Lloyd and Cole spent the next few minutes playing whatever party games there were available. Most people couldn't tell it was Lloyd because he had covered his mouth with a scarf and was wearing a hoodie. The lighting was quite low, too.

"Morro also rented out the swimming pool down the street! We should go there!" Lloyd was surprised to hear that. Did Wu really know what Morro was doing without him?

He really wanted to go, but realised that someone might recognise him. But he had finally made a friend, after all these years, and he was being asked to hang out with him.

"Sure, but I need to get swimming goggles from the store first."

Cole apparently didn't notice all the glares Lloyd was getting at the store. The son of Garmadon chose a swimming mask instead, so it covered his whole face.

After making their purchase the two boys went to the pool. Many of Morro's guests were already there, so Lloyd would get lost in the crowd now. Now nobody would mention Lloyd's father in front of Cole.

"So do you know anyone at this party?" Lloyd was curious because he didn't see anyone besides himself talking to Cole.

"Yeah, my friend Jay was invited, but I can't seem to find him anywhere. We attended middle school together." He paused for a moment. "Do you wanna play volleyball?"

Lloyd really wanted to play, but he knew he couldn't do much activity in the pool besides splashing in the water. His liver still had problems and medication wasn't enough.

"No thanks, I don't feel energetic enough, but you can play if you want-" Lloyd abruptly stopped speaking and his heart rate increased. He saw Kai. He had to get away.

"Cole, I need to go to the bathroom, I'll be back in a minute." The blond ran out of the pool and happened to pass by the deep end on the way. He stopped dead in his tracks. Chen was standing right there, smirking at him. In front of the cheerleader was another boy. He had curly brown hair and freckles covered his cheeks. He was sitting by the pool, legs in the water, when Chen pushed him and screamed.

"Lloyd pushed someone into the water!" Everyone turned to look at the kid they hated the most. Lloyd snapped out of his panic when he realised that the boy was still in the water.

"No I didn't!" Lloyd didn't have time to argue further than this. He dived into the pool, and pulled the boy out. The brunette began coughing out water and some students came towards him for aid. Everyone else glared at Lloyd.

"I don't think Lloyds to blame!" All eyes were on Cole now. "What's your reasoning? Where's the proof?"

"The proof?" Chen laughed. "What are you, new here or somewhere? He's Lloyd Garmadon." Lloyd knew it was the end of his Friendship with Cole.

"Lloyd... Garmadon?" Cole's voice sounded a lot quieter than before. "Lord Garmadon's son?"

Lloyd was mortified. He didn't want to hear or see more. He ran out of the pool, not even stopping once to look back.

Lloyd stayed locked in his room for the rest of the day. After a few hours passed, Morro knocked on the door.

"The party's over, Lloyd. Everyone's gone."

Lloyd hesitantly came out of the room. Only Morro was outside.

"What happened at the swimming pool? I heard you pushed a boy into the deep end."

"I didn't do it! Chen did and he framed me for it. You believe him, don't you?"

"...I don't believe him."

"What?"

"Chen's a horrible person and a liar. I just realised that today."

"Yeah, I don't have a very good experience with him or his friend Kai."

"I could tell."

Lloyd turned back towards his room.

"Oh, Lloyd, one more thing." The younger of the two turned his head around.

"If anyone bothers you again just let me know."

Lloyd was speechless. He simply nodded and headed back. He thought about what Morro said. Does Morro... care for him?

Nah. It was probably just a prank of some sort.

(Was it?)
