When Rohan is in danger and thousands of Uruk-hai march on Helm's Deep, an army of elves comes to the aid of king Théoden. However, they are not alone. Amongst them there is a young elven girl with red-burning hair. As a woman in armor, she attracts the attention not only of the king himself, but also of his niece, Éowyn. And as you know, all's fair in love and war.

One day while sitting in the tower studying the map of middle earth a ranger came to ask for shelter from her father. She knew she was faited to this ranger but she didn’t know how.

Legolas has been captured by Hill-men from the Ettenmoors and it will be up to Aragorn and his brothers to free him. Unfortunately, not everything is quite as straight-forward as they might have hoped.

I caught the haughty grey stare that had been dogging my footsteps since taking that first step out of Rivendell. I tilted my chin up at him, a clear challenge. "One who treads on the sea." A simple trip to the wilderness with his brothers turns dire for Estel when a storm comes upon them unexpectedly. But as the howling of the wind is drowned out by sinister growls it is clear that the storm is the least of their problems.

Some evil stalks the Old Forest awakening its trees to malice. Elladan and Elrohir answer the summons of Gildor to investigate the source of this new darkness. Meanwhile, in Rivendell, Elrond takes Estel to another forest - this one not haunted by dark creatures but by something that might be just as sinister: memories.
