, he quickly tries to regain his footing and stance before the two of them can attack together.

A bolt slams into one of his attackers allowing him the time and space to set himself for the next attack. The second assassin tries to side swipe him, but he reflects his attacking and counter by grabbing their arm pulling them closer kicking them in the stomach forcing them to lean over from the blow. Here Roy knees them in the head.

Another bolt flies past him landing in an assassin he wasn't aware of. He shouts a quick thanks to Helena who is fighting off two of her own attackers.

Reaching for another arrow he spots three more assassins heading towards him. Come on how many are there. The must have taken down over two dozen already. Where are they all coming from.

Firing at the assassins he manages to take one out but the other two cut his arrows in half. The distance between them is growing smaller as he preps himself to take on two assassins at once. "Need a hand," Thea asks sliding next to him having picked up one of the assassins swords.

"How did yo-" His words are cut off when he and Thea end up battling the assassins.

In between attacks, he hears Thea answer him. "Helena... Bolt... Lock... Shattered..." The two of them simultaneously knock out the assassins. Behind him, he hears Talia shout something in a language he doesn't know before smoke fills the area.

Once it's gone only a few assassins and Everlyn remain still knocked out on the ground. The rest must have picked themselves up and fled.

Thea turns to him all but jumping into his arms. He grips on to her for dear life. When Oliver called and told him that Thea was in danger that she was captured he was beyond terrified. But now that he is here holding her in his arms he can feel all of that fear melt away. "I can't believe you're here." She mumbles into his neck.

"What do you mean. You should know by now that I will always come for you, Thea." His grip on her tightens at his admission. "Always." He promises to her.

Being away from her is painful. Leaving her was the hardest thing he had ever done. The first time after he took the fall for Oliver was the only way to ensure that all three of them could be free. That the threat from the police wouldn't land all of them in prison. That they all wouldn't end up dead in a cell.

Even then he knew it was best to leave so that everyone would believe that he was really dead. But that doesn't mean that he liked it. Leaving his girlfriend and his mentor was hard enough. But leaving them when they were still dealing with the league almost made him turn back and say fuck it all.

He was tempted to ask both Oliver and Thea to come with him. That the three of them could restart their lives somewhere else. Somewhere away from the league hunting them. Away from the tension and frustration starting to build in the team. Away from all the chaos in Star City. Just the three of them free of all responsibilities and regrets. Maybe lounging on a beach somewhere.

He never asked. He never asked because he knew that Oliver wouldn't leave Star city. Not when Ra's had started to cleanse it in order to get Oliver to accept his proposal. His mentor would never have forgiven himself if people were being killed because of him. If Ra's unleashed the bioweapon and destroyed the city in order to send a message to him.

Thea. Thea wouldn't leave without her brother. Her guilt of being the reason why any of this was happening wouldn't have allowed her to abandon him when he needed her the most. Yes, Oliver would have wanted her to go with him and be safe far far away from the danger but they both knew that Thea was too stubborn to just run away. Not after both Malcolm Oliver and he had trained her to fight.

The second time he left was for her own good. Life on the run wasn't the type of life he would wish on anyone. The constant paranoia making him uneasy around people. Knowing any second someone might recognise him and he would have to flee and start over somewhere else. He didn't want that for her. Didn't want to pull her away from her brother and her life. She deserves so much more than that.

But maybe now something can be worked out between the two of them. He knows right now holding her. Knowing she is safe with him again. He knows he can't just walk away again. He won't. He will talk to her Oliver and Nyssa when this is all over. Between the four of them, they should be able to work something out.

Oliver and Nyssa make it work even though they live in different countries. Maybe he can do what they do and split their time between Star City and somewhere else. Wherever the two of them want. The more he thinks about it, the more he loves the idea. When this is all over, they can talk about it together. Right now, they still have their nephew to find and half of Oliver's team.

Nyssa had to give it to her sister she did train her students well. Not as well as the league but still very good. However, their stealth skills need to be improved. When she sensed the first assassin lurking up in the trees growing closer, she knew that there would be more nearby.

She called out in warning towards the others and on instinct reacted when she saw a black robed figure moving towards her husband. From there all masked figured descended down on them hoping to overwhelm their group. Enough ants can kill a spider after all.

Taking aim, she shoots down various assassins as they try to close down on her and Malcolm. Not really the person she wants watching her back in a life and death situation. She makes sure to always keep an eye on him. Mistakes in battle can happen after all and she won't let Malcolm use that as an excuse to seek his revenge for having Oliver steal the league away from him, lose his hand and then disband the league.

Feeling a shift in the wind next to her Nyssa instantly throws her hand to catch the arrow aimed at her head. She turns her attention towards the figured who tried to take her out. The other archer is standing around thirty feet from her. They fire another arrow at her which she deflects with the arrow she is holding. In one movement she then loads that arrow and fires it back at them.

Said archer throws themselves sideways to avoid the arrow. Before taking aim and firing at her again. It seems someone wants to have an archery competition. How could she possibly refuse. The two of them exchange arrows each dodging or reflecting. Nyssa has to admit that Talia taught whoever this was well.

But not well enough. Plucking one of the arrows Oliver gave her she fires it directly into the centre of the archer's chest. They go to hit away only for it to explode on contact sending them flying backwards. Oliver's right. These arrows are fun to use. With the assassin down and disorientated she easily moves in to knock them out.

Another assassin tries to take her own with his sword. Nyssa slides under their attack effortlessly shifting from her bow to her sword in time bringing her sword up to block their next attack. The mental clang of both weapons hitting echos around her. The two of them go on to exchange blows. Nyssa could have ended the fight a bit earlier but she was very conscious of not allowing her attack to land any hits to her front or to trip her up. Her caution meant she didn't risk trying to break their defence and instead waited till they left themselves vulnerable.

It doesn't take long until that happens allowing Nyssa to slice at their stomach twist around them and slice all up their back. Moving on to the next assassins she follows the same strategy. Allowing her to take down the next three assassins who tried to take her own.

Nyssa takes a break from the fighting letting Malcolm deal with the two assassins charging them. Looking towards the rest of her teammates she sees the attackers they see or can react in time too. Wasting no time, she pulls an arrow out of her quiver firing into the crowds. The first Arrow flies into one of the two assassins near her husband. She fires one into their arm to disarm then then another into their leg.

Seeing that Oliver has that under control she takes aim towards one of the assassins heading towards Helena who has just knocked out Everlyn. One arrow to each side of their chest but making sure that it won't instantly kill them.

Given Chase's use of using that policeman as a fake target and her sisters' knowledge of Vitura you can never be too careful with masked attackers. Better safe than sorry.

She takes down another assassin in close combat before once again switching to her bow aiding Roy Thea and Helena with their opposition. They seem to be dealing with the most of them.

Through the chaos, she spots Talia on the edge of the fight. Her sister doesn't seem to be getting involved but watching everyone. Studying them. She and Chase could not have expected Oliver to show up with her Roy, Helena, Malcolm, her and Slade Wilson. She must be assessing them. Learning what their skill level is so she and Chase are better prepared for the final showdown.

Notching an Arrow Nyssa fires an arrow near her as a warning. Talia looks at the arrow and then at her. From this distance, Nyssa can't make out what her sister is feeling. She has no idea what Oliver was telling her after he turned off his comms but whatever it was, she hopes it got through to her sister. The last thing she wants to do is kill her older sister. The same sister who helped teach her how to master the sword. The same sister who left her to suffer at the hands of her father. Who didn't return when her brother's death was ordered and who failed to show up for her wedding.

Talia turns away from reaching behind her before calling for a retreat. Smoke bombs are thrown and most of the assassins that aren't completely out of it are gone.

The flash of the smoke bombs forces Oliver to close his eyes to stop himself from being blinded. When he opens them again there is a thin layer of smoke still floating around but Harkness Talia and the majority of her students are gone.

Hopefully, the next step of his plan works out.

Turning back to everyone he addresses the team. "Lock them in the cages. Keep Everlyn separate. And wake her up." Roy and Thea unlock the cages while Malcolm and Slade move Talia's students into them with Helena moving Evelyn into the cage Samantha was in.

Samantha starts to walk over to why Nyssa and Oliver are talking. "Any luck getting through to my sister," Nyssa asks with an uninterested tone, but Oliver can see right through her. This is hurting her. Far more then she is letting on.

Oliver shakes his head taking hold of her hand giving her a reassuring squeeze. He might have got through slightly, but Talia won't change sides so easily. Maybe Nyssa can get through to her better than he can. He can only hope she doesn't end up having to kill her sister before this is all over. If it comes to it. And that's a big IF. He won't allow Nyssa to be the one to kill her. She shouldn't have to carry that burden. The feeling of being responsible for the death of a family member is something that eats away at you. Tears you apart and submerges you in so much guilt it's hard to breath. He doesn't want that for Nyssa.

If it comes down to it. He will be the one to kill Talia.

He can hear the group discuss how they were brought here on a plane and where it was located. Before he can talk to Nyssa about this Samantha reaches the two of them. "He took William." She says frantically. "Oliver where is my son."

Oliver tries to calm her down. "He's here on the island somewhere. But don't worry because we are going to find him." He promises but his words don't really to help settle his son's mother.

"I'll go see if I can pick up my sisters' trail." Nyssa said looking for a way out of this conversation.

The idea of Nyssa out there on her own is not very comforting. "Be careful." He pleads gently stroking her wrist.

Nyssa seeing his fear offers him a soft smile. "Of course." Oliver kisses her before she takes off into the woods. He watches her go trying to fight the urge to run after her and watch her back.

"Uhhhh." Felicity draws out looking in shock between Oliver and the space Nyssa just was. "What was that."

Sighing Oliver forgot that the only person on his team that knew about him, and Nyssa was Thea. Spending so much time with Roy Helena Malcolm and Slade who were all aware of the two of them he forgot to watch his actions. Thea and Roy shoot Oliver a supportive look as the nervous rubs the back of his neck. He really doesn't want to get into a fight right now. Not with everything going on. "That was me being worried about my wife."

Felicity looks towards Curtis who is far more confused than Felicity does. She then looks towards Thea and Roy who have moved to stand with Oliver. Slade Helena and Malcolm are standing to the side watching the drama unfold. "Since when were you and Nyssa together." She shrieks out unable to comprehend what she just saw.

Oliver thinks back to when he and Nyssa first officially got together. It was not long after Felicity broke up with him because of his decision with William. Of course, he and Nyssa had fallen right back into their friends with benefits arrangement but then she needed help with searching for her missing siblings. So, he went with her. At the time he needed time away from Star City. Away from Felicity who had hurt in more than anyone else in his life ever had.

Breaking up with him hurt. Breaking up with him right after he had to give up his son crippled him. Breaking up with him because he didn't consult her in his decision angered him. She had no right to be involved in what he and Samantha decided for their son. So that alone made him angry and hurt. But to top it off she had taken her first steps right after. The first time she had walked because of the implant, and she had done it to walk away from him and their life together. Now that's just downright cruel and unforgivable.

It was while searching for Nyssa's siblings that he and her got closer and decided to give their marriage ago. And honestly, it was the best decision he has ever made. Thye had hooked up a few times before the orderal with the League but was different. "Over a year." He answers her as Felicity eyes exploded wide. Ignoring her Oliver turns his attention back to Samantha. "Me and my team won't stop until William is safe and sound. We will find him." Thea and Roy throw in their own comments about how they are going to find William. Helena and Slade note that there is no better group of people watching out for him.

It seems to have helped settle some of Samantha's frantic terror. The rest of it will disappear the moment William is back safe in her arms. Oliver knows she won't be happy and calm until then. No parent would be. Hell he isn't.

Nyssa returns not long after that. "I found my sisters and Harkness trail leading deeper into the Island. We should be able to track to wherever they are hiding." Oliver nods at her thankful that should his own plan fail or be discovered they can still track everyone.

"You'll never get your son back." Everlyn gloats from her cage earning a glare from everyone. "Chase has always been ten steps ahead. You don't know what he's planning. What he has instore for you. Maybe even leaving me here was part of his plan. "

No that was just because you are disposable to him and no longer serve him any purpose. If anything, he would be glad to get rid of you. Oliver was so very tempted to say this but hold it in. Instead, he and Nyssa exchange a small smirk as they make their way over to where Everlyn is locked away.

"You mean like Harkness betraying us," Oliver says lightly looking towards Nyssa.

In the same playful tone Nyssa replies, "or how the plane was blown up."

Everlyn's gloating looks slips right off of her face. Oliver feels some satisfaction at seeing this. "Because we never saw that coming." He says in a jesting tone as Nyssa fails to suppress a small laugh. One he follows with.

Confused as to what is going on Everlyn's flick form him to Nyssa rapidly. "What... What do you mean." She stutters out.

Continuing in the same tone Oliver starts to fill her and the rest of the group in on his plan. "Chase brings everyone I care about to the island where I have a prison of dangerous people who want to kill me. How did I not ever stop to think they might work together."

"Or, how a plane built to hold eight people is meant to carry sixteen people back," Nyssa adds on.

"Or how the plane he brought everyone here on is sabotaged. To lure everyone that way. Across the field of landmines." He states looking more towards his own group revealing that to everyone. As soon as Curtis described the way they came he knew exactly where it was. He's spent far too much time here to not know where the landmine field is located. Especially since he's stepped on one himself and if it wasn't' for Slade he would be dead by now.

Looking over at Slade he smirks at him telling Oliver he is remembering the same event. How far he has come since his first year on the Island.

"Or how splitting up his friends means our rescue group has to split up in order to protect the non-commandants. Leaving them vulnerable to an attack and Oliver weaker." Nyssa continues the pervious jesting tone disappearing into something more menacing.

Falling Nyssa's lead, he copies his tone putting on his league voice. "Don't for one second think I'm an idiot Everlyn. Chase and Talia lost the advantage over me when they exposed themselves to be working together. Once we knew that it isn't hard to think of their next steps."

"What."

"My sister trained both of them. She trained them to have the same mindsets shaped after her own. Which was taught to her by our father. The same man who trained both of us. And the same man we outsmarted and killed."

"Chase isn't ahead of us. Coming here was his greatest mistake. We have the home advantage."

Everlyn refuses to come to grips with the fact that at the moment Oliver is playing Chase, not the other way around. Unable to taunt him like that anymore she decides to target his son. "You will still never see your son again. Chase will see to that." In her head, she still has the upper hand. She knows Chase has William sperate from everyone else so even if Oliver and his new team end up finding everyone else, he still won't be reunited with his son.

"Oliver." A voice calls out as is summoned by Everlyn's words.
